221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: November 08, 2017, 01:19:43 PM
Bitcoin is online currency and Asset as investment option, it is upto the country where the users is living like in Asia still Bitcoin status is not clear so it is good as investment and conversion rate to converting to fiat currency is also high. So it is good as asset.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: November 08, 2017, 01:06:52 PM
I just convert my btc to fiat currency and use it as their is no stores where i can use bitcoin and online purchasing is costly due to delivery charges. I mostly convert my most of the bitcoins to fiat currency just keep small part for investment.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A newbie just killed Ethereum on: November 07, 2017, 10:23:25 PM

224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Funds sent without my knowledge on: November 06, 2017, 09:02:16 PM
AFter reading the full conversation it is clear that your electrum wallet is compromised and their is something problem with you computer or electrum wallet downloaded file. So it is much better that if you want to use electrum wallet then just download a new copy and just move on with it. What ever lost it just think that you have learnt a lesson of not properly using the downloaded file. So better just format your system and reinstall the operating system and then download again the electrum software and reinstall it and use it .
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happened to btc in 2020 will it hit $100,000 on: November 05, 2017, 09:05:01 PM
Many of predicotrs predict that bitcoin will hit $100,000 in year 2020.sometimes it might be true and the start of this year btc price was nearly $1000 and now it is $6000.btc always up their price by more than we expect is it true if we earn more btc now be can become  millionaires and succes our dreams .but the problem is .is it true what do you think ? Smiley
If this really happens, then we'll be filthy rich Wink I think that these predictions will come true.

Anything can happen nothing can be told about Bitcoin the way it is moving no one can tell when it will start to correction or how much up it will go. I dont hold much as i am earning bitcoin freely i just keep some part and balance i just convert them to fiat currency and use it.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 05, 2017, 09:02:54 PM
I personally only use crypto currency nowadays. I have a bitcoin debit card (bitpay) that I use everyday to make any payments.

It is nice because I can receive money anywhere in the world and have it sent directly to my bitpay account and then spend it in a irl store within minutes.

What about you guys? Do you invest/trade/use crypto currency?

I live in NY btw
Very lucky guy as your country is supported for bitcoin debit card and you are able to use bitcoin just like fiat currency in stores. Here my country is not supported for any bitcoin debit card and their is no stores where i can use bitcoin, so have to convert to fiat currency and use it. I live for crypto currency particular bitcoin payment as now this is my salary and job earning for my family.
227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet should starters use? on: November 05, 2017, 08:44:29 PM
I wont recommend to use online web wallets, as you are not holding the private keys for your address and the site can any time block your account if you use it for illegal activity or gambling. Try to use hardware or desktop wallet like i am using windows desktop and using Electrum wallet which is very easy and light weight to use it. and better use wallet for desktop better then mobile wallet.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: November 05, 2017, 02:58:22 PM
I haven't seen any Altcoin in this forum yet where so many high reputation / senior members are annoyed about the project.

Good time to buy?  Huh

Likely, but you gotta have patience.

for the past so many months i am seeing this type of message of saying very good coin good to hold it, luckily i sold all my icn at 0.002btc and now i will buy back more as i have earned a lot and this will be my investment for 1 yr hoping that the price will boom till then.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 05, 2017, 02:46:53 PM
Man city vs Arsenal, as expected Man city took home ground advantage and made a goal in first half now 30 min and 1-0 up man city, their will be more 2 goal and arsenal will make a goals so go for both team to goal and over 2.5 goal.
230  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What to do with 1 Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2017, 01:56:29 PM
Say I have one bitcoin today. What should I do with it? Should I get four S9 antminers or three L3+ antminers or combination of them.

Are are some smart options to grow this one bitcoin?
- buy equipment & mine (i have cheap electricity)
- buy equipment and have Hashnet host them
- hodl
- invest in LTC instead of BTC

What would you do?

If i were in your position i wont go for mining even if the electricity is cheap as mining wont give that much profit. I will go for 40% of the investment in other altcoins and balance will keep in btc as you can see the price is moving so high that we can say that it will become hard to earn 1 btc that time. And will work for bitcoins and earn more bitcoins.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTG worth the trouble? on: November 05, 2017, 01:44:03 PM
As the title says, would you claim your BTG or you would pass? I hear many bad stuff about it and the possibility that you could lose your btc.
Where would you claim BTG? There is no wallet available.
If you have heard bad stuff and that you could lose your BTC why didn't you ask those people why it is bad?
I am sure they have answers, and you can also update this topic with their answers  Wink

If you take the correct precautionery steps then you wont lose your btc, just like BCH claim procedure if you first transfer your bitcoins to another wallet and then claim the BTG from the wallet which it was holding bitcoins on the fork time that is enough. This way you wont lose any btc even if the BTG wallet is scam or virus affected.
232  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PLEASE HELP! BTC payment to Neteller declined but money never returned on: November 04, 2017, 10:39:36 PM
They just replied from Neteller:

Quote
Thank you for contacting us.

Regarding your case, please note that the Bitcoin transaction will require manual processing which may take up to 3 business days.

If after 3 business days the amount is not credited to your NETELLER account, please send us the following information:
BitPay invoice URL
NETELLER TRN ID
date, time, amount
sending Bitcoin address
receiving Bitcoin address
refund Bitcoin address
Thank you for choosing NETELLER!

Kind regards,
Nikoleta
NETELLER Team

It's confusing because it says it has been declined. I'll guess I have to wait 3 whole business days, I'm using Bitcoin to make things faster........................

If they are saying that you have to wait for 3 business days, then you have to wait now till 3 days and then only you should contact it no other solutions will work. As the transaction is in bitcoin so the coins once sent cannot be returned too so Neteller can only help you, no other can do anything
233  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase Problem on: November 04, 2017, 10:31:23 PM
I think their will be problem with coinbase server side , like it is getting heavy traffic so it got conjusted , it may be like the server got heavy load of transaction due to that the server got hanged. It mostly faces this problem due to high fluctuation of price movement in Bitcoin. So it is better to contact the support system or just wait for some time and then you can try to login it.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why Paypal is not a digital currency... on: November 04, 2017, 10:26:06 PM
I want to hear you guys why PayPal is not a digital currency and maybe Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto saw the benefits of Cryptocurrency after PayPal that's why he came up with the idea and create that simple idea into reality.

Let's talk about it...
There is nothing to talk here, first understand what paypal is and what is a cryptocurrency. Satoshi Nakamoto introduced bitcoin when there a big recession going on in the financial field where billions of dollars went to dust and none of the economist had any idea on how to tackle the issue and that is when this brilliant genius introduced this revolutionary technology so the world will have a better monetary system,it has nothing to do with paypal. Grin

Perfectly said, Paypal is the cash wallet, which is used to pay to merchants for trading. Its fees and procedures are very high. The transaction are reversible so their are lot of scam running through paypal. But Bitcoin low transaction charges and very easy to use it. Transactions are non reversible once send. Apart from that you dont have to disclose your identity to use bitcoins.
235  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Scam or not ? on: November 04, 2017, 10:20:02 PM
The site is legit and its faucet is genuine. Their payment system is good. The only problem is that their dice gambling having high house edge and lottery system is manipulated.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in India on: November 03, 2017, 03:27:23 PM
In now days bitcoin grow ina faster rate in india. Many teenager, adult and middle class people involved in it. In India 1bitcoin is equals to 376488 rupees. According to a current scenario it is good price of bitcoin. Most of india used zebpay app as bitcoin wallet. According to zebpay predation 500k new user will be join monthly in 2018. Indian government declared bitcoin as a legal. So their is nothing to worry about bitcoin investment. Bitcoin become an financial back bone of many Indian family.

Are you sure that Indian government have declared bitcoin as a legal. because as much i know still their is no details about bitcoin status in India. Because if Indian government have declared Bitcoin as legal then you cannot think that how fast the progress will be their in India as all merchants can accept bitcoin and other coins as payment system, just like Japan.

Apart from China, India is the country with the most people dealing in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the world, and it's really not surprising considering the number of people living in absolute poverty there and we all know that people living in poverty are always attracted to the prospect of making money all the time.

Being a long-term resident of India, I am pleasantly surprised by your statement. Even then, I would say that the Bitcoin trade volumes in India and the user-base is quite small and not really comparable to those in countries such as China and Russia. I really doubt whether India would rank among the top 10 countries, in terms of Bitcoin trade volumes.

I think you are wrong because as much i know India will be in the top 10 countries in terms of Bitcoin trade Volumes and even you can see the price difference in international market and Indian market, here the price is 10% to 20% high then in international market.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 03, 2017, 03:20:06 PM
this week 2 amazing big matches in the Premier League:
Manchester City vs Arsenal and Chelsea vs Manchester United!

If both Chelsea and Arsenal win, they completely re-open the games with the top 5 teams enclosed in just 6 points.

instead, If Manchester City wins and at the same time United does not win its match, the Citizens would have a big advantage of at least 7 points and would have the Premier League already in his hands.

Man City vs Arsenal - Man City to win definitely, they look unstoppable atm.
Chelsea vs Man Utd - This one is a lot tougher to predict, I think maybe Chelsea will win 1-0.

Man city playing in home ground and seeing the past matces it is true that they are unstoppable but cannot say because as their are so many upset in big teams.

man city vs arsenal - go for both team to goal and over 2.5 goal bet is good.

Chelsea playing in home ground so they can take this advantage and try to win this game. but man utd are also in good form, so i think this match can go draw or without goal also.

chelsea vs man utd - go for under 2.5 goal and first half draw.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much can Bitcoin increase? on: November 03, 2017, 03:15:46 PM
My guess is that the BTC will rise above $ 10,000 by the end of 2017. What do you think?

The way it is increasing it can go but as their is segwit2x hardfork on November 16th so cannot tell because it can go in correction mode before or after hardfork. As per my view the maximum we can see is 8000 to 8500 in this boom time and then their will be correction, but if some more good news come then surely we can touch 10000+ also.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining using low spec pc on: November 03, 2017, 03:12:43 PM
Well thatnks for the recomendation but i would like know how much i could generate with 200 pc runing at the same time

You have got DC pc without graphics card then i think, you will only burn down your cpus and wont get much profit as it is very hard to mine without graphics card, even if some shit coin can be mined its value will be in pennis. So better do some other work or sell the cpu and do trading in btc.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is driving BTC increase on: November 02, 2017, 01:58:24 PM
I think there are 3 factors now that drives Bitcoin to hit all time high. One reason that I see is the CME groups announcement that they will add Bitcoin futures and with this announcement it may make other investment groups or company to rethink about their stand with Bitcoin.

Second factor is the recent news that Amazon bought domains related to cryptocurrency, while I havent seen a confirmation from amazon, but this news is good for Bitcoin because with the coming holidays and amazon being the biggest online seller in the world, this will drive Bitcoin to new heights.

Third and last factor is the November 16 fork and it looks like this is not the last of it but every time there is an upcoming fork, there a sudden surge of price of Bitcoin.
I agree with these, I did hear that Amazon were going to announce that they would be adding bitcoin as a payment option but I think that has been said for a long time, I was not aware of them buying up crypto domain names, bitcoin could skyrocket if it happens this quarter.

Till date their is no confirmation news of Amazon going for Bitcoin payment. The only option is that their are some sites who are giving amazon discount coupons in against of Bitcoin payment. But other two factors can be the reason of this spike of price in bitcoin.
