201  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone use YoBit anymore? on: November 14, 2017, 11:30:27 AM
It's easy and ok sort of exchange and easy to enroll the coins. So yes I am still using yobit till now.
A lot of people really find yobit very easy but it seems a huge risky place to ever trade. I do not want to go towards their level of support because that sucks and I cannot imagine having an issue with my funds and then not being able to reach anyone to resolve that.

They have done some crazy greedy stunts over the years and that totally makes me uncomfortable as a user which is why I won't really want to be a part of that exchange ever again but for those who can take the chance and overlook security for the ease, they can be my guest.

I am using yobit for more then 2yrs but still i am using it and never faced problem, the main problem with them is most of the coins which are in good wallet condition even then in yobit that coins are in maintenance due to the coin server problem. Balance almost all coins are listed in this exchange.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: November 13, 2017, 11:46:00 PM
Pretty smart to leave bitcoins for your children because that will make them rich and they don't have to worry about taxes or anything. But maybe it will be for nothing because bitcoin may always go down and maybe another coin will become important.

Bitcoin  has a big future ahead and other cryptocurrencies i think has a long way to go if they want to overcome bitcoin. Yes, it is possible but i don't think it won't happen in the near future. Much better if we earn our bitcoin and save it for the future of our family.
I am indeed believe that bitcoin has a huge future kind of cryptocurrency. And speaking of a better future it is not bad to start save bitcoin for our children, for our future. Either it will make us rich soon or not, I would prefer to start saving bitcoin for some personal reasons. Though bitcoin value was inconsistent well I still believe it's potential to make the life of my children easier.

After the latest dump in btc and pump in bcc only makes worry that very soon their will be something big going to happen so who ever holding btc should be safe
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi wins! on: November 12, 2017, 08:07:48 PM
But bitcoin is not VHS and BCH is not DVD. Speaking your terms, if bitcoin is VHS, than DVD is ethereum, eos or projects like that.
If bitcoin would ever be replaced (at least surpassed in capitalisation), that'll be an altcoin which is technologically more advanced by design. But not a fork.

Ethereum is no where near btc but bch /bcc have really created a good pump now it is trying to attack through transaction problem by not giving hash to confirm the transaction so that btc could die
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 12, 2017, 08:01:58 PM
Just saying... BTC is the real thing and will remain... you know it right?

So act wisely and don't fall for this trap: btw don't miss the chance to sell you BCH to get more Bitcoins - I'm sure we will have a bigger pump by Christmas Wink

I think everyone is knowing about this and even most of them have sold their coins.  This is just pump from the developer to sell his coin
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claiming Bitcoin Cash on: November 12, 2017, 02:35:41 PM
Can I do it with armory?

If you are holding armory wallet then better to contact them directly and clear all your doubts because if any user confirms of ok and when you are trying then their should not be problem. So better contact them directly.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are my sending fees so high? on: November 12, 2017, 02:06:48 PM
I have a little bit of bitcoins on the online blockchain wallet and noticed the sending fees is 14$ no matter how much I am sending and seems to be rising everyday... what happens if I decide to customize the fee and put it at 10 sat/b for example?

How long would that take it to transfer?

I dont know much about blockchain but the main reason will be that as much the difficulty level raised the transaction fees also raise. I am using electrum and it gives option to change the transaction fees as per our need. and i am using 30k per sat and my transaction are taking 30 min to 50 min for confirmation.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Shit! - Bitcoin is Rekt! on: November 12, 2017, 06:55:08 AM
Can anyone explain me: why BCH? There was no such a big demand before the "fork" (and even after the previous one) thats why I don't think that all of that people are coming for the bigger block size. There is a lot of coins that could get a good pump after the fork get cancelled but why da hell people chose BCH?
It wasn't traded that mutch fr the last time and got such a bug pump at once. Like someone planned to do it  Huh Undecided

Big Money and Big Miners and Big Merchants no want segwit.

They left note.
https://theflippening.github.io/open-letter-to-bitcoin-miners-from-another-miner/

AFter reading the link post given by you, it is clear that it was planned to sell btc and buy bitcoin cash so that switching from Bitcoin to bitcoin cash will become easy and in the end bitcoin will go to dust and bitcoin cash will gain the position of BTC. If properly reading the post the same thing is happening and from 3 days back as expected they have started to sell btc and buy bch/bcc and now they will very soon kill original btc and bch/bcc will take over it.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: November 11, 2017, 10:18:38 AM
OMG, price is very at the moment..sigh.. Embarrassed..is this coin dead already? i have 100k of this coin.
Price dropped badly indeed. Pioneer isn't active here anymore, no news and no one knows if he will comeback. However, by checking the explorer, people in the rich list(top 100) still remains and holding their coins. Though no assurance, there is still a possibility that the price will pump in the future.

more then two weeks it is that the price is dropped and their is no trade at present i have sold all my icob coins at 15 sat as i lost the hope in this project, i have my buy order @ 2 sat from the profit which i got in this project in hope that developer will come back and give some hope in this project.

I haven't sold mine so my best chance is to wait for pioneer to show up, or perhaps some pump and dump team revive this coin.

Me too i am also still holding my 500k coins but the difference is that i have been trading this coin and have take the profit apart from that i am holding 500k coins still having hope that this coin will outperform very soon
209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategy for upcoming BTC fork? on: November 11, 2017, 10:12:41 AM
I think Bitcoin Cash will win.
Yeah, no fork make bitcoin cash become new king. I susprise with it rising.

Nope Bitcoin Cash will never be,
why ? because it was not Bitcoin but instead it was the Alternative Coin.
indeed they declared it about suspended the segwit2x,
but it does not mean it will not in the future, right ? the reason behind their move a day ago because of the community themself.
with fork Bitcoin gained a lot of Pros and Cons, what will happen if Bitcoin supporter divided into 2 group if they keep forcing it ?
they're making move for a long term project,
we need it because it will help the network, but right now it's not a good time to do it because of the differences in Bitcoin users opinion.
just becareful with your thing so called 'New King' in a few weeks later on,
you can lose all of your money in a second if you do not your own research properly.

Every one was thinking the same about bitcoin cash some days back till SegWit2x is not cancelled and now no other hardfork is their to compete with bitcoin cash so i think the minners will support bitcoin cash due to big block size, due to that low transaction fees and fast confirmation in transaction.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: November 11, 2017, 09:45:50 AM
This are nothing but the rumors created so that big whales can profit book and the weak hands will sell of so that in low the whales can buy back. Always after some pump of price , this type of some news comes and the market reacts it and their will be some correction and then the weak hands and day traders start to sell of their bitcoins and it goes some more low and then whales just jump and buy back and the price goes back to normal price and then next ATH price comes in. China is the main issue always taken to down the market price. I simply pity on china and Chinese peoples who are getting all false comments on them.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help with physical BTC please?! on: November 11, 2017, 09:39:10 AM
Check the private key properly as if you have typed wrongly some letters or the pattern you may be missing. If not from where you bought try to contact them as their are some old users who are still dealing in this type of physical btc.
212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happend with BTC? BTC is going down under 7000 USD. on: November 10, 2017, 11:07:05 PM
This is nothing but a shorterm correction due to high price and cancellation of segwit2x due to which lot of users sold their altcoin in greedy to earn free coins from hardfork and earn some free bitcoins. But as it got cancelled they are going back to their old altcoins to buy back. In the mean time bitcoin cash is the only hardfork got success so it is giving competition to Bitcoin.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for the Bitcoin Cash Pump!! on: November 10, 2017, 10:25:20 PM
As i have heard that the main reason of this price increase in bitcoin cash is due to segwit2x cancel and bitcoin gold failure makes bitcoin cash more strong and as real bitcoin transaction charges are high and confirmation is also low , which makes bitcoin cash more popular due to big block size due to that low transaction charges and fast confirmation of transaction. If i am not wrong then very soon we can see bitcoin cash become more popular then bitcoin
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh This is just the beginning on: November 10, 2017, 09:53:38 PM
Could someone shed light on what is happening with BTC and BCH ? Why is BCH suddenly gathering momentum and increasing its price? Is this a pump ? There is also talk about BTC being replaced by BCH. Any update/explanation on this topic is very much appreciated!

Thank you

vnck25

This is the rumour which is going on right now in the crypto currency world that miners are now pusing Bitcoin Cash more and wanted it to be the main stream coin better then bitcoin as the block size is low and transaction cost is going high.
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happend with BTC? BTC is going down under 7000 USD. on: November 10, 2017, 01:31:31 PM
What happend with BTC? BTC is going down under 7000 USD.

segwit 2x cancelled but BTC is going down under 7000 USD.

Almost people thought if segwit 2x cancelled, Price go up to 8000 USD.
But now Price is down.

How do you think about this situation?

I have more than 40 BTC now, And I am losing my money now.
I bought BTC at 7500 USD.....

Hold or not..

This happens because of everyone sold altcoin and converted it to bitcoins so that they can get benefit of SegWit2x free coins and then sell and buy more altcoin but due to cancellation of it now eveyrone is buying back their altcoins which they sold it and bitcoin is getting corrected. But i think withing 24 hrs we will see the recovery of bitcoin price very soon. As this is temporary correction and profit booking in bitcoin.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin Cash going up like hell? on: November 10, 2017, 01:11:44 PM
What is happening to Bitcoin Cash at the moment?

It's already on 850$ and seems to be increasing more and more. Anyone knows the reason for that?

Segwit2x suspension / cancellation is driving people/traders/miners who really do want a larger blocksize and lower fees
towards Bitcoin Cash (which has 8mb blocksize and lower fees).

I think some cash will also flow to Dash now, which will soon have 2mb blocksize and pretty much the lowest fees of them all.
This is a battle of value of store (Bitcoin) versus value of usability (Bitcoin Cash / Dash)

Not only the cancellation of SegWit2x is the reason for BCH pump but even failure of BTG hardfork is also the main reason why all miners are thinking that BCH is the correct one to match the BTC for blocksize like what you said.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support direct payment in ETH for bounty? (POLL) on: November 09, 2017, 08:42:47 PM
Can someone explain to me in layman's terms what a bounty is and why it benefits both parties? thanks  Tongue

Simple way when a new coin is launched no one knows about it so for advertisement they have to do anything, so here in this forum their are so many ways of bounty through which the coin is got advertised and the users who are advertising it gets pay for it and the new coin developers gets investment in return of this advertisement, which promotes their coin and projects.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do any ICOs refund your money? on: November 09, 2017, 08:15:30 PM
I want to invest in an ICO yet want to invest in something that can refund me in case I need to pull out the money for an emergency. Know any companies that honor that?

Not in the past and not in the present that their is any ICO which can give refund, but in future it may happen. Only refund option was their when escrow was used and some ICO had their minimum investment cap if that is not achieve they gave refund and cancelled the ICO. Apart from this their is no ICO which gives option of refund the invested bitcoins if investors wants due to emergency or declining to join ICO.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: November 09, 2017, 01:39:21 PM
I haven't seen any Altcoin in this forum yet where so many high reputation / senior members are annoyed about the project.

Good time to buy?  Huh

Likely, but you gotta have patience.

for the past so many months i am seeing this type of message of saying very good [Suspicious link removed]d to hold it, luckily i sold all my icn at 0.002btc and now i will buy back more as i have earned a lot and this will be my investment for 1 yr hoping that the price will boom till then.

Are you the guy that complained that his account on the platform was locked because of money laundry policy issues?  Cheesy
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2349628.0

Cool man i am not that person as my account was got hacked and i got recovered it and that is long back issue. I just told my trading experience with this coin , what i have done it. nothing more.
220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Meaning of leaving money on the exchange on: November 08, 2017, 01:25:25 PM
Hello,

I was doing some research on Bitcoin trading.

http://prntscr.com/h76g3r

What does this mean by "Ideally, when trading, only deposit to make a trade, then get your money off the exchange." from the link above. I took a screenshot from an article.

Does this mean, if i take a trade on exchange GDAX and close it the trade with a profit of say $300, I need to withdraw $300 from GDAX instantly? Or does this mean, don't leave extra money in my GDAX trading account that I will not be used for trading only?

Thanks, still learning.

It means that never believe exchanges and when ever their is big profit just take some profit withdraw so that in future if any problem you should not be loosing everything . This the meaning of never leave money on exchange.
