Just want to see what people's opinion is on the matter.
If Ethereum does decide to do a soft fork, then a hard fork to return all investor funds. Then they might as well do this for exactly that purpose and close the platform down right after. Imo, it's better to start from scratch with a better platform minus the security issues, the stigma and the bad rep. The soft fork is almost certain. I am not sure about the hard fork. There is no voting about hard fork at the moment. |

For a week the ETH price dropped from 0.027 to 0.017 at the moment and for the next week i think the price will be near 0.02BTC
The Ethereum price is 0.023 at the moment. It rose a lot in the last few days. Maybe people still have confidence. The Ethereum price is very volatile at the moment. but it is understandale. It is recovering from the recent hack. ETH wasn't hacked. Or even attacked. FFS. To me, there is no difference if the DAO or the Ethereum is attacked. I think if you want to buy things online you can better use bitcoins becasue tyou will get things very cheap becasue you pay with bitcoins normal money will be more expensive.

It always takes time for people to get used to something new.Maybe many new merchants ,businesses upcoming in this new year.
To be honest the beginning of the year was pretty boring but that was mainly because of the price being stable for a very long time. It has now changed and the price is rising for quiet some time now and it is attracting allot of people again. I hope for the next three months, it will be boring again, ie price consolidation preparing for the next price rise. |

I think Nicehash could provide a rent service. Miners can rent their hash there, whoever pays the highest, get the hashing.

For those that are trying to defend these actions, you are wrong. Read this transcript. They're making a huge mistake with coin control: Gotta love it when one smart contract threatens to kill an entire blockchain, and those in control of it are scrambling to subvert every principle of decentralization, fungibility, immutability, and practical rationale behind a blockchain model, just to bail themselves out.
They're even trying to compare this situation with the one with Bitcoin back in 2013. This is not even remotely similar. Bitcoin has never taken away anyone's coins, regardless of whether they're stolen or not. Bitcoin is immutable, ETH obviously isn't. The Ethereum community will decide in the next few days if they want to take back the money stolen by sombody. |

We were about to run our project on Ethereum. After hard fork I'm not sure it is a good idea. I don't understand how can anyone use blockchain which could be hardforked by creator's decision.  No. We the community will decide if we want the fork. If you do not agree with the fork, you can run the old codes. |
