221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is going to touch all time highs on: March 07, 2024, 02:17:26 PM
Bitcoin price has already touched 69000 thousand dollars, which is the highest price of 2021. So how reasonable do you think it is that the price of bitcoin will touch 70k dollar again if it takes another step forward?

Bitcoin already survived a sharp drop to 58K after reaching the ATH and now on the process of recovering back on top of that previous ATH. 70K is now a very reachable target considering that the price doesn’t show any sign of slow down after the sharp drop.

I believe even 80K is possible in the coming weeks since there’s still a lot of days left before the halving while the price is still going strong on the 60K level. There’s no wants to left behind that’s why there’s a lot of people keep buying whenever there’s an opportunity on sharp drop. Playing futures trading now is a dumb move since the price is very volatile both side even the growth is steady upwards in daily basis.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Even as a sport fan be careful! on: March 07, 2024, 02:11:48 PM

Rumors says they were away supporters, and the showoff was immense. I feel there is a need that if a Fan goes on a vacation to watch a game in a foreign country. They should be security conscious, observant and stay out of unnecessary banters that could lead them to troubles or death. It a game for fun and merriment not something we should take too personally to heart to cause trouble.

This is why you should be in a low key mode if you are foreign in an area when watching sports with fan based. There’s always a die hard fan that resorting to violence once their home team didn’t win the game while the foreign guys support the enemy team since it’s hot in the eyes of home fans.

This is always happening in my country even on a small sports tournament locally. People that is just visiting is always being a victim of harassment and violence just because their team is winning while they arr supporting hard.
223  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Online casino bonus structure on: March 04, 2024, 02:40:09 PM

224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can You Really Build Web3 Communities By Paying for Engagement? on: March 04, 2024, 12:22:09 PM

Sounds cool in theory, right? Creators get their stuff seen, people get paid... but will it feel genuine? Or will it just be a bunch of obvious paid promotion clogging up feeds?  And honestly, I'm not quite getting this token thing yet. Is it about building a real community, or is the token the end game?

Anyone else tried REACH? Am I missing something here? Is this a legit way to get eyes on cool Web3 projects, or is it kinda sketch? Curious to hear what others think.

Paying content creator through tokens or real money is the only way you can build a community. Even in popular social media platform like X, Tiktok and Facebook which they are incentivizing content creator post for the number of reactions and view it can get.

It’s same principle to the project you are referring. It’s not sketchy because that’s the normal way now building a community. There’s no one will be interested to create a content to a platform that doesn’t reward users while there’s existing platform that pays them. I’m not specifically telling that this project is legit but what you are asking based on description is just normal for a platform like this.
225  Economy / Gambling / Re: An open letter to Eddie from Stake with lots of shares on Reddit on: March 04, 2024, 12:10:38 PM

You should copy the complete content time and just enclosed it with quote so that user here can read the content immediately without visiting using the link you provided that directs outside the forum. As many already mentioned, the letter was already deleted and the purpose of this thread is already useless.

Just lock the thread immediately or at least sure what’s the recap of that letter if you still remember to have a proper discussion.

There’s a lot of user recently having problem on Stake.com due to multiple account. Probably its the same user that spreading negativity here in the forum.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos: Still a thing? on: March 04, 2024, 11:48:20 AM

It's obviously a red flag, if you doesnt have control over your money dont put it on there because they could easily freeze your account, and you're not gonna be able to recover it. For me in comparison its even better to put your money on the trusted exchange than putting it on some casino for interest.

I won’t consider it as red flag because some casino run longer than exchange. It’s just not safe to invest which you can’t hold your coins on a non custodial wallet. It’s part of the risk of investment like this but not enough to be considered as red flag since this is not a sure scam.

Casino investment is already now innovate because you can. Invest in a casino without sending your money to their bankroll but through holding their utility which they use to fund their casino. They offer a buy back and mining for a passive income. This is much safer form of casino investment because you are holding your own token in your preferred wallet.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which player are you? on: March 04, 2024, 08:15:37 AM
Do you prefer games where you know right away whether you've won (or lost) casino style, or do you prefer other games like sports betting? Do you have any other favorite games?

I’m balance gambler now since I always bet on sports bet whenever I play in the casino. I split my funds for sports betting and fast games(slot and table games) whenever I’m gambling. First I will place bet then play slots and other games while wait for my sports betting result for the day.

The only time I solely play sports betting is when I really like the sports that I placed my bet because I watch the game after I place bets. I think most gambler here preferred slot games since it’s the most simple and quickest game to play in a casino.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery ticket sports bets on: March 03, 2024, 02:36:31 PM
Of course there's no solid strategy behind actually winning such bets. It's super hard to win any of these bets especially if you put in the max amount of matches. But since it's something you can do with stale as low as 5 cents, not much harm is being done.

What do you think of such bets? Have you ever considered doing it?

This is not bad idea if you are just seeking for a pure luck game using a game that can be done with analysis to increase you winning chance.

I’m not sure if you are experiencing this but I’m having rough time always whenever I’m browsing matches odds especially on live games since it frequently change odds that makes it so confusing to bet if you have multiple picks. There’s an easy way to this when you are using copy bets from user that picks high odds to save you time on picking.

But for me, I still choose lottery compared to sportsbet if I will just do a random bet since you can win more amount on lottery once you become lucky.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are selling now, what are you keeping for later and which are you selling on: March 03, 2024, 11:28:36 AM
Which of the altcoins can you sell now to take advantage of those sweet gains, and which of them are you leaving for better future profits? I had the belief that there are altcoins that have so much potential, and selling them off now won't do any better since they deserve to be held for a long time, just like bitcoin.

You should sell all if you are already decided to sell all your holdings because all will dump if the market is already in bear season. It’s better to purchase once the market already correct rather than taking profit from some of your altcoin and hold the rest for future value because they will surely dump too.

It’s either you will sell all or hold all because doing partial on altcoins might just bring you to breakeven once your remaining altcoin for holdings dump hard. Much better if you will hold Bitcoin long term than altcoin because there’s no altcoin that will grow continuously in the long run. They just keep repeating the cycle of pump and dump.
230  Economy / Gambling / Re: JustCasino.io | Get the Best Crypto Casino Experience on: March 03, 2024, 11:20:25 AM
Every business has a struggle at the beginning; maybe they realize that they are not ready yet for the big competition. The good news is they were able to keep their fiat casino, as I believe it was already in operation before they started their venture into crypto gambling. The gesture is still kind of positive, as others may just easily leave doing some "exit scam." Here they never attempted it, so if they come back in the future, they can still keep their positive reputation.

I doubt this due to tough competition since they strong marketing already that running well. They should just stop the promotion if they think the problem is competition and just re-evaluate their next step for marketing.

I think it’s more on rebranding part or legal issue since operating crypto casino is different to fiat. They probably come back again soon in different brand name. This is common strategy of fiat casino when they are opening a crypto arm casino.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 02, 2024, 04:04:57 PM
Nope, it was the Denver Nuggets who won the championship last season. But prior to that, it was the Warriors when they beat the Celtics in the NBA Finals. After that, the Warriors' chemistry has been going down the drain, and the reason was the punching incident in the practice between Draymond and Poole. But, as we can see now, it seems like it was really Poole who has the attitude problem, as he is also struggling now with the new team, which he called his own.

Poole with the Warriors was averaging 20.4, while now his average has gone down to 16.3 points only. The worst part is he is playing on one of the worst teams in the NBA, so the playoff chances are out of his range now
Speaking of Poole, I remembered again somebody here who posted that Poole will average 25-30 PPG in Wizards now that he's the main star of the team. Turns out, he's the worst in terms of plus-minus in the whole NBA. Cheesy

I think the guy that posted it didn’t notice that Poole becomes worst in terms of PPG and accuracy way back on GSW after they won the Championship. Many thought that his play time is the problem but his inconsistency is really the main culprit that’s why he can’t perform any better probably due to the early success that he get during the hood run when Warriors win the champs.

Poole is not that persistent on playing unlike when he is on Warriors. Right now, he is double edge sword that can both help and destroy the team depending on his mood for that day.  Cheesy
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Acquired knowledge from cryptocurrency indulgence on: March 02, 2024, 03:08:47 PM
What knowledge have you acquired or what particularly investment decision did you make that has shaped you into what you are ?

The most important knowledge that I learn on crypto trading is the value to hold Bitcoin no matter what happened because it always coming back to the top regardless of how dip the price during bear market. I experienced many bull/bear cycle that makes me confident that Bitcoin always coming back.

233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com - unethical practices on limitting losing players on: March 02, 2024, 02:58:58 PM
I looked at my stats and saw I'm down $220k. So, after one good week, they limit how much I can bet. It doesn't seem right to let me lose all this time and then restrict me when I finally win. I understand limiting winners but doing this to someone who's lost a lot feels wrong.

Customer service didn't help, just told me to bet less and brushed me off. Is this how they treat someone who's been loyal and lost over $220k in 4 years? I think it's important you all know how they treat players here. If you start winning, they might just cut you off.

Take care.

Maybe they are afraid that you will recover your losses due to your current winning streak which is why they decided to limit already your account before that recovery happened. This account limit happened already to many players that reported here in the forum. Casino needs to protect their business to potential threat like you that already gaining profit consistently.

There’s no known case like this that resolve successfully so far. I suggest to use DEX sportsbook or try to use multiple casino to spread all your bets to avoid being limit if you are on the lucky streak.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling still pays regardless of our losses on: March 01, 2024, 04:25:44 PM
When you are happy to see other people's enjoyment displayed by them, surely you will also feel sad if you know that the winnings are the result of all the money you lost before, we all know that all the money circulates on gambling sites so that the money we have spent on gambling it will come back to us, so there is nothing pleasant about getting that win, if people want to realize that every gamble should not be too confident that it will always win.

You are just complicating things and less exciting for gambling. By your logic, You shouldn’t be happy even if you earn salary in fiat because it’s just the product of your daily expenses for purchasing food and other necessities so you shouldn’t be happy if you receive additional money from work or anything because you are looking on it as your previous money that you spend already.

You can get fun on gambling through winning against the risk involved on your bet. This is what you are paying since gambling is not a source of income. It’s already worth to celebrate if you win 10$ today even if you lose 100$ last year because they are different gambling session that you shouldn’t mix if you want to enjoy the game.
235  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: March 01, 2024, 03:43:00 PM

These same taught have I on the purpose of the post because I am not fully convince is for gambling in crypto.
What can give me hope on this if all this thing have evidence or proof.
Please if you can throw more light on the source and proof is better.

What kind of proof you are asking? This thread is clearly a guide on how to use staking feature as substitute for self excluding feature of the casino. I find this method more effective because you don’t have any money for gambling once you already stake it on DeFi while self exclusion can be easily bypass by playing to different casino or use VPN to register a new account.

It’s given that the OP wants to promote his video but there’s nothing wrong with it if the content is in line with the topic here and not just a clickbait video that contains different spam topic.
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mom won 50,000$ in Lottery on: March 01, 2024, 03:38:16 PM
50 thousand dollars is a nice amount of money. I would like to congratulate the mother for being lucky. He took a lot of cost and risk, if he spent 5 thousand dollars for 50 thousand dollars, this is not very good, but as a result he made money. For those who are wondering what he did with that money right now, I hope he spent it on his needs.

Receiving a large amount of money to meet some needs creates a very different feeling. I hope they make good use of the money.

You probably mistaken what’s the context of this topic. The mistakenly thought that he won 5000$ maybe due to poor eyesight but later on reveal by his son that he won 50,000$ instead. Probably the mom already contended on the 5,000$ that’s why he immediately assumed and celebrated the reward.

There’s no info about the amount he use to win in the scratch cards but definitely not 5000$ because this will be equivalent to a tons of scratch card which is very hard to scratch on a single game.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: dice9.win – simple, fast and provably fair crypto games on: February 29, 2024, 02:22:01 PM
First of all welcome to the forum. Your casino is indeed simple yet offers some quick on-chain games that is perfect for those users that hold their token on non custodial wallet like metamask that want to have a little fun on gambling.

I just notice some minor concern or confusion on one of your game called two dice. It shows that payout to winning bet pays up to 35.64 but there’s no instruction about the payout table when placing bet? How can we win x35.64 and what is the minimum payout on this game?

Sure thing! Since all our games are completely fair in terms of returns, the amount of payback depends on your odds of winning. For some games (e.g. Coin Flip), the odds of winning are fixed, but for others (like Two Dice) the odds depend on which options you choose. You can basically decide on whether you wanna win more often (but receive a smaller payback) or win rarely (but big).

Every game will display you all the information (chances of winning, payout amount etc) interactively – just play with the options yourself.

We have more details available at https://dice9.notion.site/ (including game rules).

As for the minimum bets, it's 0.1 BNB or 0.01 ETH at the moment.

You should include the game rule on the main game like adding info button on the game to easily get the mechanics of the game. I honestly think that payout on each bet is x35 while I can cover all the possible outcome with 11 bets just to win x35.

So it means that I can only win x35 if I only choose one outcome of sum on each round right? This is the only game that makes me confused since it requires payout table due to varying outcome depending on the pick.

239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any crypto to streamline donations to international organizations? on: February 29, 2024, 12:58:42 PM
Traditional banking can be complicated, especially for those wanting to support causes across borders.  Is anyone using crypto to streamline donations to international organizations?  Huh Huh Huh

There’s actually a lot of non profit organizations that accepts crypto for donations. One example is https://bitpay.com/nonprofits/ that support direct crypto donations for a fundraising that you want to start.

I manage to donate on some foundation using Bitcoin but they are using payment solutions that automate convert my Bitcoin to Fiat but still I use my Bitcoin directly for my donation.

Holding our bitcoin, don't take profit and exit too early.

Watch big names like Micro Strategy, they are bigger than El Salvador.
If they take profit, we can follow them to take profit.

If Microstrategy takes profit, I doubt that we can follow them immediately since their Bitcoin holdings value is enough to create a heavy selling pressure in the market. This is my greatest fear on Saylor dominance on Bitcoin.

It’s either he will abandon us completely or slowly take profit without affecting the market heavily.

The market in 2024 now have more institutional investors from Bitcoin Spot ETFs, not only MicroStrategy. Those Bitcoin Spot ETFs are heavily buying Bitcoin.

This tracker is not on-chain, They might sell their coin earlier and delay their announcement just like what Elon did before when he unload all his crypto holdings.
