221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Snapchat Officially Confirmed the Ban of ICO Ads on: August 01, 2018, 05:13:59 AM
Following such giants as Facebook, Google and Twitter, Snapchat has officially announced its ban of ICO advertising on its platform.
Twitter is reported to plan to implement the announced ban in the coming weeks. There is no final confirmation, nevertheless, it is said that its ban will be also applied not only to ICOs ads but also it will affect cryptocurrency wallets and exchanges with some exceptions.
Will the price fall again?
Not only Snapchat but there are other social networking sites also like Facebook Twitter who has banned crypto ads and there are many other people also who don’t want bitcoin to be used anywhere but let me clear the consequences of this, Facebook, the largest social networking site among all, I guess has reduced its shares by 5% since when it has banned crypto ads over its page so it feels like happy that bitcoin lovers are more than the bitcoin haters.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should NOT determine the market on: August 01, 2018, 04:58:17 AM
I really really love crypto but I think it is not a good thing that the price of BTC determines what the entire market does. I feel like there should be something done that makes the crypto market more decentralized where the price of BTC doesn't swing the market up and down there should be some sort of better system put in place otherwise we are just creating a system that is just the same as the current fiat system we have where the most "trusted/valuable" asset determines the entire market.

Just some thoughts, what do yall think??
I also loved the bitcoin but you must know that one thing that bitcoin is the largest crypto currency among all other crypto and there are many evidences and statistics that prove this right so no doubt the valuation and the growth and moreover the popularity of bitcoin among all the crypto is more so no doubt the flactuation in the valuation of bitcoin and all other things will govern the statistics and the entire market of the crypto and I think this is not the matter to worry about, this is very natural.

Details:
https://cryptotown.io/news/nevermind-bitcoin-price-drop-binance-on-track-to-see-1-billion-profit-bitcoinist/index.html
No doubt bitcoin is that much profitable that one can’t even dream off and obviously it has made a tremendous progress since the year it was introduced but still there is something lacking in the bitcoin, look I have something to share with you, I bought some bitcoin and till now I am holding them and still not getting any profit, so I just want to know, what could we do with the overall profit if personally I am getting no profit from the bitcoin.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google prohibits cryptocurrency mining in the playstore on: July 31, 2018, 07:30:08 AM
After banning cryptocurrency mining extensions from Chrome Store earlier this year, Google now banned Play Store applications that perform similar activities.

In a new update of its developer policies, the technology giant has indicated that the applications that are used to extract cryptocurrencies will be banned from now on.

However, the technology company based in Mountain View, California made an exception regarding the applications that are used in the remote management of the mining cryptocurrency, as they will be allowed. "We do not allow applications that extract cryptocurrencies on devices. We allow applications that manage remotely the extraction of cryptocurrencies, "reads the updated guidelines.

The ban comes as a result of growing cases of crypto-devices that are increasingly considered more lucrative than ransomware by malicious actors. In April of this year, for example, the world's cybersecurity company Kaspersky revealed that the cryptocurrency mining applications containing the Coinhive miner are offered on the Google Play Store disguised as harmless entertainment applications.

As we all know that bitcoin is always been in controversy because of its volatile nature that is the one half of the population is in favour of bitcoin and the another half is in against of bitcoin and there is a conflict between these two groups of people, there are many countries who has legalised bitcoin and on the other hand there are another group of people for them bitcoin is a scam or a bubble so I think that time will tells that which part of population is right and have right thought about bitcoin.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung has now entered the cryptocurrency world on: July 31, 2018, 07:15:18 AM

As we know Samsung is one of the biggest and famous phones, smartphones, tablets producers in the whole world and now they are planning to make there own mining software. Is this a good news for us bitcoin users? I mean what are they aiming for?

For more info just read visit the link: https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-is-reportedly-making-mining-hardware-for-cryptocurrencies/
There are very good news coming from all around the world that many countries and agencies and large companies are now becoming a part of bitcoin and now Brazil and South Korea are the two large countries who has legalised the bitcoin transactions in their nation but inspite of all these developments and acceptance of bitcoin around the world, I am not still satisfied with the the condition of bitcoin as the valuation of bitcoin is still not inflating and still I am not getting sufficient profit from bitcoin.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the Biggest Bubble in Human History? on: July 31, 2018, 07:00:12 AM
The market is finally showing some weakness after a wild post-election stock market run-up, and it's taking Bitcoin with it. At least so far.

Three years ago, Bitcoin was under $400, a price I thought was too high even then. As far as I'm concerned, Bitcoin has no intrinsic value and should be worth nothing. So why does anyone think it's worth thousands (and in some cases, millions) of dollars?
It's the theory of false scarcity. There are a limited number of bitcoins in the world and the usage of blockchain technology has assigned the ownership of each coin to specific wallets owned by individuals. So to take "ownership," I have to use the universal blockchain mechanism, accepted by all as valid, to transfer a coin.
There are many people around who consider bitcoin a bubble that would burst soon or a scam or a Ponzi scheme or like a chit fund company who will take all your money and flee away and I think these are the kind of bitcoin who are in against of bitcoin as they have not understood well the fate and real potential of bitcoin and this is the reason why these people continue spreading negative rumours about bitcoin and I think time will be the best answer for them when bitcoin will be declared as a central currency world wide.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EVERY TIME IS RIGHT TO BUY AND SELL on: July 31, 2018, 06:45:31 AM
Looking at how BTC is and its ability to increase, I have seen people posting all all over the forum that can I buy now, is this the right time to buy and many more. To me I think every time is the right and best time to buy BTC so we should go on and buy any amount we want to and stop all those post because when you buy now there will surely be a time to come where it will increase in price for you to enjoy it. We can buy and sell anytime and anytime is the best time. What do you think guys? Any suggestions?
We all should know that bitcoin is a volatile crypto currency and also a kind of investment so being volatile and a kind of investment, bitcoin vat keeps on showing flactuation and this is the reason why one time the valuation of bitcoin is too high and the next time the valuation deflated, so for this person need to invest wise and should be very precise while investing into bitcoin and holding your bitcoins is the most important thing while buying and selling your bitcoins and by your intelligence and wisdom you can simply make very good profit.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction cost is too high on: July 31, 2018, 06:30:13 AM
What is happening?
will it change after adjustment since the transaction cost is being affected by the crazy price rise
As we all know that bitcoin is entirely a decentralised crypto currency and being decentralised there is as such proper authentic regulating body over bitcoin who could keep eye over all illegal activities or other activities associated with bitcoin and one of such issue is high transaction fee, yes now a days people around a world, suffering the issue of high bitcoin transactions fee and what I feel is that all these issues will be sorted only when bitcoin will be declared as a central currency globally.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO AND FIAT MONEY BEST COMBINATION on: July 30, 2018, 06:31:35 PM
I bilieve that in the future crypto currency will not replace fiat money as mode of  payments in the future. Why? Because this two currency have a unique combinations that make our life more secure and convenient transactions trough offline and online transactions.

1.Crypto currency is more secure and faster transactions than fiat money via long distance and transactions like sending money around the world crypto is fast, safe and more secure then fiat money in this case fiat money is not good and slow in long distance transactions.

2.Fiat money is more faster and more easier in hand to hanp, face to face transactions and offline transactions in this setuation crypto currency is not good.

This 2 reasons why crypto currency and fiat money will be a powerfull combination in the future.
First of all my point of view regarding the crypto and the Fiat currency is entirely different, the two are incomparable as these two currencies has their own place in the economic market and they plays a very major and vital role in upliftment of the economy so I don’t think this would be right to compare them but still people are preferring crypto currencies more than the Fiat one and no doubt, crypto currencies has a always a upper hand over Fiat currency and the combination of both could be very beneficial also.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Snapchat Officially Confirmed the Ban of ICO Ads on: July 30, 2018, 06:15:24 PM
We all are aware with this thing that the population of the world has been divided into the two , one who lives bitcoin and the second one who are in against of bitcoin and I don’t understand the second category of the people that why they are not able to understand the fate and potential of bitcoin and why they hate it so much , now the social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and snapchat has also decided to ban crypto ads over their page but I come up with one more news that after the banning of crypto ads, the shares of Facebook has deflated by 5%.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Twitter Scammers on: July 30, 2018, 06:00:06 PM
Not only are the scammers doing the fake accounts that say "send .02 BTC and get triple" but apparently now they are either buying verified accounts or hacking them and changing the names and pictures to cryptocurrency people. Now it can actually be hard to tell if someone is scamming.

An example:https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/967887920991559681

Really shitty that this is happening. Be careful everyone
People call bitcoin a bubble or a scam or a chit fund company because of these people only who are doing such a negative shit with the bitcoin, like any chit fund company they will promise you to double your coins but when you pay them, they will run with all your money, I also once get scammed, one site naming, bitcointalkaccounts.com has promised me to give me a bitcoin account and when a made payment, they blocked me and didn’t gave any account so I will suggest you that be aware from all these scams and enjoy your bitcoining.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3000 Bitcoins ATM worldwide !!!! on: July 30, 2018, 05:44:43 PM
Bitcoins distributors are increasing. Indeed, the symbolic bar of the 3 000 distributors in the world has just been crossed, and there are about six new installations each day. So the situation is changing very quickly.

We all know that the valuation of bitcoin has been deflated to a very low extent and inspite of having numerous of investors and having a huge popularity and there are still many countries has legalised crypto and those nation who has legalised it are now experiencing a very boost in the development of their nation and those countries who has legalised it are also doing very efforts in promoting bitcoins like opening ATM of bitcoin and many other promoting efforts.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risks are still "stalking" Bitcoin users on: July 30, 2018, 04:25:12 PM
Risks are still "stalking" Bitcoin users
Some economists have predicted that the future value of the Bitcoin will probably fall to the bottom, which is zero. But its value can be very high, up to $ 100,000. peaked at $ 1 million. I feel very dangerous when I play in this coin market.
What do you think?

I heard a news, 2 days ago that the prices of bitcoin has started inflating again and millions of people are not again showing their trust and interest in bitcoin who has earlier lost but again now every one is feeling depression because once again the valuation of bitcoin has started deflating and no one don’t know when again the valuation is again going to inflate and moreover financial experts are now waiting to inflate the valuation again and this is a matter of interest for every bitcoiner.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: July 27, 2018, 12:24:58 PM
If that's even his name. Just read the bitcoin wiki on him and I'm amazed. Nobody knows him.

Long time passed since he last posted in here. Why? "Busy"? I don't think so. He was active when bitcoin needed support but since the slashdot...
Also, it seems has knowledge in many areas, especially economy. He doesn't act like the average human. Not taking advantage out of his creation, leaving without telling anything. Is he even a single person or a group?

How can someone create something so great and not stepping out to get the credit?
Though nobody has saw him yet and this existence is still hypothetical but according to the rumours I heard , he is the so called inventor and the owner of bitcoin, the currency which is now considered as a boon for the humanity and mankind, currency which has helped millions of people in finding their jobs and enables my kind of people to become self dependent so if once I got a chance and if he exist or alive, I would surely like to meet him once in my life to thank and honour him for his invention.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to make bitcoin a popular payment method? on: July 27, 2018, 12:08:27 PM

For something that can become a popular means of payment, you need the following:
Store of value: allowing individuals to make intemporal choices on when to spend their purchasing power
Medium of exchange: facilitating the exchange of goods and services by eliminating the inefficiencies associated with a barter economy
Unit of account: acting as a measure of value in the economic system.
Do you think the bitcoin has all three of these elements? I am looking forward to the bitcoin will become a popular payment method in the future.
We all know that bitcoin is a very huge crypto currency and has millions of people to invest in so no doubt bitcoin is a very popular and a massive crypto currency but still there are people who don’t know anything about the bitcoin and these are people who lives in remote areas and the place where there is no access to internet so for those people awareness is the option, at least they should name of the bitcoin and awareness is required to make bitcoin a popular payment method.
236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason people do not want to invest in crypto on: July 27, 2018, 11:52:09 AM
1. Blockchain has a long way to go to be a practical solution
Businesses will not miss the opportunity until the technology demonstrates its scalability. However, this can not be proven in the real world until the companies make the leap and produce a concrete result, not an experiment. Moreover, not all industries will benefit from blockchain, while other industries may face a costly and time-consuming conversion process so they choose blockchain over a network. now available.
2. Too easy to join
The real concern with a low barrier to participation is that there is no way to ensure that this technology will not become obsolete for several months. This is another reason why businesses have not implemented blockchain technology. Why invest in a blockchain while only a few months later will have a better blockchain next generation? Replacing and upgrading can be costly and time consuming.
3. Very few tangible means value of crypto.
One of the biggest misconceptions with digital currency is its mass acceptance of tokens, meaning that they are successful. Unfortunately, using a virtual currency does not necessarily generate revenue or profit for developers behind the token. Furthermore, blockchain technology tends to hold long-term potential values, not the token itself. Therefore, buying into a token that does not actually acquire ownership in the base blockchain does not make sense to the investor.
4. Tax situation is a nightmare
Investing in the crypto algorithm means that you need to track the increase and decrease in capital for each transaction. Even using your token to purchase goods and services will also serve as a taxable service, in line with the Tax Administration's tax guidelines.
There are millions of reasons that could easily make person to make his mind in investing in bitcoin but still there are lots of people who don’t find bitcoin to be much trustworthy and does not wants to invest in bitcoin and these people are the bitcoin haters and the reason behind their hatred is that the bitcoin has been commonly use in illegal activities like selling drugs, explosives and money laundering and money more and this is the reason why many people find bitcoin risky.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks to start trading crypto sooner on: July 27, 2018, 11:37:47 AM
Banks will trade cryptocurrency sooner than people think, says former JPMorgan blockchain executive. If you are thinking to buy some bitcoins, it is right time as prices will go up soon.

Source: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/18/banks-could-start-trading-crypto-soon-says-fmr-jpmorgan-executive.html

We all are aware with this condition of bitcoin that it is in lots of controversy and because of which it has gained a interests of lots of investors there, and now we can see that there are two groups in the world , one is those who hated bitcoin and the second one is those who lives bitcoin and I on the living one side but still after all this there is a huge question whether all the countries will legalise bitcoin or not, acceptance of bitcoins in the banks is the secondary thing.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much electricity does bitcoin need? on: July 27, 2018, 11:15:05 AM
Who owns the reliable information that the network bitcoin uses more than 80% of the countries separately electricity. Bitcoin also multiplied by several times the amount of energy consumed in the last year. Is this really true, who will say? So there are thoughts that bitcoin in a couple of years will be a threat to the energy situation on the planet?
There was a news that I heard that in the coming decade, bitcoin is going to use doubtthe amount of electricity, used by the entire world currently and I think this is totally useless because this is not even possible and I find this news to be completely hypothetical because the only requirement for operating bitcoin is the internet and I don’t think that internet is using that much of energy as more than required by the entire world so I find this news very irrelevant.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: July 27, 2018, 11:01:33 AM
Good afternoon. I would like to hear your opinion. I've been reading the forum sufficiently long, but I rarely write. I had one question. Why is the forum divided into 2 teams that angry with one another? The first support bitcoin and hate all altcoins. All of this for them is only garbage. Others like altcoins and do not understand what the problem have first.
I have a question for the first camp. Why?
Take for example Zilliqa, Tomocoin, NEO, DragonChain, etc. People who bought them in large quantities became richer. Why do you think this is garbage?
Bitcoin is a legend, but some altcoins are worth paying attention to, aren't they?
We all are aware with the attitude of the humanity that when something comes into the market then the entire human population gets divided into two , the one who gets happy and starts accepting that change and the another group who are in against of that change and starts criticising it and the same is happening with the bitcoin also that the entire world is divided into two groups, the one who has understood the potential and are in favour of bitcoin and those who think bitcoin is useless and is criticising it.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GOOD NEWS!!! South Korea on BITCOIN on: July 27, 2018, 10:47:08 AM
The South Korea taking their move on regulating Bitcoin.

The government’s stance and actions thus far indicate an interest in encouraging blockchain technology and the growth of cryptocurrencies, but not at the expense of safety and security. Stated one trade ministry official:

"Any major reversal in policies is unlikely, but the government seems to believe a gradual shift in attitude toward crypto-based assets is needed. What regulators should do is figure out how to regulate them properly and prudently as Korea needs to put more emphasis on blockchain technology after obtaining knowhow and understanding of the possible flipside of cryptocurrency trading."

Read the full report: https://bitcoinist.com/south-korea-moving-towards-cryptocurrency-acceptance/

Two days before I also heard the news that Brazil 🇧🇷 is in bitcoin and then the South Korea and it is very good to listen this news that now more and more countries are now getting into bitcoin and these are the countries who has understood well the real potential of bitcoin and knows the real fate of bitcoin and we all know that bitcoin is a sustainable crypto currency and it has even proved its existence so I think the time will come when all the countries will accept and legalise the bitcoin globally.
