It's never a good sign when theymos peeks outside his "caverne" and starts a thread in Scam Accusations.  Wink

That's what I was thinking. Must be serious if the admin is bringing it up.

The amount of this loan made me think it was DPony asking for a loan to pay me back.. user profile doesn't seem like it.

No one would lend it to him. Why loan someone money to pay off a loan they already can't cover?
223  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin Scammer List on: January 23, 2013, 05:02:47 AM
Problem is knowing the real names of the scammers. Employers won't be searching for their forum names, after all. I know some scammers have been outed publicly though.

No, I think the quotes speak for themselves. As do you.

Did you need to clarify that I speak for myself, or are you getting off on listening to yourself?

You're a typical ego maniac.

I know I insinuated you had ties to Bitinstant earlier. I sure hope not though. Your stupidity should render you unemployable, and no company would want you representing their PR.

You don't need to clarify that you speak for yourself. You could have clarified your order number the numerous times BitInstant customer support asked you for it. You were surprisingly resilient for someone who wanted an issue resolved Wink

Kind of hard for BitInstant to fix an order that doesn't exist.

That comment clearly has no application to this thread. Maybe you're not keeping up with the posts though.

Too busy starting a flame war.

Actually Charlie is lying.

I am? How?

It looks like my payment HAS processed though. Finally.

I'm glad that I wasn't robbed for my coins.

Which payment dude? You keep saying you have an order and were robbed. I asked you 15 times for your Order info and you did not give it to me.

You PM'd me saying you will send me an email, well where is it?

I think Bitinstant support is a joke, but the companies integrity is mostly intact through this transaction.

I wish any other buyers the best of luck and encourage you not to get too discouraged as you wait through the excessive delays.

How are we a joke? You don't even have an order with us, you just spammed this thread 10 times.

Unless you produce an Order ID or have an issue, please go away.

Charlie

I think the application is in there somewhere. You can look through it if you like.

Sometimes I wish the mods would put more effort into banning people who engage in abusive behavior.

He's only making himself look like a lunatic: why should the mods punish him when he's clearly punishing himself? Wink

I gotta side with Yankee on this one: I doubt you ever placed an order with BitInstant at this point.

Explain to me why I would be here if I had never placed an order with Bitinstant.

I think you have a personal agenda to support Bitinstant. Are you on the payroll or just kinda hanging off their collective nutsack?

What was your order number?

So you're pretty affiliated with Bitinstant if you can check any significant details from my order number. Glad we cleared that up.

Or maybe youre just an asshat and you have no idea why you want my order number but you think I might not have one so you're going to press me for it. Assuage your ego somewhere else loser.

So you're saying you don't have one then?

8. Any user blatantly claiming to be female
Then also
9. Any user blatantly claiming to be male?

Explain? Huh

There actually are females using bitcoin, but it is common practice among scammers to pretend to be females in order to receive more favorable conditions, including using it as a scapegoat for making various mistakes. (read: I'm just a helpless girl!)

To add on to this: regardless of their sex, why would anyone need to announce their gender? You don't see the males of the forum going "Can anyone lend me some BitCoin? I'm a guy, btw Tongue"

People aren't likely to announce that they're a female if they're actually a female. The ones who do are either looking for special attention or are trying to scam people because, as we all know, no male on the internet has ever talked to a woman before. Wink
234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTGox is apparently out of money... on: January 22, 2013, 04:56:23 AM
What MTGOX should do is take preorders on their withdraw process. Then take 8 months to redesign the system and push back their target complete dates multiple times.

Then troll all naysayers on the forum that disagree with them.

Josh I hope you don't get your funds until ASICs are delivered to ALL customers with preorders from BFL.
Eventually, they need to at least deliver something that blows a bunch of hot air.
They could just hire smoothie.

Smoothie uses cold frozen water...not hot air. Try again. lol

Could have fooled me.  Grin

Call PayPal and get your money back. Might as well use that ability for its legitimate purpose Tongue

Maybe some of their updated security policies will help cut down the chargeback nonsense.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoinfoundation.org - Is it worth joining? on: January 22, 2013, 02:02:56 AM
Ok, but what about the privileges, other then a sound concience?

I'm curious about this too. What benefit does it have to the members other than one vote?
238  Economy / Services / Re: Write a wikipedia article or/and make a youtube video for Tor site promotion on: January 22, 2013, 01:55:07 AM
Wikipedia is a horrible way to promote your website.. How will anyone find your article?

It's probably less for promotion and more for "legitimacy."
239  Economy / Services / Re: Write a wikipedia article or/and make a youtube video for Tor site promotion on: January 22, 2013, 01:32:10 AM
*Write an objective Wikipedia article, length like the one about Silkroad but without all the references

A wikipedia article without references? They'll just take it down.
240  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your most visited Bitcoin subforums? on: January 22, 2013, 01:22:10 AM
Probably lending, scam accusations, and legal. I know there's a place on the forum that shows your most visited subforums, but I don't remember where.
