the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger on one of these is the MXM video cards, i am still trying to figure out upgradability :/ cause tbh, with how GPU's work, it will be no different than any other miner, it will NEED to upgrade to stay viable. i would HATE to buy one of these, then VEGA drops and the possibilities open up. IF its easier to upgrade my own GPUS, ill stay with my own rigs
these are not for people who intend to upgrade them within less than a year - not sure what you expect to do with the used rx480 cards even if you did do the upgrade?

whats your gpu? chances are zcash (ZEC) mining might be the most profitable

I wouldn't really buy that cards for 100 euro. For about 150 euro you can buy RX 470 or some newer card. It's not really a problem if you mix cards in rig because older cards should still work on new drivers.
Both of them for 100e ... where i live i cannot find rx 470 under 220e . 290x ive read somewhere it hashes 320-380 sol/s Ahh i thought it was 100 euro per card. Well 100 euro for both cards is really a good deal. Your electricity price is not too high and that is the only reason I would recommend you buying these two cards because they are not power efficient compared to today's cards. Im not sure but ive found the cards will do 600-650sols total , and i will get roi in two months honestly, youll get more like 220-250Sols per r9-290x (imo this card is worth almost 100euro), and 180-220 for the 7970 (imo card is worth 40-60euro). probably 450-500Sols total

only getting ~160Sol/s from my 270x cards, likely because they are underclocked/volted from ethereum

Next 24 hrs are critical my triangle says it will tighten towards $910 for Jan 13. itll spend the remainder of the week with people making positions, and then itll pump or dump on the weekend

rx 470 4gb his (1300/2000) - 22 h/s WTF?
check the gpu speeds - ive had that where a 470 card gets stuck at 300MHz/300MHz and it only does about 20-24H/s (or ~2MH/s at ethereum), and needs to have the driver restarted

Makes me wonder if someone is trying to replicate the BTC crash of '13-14.
nobody is replicating anything... people are just greedy and if btc start to go down, they will just panic sell (as usual) people selling the top, and selling on the way down in a panic state. somewhere in the 850-920 range it will stabilize, at a hearty gain over the original $780 rally trigger. From there, the upward trend will resume and we can see $1000 in a month or two I love crypto predictions, they're like a dime a dozen and almost always wrong except for the people that happen to be right out of luck. xD fair enough. its tough to predict whether we go stagnant for months, see linear growth, or decide "lets move 30% in 3 days!"

390 the new version will catch up in speed 1070?
May be : What miner you use? damn, nice hashrate. my 1070 cards run about 380H/s on the eqm 1.0.3 miner (1.0.4 promises a small bump). Thats at 65% powerlimit though, so i suppose 420 at 100% and 465 at 122% is possible. however, better to cut down power use by 40% in exchange for only ~20% of the hashrate

any one got any stats for R9 380 would be greatfull
270x does ~150 with a bit of underclocking applied. 280/380 should be in the 200-240 range depending on power limit

pretty sure my ASUS Strix 1070 (micron) might be an RMA - after ~3months of working fine, it now crashes after a few hours of mining and I need to either reboot or force the display driver to restart.
i switched the ribbon riser to USB3 without any change. next step is to put it on a different system and see if the issue follows

ive got a gtx1070 that mines fine for about 4-6hrs, then dissapears from the system until reboot
ive reduced the clocks, switched risers, and still no change
Try nvidiaInspector -restartDisplayDriver. Clocks on default. This problem in PSU or in videocard... thanks - that brought it back without needing a reboot. Though, its obviously not the solution long-term. PSU shouldnt be the problem - its a corsair AX1200, though perhaps the molex wiring to the riser is shared with a neighboring 270x card. Honestly, im assuming its possibly an RMA issue that could be verified by putting the card in another system and running 3dmark or something like that EDIT: weirdly since resetting the display driver, its run just fine. (20+hrs)

realistically, i think $1600, then a fall to $1000 and holding that range for at least a few months

Hi Panda Sales,
Maybe too soon to ask --- when is the 4xGPU version available?
Do we have any option for a better CPU, i5 or i7?
thanks
these are best suited for larger deployment - a 4gpu version would be better as a hobby build that acts as a normal computer and/or has resale value as for cpu - these are built for the gpu, cpu mining is better suited to other ideas, like a dual-cpu board

My rx480 x 7 rigs Whats are you using for your rigs there, it looks real clean! MB, cards, PSU? boards are an MSI gaming 5 it seems, the cards are RX480 (as mentioned in the post), and the PSU is a platimax (seen in picture), probably a 1000W model

been having lot of crashing on one GPU recently (micron memory), while the other is just fine (samsung memory). seems to trigger when nicehashminer changes algos, and/or as a result of LBRY or L2r2 mining.
i see theres a new vbios that promises improvement, and reviews indicate that while the samsung can OC 800MHz or more, the micron can cause issues at OC levels half that
