221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: December 23, 2020, 10:09:13 PM
There is no single article that will answer all the questions about Bitcoin for a person who recently have heard about it. It should be a complex of - articles (the original article about Bitcoin), forums like this one, where you can find lots of answers and even to ask for help in your problematic situations, tonnes of videos on YouTube, that even can be like instructions - where it will become more clear for a newbie - how ho create a wallet, how to buy or sell satoshi or Bitcoin 🙂, how to trade and so on, and in case a person has a strong desire to learn more about the Bitcoin's nature, technical sides and so on, it will not be a great problem to understand what is it. It may appear that it is not so complicated as at seems to be.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking news: Skybridge Invested $25 million in Bitcoin on: December 23, 2020, 09:51:52 PM
After the success spending of $1.1b on Bitcoin this year 2020. Microstrategy now holds 70,470 Bitcoins. Scaramucci of skybridge credited “Michael Saylor" CEO Microstrategy for inspiring him to start his Bitcoin funds, which he invested $25million on Bitcoin recently.

Could this help the market capitalization and trigger a bullish trend? If after the next halving in 2024, do you think more companies will join the likes of Microstrategy and Skybridge to take invest on Bitcoin in a large amount?

Let us share our thoughts, Thank you.

Source: https://www.coindesk.com/scaramuccis-skybridge-invested-25m-in-new-bitcoin-fund?amp=1&__twitter_impression=true

Personally I liked this news. It looks like not ordinary investment, they do not just invest some large amount, but according to the article they build something interesting and perspective for the users and as for the statement of  Scaramucci that Skybridge is running a full bitcoin node, it shows us their serious intentions. In my opinion Bitcoin nowadays attracts attention of lots of serious investors and people who want to build something for long term. So it looks like Bitcoin is going to be a really attractive trend in the nearest future.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New way to cheat with Bitcoin! be careful on: December 23, 2020, 09:13:27 PM
Recently, I have seen various messages on social networks such as WhatsApp and Instagram that promise you a short-term profit of 400% bitcoin.
400% short-term profit and all these things are theft and be careful.

And they sell you multi-dollar packages that you can swing professionally, but all of that is a lie and a scam.
By selling these packages, these people sell very little and beginner information to newcomers to the digital world and promise them to become millionaires.

Do not trust these people and pay attention to analysis and fluctuations in the digital world.

These people want to sell you a dream.

It is a pity, but the reality is so that where the opportunity to get profit the frauds appear always. The only monent that can prevent you from this is the experience, mindfulness and cold mind. And of course lots of newbies are the first who can be caught on such ponzi schemes because of the lack of experience. Good that you shared about it in your post. May be at least some part of potential victims will pay attention to this situation. And one more thing that can be the reason why such ponzi schemes work - the greed, very often people emotionally believe that they got a great chance to get rapidly such high profit, that they are mote lucky than others.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Nakamoto address us? on: December 20, 2020, 09:28:13 PM
Many people are still skeptical about trading with bitcoin, many have some technical questions to ask about bitcoin and needs response from the founder. The energy In which people will invest in bitcoin is in direct proportion to the testimony and advice Satoshi can address  to all bitcoin users.

There are lots of criticism about bitcoin world wide that only Satoshi can defend. Why is bitcoin anonymous and decentralized? What encouragement can Satoshi give to us as bitcoin  trader/investors? We need to know the future of bitcoin through his vision?

Personally I am glad that some day Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin and brought it to us) But nevertheless I do not think that people having got the creation need any vision of the creator in order to decide what to do or not to do. Nakamoto gave us opportunity, it is our own decisions should be what to do after. Like it was with first creations like bycicle, car, electricity, microscope, computer, smartphone and so on. And of course I do not think that there are still many questions according the BTC  technology, there are so much material in the Internet that only lazy person will not find answers. But many men -many minds as they say.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 000 BTC. We did it on: December 20, 2020, 09:16:27 PM
finally it's done.at last, bitcoin become successful to cross $20k barrier.even it is very near to hit $25k which is most expected price after hit the $20k milestone.lack of money, downfall of economical Condision  makes this year worst and its totally unexpected what bitcoin already have done.but right now a lots of people blindly purchasing bitcoin, which may risky.this is not advised for them to do so.

To buy blindly, without any knowledge or analysis,  Bitcoin or some other crypto or asset is not recommended in all times, and it does not depend whether it is increasing or decreasing market. Everything shoud be act after thinking over. But you are quite right, lots of people rushed inder some emotional impulse nowadays and started to be crazy about Bitcoin again. And nevertheless there are some boom and lots of attention and emotions in the community and even in the whole world we really have got pleasant situation with rising BTC's price, a living market and community.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friday the 13th unlucky for Bitcoin too! on: December 20, 2020, 08:44:32 PM
You know it is like to blame clouds for your sad mood. Personally I do not see something strange or special in the number 13, or Friday with data 13, as well as in black cats or moonlight or whatever. In my opinion people believe in such things that they create in their heads.  The crypto world or Bitcoin lives without any connection to the spiritual or mystic things. Of course it has some its own rules, and that is all. And nothing more.

229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: December 11, 2020, 02:58:43 PM
Hey folks,

I decided to quit smoking today and buy Bitcoin every Sunday. A pack of cigarettes I smoke is 8€. It cost me 56€ per week. So every Sunday, I will buy Bitcoin without checking if the price went up or down. Even if it goes to the moon, I will keep buying. I will edit this post frequently in the future. This Sunday I will start investing 56€ in Bitcoin every  Sunday. I will keep this doing as long as possible and let's see what is going to happen.

I believe that at least I will invest in something that I believe, instead of wasting money on unhealthy cigarettes. Maybe some of you can do the same.

Wish me luck Cool

Wow, honestly, it is the greatest and yhe fascinating decision, that I have ever heard before. It would be great to read this post after some years or at least some period of time in order to see the result. Hope this topic will not disappear and you will share your results of this interesting experiment with us. Wish you really all the luck, to be firm and strong. And you know, I will tell all people that I know about your example by no doubt. It is a great motivation.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now Non-believer to Believer on: December 10, 2020, 07:52:49 PM
I was so much curious about bitcoin some years back and end up scammed up my hard earned money which make me fearful and negative towards cryptocurrencies.
But slowly i have learned a lot of things, experienced more and i'm changed and now things have changed. Now i am a hodler and very positive for the future and will always be consistent in it.BTC

In most cases the attitude in the very beginning changes after some good results or real positive examples. Personally my attitude to the crypto in whole was very ambiguous, it was hard to say that I believed in it at first glance, but after some deeper learning and communication with holders or traders I have found out the new world for myself. It was a real surprise that something like that exists. Nowadays I am engaged into crypto world and it is a part of my real life))
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pizza Hut accepts bitcoin on: December 08, 2020, 09:26:03 PM
A US based pizza chain has started accepting crypto currency as a payment method across South American nations. Burger king and Church's chicken already accepting crypto currency as a payment.

"Pizza hut nowadays cannot be detached from these technological advances and all those incorporating new approaches for daily necessities," said Richard Elkhouri, general director for venezuelan operations of pizza chain.

More than 20,000 shops around South America have been accepting crypto

So, What you guys think the government will do if people started using crypto for buying selling on a large scale as the control of system of monetary fund is going out of the hands of government.

It is a good step towards developing and rising their popularity, those who understand it, they try to implement different ways of payment suitable for clients. But in case it will be too much from the point of view of the monetary fund or some other governmental institution, so what else they can do - regulate this, may be via implementing some limitations. But in case it will be adopted by the governmental institutions it would be really great.
232  Local / Трейдеры / Re: 💰💰💰 Биржа YObit 💰💰💰 on: December 08, 2020, 09:02:52 PM

Binance 🔶 on: December 08, 2020, 08:33:02 PM
235  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to introduce Bitcoin and block to people on: December 08, 2020, 08:15:39 PM
Hello my good people in the house!

I want to understand something very crucial and important to me because it really borders me and I would love to get some guidelines on how or the best way I could Introduced some of friends to start understanding Bitcoin and blockchain. Though most times wen I made mention of blockchain and bitcoin with other currencies they seems not to understand how it's I have showed them more light but all they says is calling it scam etc, just confused. In my region most Local village don't have modern facilities and many more so whenever I speak it seems is something new to them so I m just seeking the very best way I could narrates to them.

Thanks for your kind feedback.

The best way to clarify something about new direction or project or whatever is a personal example. For example you are showing them on the monitor, how you buy some coin, or token, show them, where you can do this and how many people are ingaged there, and sfter some period of time you show again them how much you earned from that buying, for example - you may show how you cash your profit out, or how many profit bowadays you have got, what can you do with your profit. When they will see real movements, it will the best way to show what is it and how it works. Of course this example is too primitive, but I wanted to show the idea. As bloggers in YouTube do, but you will show them tet-a-tete. But in case they will be hesitating it is better to let them to make their own choice.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New troll narrative, "Running a full node will make you a criminal" on: December 08, 2020, 03:11:39 PM
I have seen encouraging signs of interest from users like Paleus, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5295984.0

The TROLLS, whether nocoiners or big blockers, probably have seen those signs too, and have started another campaign to spread FUD and disinformation.

 Roll Eyes

Personally I have never seen this person before you posted this here, and I would not become a follower of his Twitter page even after I tried to understand what his position about crypto is, read his posts. In my opinion this person just makes posts with his thoughts and that is all. I do not think that his is a big Troll or something like that. He comments about posts of different people, who wrote about stablecoins, decentralised platforms and so on, so it is just hus subjective opinion and that is sll  There are very many people of such kind who is sitting in front of their CPs and think that they are big experts. First of all people should think over by their own brains, who do so they will never pay much attention to such statements. All in all media is a great manipulator of our thoughts, so all information should be filtered very much.
237  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud - Tulip Trust addresses signed message on: December 08, 2020, 02:40:27 PM
Craig was a fraud from day one. I'm surprised that anyone really believed his words.

In my opinion sometimes people need something or someone to believe in order to fill in their thoughts with something, especially when they are not engaged. It is something like just for fun. Humans like to get bread and circuses. Personally for me it does not played a great role who that man was, is or turned out to be. Of course it is funny to read such kind of statements - I am real Satoshi and here are my proofs, and more funny when the truth is opened. But there are so many stories like that and even in case one of them appeared to be a real Satoshi, it would not have a great impact on the very very nature of the Bitcoin.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who has held bitcoin for more than 5 years? on: December 08, 2020, 02:24:45 PM
.....
Because I feel most people has sold out.
Its good to have some understanding of the trading history.
Make what you want of these reports
- July 2019: https://coinmetrics.substack.com/p/coin-metrics-state-of-the-network-cf2
- Nov 2019: https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/its-been-five-years-since-21-6-of-bitcoin-has-moved-reaching-an-all-time-high/

I still doubt that many members here would openly admit that they are still holding the bitcoins they bought at few hundred bucks or less which are now worth million/s in USD. There's also a good chance that they already left the forum or became inactive for years.

Or there is another variant - lots of people who bought Bitcoin at the very beginning, just lost their keys to wallets or their computers because of different reasons, and they can be named still like holders, but their assets are locked for them. Completely agree that too few people will answer such questions -  how many? When bought? And when and what the amount sold? - rich people prefer privacy about their finances. Assets like to be counted and silence.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: December 08, 2020, 01:37:24 PM
Lots of people who take a first glance on Bitcoin and do not have attempts to learn at least something about Bitcoin are deeply sure that ponzi and Bitcoin are synonymous. But the main characteristics of the ponzi idea is that without new income from new investors the previous investors will not get their percentages or their income. And the another one characteristics of ponzi schemes is that such things exist during too short periods and oriented on the rapid and high profit and after that such ponzi projects collapse or  disappear. Bitcoin does not fall under none of those points.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor is not Bitcoin's hero on: December 08, 2020, 01:24:44 PM

“People with billions of dollars don’t want to invest in crypto networks that support anarchists,” Saylor explained.

I asked Saylor if this was a marketing problem.

"It’s a matter of emphasis. The industry would benefit if we didn’t call Bitcoin a cryptocurrency, but a crypto asset."

As a “currency,” Bitcoin not only competes with the Treasury and the Federal Reserve, it also implies a payment network to compete with Square, Apple Pay, Alipay, and other services that are both faster and cheaper. Maybe that’s why even the venture capitalists on Sand Hill Road still struggle with Bitcoin as a technology. They see it as either a bet on the collapse of Western Civilization, or a heavily impaired PayPal.[/i]

Source https://www.btctimes.com/insight/michael-saylor-on-bitcoins-next-billion-hodlers

I am agree that lots of big investors would rather choose the traditional systems and services, but nevertheless lots of people with billions of dollars made their investments into Bitcoin, crypto projects and enormous crypto ideas of services and so on. And they doubled their assets. In my opinion it depends on personal motivation and the concrete situation. So telling that Bitcoin or crypto are for anarchists only, I would avoid such statements. The other thing is that there are lots of traditional systems and people who prefers the traditional systems and services, and they are also in the competitive strugle for existence. So it is not key moment how to name Bitcoin - assets or currency, the most important in my opinion, what are you doing with it for its developing. And many men many minds. Every opinion has the right to be.
