2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto going strong! on: May 05, 2018, 05:41:24 AM
I am happy with the current market trend, it shows that crypto market has stabilized somehow and its a sign of safe market. After 2-3 months it will be good to invest again, just wait and watch where it goes.
Crypto market will never stabilize even if the market cap reach what currently gold has, the demand-supply rule of cryptocurrency is what make it that way, there's no backup, not pegged to any fiat, that's why it will never stabilize, if you think it's currently a safe market, it's because the price is pumping and we are at a bullish market, but see until bearish market comes again.
2202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: May 05, 2018, 05:24:56 AM
In his own reddit AskMeEverything page, https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/80ow6w/im_bill_gates_cochair_of_the_bill_melinda_gates/

He answers about cryptocurrency stating
“The main feature of crypto currencies is their anonymity. I don't think this is a good thing. The Government’s ability to find money laundering and tax evasion and terrorist funding is a good thing. Right now crypto currencies are used for buying fentanyl and other drugs so it is a rare technology that has caused deaths in a fairly direct way. I think the speculative wave around ICOs and crypto currencies is super risky for those who go long.”

He isn't wrong in his sense, if the cryptocurrency is to have a future, they should be able to create an environment of trust between themselves and the authorities.

He's absolutely right about that. Indeed until the government learn how to track them in the mercenary purposes to use it are rare.
Ugh, maybe government need to learn how to track a traditional paper money that's transacted across to globe for criminal purpose such as drugs dealing, criminalities, and many bad things instead of learning to track crypto because I tell you the truth, paper money is what most used for criminal activities, bitcoin? only a really small percentage of it.
2203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buterin Will Soon Distribute the Ethereum Network on: May 04, 2018, 01:21:24 PM
Finally, by the time being, Ethereum has been largely used for so many ICO to deploy its own token therefore if the devs just let it be without significant changes, pretty sure the network won't hold and as a result network delay.
It's such a great thing, especially if it can reduce the Gas needed for each transactions too. Can't wait to see the significant change vitalik brought with all these things.
2204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can world Government Kill Crypto? on: May 04, 2018, 01:03:04 PM
I think we already saw that they able to kill crypto EASY.
Just to restrict exchanges' work and that's it + a lot of FUD
No new people in crypto and nobody wants to stay here because no possibility to get money
I think there are not so many new technology enthusiasts here
Restricting exchanges and making a lot of FUD only making crypto less valuable but NOT killing crypto, even if the price of bitcoin touches $0.01 it's still can be used to move wealth.
That means, government can't kill crypto THAT easily, if the government "really" want to kill crypto, they need to make the hashrate bitcoin has comes down to zero forever.
2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: May 04, 2018, 12:59:49 PM
Currently so many new projects use the ethereum platform, and it seems that ethereum will pass through bitcoin. But the fact is when bitcoin prices fall, the price of ethereum also falls.
The ether technical part is much more developed than bitcoin. But bitcoin will remain bitcoin, and will be the main means of saving finances. And other projects will be used for the development of the blockchain ecosystem.
It's like someone else's minds when it comes to cryprtocurrency already know that bitcoin is like gold in its world, and ethereum is more advanced things than gold but have no inflation.
Maybe there's plenty of chances that Ethereum has to overtake bitcoin's throne. also, the price correlation as you have mentioned, is a proof that people still stick to bitcoin, they are cashing out their money from ethereum when bitcoin is about to fall to avoid bearish market.
2206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite Decentralized Exchange? on: May 02, 2018, 08:13:38 AM
If you are asking how often, not so often, mainly because most of decentralized exchange have relatively low 24hours volume resulting in low liquidation, however the exchange that didnt require KYC is such an interesting point of why sometimes i still use it but only to trade unpopular coins. Etherdelta was my favorite, but it has now changed to idex, just feel the interface is better than just few lines and black background.
2207  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: May 02, 2018, 07:56:50 AM
If the prices are not stable, it would not succeed as a payment option especially among small merchants. Because it brings uncertainty to their revenue and they do not want this.
There's already exist a payment gateway to solve this problem, where when you send some amount of btc to the merchant's payment gateway wallet, your bitcoin will automatically be converted to USD by the payment gateway platform and the merchant directly receive the money in the form of dollars, this problem is not relevant anymore.
2208  Economy / Economics / Re: Cost of Living Comparison on: May 02, 2018, 07:49:03 AM
Cost of living depends on a person’s lifestyle wherever you may be.

Well that's not always the case. In certain places, you've no choice but to adjust your lifestyle depending on the economic status pf the country where you are. Sometimes the cost of living may be a bit high, but the salary you're getting compensates for the high col. So you're pretty much the one who'll need to adjust.
He maybe needs to know how expensive it's just to live in Taiwan just to rent apartment you need to spend most of the money. It's not about lifestyle, it's about the gap between rich and poor and also the cost of property that always increase overtime because land is limited but human always reproduce.
2209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: May 01, 2018, 02:03:15 PM
The only thing that make those countries banning bitcoin is the fear that their economy will be shaken by the existence of bitcoin, if the country has relatively small market capitalization and their people massly investing into bitcoin, they will have no funds left circulating as if someone invest to bitcoin, the money will be owned by somewhere else across the world, not in the same country.
2210  Economy / Economics / Re: Brazil in the process of regulation. Good or bad? on: April 30, 2018, 01:36:57 PM
Regulation is actually a good thing for bitcoin but if the implement too much of tax for bitcoin then it will affect the investors and it can't be usable in regular basis. But it will overcome the fear of banning it will leads to more investors so if they have appropriate regulation both benefit for user and the country then it is good.
The regulation sometimes making bitcoin useless, it's like the point of using blockchain system is to make everything decentralized, but the government want it to be centralized so that they can control over it and finally do whatever they want, to do that, they need to make a really tight regulation in regard to limit what people inside that region can do when using bitcoin, therefore regulation is not always good, sometimes it  have bad effect aswell.
2211  Economy / Economics / Re: Panic selling can contribute to bitcoin price going down? on: April 30, 2018, 01:34:23 PM
I need some opinion if panic selling can contribute of rapidly drop of the bitcoin price. If it is right how can we convince to the bitcoiners to not doing panic selling.
Of course it contributes to the rapidly drop of the bitcoin price,
Bitcoin price is only depending on the demand ,
The only way to stop the panic selling is by stopping the fake news to spread and it is the one causing the bitcoiners or investors to panic because of FUD.
Sometimes the real factors that cause panic selling is not fake news, bad news or anything else, lets be honest here, those to be said expert trader are always gathering mass to follow their analyzation, like there's so many trading pattern, just from my opinion, I don't really consider those thing as a real sign of bitcoin price pump and dump whatsoever but the real truth is, so many people believing that, and by the time, it become like self-fulfiling miracle.
2212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH worth buying now or wait? on: April 27, 2018, 03:10:55 PM
From.my opinion you should buy the eth now. Because the price of eth is very low as compared to it's working. The best time is right now to buy a eth.
Not really low when you compare it to the recent dip when the market showing all red, the train for buying has gone, it's now all bullish market it's a goodthing but not for those who are too late to get in.
Believe it or not, from now on ETH will always increase and keeping the yearly cycle when all cryptocurrencies going up every Q3-Q4 of the year.
2213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Can You Protect Ourselves From Scammers? on: April 27, 2018, 02:57:50 PM

Like any get-rich-quick scheme, bitcoin scams thrive on the gullibility of its victims. Just because it's a digital currency doesn't mean you can acquire wealth quickly.
Not even satoshi as the inventor of bitcoin and blockchain saying that bitcoin is a tool to gain wealth quickly, it's just the same ordinary currency but with additional advantage as for example, a tool to move wealth instantly to another people without any limitation or restriction, but using bitcoin means youre responsible of your own money, you need to take care your money by yourself and there's plenty ways to do this had already discussed here, one of them is using hardware wallet.
2214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project? on: April 27, 2018, 02:49:10 PM
The community behind a crypto project is the most important thing among others because it's like a foundation of the building, if there's none or having relatively small community then it means that the project will hardly holding on or even growing to its potential peak.
That's also why so many project are trying to build its community as big as it can even if it also means spending a lot of money.
2215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Central Bank of Iran has banned banks from making deals with cryptocurrencie on: April 26, 2018, 11:20:07 PM
I do not think that anyone is interested in what is happening in Iran. This is not a country that has the influence and importance in the world of cryptocurrencies. I think there even the Internet is only 50% of the country. Here's the news about the Bank of Spain. This is more constructive and promising.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3406024.msg35652893#msg35652893
Agree, I guess that the users of bitcoin in Iran is really low because the restriction there and the unbearable punishment of violating the law. And also, there's no single local exchange comes from iran.
Even if they do exist, I think that the market capitalization not even above 1 million dollars.
2216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC below 8459 could signal a Bear Market on: April 26, 2018, 03:55:35 PM
Actually, not going to offend anyone who don't agree with me but this kind of saying "if btc goes down below xxxx dollar then it's bearish market" is what making that bearish market really happen.
It's like self fulfilling propechy and the same thing happen to those to be said trading analyst that uses trading pattern drawing line here and there, they are indirectly influencing the market.
2217  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC? on: April 23, 2018, 09:24:05 AM
No electricity - no network bitcoin. And this is another important reason why now bitcoin is not ready to become the main world currency. It is in such cases, as it is written in your post, we say "thank God that we have the fiat money."
Perhaps in the future the technologies will achieve such development that we can exchange crypto-currencies at any time and in any situation, but now this is impossible.

yes, I am sure that in the future, when the technology grow and bitcoin is already known in all country, we can use cryptocurrencies in any conditions. and I don't think that the electricity will just stop because if it happens, then everything will stop too and we don't have any chance to see the new technology will come out and the worst, we can go back to the old times.
OP basically just asking "if" something goes wrong like the electricity gone or such, however the core of technology is electricity as you said and I dont think that theres an alternate to this, maybe we can find the alternative source of renewable electricity energy but not the alternative of electricity. If electricity is gone, it seems we'll be back to the primitive age again.
2218  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: April 23, 2018, 09:18:12 AM
I think promoting bitcoin stability is partly a matter of avoiding the alcoint crisis, major changes in cryptocurrencies activities, high inflation, and excessive volatility and alcoint markets. Instability can increase uncertainty, inhibit investment, hamper the growth of alcoint.
for your opinion.?
I think bitcoin is important to be stable because all ICO Project will never have a hesitation to conduct their ICO Project which people wanted to invest.
Even without the stable price people still conduct their ICO anyway, why? because majority of their business are in cryptocurrency field which in this case the unstability of the cryptocurrency price doesnt matter because they are working for the cryptos.
The bearish and bullish market is just an everyday thing for them.
2219  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 22, 2018, 04:02:30 PM
If btc will legalize to all country those things can happen like a prosperous society they use cashless payments and they transact a payments easily so no hassle and difficulties to pay in even if you just bought one.
Well legalizing bitcoin doesn't mean more prosperous country, it's just an ordinary currency with a  lot of advantages compared to traditional ones but not a charity organization or such. Definitely it will helps a lot on transaction and cheaper fee for anything related to financial needs but not for prosperity.
2220  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: April 22, 2018, 03:43:40 PM
Actually it is simple. The government just have to make rules about Bitcoin. What's allowed and what's not. That's how you regulate things. And if the government legalized Bitcoin, the government could get benefits from Bitcoin, such as taxes payment.

But who would want to pay those taxes and how will governments be able to collect them and control. Even with bitcoin's pseudoanonymity that is nearly impossible as you cannot alter the blockchain in any way.
It's the bitcoin users itself that will voluntarily reporting their capital gains to the government and then by that the government can tax them.
If they refuse to do so, there's also punsihment awaits and sanction aswell. It's like the government giving us a chance to tell the truth or lying.
