And game ended 8:0. This game left me sad impression. Yeah, it's fun for England to win game so easily. But in general, such results don't give good image for women football. After all, Norway isn't one of weakest teams in tournament, their level is probably above average and they have player who just few years ago was best in the world.
Tmorrow Denmark - Finland and very interesting game between one of favorites Spain and Germany.
2202  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's up with Covid and Bitcoiners? on: July 11, 2022, 08:20:40 PM
Bitcoiners like people in every society have different opinions and arguments for it. But sometimes both sides is looking ridiculous. Anti-vaxxers who blondly believe in stupid conspiracy theories, sharing videos of random wannabe doctors and so on. And vaxxers who wear masks walking in the streets or in their alone and who would like to forces everyone to get vaccinated and take every possible booster.
I have my views and it's more or less neutral. I'm vaccinated, but I don't support mandatory vaccination. For me it's crazy that people weren't allowed to live normal life without taking vaccine. Many lost jobs just because of it, weren't allowed into shops, restaurants. It's crazy how much vaccine passports divided people. And even politicians in public said that this measure wasn't made to protect people, but simply to force them to take vaccine.
I'm not against vaccines, but I think that it should be everyone's choice without forcing. For example, I'm still young without any health issues, so, covid wouldn't be big issue for me without vaccination. When I got infected, I wouldn't had even noticed it without testing. But I hat to take vaccine to get covid passport.
Boosters, most pointless thing. What's the point of booster when it barely protects from new variants? Even if protect, only for very short time. And when these new variants itself isn't that dangerous. And at one point government in my country decided that you have to take booster even if you have more than enough antibodies.
Lockdowns, I never supported it. Maybe only during first wave it was more or less needed to understand who is who. But in long term, lockdowns doesn't work. China example shows it very well.
Masks, I hate it, but probably at one point when there were no vaccines, it was needed inside or in public transport, I understand it. But when there was requirement to wear masks while walking in streets, it was most pointless and ridiculous covide related decision.
And last, people are sceptical about things said about covid by governments and politicians when they're often corrupted, lied so many times and don't keep what they promised before election.
Sorry for long rant Cheesy
2203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Belgian Jupiler league 22/23 - discussion on: July 11, 2022, 07:31:47 PM
it seems that we could get try-way fight for the title next season between these three, but as you mentioned Union, there is several teams that could build on a good start, and stay in the race until the end, to join Championship group (system is that Championship group could change everything, because teams are mostly leveled-up in points before final CG phase)
And personally I don't like their competition system at all. Why they can't have same system like all other leagues? You can lead whole seaso, but just few bad games in CG phase can ruin your whole season work.
BTW, there is less than 2 weeks remaining until new season, clubs already have played plenty of friendly games.
2204  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: July 11, 2022, 07:17:03 PM
The destroyed houses will be rebuilt, new people will be born and grow up to replace the dead, and they will speak their native language fluently (it doesn’t matter if it’s Ukrainian or Russian). Ukraine believed in itself too much, having decided to forbid the Russian-speaking residents of Donbass to speak Russian, and Ukraine will be punished for this. It does not matter how many houses will have to be destroyed and how many more people will have to be killed.
Wow, that's strong statement. You're real nazi and you just proved it with your words. Who cares about people lifes, who cares about buildings? That's russian thinking where life of people is worth nothing. Russia is making genocide in Eastern Ukraine, killing both Ukrainian and Russian speaking people. This is how they "protect" Russian speaking population of Donbas.
You're asking for denazification yourself.
2205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 10, 2022, 08:28:57 PM
No doubts Ferrari would have taken first two place if not Sainz engine failure. Sainz literally started overtake attempt when his engine stopped working. It's so disappointing for him. Well deserved win for Leclerc, even with technical issues in the end, Verstappen had no chance to reach him. And finally Ferrari didn't failed with their strategy.
What a perfromance by Schumacher. P6 and 2nd race in a row in points. So good to see him improving, while having decent car and not crashing it.
And I think that rules is sometimes unfair. Russel ruined race for Perez and got just 5 second penalty which barely affected his result.

Have you seen the Haas? they were using the new version of the Ferrari Hybrid engine and they were so fast! Ferrari will use it soon aswell
Why did they got update earlier than Ferrari?
2206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 10, 2022, 07:55:55 PM
Insert ''Stop, it's already dead'' meme. France is completely destroying Italy - 5:0 just after 1st half. It's scaryto think how much more they will score in 2nd half. I took France win at good odds, but it was difficult to see such big result coming.
Other today's game between Belgium and Iceland ended 1:1.
Tomorrow 2nd round game begins - Austria - N. Ireland and England - Norway.
2207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: July 09, 2022, 11:49:22 PM
"HIMARS" - we haven't even started yet! Smiley

They transmit from the occupied territories - the terrorists are really shocked by the work of HIMARS. The statements of a pitiful bald old man about "rest for the Russian army" are just a reaction to the work of HIMARS - they now do not know how to organize the rear of the army, because. without it, the army simply cannot fight for more than 2-3 days. Further, they become cannon fodder and targets in the dash. And as soon as information about the rear echelons appears, for some reason they all explode Smiley
What will happen when HIMARS starts working!? Smiley
Now Ukraine have HIMARS rockets with distance of about 80km and it's already working very effective, destroying occupants and their ammunition warehouses in occupied territories. Not coincidence that we have so many reports about destroyed warehouses in recent days. But there is reports (unconfirmed oficially yet) that Ukraine will get rockets with shooting range of 300km. Prepare, orcs.
2208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 09, 2022, 11:34:41 PM
Netherlands - Sweden game ended 1:1. I really enjoyed watching this game between two good level teams. Probably we won't see many such games in group stage where none of teams don't have any advantage against their opponents. Yesterday Germany left no chances for Denmark and beat them 4:0. I want to mention first goal which was scored after big Denmark defender mistake. But well, such mistakes happens in men football too Smiley.
Tomorrow we hardly predictable game between Belgium and Iceland and France - Italy. Sounds nice, but France is one of tournament favorites, unlike Italy.

Portugal will be meeting with Switzerland and imo, I think it will be a walk over for them. With five games behind them, it has been a struggle to win. Mauled 7-0 by Germany on the 24th of last month didn't seem enough for them as six days later, they go ahead to lose 4-0 to England. Their performance is not something Portugal should worry about and I'm expecting another goal harvest.
Your prediction wasn't right. Game ended 2:2 Despite poor recent results, Switzerland is a bit bigger power in women's football than Portugal. Though, Portugal today were more dangerous in attack.
2209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 09, 2022, 11:20:09 PM
Not bad sprint race after all. As I said after qualifying, Perez is going gain most positions and it happened. Solid performance from him. Schumacher defending from Hamilton was great thing to watch. It's a bit sad that Mick didn't managed to keep Lewis behind until the end and get 1 point. Ferrari fighting each other let Verstappen to win sprint comfortable. But Ferrari should decide whether to prioritise Leclerc or let Sainz to fight with him.
2210  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie with 100$ on: July 08, 2022, 08:37:55 PM
Usually I suggest to divide money into different investments. But probably $100 is too small amount for it. If I would be you, I'd go with Bitcoin, now it's good time to invest. But when it comes to investing, there is more factors involved. Question, how long you're planning to hold Bitcoin and cash out profit. You shouldn't expect for fast profit. Yeah, it's bear market, but nobody knows how long it will continue.
2211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 08, 2022, 08:23:19 PM
I was at work, so, wasn't able to watch qualification. Not surprised about results at all. Perez lap time removed probably is good thing for neutral spectators - it means that's he probably will try to make sprint actually, there is potential to gain a lot position for him. Now I watch replay of Mercedes crashes - Russel did very typical mistake in this track, while Hamilton crash looks a bit strange.
2212  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: July 08, 2022, 08:11:31 PM
This was before invasion

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1EqK4suenY

I wonder if they treat an American like that, if they would outright kill Russian
''Before invasion'' - I'll just remind that everything started not on 24th February, but 8 years ago when Russia occupied Crimea and invaded Luhanks and Donbas. So, it's nothing strange that during these years there were no warm feelings towards Russia in Ukraine and it's understandable.

Meanwhile Putin today said that he has "barely started" in Ukraine and wants to fight "the West".
Barely started, but during this ''special operation'' their losses is at least 2x bigger than during Afghan war. He is really out of reality.
2213  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Sportsbet.io's Premier League Prediction Sign-up. 0.0025 to join 0.2+ in prizes on: July 07, 2022, 11:30:16 PM
I'm in, as always! Thanks Sportsbet for sponsoring our pool again and for their generous addition to prize pot. Now 1st place prize 0.1 BTC is worth over $2100, I hope hat in the end of season it will be worth at least 2x more Cheesy.

Guess I'll have to budge and join even though we're still on superbru. PM incoming!

If we can find a better site I'd consider changing. It's a shame you can't set your own points system as I think getting the exact score should get you 5 points. That's how it used to be on the old BBC site but they closed it. Other than that Superbru is perfectly fine for me.
I'm fine with Superbru, but I have nothing against looking for other options. Agree that exact predictions should be rewarded better. I tried to look for similar websites like Superbru, but seems there is barely any good alternatives available.
2214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 07, 2022, 10:54:58 PM
As expected, Norway didn't had big problems against N. Ireland and won game 4:1. Former Ballon d’Or winner Ada Hegerberg returned to the team after 5 years absence, ended game without goals, but made an assist. While for N. Ireland, even scoring a goal is good achievement.
2 games tomorrow - Spain - Finland and Germany - Denmark. Spain is heavy favorite, while second game might be interesting.

I had no idea that England has a very strong women team, I understand Spain being the favorite here, since Barcelona femini would have a host players within the squad and they are currently one of the best female teams in the world right now. I used to think Sweden female teams to would be a good one because I follow their Swedish women league quite often too.
England indeed have strong team and IMO, their domestic league now is strongest in Europe. But I think there is some ''It's coming home'' kind of hype around this team. Spain may be seriously affected by loss of Alexia Putellas, currently best female player in the world who got ACL injury during training. They also won't have Ballon d'Or runner-up Jenni Hermoso.
2215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying 5/07/22 on: July 07, 2022, 10:34:36 PM
Damn, today in the morning I made post with some tips for Conference league qualifiers, but I simply didn't ''Post'' button. And my post didn't even got saved in drafts. Well, shit happens sometimes Cheesy. Considering that we had 26 games today, nothing strange that some had unexpected outcome. Magpies from Gibraltar (first time when I hear this team) beat Crusaders from N. Ireland 1:0. Olimpija failed to beat Differdange from Luxembourg. Tre Fiori from San Marino won against Fola away 0:1. Odds for it were @9.00
Estonian Paide made big upset in high scoring game and won 3:2 against Tbilisi Dinamo away. Other Estonian team won against SJK 1:0. Great day for Estonian football. Solid performance by Polish clubs, Pogon and Lechia won their games 4:1.
P.S. I follow UEFA cups qualifiers for very long time, but even for me there is so many teams that I hear for the first time. It's either their debut in Europe or they return to it after very long time.
2216  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: July 07, 2022, 09:17:52 AM
Ukrainians raised colors on Zmeinyi Isaland. (Rusnya = former Russia, fuck off! )

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMZ-se7IVaM&t=15s
I just quote what @be.open said about it:
Clowns are sitting in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who threw a yellow-blue rag from a helicopter onto Snake Island and cheerfully reported on raising the flag with an old photo.
It goes into collection with other his legendary quotes, like about May 9th parade in Kyiv.

Today, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the destruction of two HIMARS in Malotaranovka. I saw a video of operational control, but the quality of the recording is not very good, Russia can shoot video worse than firing high-precision missiles. But you continue to believe in the power of Western weapons.  Grin
Another Konashnenkov fairytale before sleep? It was difficult to believe in their reports since war start, but after their fake reports were debunked, they lost all credibility.
2217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Third Largest Russian Oil Firm to Launch Crypto Mining Operations on: July 06, 2022, 11:35:24 PM
So it's two Russian companies, helping each other out due to sanctions and other restrictions, huh. If Bitriver is registered in Switzerland, though, why won't Switzerland deal with it? It's an allegedly neutral state, but it's been implementing sanctions against Russia following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. I wonder why they didn't follow US regarding Bitriver and didn't sanction it.
If it weren't a state-owned company and thus something that would help finance a terrible war, it makes sense to partner up like that, and it's potentially a positive thing if it truly helps utilize the methane that would otherwise just be waste, though. Then again, it creates a link between cryptos, which is something new, and oil, which is something old and something we should abandon in the long run, so I'm not sure it's a good thing.
It's business, no emotions, just money which doesn't smells, this is why they're dealing with Russia. And as you said, Switzerland is allegedly neutral country, so, for them it's easier to do that than company from EU country for example. And in general, many foreign companies continue to operate in Russia despite war. Some are doing it through offshore companies to avoid bad publicity.
In normal occasion I wouldn't accept such news positively. After all, it's state owned company, not private one. And considering that war continues, there is nothing positive about this cooperation.
2218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: July 06, 2022, 10:48:18 PM
What a low scoring matchday. 4 goaless draws, 2 minimal 1:0 wins and one game with 3:0 results. So, 5 goals in total in 7 games. Terrible day in betting. To summarize first round, probably just 3 teams are close to the next round after 3:0 wins - Bodo/Glimt, Shkupi and Shamrock Rovers. In other pairs everything will be decided in 2nd leg.
2219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 06, 2022, 10:35:11 PM
England won opening game against Austria 1:0. I expected easier England win, Austria gave good fight. On Thursday there is one game too - Norway - Northern Ireland. Norway isn't one of tournament favorites, but they're much better team on paer than N. Ireland. I think we can expect to see big result.

I'll be checking in on this thread from time to time, there haven't been many replies so far, but perhaps people are afraid to admit they watch women's football. Tongue   I've been following women's competitions for about 20 years and still recall Birgit Prinz and the German girls dominating the Euros in the late 1990s till the mid 2010s. Competitions are not as lopsided as they once were, as there are a lot of good teams now, it is difficult to determine who is the favorite and who is not...Netherlands, Spain, Germany, England, and Sweden are the teams that stand out imo.
Germany used to be main powerhouse in Europe for almost 20 years, but it's godd that now we have more similar level teams than one leader. In general, women football made big steps forward. 20 years ago it was difficult to imagine that women football will be played in 70k crowds.
2220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: July 06, 2022, 02:56:44 PM
There is plenty of games today, one in action already, Tobol - Ferencvaros 0:0 at halftime. HJK - Riga FS, HJK is favorites here, but here I go with BTTS @1.85. Bodo/Glimt is heavy favorites against Klaksvik, but I tend to go with under 3.5 bet @1.77. Teams from Faroe islands is difficult to play, they can park effective bus and they're playing dirty football. I go with home ML in games Slovan - Dinamo Batumi and main bet is Maribor win @2.00 against Shakhtyor.

No one likes last season's conquerors of Real Madrid? Sheriff should make it at least to 3rd round, no?
Not sure about them. They have beatable opponents in their path to 3rd round, but I wouldn't be very surprised if they won't go through. I'll skip their today's game, to tricky.

I do remember. Hibernians had me fooled at first (NOT, as it turns out the same as Hibernian from Scotland).
Yeah, almost every time when I see draw of qualifiers, I laways confuse these teams. But this time Hibernians is team from Malta, not Scotland.
