The main event of this Saturday will definitely be the Manchester City v Chelsea match for sure. It is one of the crucial matches regarding the race for the lead. There is not actually a very fierce race between them for now as Manchester City are so far ahead of Chelsea like ten points. But there is an opportunity ahead of Chelsea to lower this gap. They need to play like they did against them in their last two head-to-head matches in this stadium. If they do this, they can have a serious chance for even getting a win.
Chelsea can win this match or lose but even if they can win it and reduce point difference with Manchester City, there will be lot of difficulty for them to catch Manchester City. Manchester City have many years with Pep and they are very stable with their performance so opponents have to perform more stable than Manchester City. That does not happen too often. Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in past few seasons almost failed with this mission. The Super Cup semi-final match saw El Clásico match but unfortunately, Barcelona currently do not have the ability to win. Actually, it has been competitive for the past few seasons. And this match was one of the best entertaining matches so far. 7 goals were scored and so far it was a close game. The thing is that, if Roma wants better results, they need to bring in some better players. Otherwise, blaming Mou won't fix anything.
I see Mourinho does good things for Roma. Before Mourinho, Roma had three seasons out of top 4 area and they did not play well with opponents in top 4. In this season, according to results, it's bad and not improved a lot but if we look at how Roma play against top opponents, I see some positive signals. I mean give them time and give Mourinho one more season, then we might have better overview about them and can make conclusion. Mourinho is nothing to blame he could have changed maybe something small in the tactics once he leaded 3-1 but this is football things like this happen.Italian Serie A this year is probobly the hardest one yet,we can see that 3 teams are fighting for the title and we can see that Juventus isnt in one of those teams.
That match changed too fast and 2 goals lead to equalizing for Juventus happened very fast with magnificent shots from their players. Then the last goal for Juventus came as unavoidable. Anyway, Roma had chance to make a draw which they deserve to have, but they missed a penalty. I don't protect Mourinho but do you think AC Milan and Ancelotti made terrible things after they scored 3 goals in a first half, then let Liverpool equalized in a few minutes, in Istanbul? Atletico madrid are still performing really poorly i blame simeone for that since he is still playing defense with all the quality players he posses we all seen how good they played when they were behind in the score and how much they threatened villareal team and they became close to getting the three points.
Atletico Madrid and Villareal made very interesting match with many goals and so many arguable moments. Each coach has his own philosophy so you can not require a coach to change it. If he does it, he will make thing worse, not better. Please don't ask coach like Conte, Mourinho or Simeone have to manage their teams to play aggressively attacking. Don't ask coaches like Klopp, Pep to require their players to play seriously defensive. They can make such changes but I am sure they will fail because they are not experts with such tactics so how will they bring success to their clubs? |

Inter is a sure win bet IMO but not for Roma, I would prefer to put my money on Juventus for 1x2 market but betting on BTTS is better option.
Juventus will try harder because I believe they want to keep the chance to finish on top 4 by the end of the season.
This season is a bad one for Rome teams, AS Roma and Lazio. They began this season good enough but gradually they fell down on table and it is oppositely to Juventus. After about first 10 matches with unstable form, now Juventus are becoming very stable with their performance and they are not too far to top 4. Roma and Lazio will almost not be able to compete with Atalanta, Napoli, Juventus for a position in top 4 with what they are showing. Inter Milan will try to their best to beat Lazio because AC Milan just wait for any slip of Inter Milan to take over a first position on the table. Although Juventus is not really great in attack because they have no great striker but they have Chiesa and Dybala who can score goal when Morata/Kean is not able to score goal.
I disagree because Morata and Kean can score goals, not too many but they can. However I agree that they are not good strikers for Juventus and they will have to find other better strikers in a coming summer. Max needs better strikers to build up a competitive team for fighting in both Serie A and Champions League. |

As we know, that City is the strongest club which will be a big obstacle for Chelsea to beat them just like that. The quality of Man City is already very different. So Chelsea has to really deliver something different from their previous deal which wasn't very optimal.
Manchester City have very smooth tactic from Pep last few seasons. In Premier League, only Liverpool have stability in terms of tactic like Manchester City. Pep and Klopp have been in their clubs long enough. I disagree that Manchester City is a strongest club in Premier League or the trophy is reserved for them. They can have good results but they are not club like Barcelona which dominated La Liga too easily. Against a giant club like City will not be too profitable for Chelsea. Hopefully, Chelsea can be more balanced in terms of attack. We have seen that Chelsea had a good performance in the early minutes, and in the second half, they always weakened.
Chelsea will need more time for Tuchel to adapt himself to Premier League. So far I think Tuchel does his management good enough. It is his second season and I believe he will do better in the next season for Chelsea. Tuchel is genius in tactic and he will contribute to a very interesting competition among Pep, Klopp, Tuchel and three clubs in next season. Am sorry to say this but if am going to pick a better team between the two, it has to be Arsenal. Tottenham have not been the strong team we have always known ever since the transfer rumours of kane happened and the sacking of Jose.... They still haven't recovered but a match up against an inform Arsenal, spurs stands no chance but best result for both is a draw.
Arsenal has amazing season so far and I am very surprised to see how far Arsenal and Arteta can go like this. They began this season with unknown future because there is no signal that they can have a good season. Out of all expectation, they are participating in top 4 competition and even have higher rank than Manchester United or Tottenham. In this match, I think Arsenal will have more advantage because Tottenham will not have Son because of injury. We know Son is more important for Spurs than Kane in this season. |

We call it as honeymoon and new coaches usually have honey moons in first few weeks after taking a new position. Because players will feel better with a new coach, players who spend lots of time on bench will have more motivation to fight for a position in main squad and together they help to create honey moons. Later real issues will occur again and honey moon ends and a new coach has to fix current issues in a club. I am sure it is not an easy task. The honey moon of Xavi will end one way or another, sooner or later. I really believe that Barcelona are only targeting getting in and ending the season in the top 4 because the title may no longer be expected. Manchester City dominated Premier League after they got Pep Guardiola. Klopp joined and made Liverpool stronger but in most recent seasons, Manchester City performed better than not only Liverpool but also other opponents in Premier League. They have more good players on bench than other opponents and their tactics is sustainable with Pep philosophy. PSG and Manchester City spend a lot of money to sort out their squads. But at the end of the season we do not get the expected performance from them. The goal of both teams is the Champions League. However, the context of this season is different. Both Manchester City and PSG are well positioned.
Manchester City is much more stable. They have played tremendously in the Champions League, they have also maintained their top spot in the Premier League. They are far ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea in the Premier League.
Manchester City is more stable than PSG because Pep has his solid philosophy. In PSG, coach position changed a few times recent years and tactics changed too. I see they have same power and quality but about stability as you said, Manchester City is better. Unfortunately, in Champions League, stability is not key to win the trophy. Luck, magnificent moments from star players will be keys to take trophy there. Stupid mistakes will wash out all good things. Because it is not a long run like Premier League. A further round you reach to, a higher risk of losing with a single stupid mistake. Because opponents are strong and they won't let your mistakes go in vain.
