The level at which Bayern Munich have performed this season tells it can be possible for them to still win the Bundesliga league.

Early in the season Bayern Munich was having challenge in their performance, which was an opportunity for other teams to lead the top position. After Bayern Munich returned back to a better form, it was still possible for them to top the league back again. Bayern Munich is also doing well in the Champions League, they definitely win a trophy.
Some changes in their club especially changes in formation to adapt to a departure of Lewandowski are one of reasons. Sadio Mane lost his good performance after having some first impressive matches. Later, Bayern Munich suddenly got a very good contribution from Choupo Moting. I believed that they did not expect too much from Choupo Moting at season beginning. Barcelona did not have too good system and their young players need more time. Their young midfielders are good enough but strikers are not. Ansu Fati is not good enough for that position and he is too vulnerable with injury. Xavi and Barcelona saw this issue and they take a great opportunity to convince Lewandowski to join their club. Im not sure barcelona can also do better in the europa league. The performance from barcelona in the la liga has been making me feel satisfied with its result but it's very disappointed to see barcelona fail again in the europa league for the second times. that will prove if the squad of blaugrana worthy only to compete in the domestic league and it's not in the level of a competition that higher than the domestic league. In La Liga, they have good result so far and they can continue it for a trophy fighting. I don't agree that stars in the Belgium team are too old. De Bruyne is 31, Curtois is 30, Lukaku 29... All of them are around 30 years of age and that is the time when a football player should still play at their best. Especially for the star players like the ones I mentioned. OK, Mertens is a bit old with 35 but he is one of rare players that old in the team.
Belgium has a golden generation but they did not achieve anything from them. This World Cup and Euro 2024 might be last big tournaments for this golden generation. If Belgium can not win this World Cup or the next Euro, they will likely see the end of this generation without any big title. I don't think it was just luck because Ten Hag dared to make the decision to play Garnacho in place of Martial. The match did look like it would end in a draw but the hard work done by Man United gave a sweet result. Let alone the exchange is already suspected of misappropriation of funds.
I believe FTX exchange is not an only exchange which handles customer capital inappropriately and unsafely. In the past two years, we have been witnessing many attractive programs from exchanges: staking with high Annual Percent Yields, staking with stable coins. Moreover, abundant stable coins were created in the last bull run. Around ending of a bear market, after altcoins lose 90% or more from their all time highs or previous highest price in a bull market, you can filter altcoins and find gems to buy. We don't know how stable is the Nunez perfomance, few matches before he easily got provoked and can't play well. He need to learn to control his emotion and try to become better player.
Not all players can have stable performance in a single season or longer. Messi, Ronaldo, Salah have good and bad performance time within a season and Nunez is not different. I see positive about his improvement, from bad, very bad performance which caused disappointment in their coach, team mates, fans to recent weeks when he brought happiness to them. It is a very big improvement and I appreciate his effort and strong mentality to deal with all pressure on him. Gunners increased the points gap to 5 which isn't big but reassuring for a game or two. Newcastle is making an impressive effort, they are third now, they beat up Chelsea to get to this level.
That is not good to even get one point from the match for Manchester City but a defeat and 0 point is worse. Arsenal did a great job in this week and have an increasing gap against Manchester City. These results will help Arsenal and Arteta have a little bit less pressure after the World Cup and Premier League return. They will have to use the break time by World Cup to make plans for January transfer and rest part of a season. Otherwise, Liverpool is recovering at the same time when Chelsea is getting deeper in troubles  Liverpool are recoving and Darwin Nunez slowly improves his performance in the club. I'd like to appreciate Porto's incredible effort in the Champions League on the recent weeks.
Because they started the group stage with two losses and even the one against Club Brugge was horrible. But it was such a dedication of them that they won three matches in a row recently and even secured the remaining last 16 ticket in the group. I agree that it was a great answer by them to Club Brugge by defeating them by the same score they lost to them.
They improved their performance after two loses and also received opportunities from Atletico Madrid too. Anyway, they did great efforts first before luck comes to them. Brugge is not a big club in Europe and they are not comparable to Porto. Atletico Madrid could have still maintained their claim for next round but they couldn't score that penalty. That was the end of their hopes unfortunately. They are even under the danger of not qualifying for the Europa League now.
Atletico Madrid only can blame on themselves for this ending. About quality, they have very good players and their club are very experienced in Champions League. With so many star and experienced players, they should get a first position in this group. Simeone likely gets good support from Atletico Madrid boss but he will have to improve a lot of things in rest of season. In football, nowadays, there is no life-time job for any coach. Clubs can sack their coaches anytime if results simply are too bad. They mostly don't care about past achievement of their coaches. |
