where can I buy these coins to compensate miners who worked in my pool?

There are some Coins available for sale on the alcurex exchange but only limited amounts. You may purchase some directly from the ColossusCoin Community and any money raised will go directly towards funding of future advancement.

well I like to divide my 1000 with two 500 ?, as I do not do it, the better I leave 1000 together?

Better to just leave it, it will split into two when it stakes
2243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon X13 POS Only - [Simulated POW through POS]- Get your CON on!! on: February 23, 2015, 02:01:50 PM
and how slow to mature currencies in the portfolio?

That depends on how active you are with Staking and how you manage your split and combines. PayCon grows at 30 CON per Block regardless of how many people are Staking on the network. That is about 43k CON produced per day or 15.8 Million per year so if you Staked all your Coins for a year you would likely have 500-1000% after the first year.

Currently there are 3.4 million Coins in circulation
2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon X13 POS Only - [Simulated POW through POS]- Get your CON on!! on: February 23, 2015, 01:49:16 PM
@Crestington

How do I get the best performance for staking?
For example: I buy 20000 CON on ccex.

Should I use one or several addresses in my wallet?
And how should I split the coins? Blocks of 1000 or 2000 Coins?

Cheers
s0nix

Best performance is splitting your Blocks up into 500 each and they would Stake after roughly 2-3 days. After 5 days if you have Blocks that have not Staked, Blocks under 500 Coins, in the same address, will combine together until larger than 500 Coins (plus reward) into one Block. Using multiple addresses helps to increase your anonymity but you want atleast 1-2k per address to Coins can combine with each other.

You can see an example here on the PayCon Block explorer

http://blockexperts.com/con/height/75742

If you are a bit savvy with compiling from source as well, you can also change the split and combine thresholds in the wallet.cpp file to help you split and combine your Blocks more efficiently and at a later date, user adjustable thresholds will be part of a wallet update.

We also have https://paycon.slack.com/ now which works like an instant messaging and filesharing service, it's free and you can signup with a fake email if you want, you just have to be able to use the email supplied because I would need to send an invite.

Ewwww, kinda weird seeing vlad2vlad attempting to write so positively about His Majesty's XPaYcon

Vlad has clearly been bought out by his Royal Highness one way or another.

He's gone full retard.

PayCon is already doing better than PayCoin

PayCon is up 600% over the month

PayCoin is down 80% over the month

PayCon is already worth more than PayCoin in 1 month! and that's not even including the incredible Staking power that is CON!

@Cres: send him invite pls

Yeah! sent him an invite!

We should get as many people as possible on slack, it's perfect for communicating in Cryptoland.

I also finished a bunch of backend work on the network today, new DNS-seeder and wallets will be available within 1-2 days. Won't be a huge change with a new seeder, just won't need your .conf file anymore so will definitely help all the new people get started and sync easily plus a Mac wallet for all you apple lovers out there.

http://cv2.binpool.com is back online, however their wallet does not sync ("Unable to connect to wallet RPC service: RPC call failed: Failed to connect to localhost port 61000: Connection refused"). It is like this for the several days already... Did Binpool abandoned this coin and its miners..? Who should fix this?

POW mining is over, CV2 is Proof of Stake only now.

Yes, I know. But shouldn't the pools allow miners to withdraw coins mined during the PoW, even if the PoW ended? Currently the mined coins are stuck in the Binpool, and there is no way to get them!! Is kubuminer looking on this thread? I'll remind him of this issue, in case if he doesn't look here.

Do you have links to the funds mined there? kubuminer needs to do the payouts to the people who've mined it....

What about burn coin of an ipo/ico? You are then sure issuer do not self invest. In Nxt, that would mean send coin to genesis.

The burn only really works if you could do it where it actually reduces the float rather than sending it to an unspendable address.
2249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way of initial coin distribution on: February 22, 2015, 07:19:21 PM
CLAM distro is worth looking at.

Then exchanges will get big share for free while the original owners will get nothing.

Wouldn't have to do all of it with exchanges first, you could use timelocks even. If you know what the exchange addresses are, you could even exclude them in the first round and make sure all the holders get their Coins first.

The Clams effect also means that the holders of the original Coin also keep their original keys so they aren't losing anything by participating.
2250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way of initial coin distribution on: February 22, 2015, 05:59:20 PM
I'd like to get your suggestions about the best way of initial coin distribution of a 100% Proof-of-Stake coin.

NB: Actually it's for a network-bound proof-of-work coin but from formal point of view it's the same problem. Network-bound PoW system requires a lot of explanations, let's make appearance that we are talking about PoS now, the majority is more familiar with PoS than with network-bound PoW.

Just premine the whole thing except a small portion for mining and sell/give-away at good prices for what you need for expenses.

or

You could have no premine but a longer POW period (1-3 months)

Would all depend on execution though because you want investors to make profits.

So PoW is over! But someone (CJ3rJoPzVnfkySad6udXs9ZzVYV4TBue8D - a rich wallet with about 4400000 CV2 in it, according to richlist...) is still trying to squeeze some blocks out of http://bitcrush.pw with 16 MHs..  Grin. Not sure who is that, but just a reminder to switch off the rigs Smiley

BinPool is offline for few days already Undecided... This pool doesn't seem to be reliable lately... Hope it will be back as I should have about 10000 coins left there...

The reward for POW mining also goes to 0 so even if they managed to get a Block in (which you can't because it's all being blocked anyways), you would still get no reward.

http://cv2.binpool.com is back online, however their wallet does not sync ("Unable to connect to wallet RPC service: RPC call failed: Failed to connect to localhost port 61000: Connection refused"). Side note: So it's clear that everyone on this forum used to get the shit kicked out of them growing up. I didn't even know people really waste this much time on message boards... I have the awkward feeling you get when your watching someone, they are royally screwing up and you feel embarrassed for them (is that called empathy?). At any rate,  I'm here for one reason...you morons still think that this character Mike Johnson is a real person? I'm crying right now... Two types of people in this world, people that get shit done and lexicographers (people who just use big words). Keep posting fellas, while your doing that your making room for someone out here actually doing something... like this fruitloop you are carrying on about that created a business in cryptocurrency. Shaking my head...

This is how things get done, by hanging out on message boards and talking about Coins, and working with people except that you aren't getting your opinion silenced and shadowbanned. Also, you are supposed to be a "CEO" of a company but your going to the largest Cryptocurrency Community and calling your target audience morons and fruitloops?... Smiley

Just saying....

Sharp eyes gentlemen, certainly has the stench of Homero "Josh" Garza.

Hey Josh, while you're here, why not shed some lights on these emails we have? You must've really gotten into bed with Rishab in more than one way.

How are you guys getting these all of these messages??? Remind me never to get on your bad side....

Let's just say that greed, ego and ignorance is a bad combination and also tends to make for one sloppy criminal... Not to mention, fucking over tens of thousands of people certainly makes some enemies. To put it like a Josh Garza marketing slogan, "His life will never be the same!"

Yep, you nailed it! It's me, Josh Garza, CEO of GAW just hanging out on a message boards... Feel free to bask in my presence. I'll be doing a live SKYPE session and signing autographs here at 3PM PST. Joining me will be Miley Cyrus. (I'm crying right now). Hey, while your scraping emails, rather then ignore it...take a moment to validate the connection between a Mike Johnson - Coin Fire (who's online footprint miraculously appeared Mid 2014) and Raymond Angel. Cheers! http://[Suspicious link removed]/boredCeoSittingNextToCar

Right now were getting somewhere!

It's popcorn time everyone, GAWD is here!! Oh praise the messiah!

2255  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 22, 2015, 03:28:09 PM
If PayCoin was worth $50 a Coin and their Hashstakers were generating 50,000 XPY a day then that is 2.5 Million in sell pressure they have into the market, and that's just on the low end because all the XPY compounds in the Hashstakers creating millions of XPY in which can be dumped into the market.

Why doesn't Josh just open up his real plan instead of hiding it? To me it looks like PayCoin functions like a siphon on the market whereby only a select few get all the reward at an unlimited amount whereby everyone else gets nothing. Where's this 10-30k BTC coming from? Certainly investors have not gained that much, PayCoin lost 66% in value over the last month alone.

Bter is live, time to vote again.

Oh fantastic,

I have a friend who had a decent amount of DRK stuck in there, glad to see they have it back open. I can't trade my CNY I had there yet but it's a good start, should we still look to get on BTER? Might be a bit sketchy to trade on there at all now but atleast it's not like Mintpal and there are some good Crypto groups wanting to take over it.
2257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitShares Loves Puppies on: February 22, 2015, 07:28:20 AM
OMG! That is the most vicious and underhanded anti-cat FUD I've ever seen on this forum !
It's becoming obvious that Stan (if that is indeed his name) is simply a paid shill for the shadowy 'Scooby group'.

In rebuttal, according to my exhaustive research:
If we assume that there are 30 million cats in the continental USA, and (according to Stans own figures) 300 cases of rabies, then the chance of the average cat owner being savagely disembowelled by a rabid Fluffy is one in 100,000. Which is perfectly acceptable, IMHO

If we also assume that there are, lets say, 81 dogs in the USA, then we come to the unavoidable conclusion that 100% of all dogs have rabies.
As well as fleas.
And a habit of sniffing each others arses, not that thats completely wrong.

I rest my case.

Oi, you need to understand the demographic of the relationship between the dog vs. cat rationale first there bud. If we can assume X number of Cats dwell in a home compared to dogs you can then determine what your target audience should be. Say you just want to slowly weed out all the dogs and make cats the dominant species, I guess you could mess with cats DNA and breed them with tigers. Ever hear of a Liger? It's a lion and tiger mix and as big as a saber-toothed tiger, I don't know any dog that could compete with that.
