2241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: November 22, 2017, 02:56:19 AM
I've always been one who sells to earlier, either to minimize my losses or to realize my earnings ASAP and leave. I've seen in most of my investments, if not all that if I would've just left the coins there they would've been worth 10-50x what I put in before. This is upsetting as a person and trader, as I see how much money I'm missing out on.

How do you traders do it, hold and hold and hold. Waiting around for more and more money?

I've been there and it really makes me feel worst if I'm riding those hype makers and just suddenly sold the bitcoins that I hold out of the thinking that it won't go up again. I know it's really upsetting and makes you feel bad but charge to experience. How many times do you think you've done that? In my case, I did that for so many times and by mid year of this year when I saw potential growth of bitcoin, what I do now is I just keep on holding and holding.

It's not that hard, the moral aspect of the situation is important. Everything goes on in our brain. If we can control our brain, we can make ourselves be ready for holdin, selling, trading, mining. Anything you want. Saying this as a holder.

How can you control your brain? I've seen many people that are keep on saying that "control yourself" , "control your emotion" and now "control your brain". In reality, when you are in the situation of you are witnessing in front of your eyes that the coin you are holding is dumping, you can't the pressure. You will think about only your losses and will forget about the long term plans that you have set.
quite true mate its really hard to do dealing with your emotions, especially when you are witnessing the event, that's the reason we needed to have
enough knowledge with the current situations, so when the trend is falling and we are knowledgeable enough that it will just a temporary movement
then we can skip that first and leave it as we knew that it will bounce back and gains will be ours.

Dealing with emotion is the hardest battle that we can be with. If you know the sayings about the hardest enemy is ourselves. Overcoming the fear of holding is one of my weakness before and I can say even up until now. I used to be a weak hand but I'm doing my best just to keep on selling at the peak and gain some profits. But if you do really want to overcome holding one thing you can do is set an amount on what's your preferable gain price for bitcoin or altcoin you hold.
2242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherWallet on: November 22, 2017, 02:31:49 AM
Myetherwallet is safe but the users aren't safe from the attackers and phishers and this is what we should be aware of. The fault of these hacks also lies to our carelessness, at the main and real website of myetherwallet says that we should be careful from MEW-lookalike website.
WARNING: IF YOU CLICK A LINK to MEW from EMAIL, SLACK DM, or a FORUM, YOU WILL HAVE YOUR COINS STOLEN. Do not click.
They had warned us and they are no longer accountable if something happens to our funds for not securing ourselves. MEW is now popular so hackers, phishers will target them. I still trust MEW.
2243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2017, 02:16:08 AM
The biggest risk IMO is losing the keys to your wallets somehow. Then all your coins are unrecoverable and you lose 100%.

This is one of the risk if you don't know how to store your private keys. What you have to do is write it down on a simple plain paper and you have to store it somewhere or stick it to the wall where it can't be reached by a kid that can possibly rip it off. Also don't write it down on the internet as bitcoin is now popular and it can possibly be hacked if you are careless of websites that you are visiting and you keep on clicking and inputting your information without thinking if the website you are with is a phishing link.
2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Altcoin on: November 22, 2017, 01:57:26 AM
Bitcoin could ends this year at 10k/BTC or more. Alt will be good buy for now for the holders and long-term for at least x5 or more in 2018.

I think we will see 10k this year indeed. And alts will see new all time high's, but only the good alts.. Wink

There's still ample time to see bitcoin at $10,000 for this year. And we will have an assumption when CME starts to offer bitcoin futures. With the increase of bitcoin, the most affected ones are the altcoins. The market will be on opposite way with by balancing it that way. Investments from altcoins will go to bitcoin as these holders still see a good opportunity in bitcoin while bitcoin profit takers will take the advantage of buying these altcoins while it is on opposite chart with bitcoin.
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is King on: November 21, 2017, 05:56:01 AM

How many you are holding? If I were you I'll be gladly selling that for now and will convert it to bitcoin. Bitcoin cash has been there awhile and with it's fast increase to it's value still bitcoin will be the king. I doubt it that bitcoin cash will be successful of taking over or replacing bitcoin as the true one. By the way, why are we keep on talking with this thing, bitcoin did reached $8,000 and now ready to get up to $9,000 > $10,000.

As others are saying, Myetherwallet for ethereum and erc 20 tokens but this has been attacked by many phishers so be careful when you are trying to search them through search engines. And coinomi too is a good wallet that is supporting bitcoin and many alt coins visit their website to know what are supported coins https://coinomi.com/ so by combining these two wallets you can have almost every coin that you want to store, trade and sell.

this is national language. Please don't spam on here with your local language. It's so annoying and people can't understand what you mean.
Just press the report to moderator button when you see again like this posts.

But which purse for the etherium is offline, which would integrate the MEW and support the ERC-20 tokens?
This will help you https://tokenmarket.net/what-is/ethereum-token-wallets/

I've been using Myetherwallet for so long and still no issues that I experienced regarding the wallet. But I noticed the increase of victims because of phishing links, just beware and be careful when visiting them. Bookmark them for more safety.
2253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Real Estate and Bitcoin on: November 20, 2017, 01:04:07 PM
If you're interested in investing in commercial real estate - we will be accepting bitcoin soon at our fund. Check us out at twinrockpartners dot com
I checked your website and it looks like you are a legit company that will start accepting bitcoin soon.

Well i've even seen an ico that deals with real estate and have raised quite an amount already. Goes to show that people are open to this aspect of crypto and i see this as a positive thing actually.

They are not going to work that way, look and understand on what they are saying. They will accept bitcoin for their real estate if you want to avail.

2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH or LTC long term? on: November 18, 2017, 10:46:56 AM
Good for long term? simply both of them. But if only one of them to choose, I won't let myself being manipulated by the Chinese. They control the market of LTC but not ETH. I'll go with Ethereum, this is better than any other altcoin in the market. Next to bitcoin and has a lot of good track when it comes to innovation and it's developer is very active interacting with the market. Our money is worth to invest with Ethereum.
2257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: November 18, 2017, 10:34:52 AM
If I have a fixed income such as salary, I will spend about 30% to trade. Salary can't make me rich, but trading can.
Nice choice, instead of saving that to the bank and let the bank earn with your money it's better to invest into bitcoin or buy an altcoin of your choice. But the bad thing is you don't have a fixed salary, what I do is giving 5%-10% at the end of the month and that goes for buying bitcoin. I focus on buying bitcoin only but if there are chances that I might see some cheaper coin, I'll buy it like ETH but only when it's on red days.

Bitcoin is on the moon and
it will leave moon for more expedition

I have to jump on that expetidition too

Are you ready now boys? Bitcoin is surely not going to do any stop over soon. It's been prepared for rocketing up to the moon. And where have you been with your expedition? Did you jumped with some alt coins out there and did rode the pump of it? Forget that hype of that coin and get back to bitcoin, it has been said that we will be skyrocketing at any moment now. There is no need to rush but for now there's no other thing that we have to do but to keep on holding.
