Should've given us a try Wink

2264  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Tigerdirect is now accepting bitcoin!!! on: January 31, 2014, 12:12:02 AM
What's worse, I knew Tiger might not be all that fantastic at handling Bitcoin orders so I specifically contacted a support rep yesterday who assured me it would be here today as promised.  Today I learned that was BS and it still has not been processed, claiming they are still waiting on my payment.  I ordered Next Day shipping hoping these would be here now.

I'm rather pissed, and it's after hours already so I'll have to contact support tomorrow again to make sure they pull their head out of their ass and ship the damned cards I ordered.

They also appear to have overcharged me on the taxes according to the confirmation email I received.

So now I'm out almost 5 days of mining minimum because they don't know how to look up an invoice.

 Angry

*Supposedly a manager is scheduled to call me within 24-48 hours and I was supposed to get a notice from another rep regarding the overcharge.  Neither has occurred yet.

Im sorry you had to go through all this... Sad
2265  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Tigerdirect is now accepting bitcoin!!! on: January 30, 2014, 10:39:27 PM
Well, so far they have royally F-ed up my order, and it's proving to be quite the pain in the ass.  Should've sent the funds to Bitpay and gone to their physical store...support techs say they have to confirm I paid...which I did two days ago for an order that should have been here today, but they have yet to ship.

 Huh Angry

I ordered some headphones and they arrived on time. I didn't have any issues. I hope that you will get whatever you ordered soon! Smiley

2268  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Introducing nahtnam.com on: January 30, 2014, 06:05:08 PM
The site has the feel of CoinBase.

Its based 1/2 on coinbase and 1/2 on a theme.
2269  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Introducing nahtnam.com on: January 30, 2014, 06:10:02 AM
The site is being ddosed a little. It goes down for about a half hour and then comes back up. Sorry about that! Sad

2272  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MiniFaucet Script (a MyFaucet replacement) on: January 27, 2014, 06:18:31 AM
I am going to get this script redesigned for me.Looking to hire someone at SEOClerks. What customizations you suggest to this basic design and how much should developer charge?

Mainly update the gui. I think a reasonable price for just UI would be around 0.05BTC
2273  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MiniFaucet Script (a MyFaucet replacement) on: January 27, 2014, 04:20:40 AM
Is it profitable to start BTC faucet when monetized with a-ads/Coinurl and properly advertised?

Probably not. With my faucet that has no withdraw limits, I made no money. Well I didnt intend to in the first place. I expected the advertising to pay for the faucet but I ended up putting money out of my own pocket.
I wish to know how much satoshi(xxx-xxx) you were offering every hour that you end up losing and which ad-networks you were using.

I offered 0.00001 every 30 minutes without a limit. Basically the money gets instantly sent to your coinbase account. There is no need to accumulate a certain balance before withdrawing. It was custom made. It was paid by donations and advertising and I got 0.06 in total but gave away around 0.15...
That means you paid 1000 satoshi every 30 min? That was quite a lot.I am thinking to offer 50-500 satoshi every 60 mins like freebitco.in does. What ad networks you used?

I used bitads, and this was when bitcoin was worth 100... In my new faucet which I am making, I plan on giving 0.000001 with the option of a multiplier. Also I will probably make the first faucet request 0.000005...

okay.

They decided to locate and fix as many bugs as possible before launching it.

Even if this works, it will likely get into many issues as they are copying code from others without their consent.

What makes you think CoinMart are copying code ?

Did you not read the OP and the first page?
