The issue I seem to remember with the later Tandys were they cost a shitload and their latest model that I remember looking at at the time still had CGA so you had to do a EGA upgrade on it right out of the box. Was that the T1000 (Cyberdyne model)  Funny you have MFMs around, I made a living off of converting MFM's to RLL's, can't remember how many st-225's I converted to st-238's. I remember having to goto Ms-dos from cpm for games on my Zenith 5150 back then. I'd love to have that old system now just for the gold recovery, That whole board was gold including all the trace lines! yup still have my ST225 that i bought a RLL controller card for (came with a MFM controller).. took the ST-225 in MFM mode from 20mb to 30 mb in RLL mode or something like that. presto instant 30% increase. had an paradise EGA card in my IBM XT, kinda funny the card had 1 meg memory and the computer itself only had 640k. (going from memory on some of those numbers) but yeah tossed in an AST 6 pack card for expanded memory and persistent time/date, an original soundblaster with 4 watts speaker level outputs and a rotary volume control in the slot plate, no amp needed. some of the best games i can remember were on that IBM XT and later an AT. wing commander, mech warrior II.. man until doom and later GL quake nothing could touch those early games for me. edit still buying 30 dollar chunks I used to love starflight/art of war and a ton of others I can't recall anymore. I remember being blown away when I found I could hack the palette on the cga. And upgraded to evga just for warlords. Me and a buddy spent untold hours on warlords and I still to this day spark up a game of warlords 4. A few years ago we still had 4 guys playing warlords 4 pbem. I should get int ouch and get another game going. Yeah Wing commander was the shit but they really killed it with those crappy story lines and linear play. IIRC I got the Evga card from Zenith/heathkit store for like $150 and it might have been a paradise but my memory is faded there. |

I dropped a hammer on the tile and have been too busy (lets call it busy because I hate to admit to being lazy!) and was soaked after a shower and just slipped right into the sharp edge dammit.

Shiat! If you need stitches, help yourself with some superglue (cyanacrylate). It hurts, but it stitches cuts pretty good. So you can go to the doc without bleeding over your car's carpet. Better stop the bleeding first, makes it a quick job. Hah, nothing major but the clear tape I tried didn't quit work out and I had to leave a nice trail through the house while rooting for band aids.  I had a kid trip on a grinder cord once when I was cutting a transmission cross memeber off under a car and he hooked the cord and the thing wrapped into my arm (elbow) and was stuck on spinning digging a nice hole while I yelled for someone to unplug it and I popped duct tape on it and finished the day off. That was 35 or so years ago and I still have a 4 inch 1/2 wide scar on my arm from it. Duct tape fixes everything! |

Yep, that's how it works. The productivity of the players in your "Starting Lineup" will result in fantasy points. It's a good idea to look at the projected points, but don't treat them as gospel as they can often be wrong. Try to consider the opponent and how they may try to minimize the impact of your top-flight receiver, for example.
Also here is a tip that will serve you well in fantasy. Take Revenge games into account! |

cant help but laugh at the "connect to the internet.. in MINUTES!" and today my main gear stays connected 24/7 lol my external usr 56k couldnt ever manage full speed (crap POTS) but even 33.6 was magnitudes better than my 1st 300 baud for my c64, and later a 14.4 that you cradled the handset on the acoustic coupler. my tandy model 4P (Z80 cpu, 2x 5.25 floppies, 128 megs kilobytes ram bank switched) had a 1200 built in, as well as my tandy 100 "laptop" with its 300 baud <- that thing rocked, keyboard is still better than prolly 90% of the keyboards on anything today, laptop or desktop. excepting the original IBM keyboards. freakin tanks those things (they weigh more than some entire modern computers) and i still have a couple. retro build here i come 5.25 MFM hard drives for the win! well perhaps not but still.. ^ But the spotlight has always been pointed at BTC... To a fault. Everytime some of these whales decide to sell down BTC, prolly to shake off weak hands, it drags the whole market down with it. This should change. A flippening should happen between BTC and ETH, taking the whole alt market up. So if some people want to sell down BTC, it can go down alone.
A flippening for a pre-mined shitcoin doomed to centralization from the decentralized leader by far would not be something to celebrate IMHO... But different folks have different opinions on this, obviously. Don't forget Mutable! |

That was me. I think it was many rounds after you got the old man. My primary is Lamar. I don't know how much sense it makes to have a backup QB but we'll see. Hehehe okay. I liked my pick on Brady, however, after some rounds I remembered Manny Pacquiao. I thought that there might be a possbility of his decline this season. My first choice was for a reserve was Trevor Lawrence, second choice Stafford. Stafford might have a good year for fantasy according to experts.No, you should absolutely drop Stafford, he's horrible and doesn't have a chance on the Rams. Hell he's got all those shitty receivers and such a weak O-line I don't know why anyone drafted him.  According the NFL expert Stephen A. Smith, he said that Stafford will be good with the Rams and he also said that Stafford has better players around him than what he had in Detroit. His words and enthusiasm made it appear that he is a must have.Haha, I'm busting your balls kiddo! He should be fine. But I don't expect them in the Superbowl, thats for sure. |
