The core group that we have here seems to be some pretty level headed guys and the occasional woman, but we have on occasion had some people who tried to demand certain things a month or so back, but that is very mild compared to what real success will bring, just beware of what can and probably will happen if Nutcoin becomes a success.

Then as soon as the development team could get the pools coordinated on the correct chain, a flash would happen again. These events began looking less and less like a coincidence after the 3rd or 4th time. Regarding orphans, xminer's approach is best. Please take the steps he recommended to ameliorate your issues. Members of the development team have been getting confirmed stake through the night, with only a few orphans. But the orphans appear to be caused by instability in difficulty.

Regarding premine questions, we will present proof of what we have in the wallet, as soon as we the project manager has time to make a report. However, the summary on the OP accurately reflects what we have spent. Also, we are preparing an analysis of the mining data of the block chain to show that ending PoW early will not significantly effect the size of the premine as a fraction of the total money suply. The reason is that most blocks currently being minted come from PoS. This fraction will only increase as the block rewards decrease and the network stake grows.

i think your idea is nice however a revival procedure is already in progress.

you may help out on certain issues of the coin but a complete re-release of the wallet on github is something we wont allow and is not needed ( except for the heartbleed for which we have an update ).

the original developer ( me ) is not gone. you can see it like i am having a holiday currently ( as is stated on the original website ).

in a couple of weeks i will be back.

the problem is not coin software etc. the problem is sell walls and marketing + additional services need to be revived ( p2pool software, foundation and multibit, android ).

if you can help with these, sure, go ahead.. i can even provide you with problem descriptions and what i have done so far.

Honestly, I'm not much into leafcoin, but if something had some issues, problems or simply died or was left alone, then why bother? There is plenty of other coins which are rather better atm. Good luck anyway and thx for the initiative!

As you may have noticed EBT has been under attack for the last few weeks. These attacks have been traced back to hashing spikes that are greatly disproportionate relative to the difficulty. In order to address these attacks the EBT Team has decided to end POW at the next halving. At block 400000 there will be 0 block rewards for POW blocks, effectively negating attacks. This will reduce the coin supply to an estimated: 157,648,686 total EBT down from the original 250,000,000 EBT originally slated for minting. Along with this change, the new QT will feature several improvements.
