As you may have noticed EBT has been under attack for the last few weeks. These attacks have been traced back to hashing spikes that are greatly disproportionate relative to the difficulty. In order to address these attacks the EBT Team has decided to end POW at the next halving. At block 400000 there will be 0 block rewards for POW blocks, effectively negating attacks. This will reduce the coin supply to an estimated: 157,648,686 total EBT down from the original 250,000,000 EBT originally slated for minting. Along with this change, the new QT will feature several improvements.

1. Coin Control
2. Cosmetic changes
3. Unlock button for POS minting located on the overview page

The EBT Team thanks all of you for your ongoing support. We look forward to the positive effect we believe these changes will have. As always we love to hear your feedback and appreciate your input. poloniex is possibly on a fork, withdrew EBT and never show up in the wallet. Wait for withdrawing until polo sorted this out.

What about EuropEX?  Noticing small buy increases but little volume.  Hope they're on the same page as the miners.  Are changes being communicated with the exchanges as well?

Wish we had tandem mobile wallets to go along with desktops.  Need to leave my pc for 14 hours and that's a long time to not have access to my EBT wallet when something like this is going on.

I'm having difficulty understanding how miners doing what they are supposed to do (mine blocks) is an attack?

I'm getting a bit upset now.  I downloaded and installed the new wallet and am solo mining.  I just watched a block get mined and accepted, then disappeared before my eyes.  No record in the transaction list.  7:05 EST.

What is going on?

I only have 1200 khash and don't want to waste my time.  Am I wasting my time?
