2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ALTCOIN would you go ALL IN on? on: March 07, 2018, 07:19:24 AM
Still stick to ETH if it's about alt coins, there's so damn many project out there using their smart contract while atheneum's competitor have nowhere reached that huge real world adoption of the smart contract or platform. However going all in into an alt coin is definitely not a wise choice.
To be real, would still diversify my portfolio but still we're discussing about the main question right. XLM in my opinion is well, not that interesting, but still have the potential to skyrocket. At least unlike ripple which always stick at its rate range.
2262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM AIRDROP | BEWARE ! on: March 02, 2018, 02:45:08 PM
I think that there is no best method to know wheter an AIRDROP is a SCAM. But the best way to avoid being scam by it is not to invest on it. I have joined a lot of Airdrops but if it requires an amount of donation i always turn it down. Because what i know about Airdrops is that it is for free.

Airdrop generally never attract someone else to invest mainly because it was made out of thin air and released by anonymous people. Only people who buying it through exchange can be considered as investor and most of people get the airdrop for free.
Even though I'm still confused why people are still buying this crap coin but it's simply better to get out from this kind of airdrop, it may have intention as for example to steal your sensitive data.
2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest or bounty? on: March 02, 2018, 02:39:18 PM
Investing is what rich people doing, just like what warren buffet said, you will work until you die if you still can't earn money when you're sleeping, bounty means hard labour and investing means earning profit by spending some of your money into the right place.
If I were given that much money to invest, I'll definitely trying to invest into some promising project, then just wait for it till grow bigger. Well at least that's my dream.
2264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you guys think?? on: March 02, 2018, 09:02:36 AM
There's no obvious answer to this but seeing the cycle of bitcoin's growth over many years it's more likely to be like that but whether it could occur in march or mid of this year, who knows.
But I guess, after all the bad things that making the market becoming worse and full of panic and fears. Guess it's the time for so many people to restore their trust to btc and make it grow again, also some experts even predicted that bitcoin could go up +300%
2265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts are Bleeding What To Do? on: March 02, 2018, 08:58:19 AM
and if the altcoin bleeding again, I think we have two option to save our money which is we can cutloss which is not good for our money or we can still hold the coin until the price is back to increase again. it is your choice and I hope you calculate how much your lost before you decide to cut loss the coin you have. always think before selling even if you are going to cut loss and don't panic if the price is down too far. but I suggest to you to still hold the coin.
Every I read someone saying cutloss, well, it remembers me of wise word, when you sell that means you lose, that's what people often said here regarding trading or bagholding in cryptocurrencies but guess that it's not really true as a whole
If alts bleeding there's two obvious option which is bag holding or cutloss, and whether you know it or not, by doing cutloss you also making the dump to the altcoins even deeper.
2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do u follow what politicians say about cryptocurrency? on: February 28, 2018, 10:52:44 PM
Don't blindly follow media, politicians, influencers, crypto youtubers. The majority of the info you get from these sources are outdated and noisy. Do your own research is the best way to get info about crypto.
It's for sure, you need to be able to analyze information, this is a very valuable skill. Lately, a lot of news has appeared, which later turned out to be fiction and untruth, but which strongly influenced the crypto currency market.
This kind of fake news usually have little to no effect to the whole cryptocurrencies market mainly because people won't simply trust a fake news out of thin air without reliable source but a mistake that accidentally created "fake" news like what korean have done did really affected the whole market until they make further announcement regarding this matter and reversed what they've said and finally stating that they're not banning cryptocurrencies but instead tighten the regulation existed.
2267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: February 28, 2018, 02:58:47 PM
Explaining to them that crypto is a legit thing, well, I might do that, for the sake of my own safety of being accused as a scammers ofcourse, but encouraging them to get involved into cryptocurrencies, might think for this twice, it's a unnecessary action to do though so why I need to, but however if they tell me that they're really interested into this thing, then why not.

I don't do this. I'm not talking about crypto currencies. Because if they lose money they blame me. I don't convince anyone.

Exactly what I avoid right now, instead of being someone who blamed, just keep it silent and everything will be normal.
2268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple (XRP) ever go back to $3 again? Can it recover? on: February 28, 2018, 02:43:05 PM
LOL this is like asking an obvious thing, what a centralized blockchain coin can't do when there's someone have the authorities over the coins lol, much manipulation and much bankers.
If those bunch of people decides a pump time, then it is, so, just wait till the time.
2269  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: February 27, 2018, 09:24:15 AM
because with invest in ICO, we can make the biggest profit in the future but this does not always work for us especially if we cannot choose a good ICO. there are too many ICO right now and sometimes it makes us confuse to choose but if we can read all details about each of ICO and we can get some guidance, then I think we can find one or two ICO that will bring a good profit in the future. and we can also invest a big money if the project is really good enough and could give a good proof that will get success in a long run.
The number of ICOs has grown so much that they started using very similar names. Recently I came across two projects that have almost identical names, these are Morpheus Network and Morpheus Labs. It seems to me that almost identical names are used to confuse potential investors.  Cheesy
Guess that some of them will eventually rebranding their project's name. Also not only the name of the project that's sometimes seems so similar but also the ticker. Some of project even need to change the ticker before releasing the ERC20 token because it's already taken by someone else.
Just this reflect how much the ICO market has grown and it's really a hell of a growth.
2270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: February 26, 2018, 02:22:25 PM
If an airdrop asks me for KYC documents, I nope right out of there.

All of the bounties I've done don't ask for KYC documents either, mainly because my earnings were on the medium side. I think for most ICOs, they only KYC large investors.
Despite the risk of being exposed or being stolen the data and sold to someone else in the dark net, the reward we may get from joining an airdrop simply too little. too much risk we must face for few dollars of reward.
Even if I were paid for $1000 to give up my data, I won't do that. So be careful guys. Someone might take advantage of this thing and you'll probably get yourself into a condition that's bad.
2271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why don't ICOs accept fiat? on: February 26, 2018, 07:35:03 AM
Quote
I've been researching ICOs and I'm wondering why no ICOs appear to accept fiat?
Actually there is, for example, BAR, and many more.
Quote
I understand credit cards have the issue of chargebacks, but since an ICO often distributes the coins at a later date, they could presumably issue the coins after the chargeback period has ended.

They could also accept checks, bank wires, transfers, Zelle, etc.

Since many people don't have access to cryptos, I would think accepting fiat would increases the chances of success for their ICO.

I'm assuming it must involve legal reasons such as upsetting the Securities and Exchange Commission, or the potential of being classified as a money service business (MSB) since changing fiat for crypto could put you in that category.

Since many ICOs appear to be either scams or little more than concepts with little chance of success, perhaps it's also to prevent burned investors from taking legal action later if the project fails, since they traded one token without intrinsic value for another token without intrinsic value instead of cash, thereby making a lawsuit more difficult in claiming damages, etc.

Is there anything I'm missing?
Maybe legal reason is the strong factor here and also moving a big funds could be easily done through crypto while through traditional banking system it'll seem that you need to go more implicated steps to did it.
Talking about the legal action if project fails, you still have the chance to report anyone else involved if something goes wrong.
But just wait for ICO 2.0 and we'll see something new.
2272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICOs Exist In 2 Years? on: February 26, 2018, 07:31:42 AM
Yes mate, as long as there are legit icos and many buyers of good ico. Ico will not die. But the disadvantages of fake and scams icos are not good to cryptocurrencies.
Even kickstarter still exists despite the amount of scammers and fake project they have went through. Maybe ICO will do the same or if not close to what kickstarter have through. Hopefully it'll still hold very long, if you can see right now ICO holders are coming from so many countries around the world competing to offer their best idea and realizing it.
Howver, my analyzation above can't be guaranteed, whether ICO will still be exist or not, more likely depending on how cryptocurrencies still alive.
2273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 4 main reasons why ICO projects are not trusted on: February 26, 2018, 07:27:02 AM
Reviewing ICO projects is becoming a challenge because we have tens of them per week with their crowdsales starting. Some projects are making investors life harder because their websites ar not explaining how real they are and what they are really doing: using hype around cryptocurrency or trying to do the project.

The reasons why ICO teams are not trusted:
1. They have not links to social profiles of their members on facebook or linkedin.
2. There is no dedicated person that answers emails or in social media.
3. Communication is not personalized. You chat or email with a person with no name or a name you can not check is true.
4. You have to wait several days to get the answer from the team.
this is my solution, ignore the ico project that does not include their linkedn link, simple.
Linkedin really seem can be faked though. Someone else might link their scammy ICO project to someone else's profile unbeknown by the real owners, this case has been happened in several ocassions.
Just be sure to check everything up, also see whether there's live interview with the developer team, if there's not, you're putting your money in an untrusted team.
2274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin lower than $6000? Is it possible? on: February 25, 2018, 04:05:04 AM
Is it possible that Bitcoin falls lower than $6000!
Which is the level of 31 Oct 2017!
Anything is possible in the crypto world. Bitcoin going down to $6K is very much possible because of the FUD created by the negatives news by the media. It may even dip lower if the negative news continue. The good thing now with bitcoin, it is now bouncing back and become more stable.
Actually that doesn't really matter if you have faith on using bitcoin replacing your fiat for daily needs, even if the price to USD is decreasing, the amount of bitcoin you owns still the same. Just people still got prisoned into the reality that fiat is more important than bitcoin nowadays making speculative investment coming to bitcoin. Therefore, bitcoin exist just to be a profit tool for so many people.
$6K is easy if there's so many panic selling caused by newcomers or new adopters.
2275  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is recovering? on: February 15, 2018, 11:27:58 PM
Not a good year to start. It is so irritating to see from 19k drop down to 7k. Now it is starting to get recover from its downfall. Let see it out with ourselves on what would the possible outcome in the next few months. Hoping that it will come back again.
No one was happy when that happened but it is understandable it was impossible the market could sustain the price for much longer do not forget the price tends to do that, 20k for each bitcoin was too much but 6k was too little that is why we are slowly seeing a correction of that and now we are above 10k I think a more fair price for bitcoin will be something like 11k or 12k.
Even some people here and experts said that 20k price for bitcoin is still undervalued, if the adoption reached hundred millions of people while the total supply remains the same, 20k seems just too cheap for the whole world.
Bitcoin is not undividable that making it not affordable for many people but it's dividable. Whether the price could just go $1 million, we still be able to buy small portion of it.
However the only problem is with the fee, could get ridiculously high but let see how the implementation of lightning network could do.
2276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic sellers are once again hating themselves on: February 15, 2018, 11:10:59 PM
I think most people who panic sold also bought above 15k. Lot of newbies have come into crypto with high hopes, they have immediatly gone trough some of the most severe crashes in crypto, personally this was my first major crash aswell but since I came in exactly when China FUD happened I didn't let it bother me that much.

TIP:

Dollar cost average in, you're less focused on the price that way and don't have the headaches of the wild swings that BTC goes trough. That is ofcourse if you believe it will go up longterm
Exactly, so many new comers that make bitcoin could hits new ATH, also at the same time, the rocket running out of fuel because people taking their buy orders right away after the Korean fud and Chinese new year. But, those newcomers didn't know about the every year's cycle of dumping so they're really scared and trying to cut lose their investment because they afraid that bitcoin could turn into nothing but ended up missed the train miserably.
Can't blame them though, panic selling mainly affected by psychology, it's better to get off the trading activities when they could easily be depressed by doing that.
2277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: European Central Bank: It is not our job to Regulate Bitcoin on: February 15, 2018, 11:06:57 PM
Well this statement is a big slapped on the face of countries like France and Germany who hates bitcoin and cryptocurrency, even demanding in G20 a joint proposal to regulate it.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-global-bitcoin-france-germany/france-germany-to-make-joint-bitcoin-regulation-proposal-at-g20-summit-idUSKBN1F728X

Quote
“We will have a joint Franco-German analysis of the risks linked to bitcoin, regulation proposals and these will be submitted as a joint proposal to our G20 counterparts at the G20 summit in Argentina in March,” Le Maire told reporters.

I'll consider the statement European Central Bank (ECB) President Mario Draghi  as a win for the crypto enthusiast, although I was surprised by it. I really thought that they (ECB) are very against it, but guess he really knows that crypto is not that disruptive as other is trying to picture specially bitcoin. And I'm also against France and Germany calling for a joint and universally crypto regulations. They can't force a crypto friendly country such as Japan or Belarus to follow such stance.

"he really knows that crypto is not that disruptive as other is trying to picture specially bitcoin".
Kinda agree with this statement, people using bitcoin as a speculative tool and when they got the profits, they will get their money back to the bank, not for the means of spending or used as daily currency, therefore it's just works like another usual commodity.
Therefore bank will just having fun with the additional money circulation they get.
2278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 will be the year of Altcoins exploding. on: February 09, 2018, 02:28:04 PM
Saying that bitcoin will be stable in 2018, I guess not really, people who joined the train of bitcoin could easily get panicked over really simple thing such as regulatory. People tend to worry when there's bitcoin price movement and really addicted to watch the price chart every minutes. The price purely based on demand which could easily affected by those things I mentioned, so bitcoin becoming is stable is kinda impossible though, unless there's something backing up the bitcoin value.
However, some alt coins may independent against bitcoin and could increase its value within 2018, but still, the price a little or big still affected by the price movement and bitcoin and the mother of tokens ETH.
2279  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: February 09, 2018, 02:18:40 PM
That could be possible to happen in the near future as days goes by we are entering the digital age that means even the regular currencies that we use will be digital as well. So time will come that crypto currencies will replace the regular currencies.
Digital currencies doesn't mean it will adopt the model or concept of crypto currencies, since the blockchain is designed to be decentralised, government will hardly regulating their own coin mainly due to the system they use, instead, they will make a new ones that suits their regulation pretty well. The age of fiat or traditional money is obviously will over, the digital currencies will replace it. But what the digital currencies might be, no one knows.
Just see the result when the time comes, though, cryptocurrencies still facing so many problem some of them are scalability and security (end-user).
2280  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the main reason for Bitcoin Price down? Will it stay for a long time? on: February 09, 2018, 02:14:58 PM
Lots of people are feeling very sick for bitcoin's price down. 2 Days ago, one of my known brothers texted me that he almost went for a heart attack! Because he invested all of his money on bitcoin and altcoins.Actually, I am feeling tensed too.
So, what do you think, What is the main reason for Bitcoin Price down? Will it stay for a long time?

Lately, there have been so many occurences in crypto market that may have caused its awful dump. Different countries have their own different issues about cryptocurrencies and it afflicted the market badly. Some false news were scattered in this forum which made the people panic. I think bitcoin is still trying to recover and since its pump was extremely surprising last year, it is recalibrating. Let us wait and be patient.
Those fun regarding bitcoin regulation and Chinese & Korean bitcoin crackdown that are, but pretty sure that those factors aren't the main thing that makes the price be dumped so hard like now. It's because there's so many newcomers come to bitcoin lately trying to earn some fortune but ended up easily panicked and doing a panic sell. The dump is not worse than the last year's, it looks huge because the amount or price of bitcoin is huge too, but I believe that in the middle of the year, it'll start recovering up again and we'll soon see new ATH but that's just my believe.
