2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: September 09, 2018, 09:52:02 PM
There's alot of people move out from Cryptocurrency some are for their loses and without experience, some are doing for in bounty campaigns but still not get result so I want to know behalf of that reason I have mention is correct. What do you think?
Bounties are having difficulties thid year because the market itself is on red marks due to the market downfsll which seem to be continuous and nonstop. It highly affects the bounty projects and in fact, some projects are extending to avoid the continuous dump yet still, it is unending resulting to less profit that what is expected from bounties. I do think waiting is the solution because things might be changed once market starts to be in green marks.
2262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: September 09, 2018, 09:22:15 PM
I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.
This thing should be acxepting as something that is normal, Especially at this moment wherein continuous downtrend is dominating the market which highly affects the ICO projects' token resulting to below ICO price upon being listed on different exchangers. But even if before, such problem do already exist and the reason is natural market volatility. It simply shows that ICO investment and bounty rewards won't be that much profitable at this state in the market.
2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: September 09, 2018, 12:05:07 PM
coinmarketcap was full blue. Beautiful June is taking place
Recovery has yet to come even if we dont know when will it exactly happen. For now, we should focus more on holding than to sell just because of panic due to the continuous market downtrend. Market is still on red marks and waiting for increase to happen is our only option. Selling on the other hand is would just make the situation worse. We are maybe in the lowest point this year, but there are still months remaining so changes do still has a chance
2264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your bitcoins for at least five years on: September 08, 2018, 11:08:06 PM
Recently, San Francisco hosted a financial conference MoneyShow, where the speaker was the well-known analyst Charlie Schrem. He believes that those who invest in cryptocurrencies need to keep their investments for at least five years.

"Choose something from the top 10 or top 20, choose carefully, study and then invest. Any cryptocurrency that you buy, keep at least five years. Just fix your portfolio for this period. There is a high probability that its value will grow during this period, as bearish and bullish trends in the market usually last about 2 years.”

Cryptocurrencies are the most volatile asset of all known. Daily growth or fall of 10% has become the norm, and similar movements of 90% for the year are still possible, at least so showed the current and previous bear markets.

And although bears sometimes take precedence over the crypto market, but every two or three years there is still a rally that takes bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to new heights. Thus, if investors follow the advice of Shrem, they are likely to earn.

Schrem was one of the first crypto-enthusiasts. He started investing in bitcoin back in 2011 and is a co-founder of the Bitcoin Foundation. In addition, he founded BitInstant crypto-exchange, which held 30% of all trading volumes in 2013. It even invested Roger Ver and the Winklevoss Brothers, but later she was forced to pay a fine of $1 million for the fact that someone used bitcoin to buy illegal psychoactive substances on Silk Road. Because of this, he also spent a year in prison.

But despite all this, he remains an ardent supporter of bitcoin and is now the head of crypto.iq-a company that gives investment advice and provides the necessary resources. He believes that the emergence of more than a thousand new cryptocurrencies is undoubtedly a good thing, but bitcoin will always be the king of the crypto market.

"These 1600 koin are "guerrilla marketing". They all appeared on everything ready, built by bitcoin in the first days of its existence. They entice people, they care about them, but bitcoin will always be a "daddy": the gold, in which most of the crypto-investors keep most of their portfolio. After some time, you will see that the total number of bitcoin transactions will fall, as people will use it more to store savings, because it is known that if it fails, then all cryptocurrencies will fail.”
I do agree of the idea of holding for a long period of time but be realistic and do not expect of that much increase just because it is a 5 long years. Keep in mind that consistency is lacking on every crypto so increase won't be totally comtinuous. Given that cryptos are being adapted by different countries, issues may suddenly appear as years are passing by which may be against the cryptoindustry or may also be in favor for it.
2265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN CRYPTO on: September 08, 2018, 10:23:07 PM
Apart from airdrops and bounties, and trading or mining. What other ways can one make money in crypto space?  I really like to know maybe one can explore it.
Simply invest and hold until the market value starts increasing. As the market value of a crypto increases, same thing would happen to the profit to be earned. But ofcourse, that would be a difficult thing to do at this moment wherein the market is on continuous downtrend and may seem hopeless from having a comeback just like what happened last year. Truly, it would be patience which is a must at times like this.
2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: September 08, 2018, 10:03:57 PM
Newbies should first know whT crypto, in general, is all about for a newbie to understamd the industry that he walks his path through. Be observant about the things that are new to you. Also, learn how to asked to those people who are not new on this industry for you to learn everything necessary. As a good start, invest and hold. It would practice your patience as welk as determination on starting new things.
2267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins better than bicoins right now? on: September 08, 2018, 03:20:21 PM
With the price of bitcoin continuously going down, do you think that altcoins could be better right now than bitcoins? I trust that bitcoin prices will still rise perhaps next year, but with the price still going down, maybe altcoins have a better chance. What do you guys think?
I won't say that alts in general is better than Bitcoin, but rather, only on some aspects. When it comes on the market value of cryptos, surely, Bitcoin would always has a place above or among fellow cryptocurrencies in the market. Ofcourse, it is possible for an altcoin to have a bigger market value but the real question is, until when. There's no assurance on when will increase happen so for now, it is holding which would make us safe.
2268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICO, why? on: September 02, 2018, 11:54:24 PM
I have seen so many signature in the forum and some of these signatures are good as i have been also visiting their website, btt forum and their telegram. The project they are also promoting are unique and most of it are promising project. However, this promising project will get compromise because the number of investors will compromised with the number of ICO being introduced. So the money of all the investors if it will be evenly distributed the ICO will not going to success because it could not raise more funds that is why i am raising this thread on why there are too many ICO? A great number of ICO's will increase the chance of the ICO's to fail.
Because new projects are being released every week. Every project has its own platform or product. Some are succeeding and some are not. The concept of a particular ICO may be repeated and improved. And I think that's the logic on why there are many ICOs in the market. This results to confusion for investors on which one to invest making them more systematic on choosing the best one.
2269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is GREEN today! Bull Run starting now? on: September 02, 2018, 11:42:38 PM
I do think that market still, is on down trend. I am expecting for increase to happen later this year and since there are 4 months remaining, we should wait for a little more. Just be patient at this moment and wait for things to be obvious. Don't be carried away on every changes in the market. For now, hold and wait.
2270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: September 02, 2018, 11:27:17 PM
We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

The huge profit that awaits is what motivating the holders at this moment. The downtrend is really hard to witness because it tempts many people to sell in order to nit lose more profit or to simply cut down the loss. Once you are an investor, avoid losing and settling for less. If the market value is falling, wait and hold until it again rise.
2271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: September 02, 2018, 11:13:02 PM
Do you regret it ?
or do you believe BTC will create a new ATH ?
I do regret it but given that it already happened and in the first place, no one expected that the market value of not only Bitcoin, but rather most of the cryptos, would be on a downtrend as this much. So since we are already tied on this situation, holding is the best option. Disregard thre regret and move on. Be patient and wait for things to be on positive marks.
2272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Altcoin prices often follow Bitcoin price on: September 02, 2018, 10:59:12 PM
Do they really? I often encounter this statement. And i have no idea as to why. This past few days, bitcoin is on the rise and most certainly than not altcoin's price surely follows. I am not saying this is bad but altcoins have very little in common with bitcoin. And they are certainly not carbon copies of bitcoin either. Why the heck is their price so closely connected despite being so fundamentally different?
I'm not sure, maybe because Bitcoin has a higher market volume, demand , popularity and large community. Bitcoin leads the rest of the cryptos when it comes to genral aspect which might put Bitcoin at yhe top. As we can observe last year, other cryptos are dependent with the market value of Bitcoin. So since things are different now, we my expect changes.
2273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it going to pass $20k again? on: September 02, 2018, 10:41:41 PM
My mother and I had a talk about bitcoin last December 2017 or January 2018, the time where bitcoin is on its ATH. She predicted it will not go up beyond $20,000. Do you still think it will reach again its ATH?
Assurance still is lacking at this moment. There's inedeed a  possibility for the market value to again increase that much but we can't still determine if it will now be able to cross 20000usd. Last year was different ftom this year. Green marks are indeed seen at this moment but we still don't know if this would be the start already.
2274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait? on: September 01, 2018, 11:14:56 PM
The present situation of the market has caused panic into the minds of some crypto enthusiasts. Some have not seen so much dip as this. One thing i know is that, crypto is very volatile. So no matter how much it falls, it will definitely rise back. Just watch out for what will happen in few weeks' time.
I will only urge you to wait and do not sell in panic.
Bring patient I think is the solution to this situation in order to not settle for less profit and regret eventually. Selling at this low point in the market would only result to complete profit loss unlike on waiting for increase to happen, and earn bigger. It is really hard to relax at situations like this but, that's the best option remaining.
2275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are you now afraid to save bitcoin until December 2018 on: September 01, 2018, 10:33:00 PM
I saw a lot of news in the media about the price of bitcoin.
and they predict bitcoin can go to the month again in December 2018
and there are some media that say the price of bitcoin will go down and this news makes investors afraid to buy bitcoin.

do you believe the price of bitcoin will rise?
or believe the price of bitcoin will drop!
Still not afraid. Bitcoin is one of the biggest crypto in this industry. No matter how long it will take before recovery happen, I do believe that holding is advisable and would be necessary in order to avoid regrets for settling on low market value just because of panic. Dumps are not permanent so we should not be afraid of it.
2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you invest in ICO in bear market? on: September 01, 2018, 09:49:55 PM
The hardest time to invest is in a bear market. You end up purchasing little amount of tokens for more ETH or BTC. But it's also a good time for projects to collect good sums of money during their crowdfunding, as ETH or BTC goes up, so does the value of the funds raised.

The question now is, will you invest in ICOs, or stick with investing in market dips (buy low, hodl and wait to go up and sell), or simply trade in bear markets?
Investing in ICOs during bear market is more risky compared investing on tokens that are already listed and on downtrend beacuse at this case, those that are already listed will give you an assumption whether it will have an increase or not. Unlike on ICO investment wherein it will be a pure guess becausre as we can see at this moment, most of the ICO tokens are having below ICO price.
2277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO project should I choose? on: August 26, 2018, 11:25:33 PM
Hello everybody! Hope you are doing well. The second month I have been thinking of investing money in ICO project. Do you think it is a good idea or I should just continue trading cryptocurrencies? What is the main keys what I have to look on? I am making research by finding ICO projects on rating agencies and ICO listings. What should I also look on?  Thank you in advance for your answers.
Investing to ICOs is indeed a good idea but maybe this is just not the time to do so because the majority of the market is still on downtrend which negatively and highly affects the profit from ICOs. Trading would be more profitable at this moment than investing. Holding would also be an option. But if you are still decided to do invest, choose those that are popular.
2278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: August 26, 2018, 11:06:45 PM
Hello everyone!

We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?

I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.

What is your idea?

Most of the investors are surely holding but we can't hide the fact that there's indeed people who are selling due to panic. And we shouldn't do the same thing knowing that recovery has a probability to take place given that downtrends are just seasonal and are temporary. As we have witneesed before, there will be times for recovery on every year which is an enough reason to hold.
2279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Investing on BITCOIN for 1 year... Will it good or bad? on: August 26, 2018, 10:46:25 PM
What will happen to this market within a year...? Investing on BTC was great on last few years. But if we invest on these days for a 1 year, will it gives a good profit or not?
I think it will be a good strategy knowing that Bitcoin for a long run is having a price increase and downtrends as what we currently experience do always happen. It would generate profit because there are period on every year wherein the market value is rising and periods during the recovery or increase. This have been proven from the previous years.
2280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy ETH or not? on: August 26, 2018, 10:32:46 PM
Today i am decided to that i want to buy some ETH but in this bear market i have get panicked because ETH is continuously dying. So what should i do now? Can i invest in ETH or not? Please give me some suggestion.
Ethereum is surely a good buy. Ethereum is having a higher chance of recovering from this downtrend among other altcoins especially the newly listed ones. Ethereum have been in lower market value way back two years  before. Invest into it and be patient. It is not only ethereum which is having difficulties on maiing a comeback but most of the cryptos
