2281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather set for New Year's Eve fight in Japan on: December 26, 2018, 03:36:53 AM
If fight is MMA rules I guess Tenshin Nasukawa has the speed and stamina
I agree, there are no doubts that Mayweather will be in a lot of trouble since his body was not adequately trained to resist the pressure and fatigue of taking into the ground.
if its Kickboxing rules, Tenshin Nasukawa has the edge since his skills is more on Kickboxing
Of course, it's his specialty Grin.
if its pure boxing rules Floyd Mayweather may have the advantage on this since he is a boxer but we don't know if Tenshin Nasukawa can adapt and adjust quickly.
That's true! Tenshin can box but for sure not as fast as Floyd can do. There would be a big difference between the speed.

Anyway, I really wonder what Mayweather is up to? Why he agreed to a mismatch (since both are different sports). Maybe he want to insult McGregor by proving that he can be a versatile fighter and win at the same time or maybe he now practice being an MMA fighter and soon fight McGregor in the cage, hmm Huh.
2282  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where do you buy bitcoins? on: December 26, 2018, 01:49:35 AM
It depends in what country you live? Know the local digital wallet used there and use it to buy crypto, as easy as that. You no longer need to visit exchanges or make a transaction with other people, just make sure that the wallet was legit.

Here in the Philippines, I used coins.ph to buy crypto especially btc but there are also few choices available such as eth, bch and xrp.
2283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [repeat] I AM HODLING on: December 25, 2018, 02:15:06 PM
Bitcoin took U-turn from $20k to $3.5k but who cares!
We are HODLING!!
That's the spirit Cheesy. I'm glad that I saw someone who remains positive and calm despite of the depressing market especially now that btc is on its downfall again.

I don't mind how long the bearish market will be but since I urgently needed a huge money this time (for my thesis) thne I hope it will rise very soon. Honestly I'm getting nervous on what eill happen this upcoming 2019.
2284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: December 25, 2018, 11:47:01 AM
I have tried to think what goes through my mind when ever I am trying to place a bet. I think something strange do happen to me and that is I always have this thinking that what if I lose, how am I going to feel! I have never want to lose in my mind I want to win always but I think this is impossible.
Dude that was not strange, it was a normal reaction of your body since you are dealing with an uncertainty.
Aside from overthinking, sweating, nervousness and palpitations might also experience.
Gamblers here did you always want to win all your bet? If you win all how will the gambling company makes profits?
Of course, everybody hates losing but this is inevitable. Even how careful we are in making decisions, each one of us still come on that point. That's life! Sometimes we're in the top, somtimes in the bottom.
If you win all how will the gambling company makes profits?
Only if but since it's impossible to happen in real world then gambling sites are able to earn.
2285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Live Betting vs Online Betting on: December 25, 2018, 10:04:40 AM
I still prefer the traditional way of gambling because you can feel much more hype and could have a more effective use of gut feel compare to online betting. Despite of having a crypto, I'm still not comfortable of using gambling sites because I can't get rid off of my mind the tendencies of manipulation and scam (maybe because I'm a beginner that's why). At least in actual you can easily predict and avoid if there is something shady happening unlike to online.
2286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 232: Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: December 25, 2018, 09:01:58 AM
^  I'm rooting for Gus but I just can't see how he wins vs Jones.  Jones is just too good
Yeah! I'll go for Gustaffson this time not because I don't believe on the strength of Bones but because I am now doubting whether if it is natural or not in his every battle (we all knew that Jones is not new anymore in performance enhancing drug issues). I can't wait for this battle, for sure this is going to be bloody.
Same with Nunes...  Cyborg is just too guy.  Lol.  Grin
She beats Rousey, remember? Nunes did not become a champion for no reason. I think she'll beat Cyborg Grin.
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: December 25, 2018, 07:30:17 AM
So, i recently went to a local gambling place here in our city and i participated in this game called color game.
It's very hard to win in so called "color game" dude, even me got a hard time earning from it. I always play it during fiestas since I was a child but what always  happens is that I'm eiither ending up with no profits or the worst is money loss (but not too huge). Well, that's gamble — there is no assurance of winning.

If you think color game is hard to play then what more for the game where you throw coins and should be placed inside the box in order to win prizes based to its number and color. I always win a glass or a bowl sometimes on that game Grin
2288  Economy / Economics / Re: Who are benefited with cryptocurrency? on: December 25, 2018, 04:00:51 AM
I don't believe that only the day traders are benefited by the bearish market, all the hodlers do as well. For me, day traders and hodlers had no big difference at all because they both do buy and sell. Traders are just more frequent to do that stuff that's why they can already see the profit they made in no time compare to hodlers which need to be patient and wait for the right time first  to sell the coins they bought from bearish days.

The bottomline, all of the crypto holders are benefitted but take note, only the smart ones. Careless, weak-hearted and individuals with lack of knowledge might face losses more often despite of how negative or positive the market we have right now.
2289  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NO coins.ph na sa CEBUANA!!! XRP may pasabog! on: December 25, 2018, 01:28:44 AM
Ito na nga ba talaga ang dahilan kung bakit iiwan na ng Cebuana Lhuiller ang coins.ph CASH OUT?
Actually, I have a doubt about this news because I can't see the logic behind this. Why would Crbuana Lhuiller choose to remove their partnership with coins.ph if in the first place they are earning from it. Huh Well, if it was posted in Bitpinas then maybe it's the truth (I believe on the credibility of that site).

I know that Ripple have a faster transaction with cheaper fees compare to btc but the latter one still dominates the market. Even we turn the world upside down, the King beats the underdog. I just feel sad because Cebuana choose the underdog. Well, that's their decision so we have no choice but to respect it, but knowing this, it will be not surprising if other remittance center (LBC) beat them in terms of volume of customers.
2290  Economy / Economics / Re: The market is looking healthy and greener all over again on: December 24, 2018, 11:55:03 PM
The crypto market is positive in this holiday season with big gains from the majority of cryptocurrencies and this is a good news for those who are for profits in this season but still a long to those who are in hodl.
You are right. The recent uptrend these past few days was good for the day traders out there but for the hodlers like me (especially who bought during the times of btc's peak)? It's not enough. Nevertheless, this is the best way to end this year. This kind of news gives hope to the old investors and maintains being interesting for the future ones. Let's hope that this will continue 'til 2019 and became the start of the long awaited bull run Smiley.
2291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We have to be aware that bitcoin will not last forever on: December 24, 2018, 11:05:56 PM
a one world currency can last a long time. and bitcoin seem to be heading that way
It was a very great concept, fantastic and promising BUT too ideal to happen. Crypto revolution could be very easy to implement if boundaries, wars and hatred are not present for each nation across the globe (not mentioning the different opinions regarding the blockchain technology) because cooperation and unity is the only key to achieve that but since it's not then maybe (just maybe) that dream csn't be put into reality forever.

Not sure which spreadsheet we are talking about. I do not see any updated link here. Am I missing anything?
We have the same problem. I can't see the list of accepted applicants. I clicked in the link "Coming Soon" but it says that it cannot be opened for now.

2296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's prepare for the worst on: December 23, 2018, 10:37:05 PM
How to become prepared for the worst if you really don't have a clue what is the worst thing could happen (Of course, reaching $0 is obviously the worst but I don't put in consideration since chances are very small for it to happen). So if you are scared for the next thing  and can't hold it any longer then feel free to cut yout losses, that was sad but at least your savings will not experience further drops anymore. It was definitely an impractical decision but if it is the only way to make you feel relieved then go.
2297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie on: December 23, 2018, 02:47:47 PM
Nobody will tell you 100%. It is quite funny - if you buy now - BTC will go down.
If you will not buy now - BTC will go up.
It is because what you buy doesn't make a significant change in the market. What happens is that there are more dumpers than buyers during that short period of time, but it is a different scenario when we talk about whales.Whales are so reach up to extent that they can move the trend by their own, they can cause steep uptrend and downtrend in the graph everytime they buy and sell.
2298  Other / Serious discussion / Re: The last time I was very active on this forum was 5 months ago. Why was I away? on: December 23, 2018, 12:50:00 PM
So tell me, what happened?
One that I noticed is that sig campaigns are now very rare but other than that I guess everything is the same.
Another thing that drew me further away from cryptocurrency was that I got a steady source of income which required a lot of my time. Then I had to go to school also.
I also became inactive here a while ago for about 2-3 months I think due to hectic schedule in school, Lots of case studies here and there plus I need to focus on my thesis. But since season of holidays finally come then I already have time for crypto once again (I just feel sad because of the slow recovery of the market).
2299  Economy / Economics / Re: How cash is becoming a thing of the past | DW Documentary (Banking documentary) on: December 23, 2018, 10:32:58 AM
I think we'll eventually go cashless completely on the introduction of some sort of bio chip that contains all your details of your identity as well as allowing access to your stored funds, it will be used like a contactless bank card is now used except it will be an insert in to your forearm.
Hmm, seems like a plot of a science fiction movie.

Anyway, I also wish that I reach the time when we go cashless but I highly doubt that it will hapen not because I don't believe in the potentials and capabilities of our technology but because of the people's lack of willingness to adapt. Like what happened now, we already have cryptocurrency and yet there are still who refuse to use it and the worse is some of them try to destroy its image in the public. See my point? The means of attaining a cashless society is present but we're not all supporting it Sad.
2300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Christmas gifts this year, all my money in Bitcoin on: December 23, 2018, 08:40:56 AM
nah, family needs to celebrate the holidays Smiley
You have a good point dude but it would be a Merrier Christmas if you earned lots of money, right? (It's a big yes whether you admit it or not Roll Eyes) Anyway, it's your opinion so I respect it.

I know that this upcoming Christmas is very different last year and we can't do anything about it. So instead of crying in the corner and always minding the losses, let's try to feel jolly and enjoy the little ups before this year ends Smiley.
