We're all from Earth. Remember we all have a common universal currency? Grin
2282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I do mining with a normal PC? on: May 09, 2014, 09:58:47 AM
MemoryCoin was most profitable CPU coin a few weeks back; I don't know if it still is.

Invest some of that into something alot more solid then bitcoin and protect yourself.

Gold maybe silver. Congrats but play it safe
I bought bitcoin @ $40 INSTEAD of buying gold and silver... which do you think was the best investment over the past 12 months?

But it woks both ways. Many people bought at $800 too. It wouldn't SEEM to be a wise investment now.
2284  Other / Off-topic / Re: Porn sites on: May 09, 2014, 09:52:17 AM
What sites do you like?

Here is a list of "free" sites that I found so far  Roll Eyes :

Nice info. But All those links were blocked in my country!  Grin

So the government does not want their people to be happy? Grin

Anyway, just google for porn. They can censor some sites, but they can't censor the whole internet, right?
2285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How lucky Is my brother on: May 09, 2014, 09:47:31 AM
I feel like thats nearly impossible... similar to getting struck by lightening.

Getting stuck by lightening has much much better chance than finding a BTC block solo on a laptop

Assuming difficulty stays at current level forever (extremely unlikely), it would take on average 12100 years to get a block with 90MH/s.
No idea how long you need to wait to get a lightning struck lol. Cheesy

The odds of becoming a lightning victim in the U.S. in any one year is 1 in 700,000
The odds of being struck in your lifetime is 1 in 3,000

You guys just must be having some bad luck because I have had literally thousands of trades across dozens of currencies and have very few minor problems with anything period, deposits, withdrawals, buy and sell no issues. Pretty fast help desk too.

When I did ask for help I always get pretty quick help.

I did have an issue with them a while back but it was unrelated to the actual exchange and we worked it out.

Why do you guys hate on Cryptsy so bad?

~BCX~

+1

I have never had a bad experience with Cryptsy; I have been using it for several months.

So does Dark Wallet dispose the need for other anonymous coins such as DarkCoin or ByteCoin?
2289  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Would it still be profitable if bitcoin goes down to $1 a bitcoin? on: May 09, 2014, 04:21:08 AM
If BTC goes down to $1, mining hardware would be dirt-cheap. You would probably find a block with a USB erupter.

Great news, everyone!

LTC and BTC mining was added to Minergate pool

Stay informed.

Thanks, but no thanks. You have shown your greedy attitude by forcing 10% fees on BCN, and that too with a closed-source miner. People mine BCN with you only because there are no other pools.

There is simply no reason to mine BTC and LTC with you Roll Eyes
2292  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How lucky Is my brother on: May 09, 2014, 04:11:08 AM
My brother was mining on my laptop bitcoin. I have a nividia 660M geforce gtx grapics card. He solo mined for 1 day and found a block. If I am correct a block is 25 bitcoin, and the market value of bitcoin is about 450.

So did my Brother hit the lottery in bitcoin  Shocked?

WoW~~Very good idea!I hope Soccercoin will be exceed the Litecoin!
How do you think it?  Wink

Thank you, We will try our best to make it happen.
Hello, guys,i want buy 0.1 Billion Soccercoin with the rate 0.006LTC/1K SCC.
Welcome contact to me!

Show me a proof that you have 6000 LTC. Otherwise you're just trolling.
Hey,buddy
It is total 600LTC,not 6000LTC to buy  0.1 Billion Soccercoin with the rate 0.006LTC/1K SCC. Wink
By the way ,i have money,do not hold LTC,if anybody have lot of SCC,i will buy LTC and exchange with him !

Looking at the block reward schedule and current block, it does not look like more than 0.05 billion SCC have been mined.

Are you sure 0.1 billion is a realistic number and that many coins have been mined?

are there any mining programs for mac? i want to mine this coin

Have you tried solo-mining on Mac binaries?
2295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Reason why everyone is offloading their gridseeds? on: May 08, 2014, 01:05:07 PM
Compared to sha ASICs you are not limited by electricity. So I doubt when the Titan hits the market in Q3 people are going to turn off their 7W Grindseed units. Of course their value is getting lower, that's why people try to sell them while they can get a decent price.

+1

That's why we're seeing loads of discounts on Gridseeds from manufacturers

Titan is 300 mh/s now

No wonder people would want to dump their 4 MH/s Gridseeds before these dinosaurs hit the market.

the sad part is that those titan will have the same fate in 2-3 months after they release

a godzilla with 5 GH/s will emerge by that time

asic are pointless

Do asic die after such a long time use?

lol I hope not I just ordered http://www.gawminers.com/300-kh-s-single-gridseed-asic-miner/ w/ power supply adapter.

They won't die soon. But you would not want to use them once all those dinosaurs hit the market anyway after few months. It would be like mining with CPU when everyone else is using GPUs.

Monero hashrate seems to have taken a jump due to their new optimized miner.
