I was once again looking at the draft and it is incredible how things can change in a single round, round 11 was the one that really forced me to change my plan, before the draft I was thinking on picking a defense and a kicker a round earlier and with my last pick I would pick Fitzpatrick, but then nutildah picked a defense, then others did the same and wheelz picked TJ and then in that round I picked Kareem Hunt which I never picked during the mock drafts as in most of them I had Chubb.

I mention this as I saw the waiver and I saw you trying to pick Fitzpatrick and this reminded me of my failed strategy, and BTW it seems that we were targeting many of the same players as I think I blocked you from picking Gronk and Wilson.

Yeah. you blocked me on a few guys! Cheesy

nice job.

I still think we need another flex spot.

Did it again.  Was down in the casinos last night and couldn't resist.  Threw some more dough on the giants to win the division. At 4.5-1 odds it was too much for me not to.  Looks like Zach Martin, cowboys best online man is out so that is going to be a super tough game against the Bucs.  Easy 0-1 to start the season.

I would normally merit a gamble like this but i think your pissing in the wind my friend. Wink
But we wont know till the opener!

ohh wtf. merit for balls! Cheesy

The season is about to start and now it comes the time to take some important decisions, I am really happy with my RBs I think that was the best part of my draft, however I am thinking on sending Ezekiel Elliot to the bench and play Gus Edwards instead as I have the feeling that TB is going to destroy the Dallas defense and on the second half they will begin to throw the ball all over the place to catch up and will forget about the running game, this is good for those which drafted Dak, Lamb and Copper but not for me.

And about the TE position, I have a lot of options but I still think I am going to play Gronk. Roll Eyes

I'm finding the same issue, I can't believe I'm going to have Thielen ride the bench! Amazing having Zek ride the bench when he's healthy but I see your logic. Also it may very well take a few weeks for the cowgirls to get their act together this year. Gus won't have much in the way of competition and should get a ton of work on a team that loves to pound the ball.

I have a feeling Gronk is going to come out like gangbusters after his superbowl success.
I bet he really misses those accolades from years past.
The only question is is his body up to it?

So looks like That Moron Cam couldn't even learn the playbook and the rookie was trying to help him!
The exact opposite of what was supposed to be happening. I can't believe how many Cam lovers out there have no clue what a worthless piece of garbage that guy is.

So I noticed this guy Trey Lance sitting on the waiver wire looking all lonely and shit and said Hey, I got a bench spot maybe I'll give that poor guy a home!

So I heard this guy is pretty good, how come he was on the wire when all you guys drafted two QB's Huh
2290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: September 05, 2021, 02:34:51 AM

Well clearly I wouldn't put much stock into this because this is wrong: there's no way wheelz and I can both be #1 and #2, because we're in the same division. So you can still fantasize about being #2 and wheelz will have to be #3 obviously.

Obviously by that logic I am number 7!

I shall fantasize accordingly. Cheesy

Someone drafted Trevor Lawrence before me. I am not sure if he was drafted before old man Brady or after him. I reckon he will be needing someone young because his knees might not handle a whole season. He is 43 years old?

That was me. I think it was many rounds after you got the old man. My primary is Lamar. I don't know how much sense it makes to have a backup QB but we'll see.

Hehehe okay. I liked my pick on Brady, however, after some rounds I remembered Manny Pacquiao. I thought that there might be a possbility of his decline this season. My first choice was for a reserve was Trevor Lawrence, second choice Stafford. Stafford might have a good year for fantasy according to experts.

No, you should absolutely drop Stafford, he's horrible and doesn't have a chance on the Rams. Hell he's got all those shitty receivers and such a weak O-line I don't know why anyone drafted him. Wink

OK, I have had the worst draft but I think alot of these guys are underrated and will have bounce back years. I gambled on most of them grabbing them way before ADP and it shows on the overall weakness of my team. Looks like I was drafting for 2019 !!!!

Here is our week 1 matchups and as is plainly obvious I am WAY in last place! Cheesy

In the covid Era, backups are huge.  And then there's the teams bye week, and any week to week injuries.  Having a decent backup for your positions is sometimes just as important as having a solid starting squad.

Right, but with 8 teams even assuming everyone drafted 2 QBs (which not everyone did as I'm looking through teams now) we would still have half of league's starting QBs remaining. I do envy Tamalpais Temptations QB picks though Smiley

But at least now I have someone I can cut to make room for a second kicker on a bye week.

NO! You guys have to keep 2 QBs so I have less to pick from.

Its all part of my master plan! Cheesy

I swer you guys literally nabbed 3 or 4 guys the spot right before I was going to grab them!

what a fun draft I was yelling at you fuckers the whole time!

I don't think I've yelled "NOOOOO" at the screen more times in my life! Cheesy

Should be real interesting with me swapping out QB's along the way.

I missed 2 of them (Lamar and Wilson) right as they were about to hit.

You guys made some real outstanding picks and grabbed a few guys I thought I was going to be able to Snipe like Antonio Brown , Evans and  Metcalf way before ADP.

Well Fuck Guys, I spent an hour or so yesterday editing my pre draft strategy list and just signed in to have the page open and its all gone.

Fuck didn't even notice you have to hit Save rankings button!

The goddamn button should not scroll off the screen as you scroll down or at least should prompt you.

Anyway just pointing this out so it doesn't happen to any of you guys especially if you just planned on jumping in there setting it and letting it auto.

Oops... Yeah I think it auto-saves in Yahoo if memory serves.

I thought it over and I'm not picking McCaffrey... so those down the draft line, do with that info what you will. I'd be a real stinker if I said all this just to do a head fake and draft him anyway, lol. Until then, get ready to draw!

Well guess I shoulda checked the thread right before the draft!  Got waylaid for a few hours before hand.

You threw me a real curve ball there taking Henry when I though he was my first pick Smiley

A fews days ago i saw a dream that one fine morning, i checked bitcoin price and it was 100,000$. I was so happy to see this but then my eyes opened and when i checked in reality it was around 48000$.
My friends says that i see real dreams, so this means that bitcoin will reach 100,000$ in reality  Roll Eyes

I just went out with a realtor yesterday to view a property based on the likelihood that bitcoin will be over $100k by the end of the year. I wanted to be ready.

I'll definitely be looking at a BlockFi loan as opposed to cashing out.

Tell us how it works out, Elwar! This is useful info.

I've been wanting to do something like that for a long time: extracting fiat without cashing out. I'm just very wary, because all the bitcoin lending setups I've seen in the past were scams. BlockFi looks like it's a bit different... until it turns out it really isn't?

From what I saw the US government is fighting them on the Bitcoin loans.

I figure if I get the cash in the form of a loan for the equivalent amount of BTC that I would have otherwise received via cashing out then they go bankrupt or whichever, it still qualifies as a loan as far as the IRS is concerned. Just nobody to pay the loan back to.

Quote
As of February 2021, BlockFi requires you to maintain a 50% loan to value (LTV) ratio to borrow US Dollars. If you are borrowing $25,000 today, you need to put up 1.36 BTC as collateral on a 12-month term.

If 1 BTC is worth $30,000, for example, then you would need to put up 2 BTC as collateral to borrow USD 30,000 from BlockFi.

Just donated the app and logged in and can't find our league.  Don't ever use espn fantasy so don't know if I'm looking in the right place.  Went back to the invite link and shows I've accepted.  Anyone know how to get to draft?

Paypal finally figured out when I told them to fuck off and suck my dick I meant it. Smiley

Words cannot describe how much I hate paypal.

About 5 or so years ago they wanted me to supply a bunch of personal info and I told them to fuck off and they restricted my account and after I ignored them for 6 months they sent me an email saying all was good. Lol More people need to just tell them to fuck off but the sheep do what they are told.

I only used them for fleabay purchases and now I don't even bother with ebay anymore.
