I used real CV (Control Voltage) once. From memory, that was one volt per octave? Didn't look it up. I used Roland CV from an SH-101 (still have it) to a Jupiter 8 (still have it, the last of the analog monsters, 8 oscillators!! {a MiniMoog has 3} Sync all 8 to one key. You'd better put on a helmet.) The proprietary stuff worked like a charm. CV desired to be what MIDI actually became: The One Interface, To Control Them All. And MIDI really was...
Synth, moog? I think Autobahn. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gChOifUJZMc

@cAPSLOCK I have several/many stories about analog synths and myself. Nothing famous, nor large. Yet I refrain because of OpSec. I've been online a long time, I am trying to keep these stories, each into their own world.
A good one I can relate, I went to NAMM (the music hardware exposition on the left coast of the USA, not VietNam). I had the pleasure of meeting Craig Anderton (perform your own search here). I was able to convey some of my work, it was a fun thing. He is a music guy that has done great work in recent decades, yet not a serious/famous performer.
Then later, we smoked some crack, and shared our favorite Linkin Park videos.
Our paths overlap a little then! I have been to Namm a few times as well. And of course I know of Anderton... a great educator and authority in the whole digital music realm! I've never tried crack though. I actually have an old relationship with the Cakewalk company (gone now). I contributed to their Sonar product back in the day. I don't suppose this will be too much to share... but I will not get any more specific here lol. I do not know if the current (free) version of the product still has my contribution in it or not... hmm...

His crashed Duccati that he bought when BTC was $700 per each.. looked pretty damned nice too... and gosh, you might wonder why some peeps never make it even close to fuck you status.
But they have a lot of funzies along the way... and might be crying a lot when they are in their 50s that they do not have much of anything and they are also not feeling like working so much, either.. .... but do they have a choice at that point?
To each their own, no?
hey JJG, why the bad vibes?? I really enjoy reading your walls of text, and I usually adhere to your toughts. But this negativity surprises me. Let him enjoy his wealth. Carpe diem they say.

Just checked on the fees that I would need to pay to convert one of my shitcoins into USDT via DeFi and it comes to about $600. For $5000 worth of coins.
We are certainly not at the future of DeFi yet.
The RGB solution coming down the pike would be over the Lightning Network and cost almost nothing using client side validation. That is the future of DeFi.
YUCK! Where was that? I have used Sideswap, and i do not *think* their fees are quite that bad, but maybe so. *edit* Oh, I see... "DeFi". Maybe I am missing the point, but nothing seems more middle of the bellcurve than "DeFi". I always get an image in my mind of Laura Shin talking about it like it's changing the world. But I admit my thoughts are based in ignorance. I've not done much with it, other than try to set up a Monero swap. I've been using 1inch. Just checked again on a Sunday morning fees "down to" $150.

He's not the only one, quite a few of us bought things with bitcoin. Buying something is better than losing your bitcoins gambling them on exchanges. At least you get something to show for them. That's better than nothing. 1 month rental apartment 1 bedroom junior size $30000
I visited a friend yesterday and saw the bike that I had gifted him. a nice $180k bicycle. not sure if he really knows what it means to ride germanys most expensive bike.
i bought like 5 games off steam when they took btc. id have to check the prices at the time but probably comes 15-20k USD per game at this price point today. so call it say around 100 grand.

So, I tested positive for COVID-19.
Good times.
Feels like I've been absolutely smeared by an 18 wheeler.
Have not ever experienced cold or flu symptoms this harsh before.
I'll recover fine. No respiratory congestion at all so far, but Rick said his congestion started on day 3 of the infection, so, we'll see how things go. However, I think Rick did himself no favors with his infection, and ended up contracting secondary conditions because he was working, and not resting.
Thank you, China.
Assholes.
At least we'll both have natural immunity after I recover, so that's nice.
Bed-rest for me for at least the next week.
Have a great Sunday, friends.
