FIFA must be consistent with regulations like this, if they don't want to include the names of countries attacking other countries because of political problems until a war occurs like Russia, then in the future they must do the same thing. It would be unfair if this was only done for Russia, considering that football should not be associated with politics. If I'm not mistaken, in the past when Israel and Palestine had political problems, FIFA did not take serious action against Israeli football. (CMIIW). So, if this is the first step from FIFA, and the same thing should be done in the future.

Do you really think Putin and his government care about Sport? They will just find more ways to by-pass the restrictions that were placed on them. Just look at the Russian Olympic Committee that exploited a loophole that allowed Russian athletes to compete in the Olympics.  In any way... Putin and his followers have already compared the potential pro's and cons of a war against the Ukrainians and the losses from a few Sport matches are not a huge loss for them. The worst thing is that ordinary people suffer from all this. If Russian athletes cannot take part in international competitions, it will be a serious blow to their financial well-being. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them quit sport to feed their families. Politics is politics. I dont know why they allow politics in sport. Im not Russian or something but you should at least allow sports to be played. They have families aswell that live from sports. Uefa and Fifa always said dont get politics involved in sports and thats just what they did. Hopefully the war stops soon so things can go to normal |

All the big teams have won this week. Nothing changed. Real Madrid, Sevilla, Barcelona, Atletico and Villarreal got three points. The loser of the week was Real Betis. I don't think they can stay in third place for very long. All three teams from behind will pass them. Especially Barcelona has caught a big break lately. They even have the potential to be second. Atletico Madrid also recovered. If they beat Betis next week, the standing will change anyway.
Even with how good Betis is playing this season i dont think they will be able to keep their top 4 spot that leads into the champions league. Both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are now on a winning streak and getting back into form so for Betis it will be really difficult to try and survive in the top 4 of the laliga. |

Atalanta will return after their last 6 games without a win. Finally they had to lose to Fiorentina with a narrow score of 1-0. Now they face an easier opponent if you look at the statistics, namely Sampdoria who occupy 15th in the standings.
But unlike Atalanta, Sampdoria got 3 points from their last game. That can motivate them to get points again in this match.
Atalanta needs a win badly in tonights match against Sampdoria. If they dont win they will probobly not have a chance to go for that fourth place that leads to champions league. Both teams could not achieve the success they wanted in their country's leagues this year. But both of them are playing good football in the Europa League. An interesting couple, but Galatasaray looks like an obvious outsider - in the home championship they are already in 13th place and, as I understand it, their game is far from ideal By the way, the last time these clubs played against each other was 20 years ago in the Champions League. They are good, always in the form. They sit first at the table with 57 points from 23games no doubt they will win their league I see no team stopping them not even PSV. I completly agree and i think Ajax with how they are playing now they are for me in one of the top 5 clubs in the world. Everybody underestimate them in Champions league but they will go really far. They are now facing Antalyasor in the Turkish Cup and if they take that one home they are already in the semi-finals.
