Bayern were ruthless against Mainz today. One thing I observe in bayern's recent wins can be accredited to the Coach tactical change. The introduction of Choupo Moting has Brought stability to the team, players like Mane and Gnabry are having freedom in the wing with a proper striker like Choupo who has the ability to hold up play for wingers. Mane's potential is finally coming up, even though Choupo Moting doesn't have the quality of Lewa but with him Bayern now has a proper striker.

Stuttgart win against Augsburg has just brought them out of the relegation zone with Bayer Leverkusen falling into the dead zone after the loss to Lepzig. Its going to be a hell of fight there I just hope Xabi Alonso could get his team together and start fighting. Because Leverkusen are seriously a shadow of their selves compare to last season.

Brighton is simply fantastic against big teams. They are continuing where they stopped last season and have already won against United and Chelsea and drawn with Liverpool.
Chelsea did help them by scoring 2 own goals, but 4-1 is a statement win - something Brighton needed after failing to win in their last 5 games.

City wasn't that good without Haaland but still had enough for a minimal win against Leicester. They briefly took over the lead on the table, with Arsenal still having to play this weekend.

Karagümrük have been on a serious rise since the Fenerbahçe match. In general, they are among the teams that do not have problems in finding goals. I haven't seen any improvement made by Liverpool, I mean a significant improvement. But it's not impossible Liverpool can do it in this Champions League.
Manchester City have a solid team at the moment which adds to their confidence and will increase. But in the group stage there is no team that is really a balanced opponent for them, I still need to see how far they come when faced with a team that is balanced in strength.

The odds look good in terms of value, but I'd gladly pass on it, because I think are easily going to concede a goal or two, Haaland is likely not to start, so I'm sure Guardiola tactical ingenuity might come to hunt him again because I'm quite looking forward a couple of tweaks if Haaland doesn't start then it's likely we'll have De Bruyne play further forward while I like the calm he and composure he brings when playing deeper.

The most exciting match of this evening is Fenerbahce v Rennes.It was a surprise for everyone. However, Jorge Jesus' players did not give up and they finished the match with a 3-3 draw. So they did not leave the leadership in the group. Barcelona needs to get rid of the veterans like Busquets and Pique. They did a great job in the last 10 years for the club, but they can't maintain their top performance from 10 years ago. Porto takes revenge for the defeat it suffered against Club Brugge (0-4 in the first round). They have just won by 4 goals, without a response, at Club Brugge. Despite the difficulties they felt in the first half, they still managed to reach the break with a 1-0 lead. Then, in the second half, everything was different and they scored 3 more goals, setting the final score at 4-0.

If Atlético de Madrid doesn't beat Bayer Leverkusen, Porto will be in the next phase. Will it happen?
