I don't think that Chelsea are thinking of making a big striker signing for now. They have already signed Aubameyang and they would like to see his performance first. If he performs poorly until January then maybe they can try to go for a big transfer move. Ronaldo might be seen like an option but I don't think so. He would cost them too much and there is no guarantee if he would play better than Aubameyang.
By the way Aubameyang is really disappointed to see Tuchel being sacked. He came here for Tuchel in the end but the team are trying to reassure him for the time period ahead. Hopefully it wouldn't be a factor for him to start playing badly.
Ronaldo would sign with Chelsea i think instantly if they just call him. He wants more playing time plus to play in champions league. Aubameyang for me is a bad move for Chelsea and once he starts playing bad he will just be another bench player like in his previous clubs

I wonder if the games shifting will affect the English teams - it looks like they will have endless boxing days. This may reduce their results in the Champions League.
yeah, as it looks at the moment, there will be two postponed rounds, and that, with World Cup could put two more mid-week rounds in already tight schedule, and will certainly influence results in Europe with all said, PL teams started really bad with Chelsea, Liverpool and United losing their European matches in first round, that did not happened lately, usually almost all wins per round, especially in CL group stage Well all 3 of this teams started the entire season bad. In premier league they are doing bad and the form from premier league reflected on champions league amd europa league. Chelsea even sacked Tuchel and i think that is serious nonsence from them

The news of Thomas Tuchel's dismissal after a short term with the club was a shock to me. Tuchel has done very well with the club, we don't see many managers winning five trophies in two seasons these days, I think he deserves a little more time to get the club to top form but he was dismissed so quickly. Todd Boehly decision doesn't sit well with me.
I think this was a huge shock. Tuchel did a huge job in Chelsea and won some really imortant trophies. There was a crises with the owner and everything and now they sack him. I think it is really unfair if you start one season badly that you get fired

Another great comeback from Swiatek. It seems that he is becoming the Djokovic of women's tennis. Like deliberately losing a set by a huge margin and then coming back strong to snatch a win.
So it will be Jabeur vs Swiatek in the women's final. I will be putting my money again on the over for this. I'm expecting that it will be a 3 setter match.
And maybe Swiatek is better suited in this kind of game, but it's still very dangerous to really make a huge comeback specially if she faces a tough opponent that has the same mentality as her. And with that, I think that is the biggest factor in this match. She still has the will to win even if she is down 1 set. So Swiatek might have a clear advantage of Jabeur plus the experience. So she will be the favorite to win the Ladies US Open. Swiatek done good job after losing first set and now have spot into last two against O Jabeur which is also doing amazing stuff for last few months even she is not good enough but still it's not going to be easy for Swiatek because in last four matches both have 2 - 2 and O Jabeur current form is also excellent she lost only one set in this event and having quality game against few quality players which is giving her good experience for big events. Nick Kyrgios has been given the biggest fine of the US Open so far for his behavior in his quarter-final defeat by Karen Khachanov. The Australian was fined $14,000 (£12,000) after throwing a drink bottle to the ground and then smashing two racquets at the end of the match. The total of his fines in New York for offenses including spitting and swearing was $32,500 (£28,200). https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/62829722Really the best possible outcome for the final. I was looking to watching Swiatek vs Jabeur. Jabeur also is in really good form while Swiatek is first in the world so will be really intresting too see what will happen. Also Kyrgios continuing his habits and really dosent care about the fines

Last season Leipzig beat Dortmund with two wins 2-1 and 1-4, but for this season's match Leipzig will play Dortmund with their new coach. To be honest I personally would doubt Leipzig this match and I have no hesitation in betting for Dortmund to win, apart from the new coach Leipzig's performance so far this season has not been good. So yes, even though Leipzig will play at home, it doesn't look like Leipzig can beat Dortmund. On the other hand, Dortmund will certainly avenge their defeat last season, because losing two matches last season was really bad for Dortmund so at this moment Dortmund will certainly win the match as a way to take revenge.
Well Leipzig is in serious problem with how bad their form is and they need the win badly against Dortmund. While Dortmund is in really good form and is even in front of Bayern Munich on the league table. Hopefully we watch a good match and see Timo Werner scores a goal and shows his value like before

It's true that seeing Liverpool's inconsistent performance in the Premier League doesn't seem surprising if Liverpool perform poorly in the Champions League. But Liverpool should not lose by a big score, this is very embarrassing for Liverpool, who were runners-up in the Champions League the previous season.
You are right. Even if Liverpool got defeated, at least it is not with 3 goals difference. It is a quite shame, Liverpool performance seems like a small team. Everyone must be disappointed with Liverpool since they are always a candidate for UCL winner in the last few seasons. If it was chelsea ... they might sack klopp right in the morning lol.
Correct. Klopp is lucky that he isn't a Chelsea coach. So far at the early season ... liverpool didn't perform really well despite all the key players are available , the fans now looking something to blame and mane departure become one of many strong reasons.
I think it is not only about the Mane factor. But the whole Liverpool players are decreasing in motivation to play consistently and improve their performance. In some matches, I assume Liverpool players are getting lazy, they didn't play aggressively anymore. Klopp should evaluate the players' behavior/mentality. Liverpool fans and management know how much Klopp has done for Liverpool. He won them their first premier league title after 20+ years and won them the champions league aswell. So it would be really bad to sack him for starting the season bad.

Games are coming in thick and fast, and as usual, I'm looking for what I'd call value bets against superior opposition (which get even more ridiculous when playing at home).
Teams to eye: Fiorentina, Villareal, Basel and West Ham, all playing at home, mixed fortunes in domestic leagues (except bloody Villareal I'd say), and odds are all above 10/1 to lose.
West Ham , Villereal and Basel won as expected but the biggest shock in all 3 tournaments is that Fiorentina played 1-1 against RFS. This is a historic point for team from Latvia and against a huge team. Even with 30+ shots Fiorentina managed only to score one goal

Real Sociedad were so calm barely pressured by Man United away. Actually Ronaldo got 2-3 chances, but the ball was always controlled and didn't shoot right away. Indeed, age doesn't lie, the instinct to score goals is gone, it's fitting that in PL, he is often on the bench
Honestly expected a lot more from Manchester United, they lost at home 0-1 and they were the clear favorites so they already dropped 3 points and its not gonna be easy to pass the group. Ronaldo still cannot score and it is frusterating

First round that we dont have an actual intresting match, all of the favorites are playing against weaker teams so the only intresting match is between maybe Bologna and Fiorentina. Hard match also Roma should have against Empoli that is always hard to play against

Manchester United will start their first match in Group E of the Europa League at Old Trafford Vs Real Sociedad. And Cristiano Ronaldo started in the first half with Antony and Elanga in attack. Can Ronaldo score his first goal for United in this match?
That was the plan, that he gets maximum playing time international. Before the Match start, the death of the Queen was announced. Both teams play with mourning flag. I hope Ronaldo scores a goal and enters the game. Every other game is more interesting and there is at least one goal everywhere. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the goal but he was in offside,so things for him still arent going. But still he has time in second half to score a goal. He needs to build confidence with a goal, for a striker this is the most important thing

What a Battle between Alcaraz and Winner. I was optimistic about the win for the Italian but in the end Alcaraz was seriously impressive with such shots. Interesting this Is the second win on this surface for the spanish! I think the match between the two players will become a "Classic" to see in the future.
Again a really nice battle between these two guys. They play really good tennis and Alcaraz took the win. Alcaraz also has an amazing chance to win the Us open and get the number 1 place in the world. Also Ruud can also take the first place and that to me is really wierd

I see one of the most important opportunities that Inter could get a score, but Correa threw it away opportunities. It was obvious this man was too panicked in that position, if Inter got one goal of score maybe the other players would have been more confident because was mistake from the Bayern defender. I can't believe what I see it today Inter lost so badly without a score, 5 match left for Inter to collect a lot of points and qualify but I'm not sure they can.
Inter played a solid match but honestly they arent no match for Bayern Munich, these guys are on another level. Bayern Munich played today with 50% only from what they can honestly show and they won easily 0-2 and could have been even more .

I think today we have better matches than yesterday.
Inter - Bayern Munich its a really good match to see i think we can have a lot of goals and some good counter attacks made by Inter. Napoli - Liverpool also its a beautifull match to see, lets see if Napoli can do anything against the reds.
Other match i take an eye its Spurs Marsella, commonly Marsella its a shame on UCL, but lets see if they can put some pressure.
I agree aswell, lots of good matches for today and i think it will be easier to predict then yesterday. Expected more from milan and some other teams yesterday. Got only 7.5 points in the first day so not satisfied at all. Was close too a lot correct scores

Frankfrut seems to be the new top 3 force in Germany Bundesliga right now as Leipzig are in free fall in the last year and it seems it will continue on this trend in this year as well. Frankurt of the other side , is playing a great football , won the Europe League , had some players leaving the squad but also made new transfers and they are still a great squad overall and slowly regaining their form and pace.
I honestly dont know what is happening to Leipzig. They bought Timo Werner and are still bad, something is wrong in the management of the team as far as i cam see. Frankfurt is still in the middle of the table so i dont see them in top 3 with this team even tho they beated Leipzig today

Inter lost again and already got a miracle win with Lecce some turns ago, I don't think they will be the favorite for the final win.
Meanwhile, Napoli is winning versus Lazio.
Inter sold some of their good players and didnt keep much players and this year they dont look so great. They need to sign some good players if they want to save this season. Milan won again and i dont see Milan honestly in top 3 but they are proving me wrong everyday. Napoli to me is a big surprise this season

Fenerbahçe beat Kayseri at home with a very good game. After 70 minutes without a shot on goal, Fenerbahçe really dominated. There was a big difference compared to last week. Altay made two spectacular saves from two shots on goal. You have to congratulate him, getting up and saving one after the other is not something everyone can do.Fenerbahçe was the better team and won. There could have been more goals but it didn't happen.
This is the Fenerbahce that we need. Fenerbahce is always hot and cold they win one game then the next one loss some points and they need to go on a streak so they can win the title. With this win they are sharing the second place with a couple of teams but after tommorows matches they will drop for sure

There is a golden opportunity tomorrow for Arsenal,if they win the game against Manchester United then they will be in a very comfortable position in their fight for the title which would be even more realistic after the win against Manchester United. The fact that the top contenders like Manchester City,Liverpool and Chelsea are leaving points here and there only make things easier for them if they are serious enough to win tomorrow game. These points left here and there can be fatal for the title race,I only hope Arsenal wins tomorrow that would make the Premier League even better than it is.
I think nobody expected that Arsenal would be in this position especially the fans. Arsenal can now make a big advantage over Man City and we know that in the premier league every point is really huge. Also i dont know what happened to Man City to drop more points.

I see that Lazio and Napoli are as hot a game as Inter against Milan. So far the score is even and both teams have scored one goal each, but Napoli have a new Georgian Maradonna who could easily decide the outcome of this game. I'd love to see Hvija score and Napoli get back to the top of the standings. Haha, as I was writing, my prediction came true! Really hot match between these two teams attack on all side currently. Napoli just scored and it is 1-2 for Napoli now but i think we will se one or more goals in this match. Lazio missed some good chances and got punished by Napoli and now Lazio tookover the field and is attacking like crazy.

But then it is also not that surprising considering that PSV has been averaging 5.5! goals per game...
Ajax won 4:0, and continued their strike, and while PSV had 22 goals in first four rounds, they are now down 2:0 against Twente, still enough time to change that, but Twente is not easy team to beat, and especially looking at three goals for a half it is what one said sometime, 1:0 wins, but every round, are winning the championship, you cannot score several goals each round, but it is important to be constant and score that one for the win each round PSV shockingly loss to Twente,no body expected this after a big start. Ajax with this win and the loss of PSV is now first alone on the table and 3 points ahead of PSV. Also another shock is around the corner Feyenord is losing 2:0 against GA Eagles and its only the 20th minute of the match
