I don't think that there is any need to even discuss about a possible manager change for Barcelona in the near future.
Because Xavi is already a good choice for the team actually. I know that they aren't successful in the Champions League still. But this isn't a problem that they cannot leave behind. Xavi just needs to create a different solution for the big games there. Otherwise they are already doing very well in the La Liga now. I think the board would continue to believe in Xavi to make this team become much better than this in time. It is better for Arteta to stay at Arsenal while doing a great job as well.
I think Xavi is the problem here,he dosent have much experience and it is costing Barcelona some serious points and getting knocked out in the champions league. West Ham is the only team to finish their 6 games in the Conference League with a win. quite prolific with 13 goals and very few conceded. although there are Fiorentina and Istanbul who are also productive and strong in scoring goals.
Besides West Ham, I'm also Villarreal's favorite. now Villarreal top group C. and their form in the League is not bad either.
West Ham isn't well in EPL, yet they managed to get all points in its group. Well teams in that group aren't top either. Same situation for Villarreal but without full points. For the other groups, games were more challenging. Now those which ended second will have hard times facing those coming from Europa League like Lazio but also the other teams! Well the problem is in their premier league style. In confrence league they are perfect because they are playing against really weaker teams. Because Union Berlin have an away game against Leverkusen. They don't even have one win in their away games against Leverkusen in their history. I know that Leverkusen are having a bad season in the Bundesliga now. But they are still the favourite according to bookmakers by 2.18 against a 3.45 odd. Besides as the Champions League group stage has ended Leverkusen can focus on the Bundesliga even more. Xabi Alonso's arrival hasn't made a big impact yet. In terms of player quality these two teams have a good squad, but in terms of performance they are very different and Inter look better. Also, in the last five head to head matches they have not dominated the win too much, and because at this moment there are still many Juventus players injured it looks like Inter will maximize it to get full points.
Juventus are still in a very difficult situation, although the players are gradually returning to the squad, Di Maria and Chiesa will play with Inter, which will significantly strengthen the midfield of the team. Inter may be looking better now, but they don't have the best results at Allianz Stadium. I love this bet and being at Arsenal is really good and I was there in this game too.
The odds are quite tempting now because this is for a big team, even though Chelsea are also quite strong, but seeing Arsenal's performance it is clear that this is more than worth it even though they are an away team in this match. But with their performance I'm actually pretty confident with Arsenal in this match.

It's a big achievement for Sivasspor. They finished the group in first place as an underdog. Slavia Prag and Cluj were more experienced teams and Slavia Prag was the favorite of this group but they were eliminated. Surely they wanted to win this game and they did everything, except to find goals early. Sivasspor managed to defend well, after the penalty goal they don't have to attack much. Rıza Çalımbay knows how to defend and keep the score. Substitutions were on point, Yatabare could play more time though. He waited until they conceded a goal. Very emotional result for both teams. Slavia Prag is shocked that they didn't win the game and even missed play-off chance. This is probably Sivasspor's biggest achievement in European competitions. I wonder how far they could go now.

I really appreciated Benfica's determination to take the lead from PSG.
They needed to get a huge win over Maccabi Haifa to do this in case PSG and them both get wins. Benfica really did it by a huge 6-1 win. Maccabi Haifa seemed to be challenging first but they couldn't prevent a disaster for them. Juventus were really lucky to keep the third position in the group. Because they could have really finished it at the last position after losing to PSG by 2-1. PSG just met the expectations and defeated them. Normally Juventus wouldn't lose this game but they are far away from their old performance.

Napoli is playing great this season, not sure how long it is going to last, but they are on top currently and Liverpool is good in Europe, but hard to imagine their play in EPL, back to per-Klopp time, when every season was full of expectations, and low on delivering those but goals should be there, I expect at least 3, and that would be my bet on this one We should see lots of goals today between these two teams,i think that Napoli wont dissapoint again today. How horrible it is indeed to see Barcelona collecting only 4 points in whole 5 games in the group stage so far. They got only one point in 4 games against Inter - Bayern Munich duo. Barcelona have a really terrible history especially against Bayern Munich and it has got worse by the games recently against them. I've seen the head-to-head record like this on the Champions League website:  13 goals against 33 goals... It's really unbelievable. Barcelona are just pyschologically weak against Bayern Munich. No matter they have Messi or not, they are still staying weak against Bayern Munich. Xavi also couldn't create a solution in both games this season. It isn't an impossible task in the end. Even Villarreal eliminated Bayern Munich in this tournament. A team like Barcelona shouldn't do less. Statisticly Xavi is doing a really really bad job with this team and they arent looking good at all. They have some of the best players in the world and just collect only 4 points in the group stage. Kooman that had a bad team and everybody hated has a bigger winning rate then Xavi in Barcelona. |

Today I must congratulate Juventus because they managed to win even if it was against an opponent that was not strong, but at least they managed to win
Good victory even though it's a narrow victory for them but it still looks quite good with the condition of their players who have a lot of gaps there because they are not filled properly considering the storm of injuries still lingers. But indeed, seeing the formation that Allegri used in this match, this is indeed a formation that looks desperate in my opinion and seems imposing. The odd was pretty huge on Juventus and that was a gift honestly. But i think that Juventus got a really hard win due to so many injured players and thankfully for them they have a huge roster but still so many missing players are hurting the team and hopefully they will all recover soon. |

I also wonder why two own goals happened to Chelsea players in that game. Because I don't think it was intentional by the two Chelsea players. Because basically every team wants to win in every game, so in general it's not an intentional thing. Now I'm watching Liverpool vs Leeds United which has already drawn 1-1, but it's only half time and there is still a chance for both teams in the next round if they want to win the game.
