I noticed crazy walls getting put up in both directions immediately before trading halted. They looked like the walls on OKcoin where all you get is two almost vertical lines with no gap in-between them. I felt something was wrong because walls like that don't happen on bitfinex.
What do you think China will do after it has too much coins? #WinkWinkThey will take profits from other exchanges as well.Especially when they can coordinate and know in advance what the moves of the plan is. And knowing that: The West follows China like a drunk Amsterdam pony!  |

WTF only BTC880 on Finex till $700  and BTC785 till $850 where did the order book go? trade has been halted for about 10m no news yet.... pray china doesnt do anything in the meantime. Bitfinex twitter: "We are experiencing platform issues. We are investigating and will resume normal operations as soon as possible." Too late!!! FOMO BTCitcoins!!! ... China just started pumping!!! |

Not so convinced this is over yet. We may go sideways from here, but we need a retest of the 6xx's (or a decent correction) before pushing a lot higher I would say.

Did any of you made even made a small thinking exercise, on the matter: What happens when BTCitcoin actually costs too much fiat paper to be bought?!?!!
How much is too much though? I mean people are buying ounces of gold at ~1400 per coin and kilobars at 42.000 per bar, so, there's definitely a looooooot of upside.
Then the spiral continues! .. and goes on.. and on.. and on!... Till fiat will be pointless... and we will have to throw Gold, Silver, Platinum, Copper, Diamonds, Marble ... on a trading platform (Crypto) BTCitcoin vs. limited Resources/Commodities/Services. Amen!
And don't worry about Debt & Derivatives! Those 2 things will disappear in the future! The Laws of reality will settle those disputes: If you can't physically hold it or touch it, you don't own it! |

How are they going to control The West with something that has marketcap of $11.6 billion? Hehe ... I was hoping when someone brought that up! ... So imagine China commies party knowing of "the BTCitcoin ponzi", ... They simply cannot allow their citizens to lose their money on a massive crash.So what is the next phase? ... well they can control the printing machines ... they have 1.4 - 1.5 billion people ... They have enough supply to pump it!!! They will probably let it fluctuate at some 2000$ - 3000$ price or more ... but they will not let it crash!!! They control the fiat, they control the BTCitcoin!And they will be able to influence The West ... just by simply making coins so expensive that they can bankrupt western exchanges if they will want to remove fiat from The West. For them, investing 1 Trillion in the coins means nothing from how many trillions they can print or "tax it from the people from a computer screen!" ... They can just make up 1 Trillion fiat!Then probably it will take some time till The West wakes up and the governments will save from bankruptcies those exchanges! ... Men who hold enough fiat to devalue it, won't buy bitcoin and people don't need bitcoin enough for fiat to be devalued. Only people who need bitcoin are prostitutes, drug dealers and inmates. We have that going for us, which is nice. However if bitcoin exists long enough, fiat is guaranteed to be devalued because of bitcoin. But currently bitcoin is for the under-serviced.

Oh boy! ... I would watch 2 things all day ... those boobs bouncing and the trading screens...
Btw ... the candles don't seem to stop... $790 < - > 805$ does not seem plausible anymore ... it will go $825 <-> 850$+ as a base for the next week.
There was a chart a few pages ago where it showed it will not go under 800$ after the 1st of July ...
But my estimates are that the miners where pleased with 450$ - 500$ ... and probably would have been satisfied with a 800$ - 900$ price per coin. At the current hash rate output.
But!!! ... the thing is that reality hit them with the notion that they will get less than half of what they where making now! ... and it will last just another 4-8 years! ... The new found wealth made the miners come to the conclusion that they can't do this forever! And they need to secure their future, by investing in something else as well. But in the meantime a temporary solution is to pump the market, control it and get the best buck for their coin!
So that 800$ - 900$ that would have been comfortable ... it is not a solution anymore! ... it needs to become 1600$ - 1800$ .. But I have a weird feeling it will not stop there!
The emotional satisfaction will be for a $2500 <-> 3500$ coin for this end of the year and during a period of next year.

Maybe you are making fun, here? But,I sense that the bitcoin space is expanding and there are various competing whales.. sure sometimes, there may be some coordinated success and signaling... yet I believe that the actors are fairly complex and diversified and sometimes work together and sometimes compete, and there are so many exchanges, too that can cause signaling and leading and following.
I'm keeping my eye on the exchanges ... and when China moves, the rest follow. The volumes seem to be "scared/affraid" in The West ... they always wait China to make the first step. The West needs a market opening for BTC ... to have more confidence or determination to lead the global price of things! And with China ... I don't really know if they are against each other in a competition. But I do know there is some kind of cartel... Imagine those miners doing more than they need... what do you think they will do with the surplus? They will try and increase the price to increase productivity! Its the only way to increase profits!!! By pumping the price! |

Is there actually any evidence or logic for such an extraordinary claim? Remember the saying that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence... ? Where is it? The thing is ... that there is a "whale" ... but .. it is not a person!It is an entity / company / group of people / communist party ... that have between 80.000BTC - 150.000BTC coins!And they work 24/7 in 3-4 shifts maybe.
