There is no doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo did not want to go to any of the teams that showed an interest in him. If this player had gone into those teams, it would have actually been a demotion for him. In addition, it has to be said that despite the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo is still one of the best players in the world, teams are not going to want a 37 year old player getting a very large salary when he might not even play for 90 minutes a game. Because they all have the focus to enhance themselves in every possible way unlike when you're still in college. These kids work hard to reach this far. Now, what they'll gonna do is to work harder than before as they just entered the league of the best basketball players in the world. So, yeah everyone is expecting for Chet to enhance his physical appearance and make it more solid.
This kid got potential as he has the skills of a guard and he still have a lot time in the NBA and a lot of time to improve. So, this 1 season he'll miss won't mean anything as long as he continue working regardless of the injury.
Aside for doing more extra efforts to became more better player they also need to do extra care since your potential will go into waste if you are injury prone player. And I guess the current injury accumulated by Chet is totally bad for his career since imagine how big the impact with it for not playing for his whole rookie season. Not good because he was expected to have a great rookie, but we can never guess what will happen, basketball is a physical sport, injury could happen anytime. Well, if he will be out for the whole season, he just have to make sure he will do everything to start strong and make a name in the NBA. Greg Oden is just like one of them. He had a really promising career but just because of injuries he could not continue playing basketball. I don’t think anything like that is going to happen with Chet. I believe he will be able to make it come back in spite of his injury. It is true that he is going to miss the current season (most probably). But I expect him to recover and come back very strong. Too bad that the young lad had to suffer an injury early in his career but it's a good preparation for his career. He already started some weight training and shooting exercises as mentioned in the article so he could be scary when he returns. Chet has a decent shot outside and he could reach Toni Kukoc's level or maybe surpass it.
It's fine he's not the only one who had hurt himself before his NBA debut and made an amazing season after that. Most likely they will still gonna have some light practice to condition their body and will gonna be ready once they are fully recovered just like Zion Williamson this upcoming season. It's not just his time yet this season and maybe when he gets back he is fully aware of what role he gonna play to further strengthen their team. Chet is out for this season if I am not wrong. Because of Lisfranc injury, he is gonna miss the 2022-23 season. I hope he is gonna recover soon. He was the number 2 draft pick by the way. This is going to be very bad news for Oklahoma City there will be missing the service office really great player which is not ideal.
