What you are thinking about Taskin Ahmed is not correct he is a bowler not a good Batsman. It is still likely to be competitive and there is also a chance of Bangladesh winning. Because the pitch helped the bowlers a lot. Bangladeshi batsmen have had a lot of trouble scoring runs. This is a good pitch for both pace and spin bowlers. So as of now, I think both teams have equal chances to win. After 5 overs, Afghanistan lost 1 wicket after collecting 19 runs. If the Bangladeshi bowlers can pick up a few distractions very quickly, the performance of the Afghanistan batsmen will slow down. The match depends on the Bangladeshi bowlers. Currently, the match is getting quite interesting with Afghanistan scoring 47 runs for the loss of only two wickets. There have been almost 10 overs played so far. Exactly i would like to say that i really enjoyed the match on AFG side as first their Bowling then their Batting Grip that was an obvious match after BAN 4 wickets loss still there was a good recovery by BAN i was expecting 122+ Runs and they did it quite hard job it was. Still they did it BAN made their pressure on the AFG after taking 1st wicket on 15 Runs but AFG Mannaged very we and on the end a more confident AFG is out here.

It is true, we are always keep in mind that there is nothing certain about cricket. We know T20 cricket is more difficult to predict. The poor performance of Bangladesh team is known to all. Perhaps, Sri Lanka will be the next qualified team from this group. I don't see any hope for Bangladesh.

In T20 matches, it is hard to defend the low totals even on the bowling friendly wickets. Teams bowling in the second innings try to defend the low totals but in the depth overs, the chasing teams know the target and they are able to chase the total. This is what happened today and in the match before that between India and Pakistan.

The best way to bet on the matches played in UAE is to place the bets after the toss and there are 80% chance of wining the bet on the team batting 2nd

I think Shakib knows his batsmen very well. Had Afghanistan batted first and given a target of 170/180, Bangladesh would have been badly beaten. This is why Shakib decided to bat first. This decision is for the Bangladesh team. If Bangladesh were able to collect like 140 they could have won this match.

At this point, Bangladesh looks like a better team for me. The presence of Shakib definitely gives them a boost. But other players need to step up, especially in the top order. The absence of Litton Das is very evident (he won't be able to play as a result of a hamstring injury). Their bowling looks more or less OK. Mustafizur and Taskin were troubling the batsmen despite not getting much support from the pitch, while the spinners also bowled well. They need to improve their depth bowling skills though.

Still, at the same time in the next decade they need to beat top teams on a regular basis too, and not just when conditions are favorable to them but in alien conditions too. Still, at the same time in the next decade they need to beat top teams on a regular basis too, and not just when conditions are favorable to them but in alien conditions too. Bongbros are just freefalling and it seems they don't have any answers.

Although the national team is not playing very frequently, Afghan players are very popular with franchise T20 leagues and they usually have a very busy schedule. That seems to have helped, given that T20 format was used for this edition of the Asia Cup. On the other hand, Bangladesh doesn't play T20 matches very regularly. Only a few of their players are active in the T20 leagues. Compared to other formats, ODI is their preferred one. Anyway there is no doubt that Bangladesh (as well as Sri Lanka) is on freefall now.
