Gringotts has processed its first withdrawal!
17 XMR has been paid out to Vigens!
Or almost 1400$!

I am currently getting someone on Fiverr to make a promotional video for Crypto Kingdom once the token is ready to launch, I'll have a couple of images made to have something simmilar to the ZrCoin thread.
I'll try to write the script for the video&images tommorow, perhaps the day later.

I have an exam on the 1st and the 5th so I'll be tight with time but I'll try to take some time for CK .

edit: another option is to appoint a proxy for Risto's accounts, IMO his 50% is too large to sit idle, someone needs to activate these accounts, either Risto or someone else

Yes, we were discussing on IRC newcorp which is part of his assets, though it wasn't immediately clear to me whether he is a majority shareholder or not. My suggestion was for the town to appoint a paid trustee to manage newcorp on behalf of the shareholders (probably with the choice of trustee approved by other shareholders). Appointing one to manage his assets more broadly is also likely appropriate.

If nothing else, protecting the value those accounts with reasonable administration will maximize probability and magnitude of the recovery to his victims.

I completely support this suggestion.
I believe there already was an option for inactive accounts to be managed by someone else previously?

As for the 10% to Town--I was fine with that when I added it to the Bounty (as per smooth's brilliant suggestion), before Loaf and iluvbitcoins shot it down--nice to see they get it now.

We can raise funding through voluntary donations, there is no need for a forced deevaluation of ones assets.

There's always an option to ICO the CKM in Ristos ownership and use the funds for development and debt repayment.
He owns 860 billion Markka.
We could auction 360 billion for game development.
Once the game grows, I believe his assets should be enough to cover his debts since he owns half of the whole game.
But I still believe the funds should be gathered by voluntary donations instead and his CKM untouched (so far) because currently all of his assets kind of belong to the creditors.

Maybe an introduction of a Patriot item with a high tax and a collecting purpose would help with the Town gathering some funds?

There is a "board" but aside from HMC and Mooo, I do not see SirJacket on the game anymore at all. HMC retains decent M ownership (roughly 100bil), as does Mooo (~25 bil), but SirJacket barely has 1bil M. Voting should be based on the level of CKO ownership, or people should at least be able to assign proxies (which can be done in these tokens) to vote for them. Of course, if we give Town 60% of the game, voting may be a moot point Tongue

Ideally board membership should be based on a combination of economic stake in the Game and activity level, if SirJacket needs to be replaced for either of these reasons then now is the time to do it, while important decisions are being made.

I would prefer 5 board members to 3, but either way, we need a full compliment asap.

If SirJacket is not available anymore, then I would nominate Loaf to be his replacement.

If a 5 member board was more desirable, then I would also nominate smooth & iluvbitcoins.

Of all the things that need doing, this might be the most important to get right, a well functioning Board.

I would be honored to accept this position if it was offered to me, however it must be noted I am in the same situation as smooth described in #720
I haven't been active ingame for a very long time, however I'm very happy to develop anything related to the game I can do.

Updated design!
Check it Smiley

Wow, the website is really improving and growing since it's beginning!

New design is nice looking.
You need add Bitcoin CASH (BTH), it will be better than Ethereum.

Who use ETH for gambling? No one Grin (I think 5% of all players)

And who use Bitcoin Cash for gambling? Do you think the number of bitcoincash gambler is higher than eth gambler? You should make a research.
Look at the fact that many big sites does not even support this coin, eth is still better than bitcoincash even though the price is under bitcoincash.

Definitely

Ethereum has almost a billion $ market cap
BCC is at 0.5 billion, but you have to consider that a lot more coins in BCC are left unclaimed and the actual supply is much lower and therefore the market cap too
2303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: August 22, 2017, 10:11:24 PM
Additionally, just focusing on E1 and B1 ignores possible losses in M3. For example, I believe binaryfate (correct if wrong) is out like almost 100 BTC worth of XMR that he deposited but was not credited for.

I'm not aware of this, but if Risto created unbacked M3 tokens then he owes that too.

I do not support redirecting Risto's assets 'for the good of the game/development' (what legitimate basis is there for that?) when there are players who got screwed by him personally having created and sold unbacked tokens who have a more clear and obvious claim against those assets.

Also, as I said before about abandoned accounts, if his assets remain frozen pending settlement of the debts (or in theory forever) that will drive up the value of the M that does float. Both the game/town and other players will benefit.

They will drive up the value equivalently to everyone who owns M, not to those with debts to be repaid.
His assets should be put on auction at a time in the future to settle his debts if it were possible.

This is an ERC20 token Smiley
2305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: August 22, 2017, 12:32:48 AM
I believe in ETH ERC20 you can specify the number of decimals, so if you went with 6 decimal places (so that the full unit equals 1 million), that is 4,000,000.000,000, so 4 million in full coins. Whatever is decided in terms of decimals or total coins, you need it where the "satoshi" unit equals one in-game unit of M. I think this would be easier for investors to understand and for anyone to implement technologically speaking. We don't want to have to worry about "dust."

With 6 decimals, we could probably do from 4 trillion or 1 quadrillion without issue (1,000,000,000.000,000 is 1 quadrillion or 1 billion "full" units). 100 trillion is 100 million. Really it's up to the community to decide on the amount outstanding. Could of course even have a reverse split to a smaller number of coins if wanted.

Any reason to do ERC20 instead of ERC23, as was initially mentioned?

Also, yes, while the ticker could be CKM, we don't have to identify what "M" is in terms of the coin name or branding. I think just "Crypto Kingdom" is fine as the token name. You can see in bold that we get the initials from the name of the token.

Yes, ERC23 is not accepted by most exchanges, it might be smarter to move with ERC20 as it's a standard token.

What if CKM was actually Crypto Kingdom Million?
Every CKM would be 1 million Markka ingame
That would work. It highlights that part of play and keeps the in-game supply the same.

Well, that was simple  Cheesy Cheesy
We need to brainstorm more xD
Also, thanks for sticking up for the gameplay.

If there is 4 trillion Markka right now, dividing it would yield 4 million CKM.
A reasonable amount and pretty easy to deal with

Do you guys agree on this or think there should be a further adjustment of the supply?
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: August 21, 2017, 02:53:43 PM
One of the points of the game is you get to roleplay as High-roller--I don't think I get to be a millionaire in fiat unless the game retains those aspects.

What if CKM was actually Crypto Kingdom Million?
Every CKM would be 1 million Markka ingame
2309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: August 21, 2017, 02:44:11 PM
I believe the coin should be designed for the game first, and for investor's perceptions second--I want a game were I'm a Billionaire, not a mBillionaire--so cut it to 400Billion, but anything under that and I'm invading someone and taking their shit.

EDIT: you could actually cut it to 100Billion and I'd still be a Billionaire, so that is the cutoff for the Bounty.

We'd still be in the top coins with the biggest supply, can we meet the demand dogecoin and byteball have?
Even if we do we'd still have issues.
Exchanges won't do the thing we do on CryptoKingdom.me, they won't show prices in millions, they'll show it in units and that's an extreme turn off.
Negative effects of the decrease are just psychological while the positive effects are physical and evident.
I believe it should be in our interest to appeal to investors since they are those who are going to increase the value of our holdings and bring attention to the game we all take part in.

Quote
The huge supply could be an issue as he pointed out, because the price on exchanges will be extremely low. That makes it difficult to trade when the spread is between 0.00000001 and 0.00000002 or even 0.00000000 to 0.00000001. In the former case the spread is enormous in percentage terms and in the latter case there is no bid because no one is willing to pay even one satoshi for a single M.

Another coin with a similar issue (Dashcoin; not Dash) but with not even as large a supply went with a 10000-1 reverse split specifically for this reason

This needs to be taken into account.

Wouldn't you like more to be a millionaire in FIAT terms than in a big supply coin?  Cheesy
2310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: August 21, 2017, 02:28:34 PM
NO. Micro transactions should be an objective and I don't want to pay 0.00000000000400 for CAN.

Bytecoin and Dogecoin are currently the coins with the biggest supply
They have 130 and 110 billions coins, we have 4 trillion  Cheesy
And their value is 0.00000029 BTC

µCKM is always an option and there's plenty of units for doing so ingame and easy trade
2311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: August 21, 2017, 02:18:37 PM

Another problem is that what is going to happen with leftover E1 and B1 now?  They should be transformed into Markka or M3.

My opinion is the debt will be settled with the sale of Ristos ingame assets after the game goes to the next level.

The decimal places maybe not, they can just be rounded down and people told not to deposit fractional amounts or they'll be lost (can be kept by the treasurer or donated to Town).

Another coin with a similar issue (Dashcoin; not Dash) but with not even as large a supply went with a 10000-1 reverse split specifically for this reason.

I would go for at least 1 quadrillion M with 1 "satoshi" = 1 M. So that is 1000000.00000000 or, with commas, 1,000,000,0.00,000,000. This way you don't have to worry about the decimal values being "lost" and also with 1mil "full" coins, you have a decent level of scarcity where you may be able to trade at a reasonable level. You could even go into the tens or hundreds of millions in "full" coins if needed and still be okay, but then you are talking about tens or hundreds of quadrillions of in-game currency.

Like I have absolutely no idea about this coin, but just was glancing on the top 100 of CMC for something I didn't know. NoLimitCoin: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nolimitcoin/#markets. 200mil outstanding, $35mil market cap, and roughly $0.17 per coin value. If we went with the same amount of coins, that is only 20,000,000,0.00,000,000 or 20 quadrillion currency units. Not saying 20 quadrillion is the place to be, but it is just an example and honestly the number of coins outstanding should be discussed.

I don't see a problem with the decimal units, as it's even good for us if people deposit the fractions since they'll be a bonus for the Town.
The supply however, yes.
Hmm, I think it would even be more beneficial to pick a low supply, it's a better marketing strategy, you're easier to hit the eye and get people to notice you when one CKM is worth a 100$ than 0.000001$.
Also, you might be interested in dogecoin or bytecoin but as soon as you see 0.0000001BTC you don't even want to count the zeroes and as it's stated you won't even notice a 1000% rise in value.

Because of this purpose I was thinking 40k, only issue I saw is it would be harder trading ingame typing . after everything
But this is so easly circumvented as it happened in bitcoin, there are always units as micro, mini etc.
mCKM should become a thing ingame if its value rises extremely

For me it seems advanteges of the low supply outweigh those of the high supply as in marketing terms and ease of use
I would like to se 40 000 CKM with a shitload of decimal spots for growing purposes and that's it
Perhaps 400k would be the best,  it wouldn't be seen as extremely scarce, but it would be rare

2312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: August 21, 2017, 01:31:28 AM
Okay, so you just went ahead and launched a token with 18 decimals? So there are 4000000000000.000000000000000000 coins? What are we going to do with all those decimal/fractional units? And, better yet, we won't even be able to trade at 1 satoshi or even 1 litoshi with 4 trillion coins outstanding. Fucking hell Huh I outlined how we could have 40k - 1mil coins outstanding and a 1:1 relationship for any decimal units.

Seems loaf has the utmost faith or why else would he push so hard for an asset that depended on PJ to help with the implementation, right?

Anyway...you won the darkside award with your well timed post ;P

I push hard for an asset as it is fucking stupid to be running a crypto game without a crypto token. Anyway, I have zero faith in PJ and think he has been massively overpaid for the quantity (i.e., minimal) as well as quality (i.e., horseshit) of development he has done. But since everyone raided the game for XMR and doesn't want to try to raise funds or hunt for a new developer, it looks like we just have Stockholm Syndrome and will keep using this same piss developer.

Do the extra decimal places have any negative effects?
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: August 20, 2017, 03:58:32 PM
I'm impressed how quickly you put this together Smiley

Well, token creation isn't very hard today  Cheesy
I have sent e-mails to a few lowkey exchanges already, so after we sort out the deposits we can launch on them immediately.
After which, we'll hit the bigger exchanges, it'll probably be easier since we're already listed on some and are somewhat established.

Also, I believe this a good marketing opportunity, we should probably create a seperate thread for CKM and pay for someone on fiverr to do a video explaining what CKM and Crypto Kingdom are!
Gathering some funds for marketing purposes would be a good way to go, especially with the token launching - marketing intensifies.

EDIT:

PJ said CKM deposit option should be done in 2-3 days.

Although the total supply is 3,999,999,999,706, I have created 4,000,000,000,000 CKM for rounding up purposes
The New 294 CKM will go to Town (I don't see why anyone would object to this?)

After which I will start contacting exchanges about the launch of CKM!

Do you plan start signature campaign? This will be good for your site.

I will get reward tommorow for my favorite signature campaig and try to play on you site.
Checked secret key file every day.. has no changes, i think that really good fair gambling site.

My opinion need increase max bet really up to 0.1-0.2 because 0.002 is very low bet..
I wait..

Do you think that this site has great amount of funds to run a signature campaign. Just take a look at their max bet which is only 0.002btc per bet, how can you ask them about signature campaign while their max bet is low? Obviously, signature campaign will not worth for them as they should spend higher amount than their max bet.

True.
But perhaps he could find some funds from his personal funds to advertise the business, it should return the investment, getting the word out.
2319  Economy / Gambling / Re: Experiment: 1% profit daily gambling over 90 days (91 days exactly) on: August 19, 2017, 04:26:41 PM
Well , in the crypto world I guess trading is more of a gambling too because there are lot of shit coins and you gotto be lucky to make some profits with that and yes ofc skill is required but crypto trading is not even close to normal trading .

Well, if you have the skill, you're probably going to understand they are shitcoins and you won't invest in them.
In gambling it's probability, not skill

But for someone with no knowledge or experience it's far better to gamble than to invest in something he doesn't understand.

I didn't understand how it works.

Who will hold the funds when users bet? Any trusted escorts or they need to send money to admin account? It looks like this forum is very new so it is better to understand more before sending money to anyone.
