2321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining is not profitable enough! on: September 03, 2021, 06:42:38 PM
The current block reward is ~300.000USD
Each block contains ~2800 transactions on average.
So far so good. That means that currently each confirmed transaction
is worth over $100. Later when there will be no block
Reward its expected that miners are paid by transaction fee.
But there is no way people are gonna pay 100$ Worth of btc per transaction.

Let’s be realistic and say people will pay 2$ per transaction. This is only 2% of the
reward of the current mining system.
Yes, for now transaction fees are not enough, and moreover I don’t think there is any payment method where you will have to be something more than for a little transactions, unless for huge amount of transaction. For now the way that miners can be making their profit is through the reward they receive from mining and the transactions fees they are getting can be a bonus.

By the time all the bitcoins are mined, which is going to be a very long time, there will be a solution to how miners are going to profit from the market. And by the way, by then there will be lots of transactions on the blockchain, and maybe the mining wouldn’t be as difficult and energy-wasting as it is now.
2322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 03, 2021, 05:29:41 PM
I personally don't really believe with Ansu Fati, even though Fati is a dropout from La Masia, like Messi but they shouldn't have high hopes for him either. I agree with the words "burdened", because currently Fati is still suffering from injuries and at his young age I personally would not have too much hope for him. Because Messi himself initially took time and went through many seasons to finally be trusted to wear the number 10, if Fati who is basically young and still needs more playing hours then saying he is a substitute for Messi is not something that is right and I'm afraid it will only make a blunder.
I don't believe in Ansu Fati too. He has played 31 matches for Barcelona in La Liga. And he has scored 11 goals in 31 matches. I don't think he should have been given the number 10 jersey right now. This jersey should have been given to him after making him more experienced. In at least one season, Barcelona could have kept the number 10 jersey off someone in honor of Messi.
It is 100% guaranteed that they did it to show Messi how they do not care that he left. This is typical move of someone who just got out of relationship, like sharing pictures outside having fun and so forth so that your ex could see you having fun. They gave Ansu Fati number 10 not because they believe in him neither, you are acting as if they believe Ansu will be amazing, they do not believe that at all, they would give the number 10 to me if they could just because they want to tell Messi that number 10 is not special and already distributed to someone else, they want to make sure Messi sees it and feels bad about it.

But, I also do not pity Messi neither, look at Barcelona they got rid of so much money, if Messi took €1 salary or even 10 million, then they would have kept him, but Messi wanted more and more which is why it is obvious that he deserves his number 10 to be given to anyone.
2323  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish or nuts? Fidelity predicts $100M bitcoin in 2035 on: September 03, 2021, 06:11:21 AM
I don't know what to think anymore, until not too long ago, professional investors either dismissed Bitcoin or said it was a scam, a ponzi scheme etc. Now it seems that they are changing their minds Saylor's style. In the case of Fidelity, it's not that they have changed their mind, as they started mining in 2014, but they have just come off the hook with a prediction that a couple of years ago would have seemed too crazy to us:
We can’t say for sure, but with time we will get to know whether it will reach that or not. But anyways, that is a very long time, so I am not bothering myself what’s going to happen then, for now let’s think of the future that’s nearest before we talk about what’s going to happen in so many years.

I can’t tell you for sure where we are really heading with this, but I know very well that companies like this are fond of over expectation, they always say things that are impossible to happen at a particular time. Although I am not saying it’s not possible, but happening at that time? I can’t really believe it.
2324  Economy / Economics / Re: What could make a hacker return stolen $600m crypto on: September 02, 2021, 09:18:27 PM
Maybe he returned it because he cannot withdraw it anyways, his address were flagged already in all exchanges that's why he doesn't have the choice but to return it.  Grin He said he just did it to test the security protocol but I would say he just bluffing and just run out of place because for sure he will be caught eventually.
But he always has a choice to just let it float in the wallet instead, he made an effort to give it back. That's the twist.
If you are a hacker and you are cornered you will just let it go and move on. Maybe come back years after and try if you can salvage something.
IMO, he really wants to prove something. Who knows if he is really part of their team before as white hat hackers but was kicked out and now he tried to look for the flaw and attack it as means of revenge or just so they could realize that he is a loss to their team.
I do agree that there was a proving point for sure, there is no doubt about that, if he was a truly a bad person all he had to do was do nothing, yeah sure maybe he can't spend the money but at least he could have simply hold it there and he would still be a bad person with a lot of money, he could have even spent it as in send it to some people in exchange of some services, or hell he could have done p2p in some places as well, would have taken a lot of time but if he could find people who are unaware of the situation he could have done that, or he could have used ATM machines that had these coins as well, not common but maybe there are some.

Long story short this is something that could have been done, I know it is not common but this guy turned out to be a good person for sure.
2325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people buying NFT on: September 02, 2021, 08:35:20 PM
I just wonder why people buying NFT artworks like cryptopunks. I am not against NFT and I love it. I actually own some NFT games accounts like CB, Axie, Dpets because I am earning from it.. But for NFT artworks can you tell me what is the benefits. And why some of the people buying it?
I understand that they see it as an investment and it is definitely something profitable to keep making money with something while also the price of it going up, but defi was like that as well and only a handful of places left after the hype is over. There were hundreds of pancakeswap copycats in the world and right now there are only like 5-10 good places in BSC while all others suck, so that means is maybe axie infinity could stay a bit relevant but all others may suck in the future.

I just do not know how long it will go, I can afford to get 3 axies and start fighting, I learned about it very well and I could pick great 3 axies for as cheap as possible as well, watched a lot of videos to learn about it. However that doesn't mean that I will do it, only because I have no idea if it will continue like this for a while or if it will start to suck in a month, no idea how long it will go.
2326  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: September 02, 2021, 07:10:45 PM
What's up with DS participating in this? We can still share the prizes if we hold out until the last day lol and 5mbtc is around $240 at the current rate so its kinda expensive, perhaps we might have less players compared with the last one. Well I'll opt-in this contest and check if it is worth to continue until the last day for atleast the first 15 days.
Apparently, some of us have misunderstood something, since in my understanding you have to place a bet of 5 mBTC every day for at least 70 days. As a result, there is a 50% chance of losing your bet, and if you are such an unlucky guy like me, you will have to lose 5 mBTC every day. That is why I said that it is desirable to have 0.5 bitcoin on the account, since 5 mBTC * 70 = 350 (+ 150 mBTC if the competition continues). And judging by the fact that the final date of December 31, the final amount will be even greater.
I would say that if you keep on gambling that much, eventually you will of course end up losing, but that's not really the big important part, as long as you believe that you could win the whole deal than you should definitely end up testing it out, and of course if you have the money for it as well.

Sometimes you end up losing just the bet and end up winning the competition and most people who join this one should be like that as well, do not consider about what you may lose along the way, focus on what you could win in the future. I would say that gambling this much could be too high for some people and the best bet is to not wager at all if you do not have the money for it, after all why should you lose all that money when you are already broke just to have a chance of bigger? If you can't win the bigger then you will just be losing, so start with big amount if you can afford to.
2327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL vs Staking, What is the best strategy? on: September 02, 2021, 06:24:33 PM
Staking is another way to earn passive income while holding your coin. You need to know that not all crypto that do staking. Some does do staking so you need to do appropriate research on cryptocurrency that conduct staking for there investing to earn while holding. Staking can also be dangerous cause if eventually the site got hacked, all coins will be lost leading to bad luck that's why we should not put all our eggs in one basket.
I stake coins within the Exodus wallet and seems pretty safe but I cannot recommend anyone else to do the same because while I have a small number of coins I am staking, I don't want people to stake huge amounts. You cannot stake bitcoins either in the exodus wallet so it doesn't matter too much for bitcoin investors. To me, the logic is simple. If you have a mammoth amount of holdings, just hold them tight. If you have small amounts and not looking for future value, just stake them and earn some free extra coins.
2328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Addict on: September 02, 2021, 05:03:27 AM
Whenever I close my eyes, I see the bitcoin logo and price just like the way it is on my device at first I thought it was normal and will fade away with time but it has persisted to this very moment while I was discussing with my other Bitcoin lovers they told me that now an addict.
Addiction isn't the correct word for this, I think you are just obsessed with Bitcoin and the price. It might be a consequence of thinking too much about Bitcoin and/or doing nothing else but checking the price and counting your coins. When I first accumulated 1 BTC a few years back, I felt the same problem. I didn't have the logo in front of me when I closed my eyes, but I was suffering from insomnia and would wake up late at night suddenly to check the price.

Maybe you should try and focus on other activities and distance yourself from the crypto world for a few days or a week. This happens with everyone at some point, so don't worry too much and it's nothing serious either. Students have the same problem during exams.
2329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: September 01, 2021, 06:14:17 PM
People from there can simply use their credit cards to buy cryptocurrencies and deposit them to a bookie that's supported in their country. That's just one way and for sure that gamblers there will find several ways to continue what they've been doing.
I think crypto gamblers are quite limited and if such a method is being exploited, there might be some action against such transactions as well. Actually, people can also deposit the money to skrill and Neteller and then gamble quite easily but I am sure there must be some rules on these transactions too. Maybe e-wallets transactions made by credit cards are not allowed to gamble as well.

At least on their government, they're showing that they care for those people that just kept on using their credit cards in gambling. There's two factor that's being done, stopped them from using their credit cards unwisely and controls them to become addicted.
I don't understand why they can't impose a ban on gambling if they are actually worried about it. It's similar to government ads about how harmful the consumption of tobacco is but still allowing those to be sold in the market.

Either you wipe the problem or don't pretend to speak against it. I don't like these political moves, they earn a lot from casino taxes so they want the casinos to run but at the same time, they want to look good among their people.
2330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: September 01, 2021, 06:58:08 AM
I agree that KYC will just incentive people to fake documents and to have less privacy
nothing new under the sun for governments

but this also brings the possibility for people to create permissionless Dapps for gambling that have no KYC and are provably fair
Casinos with provably fair games like Dice are almost always going to operate with KYC and all those stuff. Casinos that have third-party slots and games are more likely to ask for documents because these providers pressure the casinos.

Fake verification is quite a hilarious trend in the market. There are people selling their identity to big players and even allowing them to get postal verification and anything else they might require. There's nothing the casino or the government can do when someone is selling their identity cheaply and the player simply uses a VPN for his country.
2331  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial freedom and success comes from knowledge on: August 31, 2021, 09:26:37 AM
Financial freedom is everyone's dream, when I invest then I hope to get big profit. I have tried various investments such as stocks and futures exchange, but all of them just give promises without proof, now i know crypto and this is a good opportunity to improve my money up to 100x in a year and I immediately get financial freedom.
This is exactly why many people are in the crypto world, because they know that they could make a decent return on their investment for once without getting someone else rich. There are stocks and forex and gold and many other things but in crypto you are properly actually making money and that is the great thing.

I understand that it may not be a huge deal for now, it is decent and everyone at least heard about it but it is not as big as gold whereas I believe in 10-20 years it will be even bigger than gold for sure. At that time we all will be rich, and it is the best investment you could make right now, even at this price, because it is going to get really expensive. Until that day comes, all we have to do is buy as much as we can afford without ruining our finances (do not buy more than you can afford) and then just hold on to them so that we could profit.
2332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: August 30, 2021, 05:24:37 PM
Please advise which one is best. Which one is more profitable? Crypto trading or Forex trading?
This question had been asked so many times, and the answer is that both crypto trading and forex trading are the same. If you’re not skilled, you’re not going to make any profit in any of them. So, they both require that you take time and learn it to be good enough to make profit. And the both types of trading carries risk, you can lose money in any of them. They are very similar to each other. The difference between the two of them is forex is regulated while cryptocurrency is not. Though in terms of being profitable, I think that you will be able to make more profit from trading cryptocurrencies because of how volatile it is.
2333  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥NEW game CRYPTOS release 🔥 |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| 📈HotBit listing on: August 30, 2021, 10:33:55 AM
I was surprised when I saw some people talking about promotions and I checked it out right away but didn't find anything there was only a battles, I still believe that promotions are not typical Betfury  Roll Eyes

They are not active in the campaign even when the sportsbook launch is no offer, Betfury wants to grow naturally and expects players to come voluntarily
That hope is seen when I see 7000-8000 players online every day even in the chat room is active every 5 minutes.
I wouldn't really be saying that 7-8k is a good number not because that is not a good thing if it actually happens, but do you know how many messages there were when I checked? 4 in the last 1 hour. Yes it showed 10k people, and 4 messages in the last 1 hour. I do not think that people really care about chatting too much and that could be fine but I really do not think that 4 messages in 1 hour shows there was actually 10k people there, it could be much much less and just the number is ballooned up to make it look like they have so many customers, that seems like a possibility to me.

Finally, we are not going to build something that will be insanely profitable here if we just promote it to ourselves and try to convince ourselves, we should be able to do that with ease and try to go out and convince other people, but if 10k people messaging just 4 times in 1 hour total is a problem, then I think we have to first handle things in most basic parts.
2334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 30, 2021, 06:08:43 AM
Replacing Jadeja will backfire, as he has scored crucial runs under pressure. Among the middle and lower order batsmen, he seems to be the one in best shape right now. Remove Jadeja from the middle order and the Indian middle order will be exposed by the England pacers. Also, his spin has provided the much needed variation, supplementing the pace bowlers (even in England pitches where not much help for this type of bowling can be expected). If anyone has to be dropped, it has to be Ishant, after his poor performance in the third match.
India must need to consider the problems of middle order but unfortunately they are having too wreaked middle orders and I am not sure they will dare to bench their skipper Kohli. In my opinion they must consider to play Shaw to open (KL Rahul for 5th down) and for 6th down, Surya Kumar Yadhav might be a right choice and this way they may bench Rahane and Pant (KL Rahul will take care of wicket keeping). For the balance of experienced and new players, Pujara and Kohli may retain their spots.
2335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: August 30, 2021, 05:32:45 AM
It's been so long since they've been doing that. The ICO has passed, the IEOs and as well as the new craze, the NFTs. They've been doing that and deceiving a lot of investors.
Because it's easy to make a new coin through contracts and chains, these scammers will do everything to make their project and swindle the money of the innocent investors especially the newbies.
That's why just follow the standard protocol of research when investing in a new, whatever if it was ICO, IEO, NFT or anything similar to the new craze in the future. If you do your research properly, you won't get scam by lazy new coins base on smart contracts or smart chains unless you're really unlucky/.
Sometimes things just fail, and not scam not steal not hacked, just fail. That is the hardest thing to figure out. I have seen projects who had amazing founders team, amazing idea, amazing budget, and still failed because people didn't care enough about it at all.

It was basically an idea to make crypto ecommerce world, all the amazon, ebay and so forth stuff that you know, it would be like that with its own coin as well as chain tied to products as well and they actually had thousands upon thousands of products as well which was awesome, tested it, got the delivery as well, it was seriously just amazing. What happened? I happen to just end up with a shitcoin because people just didn't want to buy stuff from there, since people didn't use that place, the price couldn't stay high and it tanked. There were no bad people involved, the idea just tanked.
2336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Every altcoins has chance on: August 29, 2021, 08:57:20 PM
Maybe an insider within a pump and dump group signals? Fck these pump and dump groups.
I'm not using it but maybe there are some groups of whales that are in a group where they will choose to pump a coin that they want and dump it. Well, of course you need to pay if you want to join to it.

If you are asking for a specific website that is sharing which altcoin specifically will go up then unfortunately there aren't and websites like that exists right now then no one must be losing money in trading. Give time to learn trading. Those experts in trading took many hours learning and researching before reaching their spot right now. Do the same, don't rely on websites and pump and dump groups Smiley.
Pump and Dump groups can make you money only if you are the one who created that group. In the end there is no way that you could make money being a participant because they are using you to make a profit, they buy before they tell you, then they tell you then all of us make it go high, they first sell it, then they tell us to sell as well, making everyone lose money, mostly do not even tell everyone to sell, just let it be.

The best place that you can check out is still twitter/reddit/bitcointalk trio, those places tell you all you need to know as soon as it happens, it is sure fire way to be informed about everything the moment it happens, and that is how you could make money. I am not saying it is guaranteed to make money that way, but at least it is better than all other places and options that we have, gives us the information we need before everywhere else.
2337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 29, 2021, 05:12:45 PM
There is information that Paris Saint-Germain has targeted Haaland in this transfer window and seems to be ready to pay 200 million euros, so there is a high probability that they will not ignore all the proposed amounts for Mbappe. At least, the PSG president had previously stated that the club wanted 230 million for Mbappe and he did not change this position. There is also information that Real Madrid has issued an ultimatum, informing PSG that if the deal is not agreed by the end of August 29, the club will refuse this deal. Therefore, at least very soon there will be clarity on this issue. On the one hand, I agree with you about the destruction of the transfer market by Paris Saint-Germain, but on the other hand, I would like to ask you. And how else can clubs from other countries compete on transfer issues with Real Madrid, Barcelona and English clubs that skim all the cream from this market?
It is not about if PSG would want Haaland or not, EVERY team in the world would want Haaland, that kid is the greatest striker of this new generation, and when Mbappe leaves they are going to need someone to replace that void, which can't be replaced that easily, after all this is mbappe we are talking about and you can't just have anyone there to make up for it.

What I believe will happen however is that Dortmund will want way too much, that is the reason why Haaland is still there as well, kid is just what 21-22 years old? Wanting 150+ for that kid is a weird one, he is definitely good and looks like he will worth that much but asking for that much now when he is so young is a bit unfair, he should be more like 100 at the most which many teams would have paid. PSG would definitely want Haaland but they may not be willing to pay 200 million for him as well.
2338  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: August 29, 2021, 03:42:14 PM
Have you seen the review itself? I believe it has all the answers to your questions.
I am not against the KYC procedure, but this one should not be used to slow down the withdrawal. It takes 5 minutes for the support agent to receive and check the documents.
I understand you are critical of some points but I would like to share my opinion as well. I am not siding with Fortunejack or you but just stating what I feel after reading the review.

You have given them 2/5 for minimum withdrawal basically but if you check any reputed casino, no one processes withdrawals smaller than 2mBTC so suddenly 4 mBTC shouldn't be so much of a surprise.

1/5 for promotions isn't really valid either because ForuneJack does a lot of promotions. I don't participate but I do get notifications from them so I know something is happening all the time.

I am sorry I am discussing your review here on the official FortuneJack thread but I felt as a player for years, I should share my own views.
2339  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 28, 2021, 06:18:16 PM
If you plan to utilize bitcoin for trading, it makes sense to do so even if you expect it to rise steadily. You'll have to trade it for cash, and part of it will only be traded for stable coins. People will use BTC if it becomes widely accepted that we can buy something with it. I believe El Salvador is an example of this, where BTC is used to purchase goods in local stores.
It is like this, and assuming that all people have different needs, it is normal that those people when they have economic emergencies do not hesitate to sell a fraction of BTC.

When we trade there are many ways to look for money, the main one, the one that many are governed by is looking for Dollars or Euros, either in USD, USDT, among others, and other traders seek to accumulate as many satoshis as possible (When it comes to BTC) others with alts, but very few believe that BTC will always grow, because few understand the stages of the market, among which are the accumulation and Distribution stage.

When people see that BTC fell, many say that it was a bubble, it will not rebound, even people of great repute, such as Schiff, and other people who are a role model like Warren Buffet, who do not believe in BTC or cryptocurrencies. , and if cryptocurrencies allow you to pay, resolve and make any purchase, why not use it? you can use half of what you have in crypto and the other half is put into "Hodl" mode and you will never lose.
I do not think that we should care about all those other elder generation saying bad stuff about crypto because it makes no sense to me at all, but at the end of the day it is us who are involved in crypto that makes decisions and decide on what bitcoins direction will be like.

I do not believe that warren buffet has any bitcoins, but even if he does, he doesn't care about it and it is a tiny sliver of what he has total, so that means that he is not deciding factor on bitcoin all by himself, but when he says something bad about it, and everyone else gets scared about it and sell their bitcoins because of it? Then dude didn't spend a single dime to drop the price by just influencing others. That's the type of thing that we should be avoiding, Elon Musk did the same thing for both making it go up and also making it go down, we should not make trading decisions based on others peoples words.

i think people talks about the signature campaign payments as this is also a Money matter and a company obligation , meaning if they cannot process withdrawals
then there are some question in financial system of the company in which also the concern of the signature participants.
yeah in some way this is different in perspective but in totality this is related mate .

the Financial position of the company stands for Players Withdrawals and also the campaign participants payments .
That is exactly it. Both the withdrawals and the signature campaign is a proof of how much availability lightlord has, and how much he spends time on things. When you pay the signatures once a month that is still fine enough that people join because they know that eventually they will be paid, it may take some time to get paid but they will get paid. On contrary to that, if he fills up the hot wallet just once a month, then people will withdraw and then will have to wait a whole another month to get the hot wallet filled again, that is the biggest difference and that is the problem.

So, withdrawal is definitely a bigger issue, but that doesn't change the fact that it is still an issue and they have the same reasons, why people do not get paid weekly like they suppose to and why people can't withdraw have the exact same reason: lightlord not being online enough.
