Holy shit guys yahoo makes it a fucking nightmare to edit that shit last minute.
I was waiting on all these timer bars with blanked out screens and they just like to hide all the fucking settings all over the place.
I was sweating balls trying to get it done before 7 as I was worried it would cancel our draft time and i remembered you cant set a new time less than a 2 day wait!
I was thinking if it didn't work then we could do a private mock draft and i'd edit all the guys in, glad we didnt have to go that route.
Well you remained calm enough under pressure to resolve the sitch, which I appreciate b/c I would have been pretty bummed otherwise. So that's good, qualities that make a good commissioner great. I think they are trying to force everyone into the Y+ package to get easy access now that they have the market cornered.
Gotta say, ESPN's draft experience was cleaner this year. I did one with them yesterday, it was just a lot easier to see pertinent info than Yahoo, which was a bit crowded, partly due to that bottom banner ad. Anyway, the job is done. Feeling pretty decent. Guess I'm gonna be a Buffalo fan this year. Good luck to all.

Yo WTF
I hope we can start in 7 mins

Just finished a draft for my other league... 12-man, took about 1 hr 6 mins... pretty fast. Didn't get my first pick of choice, hopefully I will tomorrow. It was a good warm-up. Good luck to all. Kind of crazy number but I'd say he adds more to the world than any of these scumbag tax dodging billionaires.
Absolutely...

As has already been pointed out on this thread, there is an NFT section. It's just that nobody cares to dig through the shitcoins sections to find it. I even made a post about an NFT collection today. You can't make people care though. If a free NFT project from Mila Kunis and Seth Green can't get a response here, you have to wonder if there's really demand to learn about NFTs or if people just want another outlet to try and sell you stuff they made for free.
Here's the problem with this: Not all NFTs are on altcoin blockchains. Arguably, some of the best NFTs are on Bitcoin. So relegating their discussion to Altcoin Announcements -> Tokens doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
I'd like to know where this thread should be, and I won't accept Tokens (Altcoins) as an answer, because they are in no way "altcoin tokens": Forum NFTs - immortalize your profile on the BTC blockchainI initially posted it in Goods, which I thought was reasonable, but then it was moved to Tokens. What I'm really trying to create are collectibles, though I understand that sub-board is mostly physical items. These are Bitcoin goods, for sale for BTC. They are unique items -- nobody here has done anything like this before, except for maybe theymos (the main difference is my NFTs are real). They are not altcoins. So what's the best place for this topic?

there's a lot of shitcoin out there and they tried to copy the bullshit behind this coin, but they failed
That's because its secret, patented bullshit. An original blend of 11 herbs and spices, the recipe lives only in my head. they should know that there is only one SHITCOIN in the market since 2014 and this is Shitcoin 3.0
There can be only one.

Good... you're on the right track, and that's about all you can do. Good luck!

I voted "Yes" but I think it will be temporary and will end the month at below $2k.
Seems The Merge is too obvious a play to assume it will keep going up all the way through Sept 15, when the fork is estimated to occur.
Though I thought for sure we'd be higher than the $1500s. I don't own any ETH, sold the last of it last month, but good god my other crypto bags are going stale. When will we break out of this funk? Hopefully the answer is "this month" as Wall Street comes back from summer vacation.

So, the Shitcoin bounty was a complete flop, and I had more questions from bounty hunters about how to sell their earnings than we sold total shitcoins. But you know what? It's not an easy sale, trying to sell shitcoins under current market conditions. And hell no, we're not giving up, because a good shitcoin never gives up! As a matter of fact, we've re-opened our Signature Campaign where you can earn up to 4,000 SHITCOINs a week! So feel free to join us if you think you have what it takes. Hey, this could be the highest-paying signature campaign ever, if 1 SHITCOIN = $1, as technically it has reached way more:

you changed profile pic ... nose, grin smile, eye ... and a KKK hat ? :-)
No way, its a smiling white turd with a brown eye. I asked DALL-E to generate a Shitcoin logo and that's the best one it came up with. BTW... you really need to do something about this, the new owner of your old account is a rancid shitposter: The best way to laugh every day is to check out this guy's post history. He's such a great thinker. User: jkoil...
Anyone interested in selling me some low-quantity mosaics? I am especially interested in ones that have image data attached to them (via image hash or URL pointing to image file)... The older the better.

I would much rather have the token point to my own hosted json file.
OK, feel free to send me a PM and we'll hammer out the details. The bug was reported to counterparty at least 2 years ago if not more. Sub assets cannot be modified once they leave the wallet of the parent asset. But I still want mine
Hmm I did not know that, have never tried to change a description after sending one.
I changed my profile pic just to test out how it would update in the block explorer, and it updated near instantly -- faster on xchain than the forum. Pretty cool.

Anyway thanks for including me in the campaign.
Sure. The avatar is not required, but I just made 2 special ones for the campaign, because why not: To those who are wearing my GOLDENSHIBE hat, that's fine too if you want to keep using that one: Accepted, thanks for joining.

P.S. the Nakamoto Pepe cards you just displayed are also in this category. The truth is, it is quite easy to reproduce if you have basic art skills (or just use a website that does it for you).
The value behind the NFT has very little to do with subjective perceptions of the quality of the art. The art isn't even attached to the token on a blockchain level, by URL or image hash, or anything. The reasons why it commands a huge price tag include: - its token name (RAREPEPE -- it was in essence the first Rare Pepe) - its age (a week shy of being 6 years old, which is nearly ancient by NFT standards) - its scarcity (it was created with a total quantity of 300 tokens, many of which are out of circulation) - it represents the beginning of a new use for Bitcoin technology (making collectibles, more or less) It actually cannot be "reproduced" whatsoever. The essence of its existence is secured on the blockchain, just like your bitcoin. You can make forgeries, but those in the know will be able to spot them. Think of it like a baseball card. Looks a bit low-quality, and not a very impressive portrait. Yet these sell for millions of dollars. Why? Because they are scarce, very old, and made back when hardly anybody else was making baseball cards. Age or historical-ness of NFTs certainly isn't the only reason they are collected -- they are collected for all sorts of reason. But the vast majority require perpetual hype to sustain elevated floor prices, and yeah, a lot of them are scams. To answer your question, if you think NFTs have been "ruined," then its the same forces that ruined the name of bitcoin or crypto that are to blame -- mainly greed. This space just attracts a lot of incredibly greedy people. It always has. But once the meaningfulness of the technology can be separated from instinctual connotations, people can go a lot farther in understanding what beneficial uses it actually possesses.

These are my favorite types of arguments that people use against the prospect of having to learn something new: "We own the high ground by continuing to not understand the subject of discussion." Pretty much all the counterpoints being made in this thread come from a place of arrogant ignorance, and they largely overlap with the same arguments that no-coiners have been making against bitcoin for years: - NFTs are a fad - they're not real - they're not backed by anything - they're a ponzi scheme - they have no utility. Well, you're wrong, just as no-coiners are often wrong in their attacks on bitcoin. Its just more comfortable to make sweeping generalizations and stick with them forever than make slight alterations to your world view in light of new information. Two RAREPEPEs (Nakamoto Cards) Purchased in Same Dayhttps://twitter.com/EmblemVaultBot/status/1563077252983635969Two wrapped RAREPEPE cards (the original & most valuable Rare Pepe) were sold within a few hours of each other; one for 6.64 BTC (~$142,400) and the other for 6.54 BTC. This is huge, not only in dollar terms and significance, but because the new price floor for these cards in now 12 BTC.

Okay, how is it possible to check the potential of the coin and get sure that it will bring a good income to you? Even Bitcoin loses so much for not the first time that it's impossible to predict what will happen and when. So how can anyone be sure in smaller altcoins?
Yes, of course you're right. And if the fall is definitely temporary for bitcoin, then for other projects it may turn out to be a fatal collapse. That's why I'm getting more and more interested in organically growing projects. Just FYI, its quite obvious you've been talking to yourself this whole time. Both Starkick and Sethrey are your accounts. What are you hoping to accomplish exactly? Almost nobody reads this forum except for shitposters-for-cash, and they could care less about whatever it is you think you're advertising. I suspect you've also somehow convinced somebody to give you a few sheckels for promoting whatever pump-of-the-day is available, though in a more roundabout way? Genuinely curious. Thanks for your clarification.
