if you don't have enough money to buy food from, you probably have invested money you can't miss in bitcoin. or you are just selling your earned coins? that's another story.

there is no point in waiting for bitcoin to reach 1 million. that's an insane valuation. keeping a price target in mind of around $1000 is more than enough for a lot people in let's say 2 years time.

i understand that people would love to see bitcoin get faster confirmation times. i would love faster confirmations too. but we have to be realistic and know that this is not something that will be implemented within a few years, if ever. forget it.

i think it was a talk show where a geek was talking and explaining some basic things about about bitcoin. i knew bitcoin before that, but i was purely seeing it as an investment. due to that geek i went a bit further and started seeing bitcoin as being more than just an investment.

my guess is that we will touch the $500 price level again this month, but i don't mind it if the price stays in the current range. it allows people to buy more. it's much better if we go up slowly. i prefer a 10% growth in a month over a 10% growth in less than a day. what goes up quick, may come down quick.

yes. i have been buying coins each month when it was well below $300 for quite some time. i am even planning to hold further than the $500 price level. maybe that i will take a few profits to buy myself something cool, or i will hold my coins at least till when the block halving is completed.

hitting the $500 price level is not the problem. the real challenge will be maintaining that price level. it will require a lot buy support if we don't want to let it get dumped to lower $400 range or even below $400 as when it did early november. i really hope the demand is high enough to stay above $500.

i don't want bitcoin to become the same as paypal. it will be much better than paypal has ever been. i think paypal will accept bitcoin with open arms at some point in the future as they know bitcoin will overtake them. if you can't beat your enemy, join them.

paypal has great advantages for buyers. and where is the protection for sellers? if some one charges back his money, then the dude has his money back, and he also has the item he had bought from the seller. i will always choose bitcoin. paypal is pure crap.

we are far above $400 now. currently $450 to be more precise. sub $300 isn't something that makes people worry right now. in 2016 sub $300 won't even come into people's minds. we can even see a new ath in 2016. don't think it will be the year of bitcoin, but it will definitely be an important year.

i don't think it will fall that hard as when it did the previous time when it touched $500. i think it will stay above $500 and go even higher than that. we just need to have patience.

bitcoin atm's are a great addition. not sure why you think there is no need for them. people must be able to exchange fiat and bitcoin back and forth. that will stimulate the adoption of bitcoin. i hope there will be more and more bitcoin atm's around the world.

why didn't you buy when you had the chance at sub $300 prices. if you had bought the amount of coins you wanted, you would enjoy seeing the price go up. people who haven't bought because they waited too long, are not happy when the price is going higher and higher.

people change their predictions very often. one day they think the price will reach $500 easily before the end of this year. and the other day they think it will go back to below $400 to stay there till next year. i have seen so many people do this lately. they don't know what to say or think anymore.

i think that's a bit too early. my guess is that we will see $1000 at the end of 2016. if it happens before that, then it's of course better.

nah. i am not planning to sell at this price. if it indeed goes lower, then it's fine too. i am holding, any price the comming weeks is not important to me. i look at the bigger picture. if it goes down a lot, for example to lower $300 levels, then i might buy to increase my coins. i don't think that will happen.

nothing. every one here is saying things with a purpose. they either want you to sell all your coins, or make it look like it is the best time ever to buy. i do my own research before buying.

the absolute bottom right now is $400. i think it will hold. the months that are comming towards us won't be stable. the closer we come to the block halving, the more volatility we will see. i expect the start of the new year to be really volatile as people will panic buy in order to not be too late to buy.

i really think we will start 2016 with a price higher than $400. there is simply too much demand at this point. if for whatever reason the demand falls back significantly this year, then we might go to $350 levels again. but i think that won't happen. just look at the next difficulty increase.... it says enough.

it looks like it will hold the $400 price for more than a day. people are supporting the price with adding buy orders. that's definitely a good sign. if we even manage to go higher to around $430-$450 then we surely will stay above $400.
