1421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: April 13, 2016, 05:32:49 PM
It's not worth it trying to invest bitcoins in any sites which claims to offer X percentage. You much safer and better off just to hold on to your coins and try and exploit profits out of the price movements.

Exactly right now holding the earned bitcoins safely is the best form of investment than getting caught in hands of fraud sites who promise of multiplying your bitcoins. One major reason for holding is halving.

yep, what surprises me time on time again is that certain people always look to invest their precious coins into something that looks soo shady, but still they don't care and they invest in these sites anyway. weird people.....
1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: April 13, 2016, 05:18:31 PM
The bitcoin is way better than the western union and its logical that its better because of the fact that the bitcoin is faster and also better secured.
Compared with the western union, its very slow, if you want to transfer money globally it take ages to get it over to another country, with the bitcoin its just minutes away to globally transfer money to a relative as a example.
bitcoin is can't compared with western union,i think like that because bitcoin almost better than money, and its have different object with western money, money and bitcoin are two different thing.

no matter what you say or do, people will keep comparing bitcoin with western union and paypal and other services. it's because they are bitcoin rivals. and i can't blame them for doing that. i also agree that bitcoin is a better alternative to these payment services, but we have to accept the fact that the average joe's put more faith in these services than in bitcoin as it is right now. and that must change.
1423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going down on: April 13, 2016, 05:13:42 PM
Bitcoin is now finally getting interesting again with the price slowly going up again people are now using Bitcoin. So I do not believe that Bitcoin is going down at the moment.

it's not interesting at all with the volumes being this low. there is literally nothing changed so far. we have seen the price go up to these levels before and even higher before it got dumped down again. and i think the same will happen again. nothing indicates that the price will go higher or lower. market is still the same.
1424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy BTC now or wait for a lower price? on: April 13, 2016, 05:09:43 PM
it's not worth waiting for the price to go down a few bucks. just buy today and make sure you have some money left that you can use to buy when the price drops significantly below your previous buying price. that way you can benefit from the price that goes lower.
1425  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC hit $429....let the runup to the halving begin on: April 13, 2016, 03:15:59 PM
Let's not get too much optimistic here. It's just a little bump. Pretty sure bitcoin price is still at a stable phase. Let us not rush it people. Bitcoin will release it's storm.
The time will come.
Soon.
Very soon.

well said. there is no point in getting excited just because the price increased a few bucks. i don't get excited as long as we are below the $500 price level. everything above that will be welcomed with open arms. it only takes around 1400 bitcoins to dump the price back to the $415's that we are very familiar with. so keep that in mind before getting too happy.
1426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to the 300s we go. on: April 13, 2016, 03:10:52 PM
I do not hope that this is going to happen again. The price is just going up so for it to go down again would be a real let down. But for the people who want to buy coins it would be a good thing.

there is no reason for the price to dive under the $300 price level as there is no bad news, no whales that are about to unload tens of thousands of coins. right now the focus is up and not down, so don't worry.
1427  Economy / Economics / Re: [POLL] Will 1 BTC reach 1M $ comparable value in 10 years? on: April 13, 2016, 03:05:09 PM
Say what you think!
No it will not. I know that people are hoping for something like this to happen so they will not have to work ever again. But I think it will not be that high, maybe in the thousands could be possible.

it's quite pointless at the moment to think about prices higher than $1000 while we haven't even managed to break through the $500 and the $600 price levels. thinking or dreaming about prices of $1000 is one thing, but thinking or dreaming about bitcoin reaching $1 million is beyond insane. all people should keep it real and focus on the $500 level now.
1428  Economy / Speculation / Re: to buy or not to buy on: April 12, 2016, 07:48:58 PM
Never buy, only earn my friend in my country they say he who buys is a fool but he who inherits is king.

why are buyers fools? it doesn't make sense because most of the people buy bitcoin as an investment hoping they get a decent return. by inherits i assume you are talking about earning it via free methods. of course it is nice to earn some free coins every week or month, but these earnings are nothing more than a nice extra. when you buy, you can get lots of coins at once depending on your fiat balance.
1429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: April 12, 2016, 07:42:16 PM
Actually, if my idle coin have potential to increase the price and more worthy i will keep to sell. But if the idle coin is goes down i will leave them slowly.

You need to have patience mate, just hold it for next couple of months and don't be in hurry to sell it even if the price drops, as if price falls today it will again rise tomorrow.

a few months are nothing when it comes to investments. with stocks, people are holding them in their portfolio for a full year and get very happy when they made a profit of 10% while people here don't even get happy when they make 10% profit in just a few weeks time. there is barely any patience with the current yolo investors. quick profits is all they care about.
1430  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: April 12, 2016, 07:00:03 PM
Its always good to buy as much bitcoin as possible now as we are expecting higher price in future, so its good if we buy more then 1 btc.
But he is talking about to hold that amount for about 1 year or something more, everyone now is going to buy bitcoins as much as they can, but they are wonder that for how much time they should have to hold them.

it depends on what your targets are as investor. my target is to keep holding at least till the price reaches $700 before securing profits. i have enough patience to wait till that time and i know i can keep every satoshi in my offline wallets till it indeed reaches that price level as i have enough patience and dedication.
1431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: April 12, 2016, 06:54:07 PM
I think that people think that Bitcoin is just to much work and do not even bother with using Bitcoin. Or they think that it is not that reliable and that it is not 100% trust worthy. I can understand why people think this.
I often hear the news on television that bitcoin is often used for illegal activities and if you invest in bitcoin possibility of losing very large. even your money could be reduced by more than 30% in one day. I saw it on tv.
probably because it was a lot of people do not trust to the bitcoin

pure negativity. the media is exactly the same as here. when they here cover bitcoin related news, it's always bad. bitcoin is the currency of the deep web and criminals. bitcoin is being used to finance terrorism. bla bla bla. the last 2 years it's only bad news that they release. the media is trying to brainwash people. other than that i really don't know why they do this.
1432  Other / Off-topic / Re: Buying stuff with paypal nowadays on: April 12, 2016, 06:48:55 PM
Sometimes you are just forced to use paypal.
If you cant use btc I would rather use paypal then a debit card directly to a merchant.

if i am forced to pay for certain things only with paypal, then i simply skip that site. i don't have paypal and i will never create another paypal account. so far i have never seen a site that only uses paypal as payment option.
1433  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: April 12, 2016, 06:41:21 PM
Both are profitable and having good promising potential right now. I prefer using and trading Bitcoin nowadays because it's expected that it's price will increase highly soon, but gold is also profitable for the long run

If there is a mass adoption of bitcoin. For now may be fluctuated is a need to increase the adoption of bitcoin let people keep on gaining and losing some coin. What I think in the future bitcoin will have a really stable price

in order to get long term stability you need institutional investors as they bring in millions that they can use to support the price. another important aspect is that the early adopters need to decrease their total amount of coins as they have too much power over the current market price. but i don't see a reason for them to cash out a good chunk of their coins at prices below $1000.
1434  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: April 12, 2016, 06:35:34 PM
It is never safe to invest all your money into 1 thing. You should always diversify your investments.

But bitcoin is safe, safe enought to invest only in it, in history of bitcoin,  there was only few unexpected price falls, and bitcoin is pretty old crypto now, so i think that bitcoin is safest from all cryptos
Bitcoin is safe mate. Many people love to use Bitcoin, and their experience is also that they know that Bitcoin is safe to use.
It depends on how you handle it, you can be scammed but that is your own fault too. Even the online wallets are pretty safe.

its safe now, but you shouldnt ignore past events.

anyone who does, is sort of being ignorant of what can happen at any time with prices that effect buy orders.

what makes it safe right now and what past events are you talking about? bitcoin as network has become stronger as the total hashpower is increasing significantly year on year. beside that there is nothing that makes bitcoin right now safer than previous years. the protocol is as strong as it always was.
1435  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is going up and up on: April 12, 2016, 05:42:55 PM
the price only went up a few bucks which is nothing special. not sure why people get excited over this at all. probably because they are bored.
1436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: April 11, 2016, 10:49:13 AM
i kinda agree with this. if you ask people; what exactly is bitcoin? some of them answer with; i bought it because it will grow in the future and i will make a lot profit. if you ask them the same question again, but then more serious, they will admit that they don't know what it is. there are plenty of easy to understand 'how bitcoin works' and 'what is bitcoin' videos on youtube. just a simple search will be enough to find them.
1437  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: April 11, 2016, 10:40:08 AM
Yes you should... even a few coins..No one knows the future except if this bitcoin is manipulated and controlled by a group or by someone...So better save and wait than being sorry when the price soar..

good advice, but certain people will still do what they think is good in their mind. and that's mostly buying nearly at the highest point of peaks. they wait for the price to go up significantly first before actually buying coins. they see a rising price as sort of confirmation that everything is alright. but they don't realize that by the time they buy their coins, there is barely any upwards movement left. that's why it is better to buy when the price is dumped to the ground.
1438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: April 11, 2016, 10:34:31 AM
I believe that bitcoin has the potential to rise up $700 max this year because of the halving. If the price goes up any higher I'll sell. Because it is not sustainable if the price doubles every halving.

even if the bitcoin price touched $600 I will immediately sell it, because I am sure there will be a big dump, after a lot of people panic buying bitcoin before halving.

securing profits is smart when the price touches $600 this year. i think i will secure some profits too in order to buy back cheaper once the price gets dumped down again. my target for this year is somewhere in the range of $600 to at most $700. you only have to make sure you sell on time because other traders will also try to secure their profits.
1439  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: April 11, 2016, 10:29:03 AM
people mostly spend their bitcoins on digital goods. i think we have to see a wider variety of merchants accepting bitcoin payments. for example when i need to buy a new sofa, or maybe some furniture. would be great to use bitcoin as form of paymenr there.
1440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount to start as a trader? on: April 11, 2016, 10:26:23 AM
The minimum to buy some coins was..0.0001 but i think it is good to start at 0.02 ..i started on that price then 1 month it grows about x20 .then i use to trade more coins.not yet have any withdrawals.

what altcoins did you invest in to get a x20 growth in just a month time? can't see any coin(s) that has been going up that much lately. or maybe you also have gambled some of your money to get that much in only 1 month.
