1381  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you thing about BITCOIN? on: April 19, 2016, 05:43:53 PM
according to my vision, bitcoin will continue to increase but slowly. Why? because we will be close to halving. so people began to prepare to buy before the price increases bitcoin high.

well, smart people have bought their coins when the price was below $300 for a long while. people after that have had enough time to buy their coins well below $400. and the people after that have the chance right now to buy below $450. just make sure you don't wait too long with buying as you will miss another great buying moment then. buy and have patience.
1382  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: April 19, 2016, 05:37:39 PM
My best investment strategy is find a new fresh HYIP then invest on it for short term plan. after that withdrawal all your bitcoin from that HYIP and find a new fresh HYIP again. Repeat.

that's not an investment strategy. it's gambling that you are doing. the only difference with gambling and hyip is that you know that you put money into a scam with hyip's. that's quite sad to be honest.
1383  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC at $435. Is it sustainable? on: April 19, 2016, 05:32:27 PM
Bitcoin has been on the rise, currently at $435. Is this a sustainable number, or is it a momentary spike because of the news?
Comparing the month you posted that in December it is pretty much the same situation now, the price currently is $430, I think that the price will be increased this month probably at $460 (in less than 2 weeks)

it's nice to see that the price remained quite stable during the last months. it's a great thing for people that use bitcoin as store of value. but not so good for people that hope to make some profits while trading.
1384  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2016, 11:03:50 AM
There are a lot of people that is saying that Bitcoin will be bad after the halving be the most people with already Bitcoin are hoping that the value will be huge in the future.
If that will now happen than there will be a lot of people that will get mad and I also think that they will stop using Bitcoin.

the only thing that will really change are the block rewards going down from 25btc to 12.5btc and maybe even the price going higher, and that's it. people shouldn't get mad about anything bitcoin related. these people if they get mad, and maybe will stop using bitcoin, then let them go. these people aren't good for anything. nothing will be lost when these people leave.
1385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Value of Bitcoin at end of 2016, beginning of 2017 ::: Predictions? on: April 18, 2016, 10:37:51 AM
nothing higher than $700 are my thoughts. i am not even sure if we get to reach $600 this year/beginning of next year, even with the block halving heading towards us.
1386  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price is below 400$, What next? on: April 18, 2016, 10:33:54 AM
The price is now finally above $400 so the barrier has been broken. The price is now on its way to $500 its getting there slowly but surely. With this happening people are returning to Bitcoin to see what their next move is going to be.

have you been sleeping a lot lately? the price is above the $400 price level for quite some time now, and it's really struggling to find its way up to $500. it will take at least another month before we have a chance to see the price reach $500 before the block halving.
1387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think we hitting $10,000 this year? on: April 18, 2016, 10:26:31 AM
I think it is too much wishfull thinking.  Maybe near $1000 but not around $10,000.

I saw went up from 14 to more than 200 and it was incredible, later I saw (and be sold again) going to more than 1000, this is bitcoin, anything can happen. This time I'm going to truly believe.

the difference between now and how it was back then is very different and can't be compared to each other as there is much more money involved today. back then you could pump the price x2-×3 with a very low amount. that amount isn't even enough to nowadays pump the price up with 30-40% (depending on the exchange).
1388  Economy / Speculation / Re: 30-day volatility now the LOWEST on record! 60-day is 2nd lowest on record! on: April 18, 2016, 10:23:11 AM
the block halving is coming closer and closer, which means the unusual stability in the price will be over soon. volatility will return and traders will be happy again.
1389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit $3k-$4k by end of 2017 on: April 17, 2016, 03:23:46 PM
still too early to talk bitcoin in 2017 we still have to see what happens after halving. if want to speculate at least the end of 2016 bitcoin is above the 1000 USD. and 2017 is still very difficult to predict.

it's basically pointless to speculate about prices above $1000 at this point. we can't even manage to get the price to reach $500. how do people seriously expect the price to reach $1000 then? let's first focus on reaching $500 and then $600 before dreaming about prices in the range of $1000 and higher.
1390  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: April 17, 2016, 03:19:07 PM
my target was to reach 10 btc in 2015 and i have reached my target at that time, and now my target is to have 20 btc before the end of 2017.

Then what? Sell it all. Do you ever actually use it to buy and sell anything?

i think after reaching 20 btc in my wallet i will go for 25 or 30 bitcoins. increasing the amount of coins that i have is all i care about. and yes, i do spend some coins to buy something, but not a lot since i don't need much. i only buy stuff that i need.

1392  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: April 17, 2016, 11:32:22 AM
Price is really matter. People wasting time only on profitable things, nobody want wasting own time on usless things so here we have an answer.
yeah totally agree with you particularly since most users here are a worker whose goal is profit and the money from the bitcoin.
they go to the bitcoin not because want to collect bitcoin for garnish. they come to make a profit from the high prices.
it is proved

money attracts people. it's that simple. signature campaigns for example, they attract people that have never heard of bitcoin before, but they were simply searching in google for ways to make money. and they end up here on this forum to take part in signature campaigns. it's basically a win win for each side. bitcoin benefits because more people get interested in it, and these new people benefit from it by earning some money.
1393  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin on: April 17, 2016, 11:12:09 AM
Does 'boring' mean it is maturing? Dollars are boring too, and everybody uses dollars.

As a matter of fact i think some company like amazon or google will accept bitcoin
Why do you think that?

some people find bitcoin boring because it doesn't make them a lot profit in a very short time anymore as it used to do in the early years. these people don't have any patience and knowledge about how markets work. if they did, then they would know that each market has different phases from time to time.
1394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit $600 this year or down to $200? on: April 17, 2016, 11:08:09 AM
The chance is higher that it will reach the 600 this year, because I dont think that the value will be going down, it will be only stable or it is rising slowly so that is not that bad.
We must have patience in Bitcoin if you want to make some profit with Bitcoin because it is a currency so it takes time to rise and sometimes it can also fall.

there is a reason behind the stable price and that is the accumulation phase. a lot of big whales are buying bitcoin at this stable price before it is too late and before the price goes up.
there is never too late. You may miss one opportunity, but the next will happen soon. there is no need to chase the price, if you know the direction in which market is going.

exactly! with a market as volatile as bitcoin is, there will always be plenty of more opportunities to enter the market at a good price. you only need to have patience and wait for the next chance. if you missed a good buying opportunity, then just wait instead of still buying because you're irritated because you missed a great buying opportunity.
1395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stable Bitcoin Price on: April 17, 2016, 11:04:15 AM
I think there is no stable bitcoin price because bitcoin is so volatile and traders are want a bitcoin to be volatile so that they woould seize the opportunity to profit.

your point is true no way btc will become so stable he change every it can
but would be nice to see him really stable

the problem is that people will never be happy with whatever phase the market is in. when the price is stable, people complain about the price being boring. when the price is volatile, people complain about the price moving too much. i really don't know what people here want anymore. they will never get satisfied.
1396  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be Bitcoin Price After 3 months? on: April 17, 2016, 10:40:48 AM
So nobody was right answering the OP question...   Grin

I think the price by the end of April will be around $460+-20. The price is not so much different from today's price.

Todays price is now at 430 maybe at the end of this month it can only reach the price of 440-450 nothing more than that.

i have the same feeling. what i also can see happen is that the price falls back to sub $420 prices next week as there is no support at current price levels.
1397  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k???? on: April 16, 2016, 10:22:45 AM
The bitcoin is gonna go to a high amount soon or later but 10k in dollars is just so unrealistic the price is now very low and it would take a lot of years to do this, I think the bitcoin cannot achieve this because its just too much for it, 5k is the max.
5k could be the checkpoint of 10.000 u know, unless demand is exceed, bitcoin can go up to a price that you won't ever believe.

If the demand is higher and people can use it in many places, the price could go to $5000 easily.

in order to reach prices of around $5000 and higher, we must see institutional investors enter the bitcoin market. with their fresh millions the market will get a huge boost. without these wealthy investors bringing in new money, it will be a very difficult job to get the price even to touch $2000 within a few years.
1398  Economy / Speculation / Re: If we hold 300... on: April 16, 2016, 10:18:50 AM
prices will continue rising. and now the price has already approached 450 USD. If you buy at the price of 300USD then iru is a very lucky thing. big profits will be obtained.

it has nothing to do with luck. do you remember back in 2015 that the price was stuck below the $300 price level for such a long time? people had enough chances and time to buy themselves enough coins at these levels. but instead of buying, they were waiting for the price to go even lower. and now you see that it does pay off when you use your trading experience. people that bought below $300 and kept holding are now having a big smile.
1399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you waiting for Halving??? on: April 16, 2016, 10:14:40 AM
Anyone know about Halving, in this year Halving will grow up??

Of course that i wait for halving and i think that lots of people waits, because they buy more and more bitcoins now, so price rises even more

And i wait for halving for a huge price rise, some people think that price will rise to 1000$ ir more but i think it will rise up to 700$ and not more so that's why i wait for it

I also wait for the halving just like you so that i can have some profit when i sell my bitcoins if the price git 700-800 i will sell my bitcoin.

and what will you do if for example the price doesn't go above $500 this year? will you ten keep holding your coins for a much longer time, or will you sell because you got disappointed by the price not going up as much as you were hoping for?
1400  Economy / Speculation / Re: to buy or not to buy on: April 16, 2016, 10:12:29 AM
at the start of the month, with all the bullish news, I was looking at my coinbase account and it's option to fund with credit card....hmmm, I thought, I have this new credit card with no interest for 2 months...hmmm...will I buy 2 more bitcoins? I should, I thought. I could cash out in a few weeks and maybe make an easy hundred euros or two.

I did not. Goddamnit. Could have made an easy 30% gain off of credit.

and now I wonder, is it worth doing that today? any thoughts?

I think that it is good time to buy right now, price is not very large at this moment so if you will buy now, you will get lots of profit later for sure, you just have to sell them at right time, when price will rise to sky for example, but anyway it is always good time to buy bitcoins

No matter what price we are in right now its still a good buy because in the halving we will see that the price will rise and no one will be selling their bitcoin by then.

from the current price level i expect the price to have a maximum upwards potential of 40% till the block halving as i don't think the price will go over $600 by that time. if you look at it from that point, then there is still some good money to be made.
