2321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin Futures Contract? on: November 03, 2017, 05:32:39 AM
Hey, someone know what is Bitcoin Futures Contract? and what will be the advantages of buying it?

Thanks!

I hope this will help you a lot.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/bitcoins-future-heres-what-you-should-know-1509475884
The futures contract mean if you are betting on the price of the bitcoin will reach based on your prediction. That means if the price of the bitcoin will be more than your predictiona dan let say if you are predicting about the bitcoin will reach $8000 and if the price of the bitcoin will be more than $8000 let say about $8010 and you will get $10 based on the gap between your prediction and the price of the biitcoin.
2322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins that have an actual use? on: November 03, 2017, 01:52:51 AM
How many coins are there that have an actual use.

For example playkey will have one . Factom or Stratis do...I think they probably more clients though.

Ether does (within the Etherreum ecosystem)

What are some of the better ones?

What do you mean about the actual use? To determine those coins which already had the actual use will a bit difficult. I'm not sure about the playkey project but i just believe about the spectre.
You can try to see about the santiment and various platform which already had actually used. Eidoo should be another choice.
2323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: anyone invested in cartaxi ICO? on: November 03, 2017, 01:46:08 AM
What problem are they trying to solve?
Not sure there is a problem need to solve but the cartaxi was aiming to be the competitor of the uber or its based on the navigation for the real usage to find the taxi service. I meant about the cartaxi service will be similar just like uber, but it doesn't make sense to claimed about the cartaxi to be the decentralized at the same time and where is the implementetion of the its decentralized?
Pretty odd.
2324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie needs clue: Speculate to HODL BTC or buying cheap altcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 07:08:31 AM
I got some Bitcoon Gold,
It is a sort of present for newbie

I also got another present,
BTC is ATH.

Is it a good idea to start to buy Altcoins?
Do I have to wait for correction and jump to buy Altcoins?
You can try to diverse some of your portfolios with altcoin, This seems to be a good time to buy altcoin because the price fo bitcoin always increase any time. As you can see a lot of the altcoin gets rekt due to a lot of demand are going to the bitcoin, but remember to put some of your amount in the bitcoin to give you the more guarantee about your portfolio.
You can try this in your portfolio.
2325  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: November 02, 2017, 04:58:51 AM
Future of Bitcoin Economics depends on mass adoption of Bitcoin. No body can predict accurately the true future of Bitcoin.
Still much more predictable than the future of fiat currency, which doesn't look good, BTW.

At least with Bitcoin you know how many coins will ever exist, whereas in the case of fiat, governments can print money at any time.
Fiat currecy just a tool by the goverment to control the financial and economic sector. About the future of the fiat that can't be determined caused by the fiat depends on the goverment itself.
The government has used the polics issue to manipulation the fiat money, the government can print it anytime.
Bitcoin was very different with the fiat money.
2326  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: November 02, 2017, 04:52:55 AM
there are some countries that are not in line with bitcoin. maybe his government always see bitcoin from the negative side. In addition, bitcoin may also affect the business they run, so bitcoin and government are sometimes contradictory. but, there are some countries that are in line with bitcoin.
The goverment was building the centralized thing that gives the goverment ability to control it. the bitcoin based on the decentralized system which means the bitcoin will be so difficult to be controlled by the goverment. The fact that the government must try to change its mind set about the centralized and try to understand about the decentralized thing.
That's why the goverment against the bitcoin.
2327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is universa legit? on: November 02, 2017, 12:46:55 AM
Out of many ICOs ongoing, Universa is the only project targeting the smart contract platform (competing with ETH, NEO, etc). The question is: is it legit?
About claimed to be the fastest platform and it was not actually true, while you are seeing about other platform just like bitshares and the developer of its platform claimed has less than 2 second. and that will be more faster rather than the universa. But i can't say every ico that claimed to be the future of the smartcontract will always be succeesful.
Neo was offering the new thing about the pos system. But universa seems legit
2328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wil happen to Bitcoin if we acquire the 21M BTC? on: November 02, 2017, 12:44:25 AM
I have read that 21M BTC was originally created, and we currently acquired 16.6M BTC. What will happen to the value of bitcoin as we approach the 21M BTC? and what will happen if we reach 21M BTC?
That depends on the demand and usage of bitcoins. If bitcoin has reached the 21M product limit and only 1/4 of the world has bitcoins, and the demand and usage of bitcoin is damn high, then we can sell our bitcoins for a higher price. Just imagine the 3/4 of the population struggling to get a part of the 21M supply...
And every satoshi will worth a lot in the future, if the more unfamiliar people will try to join in the crypto and try to adopt the bitcoin and the bitcoin will have divided into a little part. and so you can see the price will worth a lot in the future.
This time adoption already come to the bitcoin and just waiting for the result about that.
2329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 02, 2017, 12:41:20 AM
1 If the bitcoin becomes a bubble and burst. This will be linked to the flash crash but this time that looks impossible.
2 If the exchange site will be banned in the various country because of the exchange site as a centra key in the bitcoin or crypto.
3 Too many hackers, scammers in the crypto.

A lot of the things that makes me fear about the bitcoin itself. But the politic and regulatory seems to be a serious thing rather than other.
2330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Market Dominance going back up to 80%? Alts current Status? on: November 01, 2017, 06:48:42 AM
see. alts have been been stable for few months now (after bitcoin cash fork). They should rise after november fork, that's my hope. Someone mentioned that there is another fork for bitcoin after november, if that's true we might have to wait longer. I would be happy if they continue to stay stable instead of dropping in value.
After the bitcoin cash hardfork the altcoin was really stable, as you can see about the fork becomes a trend in this time rather than altcoin. because if you are holding the more bitcoin and you will receive free cash and can you tell me about someone didn't feel happy or interested to get the more free cash from the bitcoin itself? And that's free, you just never do anything.
2331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum price surge to devcon3? on: November 01, 2017, 06:42:47 AM
https://ethereumfoundation.org/devcon3/

What do you guys think about the price of ethereum in general, and do you think the price will increase due to the conference tomorrow?

I have been holding ETH long term, so this wont be a buy for me since I am holding already. I do plan on watching the live stream, or recording it some how to watch later. This is going to be extremely interesting and I can not wait to see what is in store for ethereum.
I don't think se, because the fact that the ethereum price gets decrease a little bit due to the bullish trend of the bitcoin, I just think about the more people are focussing into the bitcoin rather than ethereum itself. This time the ethereum trends lost to the bitcoin hardfork trend which generated the more coin everytime from bitcoin hardfork.
You can watch the discussion.
2332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Related Jobs International Employment... on: November 01, 2017, 04:02:14 AM
Riding a wave of record prices, and the growth in businesses created to service the cryptocurrency ecosystem, Bitcoin as a network and bitcoin as a currency are quickly becoming international job creators. According to popular employment-finding websites, last quarter alone saw a jump in related work offers.

I was waiting for this report as we talked about this last week.....
You may wrong about that, in my opinion about the main factor to creates a lot of the new international job it was the blockchain, The blockchain can be considered to change the financial structure to minimize the cost and the important thing about a lot of the big company are looking for the blockchain expertise. Bitcoin as the currency gives a little impact into it.
2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrop on: November 01, 2017, 04:00:00 AM
how long does airdrop token will get into the wallet?
That depends on the developer's decision about when to distribute the airdrop into the participate, as you can see about the airdrop already scheduled. And i think that you must try to read the more information regarding what the airdrop that you already signed in. And so you can try to see the exact date of the airdrop distribution.
2334  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin actually just a Investment coin? on: November 01, 2017, 01:35:21 AM
Just a clarification - buying Bitcoin to wait for the an increase just to sell it for profit is more trading than investing. Investing in bitcoin would be holding over the long term.

It's true now that many people use bitcoin as a long term investment. Although there are still people who like the way in trading bitcoin, but it depends on ourselves.
You want to choice first or second.  Wink

That means the definition of the bitcoin that has created by satoshi nakamoto already changed for some people's mind, Bitcoin mainly considered as the investment rather than future mainstream payment.
The fact that the bitcoin can't compete with the visa scalable.
The more people are knowing the bitcoin as valuable investment because the supply was limited.
2335  Economy / Economics / Re: Is time too late on: November 01, 2017, 01:31:43 AM
As long as the OP is still beliving about the future of the bitcoin and we will never think about too late to buy the bitcoin, The sky is limit and bitcoin was different with another currency that pegged on the stable value by the regulators.
bitcoin goes with its environtment and never try to pegged with anything especially to the regulators itself, What will be happening if the bitcoin wroth over $10k and this is not too late to buy bitcoin as much as you can.
2336  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining in 2017? on: October 31, 2017, 08:19:27 AM
mining is not so profibale(btc mining) if you consider the cost of getting the equipments. except u r considering mining a viable altcoin.
Where are you getting that statement? Have you done a research about that? Have tried to do a mining calculator and then try to calculate with the electricity cost in your country? it seems still profitable this time. Mining bitcoin will give you a better ROI than mining altcoin use your GPU rigs. You can try to do a comparison through the mining calculator.
2337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if all 21 Million BTC are mined? on: October 31, 2017, 08:16:58 AM
What will happen if all 21 Million BTC are mined? Or 20.999.999....

Who confirms transactions then?
How high will be fees?
Where they put the transactions? They have to find a new block for this as far as I know.

Would be nice if someone could explain this.
Bitcoin already lost some hundreds thousands in this time if we are calkculating all of the bitcoin that lost due to the various reasons. The miner still run the nodes but they will not receive the more bitcoin reward from the block again. They will depend on the transaction fees to keep their nodes still run to secure the network of the bitcoin itself.
No reward in every block, that means the bitcoin arleady reached the total supply.
2338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DogeCoin even worth buying? on: October 31, 2017, 05:26:10 AM
I think DogeCoin is a very stable coin. The value of this coin don't change a lot when Bitcoin rise or fall. It may sometimes rise when Bitcoin rise.

It has been on a steady decline since June. The coin will be out of the top 100 in four months.
Because the more supply will come to the market and just dump it to run away with money from the market, Doge will turn into another zombie or even die token in the future.
As you can see the inflation doesn't get control by any party and the developers already gone.
There is no hope to the dogecoin to get the bright future.
There is a lot of better coin rather than doge.
2339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy vs Decentralization vs Scaling on: October 31, 2017, 05:20:43 AM
It seems like the three main developments happening in currencies involve privacy, decentralization, or scaling.

Which of these developments are going to see the greatest growth in the next upcoming months?
But i will not choose once from your list, As you can see a lot of platform are in competition to develop eht future platform that gives you true decentralization, high privacy and anyone will not able to trace your transaction. And the last will be scaling solution, that means if the network will not so easy to be bloated caused by a lot of the trasaction already made by thousand or million users.
2340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happened for altcoins ?we are still lost more money on: October 31, 2017, 04:55:12 AM
by my calculations for the next 120days or so altcoins will be losing value against Bitcoin, so just hold tight.

It caused by the next fork of the bitcoin, i remember about in the next month the bitcoin will issue the new cryptocoin to be the next fork just like bitcoin gold. B2x coin will make a lot of altcoin holders are scary.
The more people will try to buy bitcoin, i believe in the next week we will see another hype just like what already happened with bitcoin gold hype.
$7k becomes real.
