2321  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorism in Africa on: August 06, 2023, 08:54:57 PM

What typically occurs is that the opposition, rather than cooperating with the winning party to advance the interests of the nation after the politicians who employed the thugs win their elections and likely desert them, will be using those thugs to attack that administration through acts of terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping, which is wrong.

If we are expecting opposition political party to support the party who was able to rig themselves into government is going to be a waste of time. As far as politics is concern, election is win and win all. I don't think collaboration government work or coalition, it doesn't really work in governance because the other party has a different idea or idealogy they were coming with and so such fusion may further take the country back. Political party by primary understanding is formed to win election and form a government and that happens at agreed duration of tenure.
2322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: August 06, 2023, 08:10:17 PM

What I want to say is that greed can sometimes be your friend because having greed is somewhat the same as having a gut but again, don't let it drive you as that will really put you in a situation that you never wanted. No need to eliminate it as greed is just like luck, you never know when will it hit you.

I accept that, greed can turn into a blessing. Sometimes we are persistent with what we believe in like if you try and keep trying because you see that light is at the end and at the end it may turn into good. Sometimes some gamblers are persistent in coming back to try after losing. I have witnessed much of this when a gambler losses in visual game and after losing much they still try the last game which turned out to be the remedy that brought them back to regain all the money lost earlier.

2324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 06, 2023, 04:41:46 PM
I'm also agreeing with the op that gambling has helped and still helping the youths in the society. In my locality gambling has reduced crimes very well. Because government can provide jobs for the youth to engaged themselves in offices and other governmental works so those who can play bet use the opportunity to busy themselves in the casino halls and forget crime in the process and there sometimes they win and loss and argue among themselves in all days. If there is no gambling in the society, crime would have been legalized in the society by those guys Grin just because of the way crime would have been that is why I am saying this. As it is said, both the government and the youths are benefiting from gambling.

Opportunity to gamble will not be seen as the reason that crime will reduce. Employment is what I know that is advocated to push down the rate of crime and not gambling. In fact most times gambling environment is where bad boys meet to plan next move. Crime rate is increasing generally because government has not provided enabling environment for self employment and employment opportunities. Those who gamble may not gamble if they had alternative.
Gambling will not reduce even though there is employment for the youth, it might even increase the amount to stake but crime itself will slidely reduce. Government is the cause of crime and government loves crime. Why government is the cause of crime? Those who went to school and thinking that after schooling they secure good jobs to start life just like their white counterparts but irony slapped them in their thoughts on their faces they became street boys and girls struggling to survive. Enter places that ordinarily they would not enter, gambling to survive. And why government love crime? Government picks bad boys to become bodyguards from gambling places and sometimes use them in election dumped them after the election. And they would go back again so crime becomes a perpetual problem in the society. Government is not ready to eliminate crime in the society because they part of the crimes.

I agree that government created crime for the reason of not providing enabling environment for job creation  I also agree to your point that government love crime and they will not take it out. The point therefore is whether jobs are created or not, gamblers will still be there, gambling places is mostly hideout for gamblers and government will always look for the bad boys for their nefarious activities. That buttress my earlier point that availability of jobs is not the solution to crime rate. There are guns everywhere, social ills and illegality is on the increase.
2325  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: August 06, 2023, 03:40:04 PM

If you buy an existing business that's great too. Suppose you see other people's businesses going flat while you have a creative idea that you think will add potential for increased sales.

To buy over someone's falling business requires two things. One of it is that you need capital to refurbish the business because most likely it is lacking in management which is the reason for the sale. So you have to be ready to pump in money in a business that is failing if you are buying it. For example take twitter, to the best of my knowledge was not failing but Elon musk bought it, he turned it to his taste, employed new hands and all that requires money.

Another point is you need to be experienced in it or your money will help you employ the best heads who are experienced to rejuvenate the business back to the public. So if one does not have those two criteria, they may not be able to buy over failing business.
2326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: August 06, 2023, 01:22:23 PM

You don't have to play carefully, just enjoy the game without expecting to win and hope to beat the casino, because basically the casino or the dealer will always win and you can't just win the game at their casino, that's why you really have to enjoy playing the game. and just think of winning as a bonus, while losing, let's just say paying for a game that has been enjoyed. that's how to gamble with a healthy mindset

This is suppose to be the best way to gamble but unfortunately it doesn't happen that way because of the factor of money involved in it which touches down to our emotion. If the games are not involved with money which makes it a bet then the atmosphere will be different from what it is called. The fun aspect of gambling is difficult to achieve when you are betting on something .

2328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: August 05, 2023, 09:21:42 PM
well for me? i use prediction as one tools for my decisioning but that doesnt mean that everything in predicting will be on because there are also coming from my own research and sighting each projet.
though in bitcoin? yeah I completely trust and i need nothing to explore more.

We still have to protect ourselves from over risking our investment in bitcoin. There are people who borrow money to invest in bitcoin but within the time to repay the loan, bitcoin is yet to bull and that will put them under severe pressure. As  much we want to take risk of investment, we also need to take caution not to invest all we have and won't be able to take care of other needs. We need to balance out investment so that other aspect of our lives won't lack or become deficient.
2329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 05, 2023, 07:44:32 PM

Even if gambling commonly view as negative by commoner. Many didn't notice how big is the contribution of gambling to the society.

What is the benefits of gambling to your society?

Despite the negative aspect that contributions have been on gambling addiction, I see it as guide or suggestions to help each other on the forum regards to people over budgeting on it and having irresponsible ways of going on it. Most contributions have been on gambling responsibly.

However, I can't say vividly what the government where I domicile do with gambling proceed or tax collected but I know few people that have benefited alot from gambling. Apart from big wins like $15,000 from someone who used part of it to buy land, car, other youths do benefit from time to time even though part of the money is used to gamble when they don't manage it well.
2330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Of Think My Predictions On This Multi Bet Ticket ? on: August 05, 2023, 04:28:20 PM
Well going by your curiosity to exit or to stay on the game based on the cash out stake is offering to you that you said is slightly above your staking value, you need to know stake is not gifting you the money right.... That is the value of the 5 games correctly predicted for now from the 20 games, meaning the cash out can disappear if your next ongoing game is not turning right. So for me, you have to make the choice of staying or continuing, 15 more games is too much to put my fingers on to predict and if I knew the result myself, I would have taken the shot directly  Grin

To conclude my submission since you played to increase your bankroll and the cash out is still within your staking value, I could still take the risk to allow if some games will turn out good to increase the cash out. This is not a professional advise anyway   Grin
2331  Economy / Economics / Re: Im owner of wealth club and here is my forecast about global economy on: August 05, 2023, 02:36:38 PM

Get ready for weaker euro off course it has quite good economic stimulus factor we can can expecting boom and bullish european construction and real estate markets.
Once again europe Will be good vacation destination becouse of weaker euro specially by usa and british tourists.

Thanks and enjoy the Reading Smiley

Your assumptions may not sound right. First, what is your argument to say euro will depreciate or is deprecating? You can not make a statement of a weaker currency without measuring it with either dollar, pounds or any other currency. Like last year, you could say euro exchanged weaker against dollar so which currency is it weaker on? And moreover, you thinking of vacation not because of the speculation of a weaker euro but for the need not advantage.

2332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 05, 2023, 02:14:36 PM

Gambling is taboo and some company usually not want to accept an employer which is also a gambler due to many bad news around.

Gambling is not a taboo for everyone. Those who hold tight to religion are those who don't want to associate with it or anyone who is gambling and they equally train their children in such religious way like they saw it in the bible. If such people open a company they may not like to recruit those who gamble or smoke just in obedience with the religious way of life but for those that don't follow religious doctrine, it is not a taboo for them.
2333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 05, 2023, 12:41:15 PM

Gamblers who gamble often can have good numbers of hit than gamblers that gamble every time. Many gamblers don't know this but I have experimented myself that's how I know all this, always have in mind that gambling is a game of luck, gambling irresponsibly starts when you think otherwise.

There is possiblity for this but having such mindset could make a bettor to chase back his losses because if he plays many times and didn't win then a dude who plays just few times maybe two or three times happen to win, it looks like he is not favoured and he starts to wager more in chasing for his own win. I think the right mindset is that if it is not working for you then wait for the next time. A luck base game doesn't really require how many times you wager .
2334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 05, 2023, 11:33:19 AM

But if you gamble in offline casino, you need to reveal your identity, other gamblers will know your face, they will pay attention with your car, how much you bet, your friend, your body etc. Which make many people aren't comfortable.

Of line betting and online are not the same thing. Of line betting is usually with fiat which already has no secret involve in it especially when you are betting very small amount. People who bet huge with fiat do that in secret either they are betting only in the presence of the manager in his office which can be allowed or they bet from their phone online with fiat but there is something with cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. People don't like to expose themselves on how rich they are in bitcoin or crypto. You can't compare the value of cryptocurrency to fiat and exposing yourself to how much you have in bitcoin is risky
2335  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The fate of Democracy in West Africa shakes on: August 05, 2023, 09:53:48 AM

Centuries of failed and corrupt government. And as of late, foreign involvement in military coups.

It is not surprising to me about the spate of military coup in the West African sub region of Africa because there is high level of infiltration of arms and ammunition across the region and those democrative government couldn't check them. Arms are everywhere in the region and of course they come in from outside Africa and whoever the pay masters are is left for 55 member countries of Africa Union to unravel and the purpose known. Corruption allegations levelled against those oasted democratic government should not be issue because the military is not free from corruption themselves.
2336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: August 05, 2023, 08:50:30 AM

It's actually pretty stupid how someone would feel that some group out there in the internet will actually provide an 100 %  sure odds tag to deliver them victory because I for one certainly know that they is no such channel and the crazy part is that you actually gat to pay for such service. I was personal invited to one of these groups and I instantly blocked it because I am very certain that all these groups operate same way we do because no one actually habor any hidden secrets to a match before it's kicks off.

To predict exactly what will happen in the future and time for it to happen has been a difficult thing for humanity so that is the aspect that bettors need to understand it is not easy to know what will happen in the future and every minute is important. Football game happens at least 90 minutes into our future and to deduce it to appear the way it would in the future is not overtly easy. I could only get there free version and compare with others plus personal analysis but to pay for a group for signal is not what I do because it is of no guarantee.
2337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 04, 2023, 08:02:25 PM

Am i wrong to think that this information on the internet needs to be updated.

You are correct in your assumptions before, we only need a bitcoin address to withdraw our funds and gambling platform doesn't know us because there are no KYC or any other information that mandated from us.

In the first place, are crypto gambling casinos suppose to be licensed? I don't think they should. Licencing means that it is regulated and monitored so requirements have to be set to meet up to the rules and such requirement is request for customer's identify. Unfortunately, gamblers are providing those information and more cex casinos are joining the business. The whole story is that government is putting an eyes on the unmasking of those playing in casinos.
2338  Economy / Economics / Re: Are short-term rentals to blame for the lack of housing? on: August 04, 2023, 07:40:06 PM

This is why government should always make some houses and rent them for near free levels as well, I know some will yell out socialism because of it, but if half of the world runs in a nation where hospitals, schools, firefighters, police, military and many other things are paid by the people with their taxes, why not have a single government construction company that builds cheap houses in some distant place for everyone to live if they do not have a home.

Government may not build houses for near free but in a subsize level that the rent will gradually be deducted from the monthly payment of workers until the rentage is fully completed and paid for then the house becomes the property of the worker. With such practice, the worker is free from housing problem even at retirement but this practice is fast disappearing because government is failing in her responsibility. Usually the shelters of  those agency of government or parastatals you mentioned were suppose to be under the government but for now most of them take care of their shelters, especially in the capitalist economy.
2339  Economy / Economics / Re: Are short-term rentals to blame for the lack of housing? on: August 04, 2023, 04:30:50 PM
To be honest, I would like to invest in these kind of housing where I could use them as rental to have passive income. Of course I would put some money where I risk it all because what if there's no people would rent it right?

Housing and estate business is not a passive income generating business. It is a huge business that is also cash intensive. It is the business that you may not encounter loss if you go further to insure it.

I think here in the PH, there's a lot of newly subdivision that are open for everyone to buy. It might not be applicable for some countries

Buy a home today if you can afford it. The value of houses always appreciate.

but I think the main reason for lack of housing is people would buy some commercial space just for short income.

Houses could be in shortage because the government is not doing enough to support.

Because here I have seen a lot of houses have been demolished and rebuild into some newly mall of course in the mean time as commercial space adapt more then there would be no space fo housing.

This is possible because if you build homes to live in business areas then people won't like to rent them. Houses that can be on short rent could in business areas or commercial areas.
2340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: August 04, 2023, 04:02:06 PM

Even if a few of their signals turn out to be right, it doesn't mean that they are the ultimate experts in the sports betting industry. The research and analysis that they maybe do, can be done by an individual as well if they have an interest in a specific sport that they are willing to bet on.

The difference between paid groups and those patronizing them is that research and analysis which they have devoted their time on to do because they want to sell it out. It is laziness on the part of most bettors that make to to use such means otherwise if they put in time for more research analysis, it is the same result they will get and that is the result of winning some and losing some. No betting apps or telegram betting group gives an accurate result of 100% back to back, because it is not possible.

yes and no, the groups that require you to pay may have done research or may not have done anything at all, and the second one is more likely than the first. If their research is so good and they can systematically beat the system, my first question is why would they share the method with other people? See, it is the old promise of a beggar selling you a method to "be rich".

Alright ... We are saying the same thing friend and like they say, there is no free meal in freetown. Those call groups may be those who have fallen off from gambling and design such for business where they are calling out gullible minds to patronize them. Like you said
