I agree on that, Ronaldo's chances of returning to Serie A are very small. I think Ronaldo will stay at Manchester United, he could complain but in the end maybe he has to honor his contract.
However I don't think Ronaldo will force Manchester United to sell him this season to another team because basically Manchester United's performance under Ten Hag has improved. It's great to expect him to stay this season because the Premier League and Europa League aren't too bad to win either.

There are some rumours relating Memphis Depay to Newcastle in the recent times. However he is about to turn down an offer from them now. Because Depay's wish is to play for a strong team if he leaves his team now. Newcastle haven't proven their strength yet and they need time for that. As a result Depay isn't going there. Tottenham have had some interest as well but I don't know how much serious they are. If they make an offer I assume Depay would evaluate it seriously.

Although I’m no super fan of Ronaldo, one can’t deny a fact that he’s a really good player and it’s assured that he can be counted on to deliver on the tasks set by the coach.
