2341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for partners, creative writers, members who know a lot about Ethereum. on: June 04, 2020, 11:45:07 PM
The project is a specific technology discussion board but I plan on doing a few things different, Ethereum has a native cryptocurrency called Ether (ETH). ETH is digital money. If you’ve heard of Bitcoin, ETH has many of the same features. It is purely digital, and can be sent to anyone anywhere in the world instantly! But you all ready knew that (just saying for the people who don't know) But unlike any other blockchains, Ethereum can do much more. Ethereum is programmable, which means that developers can use it to build new kinds of applications. (and i'm thinking with the right people on board, and over time I can attract a few MyBB plugin developers to develop something creative the team of EthereumTalk can discuss together).

So your target audience is people new to the crypto world?
2342  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Mellow ads accept advertisements from Bitcoin doubler websites on: June 04, 2020, 09:52:57 PM
600% profit in just one minute, with a $100,000 limit?

I guess the issue of financing a project to Mars is solved.   Give me a half hour guys...

2343  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I HAVE JUST BEEN SCAMMED USING BITCOIN LAUNDRY MIXER on: June 04, 2020, 09:50:24 PM
The best thing is whether at all the domain registerer or hosting are willing to take this websites down once they're proven scam, to prevent other people from falling victim.

That would
1) increase prices as this requires staff
2) widen the attack surface for an enemy
3) lead to censorship, bias, etc.

Once an AI can detect a scam with 100% certainty and 0% bias, then I would support your suggestion.
2344  Economy / Reputation / Re: JollyGood is reporting bounty hunters on: June 04, 2020, 09:32:00 PM
It is about repulia project that is still active
Okay look I removed the negative trust if you think I am a hypocrite ..... I hope he will do the same

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4841968.0

The thread is full of inactive and banned profiles.  :/   OP has not logged on in 200 days.  I'm not going to look into it, as I'm sure others have.

Removing your negative trust about negative trust is a good step.   If Jolly ever does wrong, you can mark him - but you shouldn't leave red for trust disputes - that is what the DT network is for.

Edit:  last posts on that thread seem to indicate it was a pump and dump...
2345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for partners, creative writers, members who know a lot about Ethereum. on: June 04, 2020, 09:25:35 PM
Can you tell us what the project is, or even the domain name?

If you're just planning on launching a very specific technology discussion board, you have a long battle ahead from many established communities.
2346  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SELLING ADSENSE ACCOUNT on: June 04, 2020, 09:22:42 PM
This is against terms.   It could also been a hacked/stolen account, since the OP is basically giving money away.  If you buy it, make sure Google cannot detect your other accounts.

"Though our Terms and Conditions don't permit transfers of account ownership, we do allow you to update your payee name to fix misspellings, or to make adjustments for changes such as marriage, death, or company mergers."
2347  Economy / Reputation / Re: JollyGood is reporting bounty hunters on: June 04, 2020, 09:13:40 PM
The reference link just goes to your profile.   What scam did JollyGood report you on that is still running?

Also, you left him negative trust as well.   Complaining about it kind of makes you a hypocrite.  :/

Surely I will remove my report if he could answer to me

Wrong attitude.  Remove the feedback, or stop complaining about feedback.  Don't be an extortionist.
2348  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should true christains own lethal weapons? on: June 04, 2020, 06:37:38 PM
Physical weapons are basically for those weak in faith and they are way less powerful than the spiritual ones which is freely given to us by the ALMIGHTY.

I don't remember any war in history where the side that had no weapons won.

The almighty seems to sleep a lot.

2349  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need help and guidance starting a crypto escrow platform on: June 04, 2020, 03:50:50 PM
Much appreciated for the advice!

Minerjones is the best choice for escrow.  If you search on the other name, you'll find a history of coins going missing.  :/
2350  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: June 04, 2020, 03:49:47 PM
You're just as likely of getting scammed if you use certain escrows.  Research the escrow names by googling them with site:bitcointalk.org in the searchterm.

Minerjones is your best bet. I'm working with MJ to build an automated escrow system so current escrows can't decide to keep the funds if something odd happens.

edit:  spelling
2351  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would people go ahead to behave badly after being warned of the consequences on: June 03, 2020, 01:08:56 AM
Just talk about the realistic things, God is not going to save us from anything so we just have to save us from everything. And its impossible to say what is going to happen tomorrow so don;t expect other to see this as warning.

Why is god creating all these things he won't save us from?   Huh

^^ For the first time in a few months, DT is officially not broken.   Grin
2353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I created a Trading bot and it's doing 8% a month on: June 02, 2020, 11:42:39 PM
Everyone should review this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5252862.0

The OP has seen it but did not answer.  Something is not right with this - use escrow.
2354  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: June 02, 2020, 10:00:31 PM
but established couples already living together (more likely already have a kid) are more likely to get bored at night as the only thing on TV is the news so they will find other ways to entertain each other

History has proved you wrong.  Tongue

And parents of teenage girls rejoice!
2355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Seeking investors to grow an eSports betting business - esportbets.io on: June 02, 2020, 08:01:54 PM
...
51% of equity?   Why such an odd number?...

The 1% makes a big difference legally. The partner becomes the majority owner and manager of the company with all the responsibilities that come with it.

I understand the 51% ownership part - I'm curious why the OP didn't use the correct term.  An equity share is not the same as an ownership share.

Every corporation I've ever bought into has a different share class for investors and owners.  I guess it could be different where he/she comes from.   I take back that question, but still ask the OP to prove claims he has made.

2356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Seeking investors to grow an eSports betting business - esportbets.io on: June 02, 2020, 06:59:52 PM
We were thinking about 15 Ethereum for 5% of the equity but we are open to negotiations. 25% of the equity is open.

You should start by proving things you've claimed.  Your traffic stats do not support having 5,000 users.  :/

There is a possibility that we can offer 51% of the equity to a partner that shows real interest and we can keep the development and idea moving forward with him in control, but that's just a maybe.

51% of equity?   Why such an odd number?
2357  Other / Off-topic / Re: Church is not really a physical building on: June 02, 2020, 06:31:14 PM
You don't call physical building the body of CHRIST, do you?

Of course not - that would be stupid!

We call a piece of bread the body of CHRIST, as it should be.
2358  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: allow on-forum altcoin giveaways for established altcoins on: June 02, 2020, 06:24:58 PM
I think a good way to solve this issue with maximal positive effect is to either establish some kind of protocol that must be followed, or perhaps some kind of script to automate things. This would enable giveaways while also keeping it from shitting up the forum with useless posts.

That's exactly what I'm doing!  Club members can receive a monthly giveaway of promising alt coins.  Smiley

Not that the forum really cares about scams... but best watch out if you post twice in a row!

 Undecided
2359  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: June 02, 2020, 12:54:48 AM
Italian scientists are now claiming the virus has mutated into a less harmful strain.

One thing this virus has done is expedite the move to remote learning/working, etc.  I wonder if the birth rate will decline in the next few years.
2360  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Trump Designates Antifa "A Terrorist Organization"' on: June 02, 2020, 12:13:56 AM
I don't consider you to be a peaceful protester after you begin violating the law and stay past curfew.

Why not?  If I break curfew and burn buildings, I am a violent protester.

If I break curfew and do nothing else, I am a peaceful protester.
