1341  Other / Off-topic / Re: To the guy who said he bought his first bitcoin the other day on: December 27, 2020, 03:46:43 AM
Yeah awesome move. We should all congratulate him.

lol why?   Unless he sells, he has lost $19k so far.   The entire culture tells him to "HODL" so until he tells us to fuck off and sells, he has lost a lot of FIAT.

The big question:  When will you sell?  Pay debts?  Buy luxury items?  Buy long term assets?  <<-- every one of those has won over a person who never sells.

1342  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust Violation Apology on: December 26, 2020, 09:19:19 PM
I read this as the feud being active throughout 2021.  Is that what you meant?  The rest of your post was quite cryptic to me as well, but perhaps I'm just ignorant of some things which probably involve OgNasty.  Cryptography is nice, especially on this forum, but people don't seem to be saying what they mean in plain language in this thread.  Too much spiked egg nog?

How much is too much spiked egg nog?   Tongue  If I take Lactaid I can handle one, but I have the tolerance for alcohol of a 12 year old.

I always try to type exactly what I mean, unless I am parotting some idiot to show them how they have twisted words.

Early in the new year I should finish my blockchain worm, and provide the proof anyone needs to solve frauds on the blockchain.  (It depends on LoyceV too) Plus my club opens next month, so I won't be around to argue with that idiot.  This community will see that justice is possible if you are determined and stay mature.

Tis the season to socially engineer... - people take advantage of holiday cheer to make you do something you normally wouldn't.

Vod was someone who I considered a friend in 2014/5. My interactions with him since then makes me believe he will never accept my apology, which makes me sad. My observations of his interactions with OgNasty makes me believe that he has difficulty letting things go. I would prefer to put all this behind me and move on.

The first step is the hardest one.  Admit you are PN7 and show us you have stopped being dishonest.  Or ignore and show you don't mean what you write.  I'll prove to you I can let minor things go, but OGNasty has lost thousands of coins, and is trying to bury it and delete evidence.
1343  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust Violation Apology on: December 26, 2020, 05:57:18 PM
Nice...what should we expect next in the end of this 2020 year?
Maybe Vod and Nasty making peace agreement and burying the hatchet?
Nothing is impossible  Cheesy

Trump can still land humanity on Mars by the end of his first term too.   Grin  Our "feud" will not extend past 2021 - there was too much work to give the community the holiday gift it deserved this year.  :/

Tis the season to socially engineer...

1344  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to find a team for a project? on: December 26, 2020, 05:25:44 PM
Pay attention to the date, and the OP no longer visits the forum.
1345  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust Violation Apology on: December 26, 2020, 12:42:29 AM
That was sad Quicksy - blowing over my offer to actually mean your apology.  :/  After last year's annual plea, you and I made progress in private.  I removed some negative trust, but you still would not prove you returned the btc that TF had sent you.   Later when I tagged an action of PrimeNumber7, your attitude changed 180% towards me.

The escrow victims were refunded publicly, and apologized to privately in 2015, and in both cases, there was no hard feelings.

You claimed that in 2015, and when I attempted to verify it, you started a twenty page thread.    A lot of public hard feelings conflicts the "private no hard feelings" claim.   Don't wave your hand like OgNasty and claim you know what everyone feels.

2020 started out well, but >>I feel<< your failure to identify PN7 as your alt shows you have not changed.  I should have followed SM's lead and not given you yet another chance.

1346  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin blockchain needed! on: December 25, 2020, 09:42:40 PM
Hello,

I'm looking for the bitcoin blockchain in NoSQL format.  I've been searching for a while but I know someone developing a bitcoin project must have it.

I'm paying 0.0042 bitcoin (20-12-25T2145Z) if you can provide a source I can move to my own NoSQL server within a couple days.

Please post your ETA here if you intend to claim the bounty, to prevent others from wasting their time.

1347  Economy / Reputation / Re: On padding your feedback score via trust manipulation . on: December 25, 2020, 09:10:05 PM
When and if trusting the alt affects my rating I would be willing to pull that trust.

So you will remove the trust once the alt enters the DT lottery?  You should clarify that, since that is the only reason you are sending trust from your alt account.

I believe it's OK to leave your alt trust, but not use it in the DT system like you are.

1348  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust Violation Apology on: December 25, 2020, 08:58:32 PM
Quicksy, I had intended on removing a lot of your negative trust before the new year anyway, even though I don't need to.  There are too many people who distrust your escrow activity (double dipping) but continue to trust others whose escrow activity scammed/lost several magnitudes more than you did.

I didn't like the way you sent me a generic "don't involve me in your games"  message from PM7, and I still don't believe you can be sincere while you ask for forgiveness on this account, while pretending you did nothing wrong on your other account.

I'm more than willing to "pardon" you as there are much bigger scammers abound, but don't play me us for a fool.  :/
1349  Economy / Reputation / Re: On padding your feedback score via trust manipulation . on: December 25, 2020, 12:48:48 AM
Lastly I am trying to do this in a way that I can give both trust and feedbacks to people that deserve both. Without padding my main accounts numbers.

I think I figured a way out.

Moving your trust to your alt account is fine, but trusting yourself is obviously going to boost your DT eligibility as others trust your alt.

Remove the trust from your alt, and that would be OK.
1350  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: KINETIC SOLAR BITCOIN FARM on: December 24, 2020, 08:50:24 PM
Considering also the costs of every equipment, the business might take 3 to 10 years to really pay their capital off.

Solar power has finally passed the point where it saves more CO2 than it produces during construction.  (Wind power has not).   I'm hoping a southern club member will land-lease to produce solar energy to mine bitcoin we can give to our members.  Wrap all the expenses and income in a blockchain, and this could be the first community mining project everyone could stand behind.

What people do with their energy is their business, but if I lived at a lower latitude and could get free power, I wouldn't be using it to support a blockchain that misuses energy like bitcoin does.  Survival societies should implement a private blockchain today, and be ready to transfer bitcoin assets and the mining energy to these blockchains when things collapse.

Two people gave merit to this garbage post from a brand new account.

These threads are a good idea, but don't blindy reward those who put no effort in.

Bitcoin reached $24,209.66   Cool just 5 days before Merry Chrismast, it's just like a gift from Santa Claus for all Bitcoin HODLING. Remember to always HODL!!!

I don't think a true HODLer cares about price fluctuations.  Smiley
1353  Other / Meta / Re: [2020] Positive news! on: December 23, 2020, 09:28:04 PM
2020 was the year nature decided to decentralize the consequences of poor hygiene.  Sad

Although the world around me changed little physically, everything has changed online and I feel the smart ones are moving their careers away from public physical interaction.   I'm happy that this forum gave me the ideas, support and opportunity to hopefully spread a lot more coin around to those who need it in the new year.  Crypto = Opportunity!

Unfortunately, 2021 will start out worse for many who are losing rent and other debt protection.   Enjoy this holiday season as much as you can - you may never see a lot of the participants again.  :/
1354  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin block data available in CSV format on: December 23, 2020, 09:11:11 PM
I am sorry. I am still learning how to deal with Json, but it is the best format for web.

HTML is the best format for the web and human consumption of data - you are reading it now.  Smiley

JSON is better suited to data transfer that doesn't need to (but can) be read by humans.

CSV (what LoyceV is doing) is best for import/export of data.

1355  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT trust padding instances on: December 22, 2020, 04:34:00 PM
Please let me know what kind of definitions you three would like to use and I'll see if I can accommodate.

While I believe that using proper terminology will help avoid confusion, it won't stop attacks that are made just to attack...
1356  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT trust padding instances on: December 22, 2020, 01:07:09 AM

Not sure what preference you mean.  I just pointed out that adding someone to your distrust list is not tagging them.  Smiley
1357  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT trust padding instances on: December 22, 2020, 12:55:26 AM
Thanks for stopping by with your explanation. I'm not going to tag your account or anything

Well... that's not entirely true:

If I'm wrong here, I'm open to other interpretations.

I think you are wrong here.  "Tagging" means leaving trust.  nutildah doesn't distrust this user, only who the user trusts (BPIP wording could be changed).

The trust network is meant to be viewed by everyone.   The DT inclusions/exclusions are semi-private.   You tag the public side, right?
1358  Other / Meta / Re: [BPIP] Forum-based Playing / Trading Cards on: December 21, 2020, 03:32:37 AM
You should consider Lambda for your card generation on demand.  The more services you put on a EC2, the slower each gets and you need to needlessly upgrade to a bigger box.  Plus if you use graphics based Lambda functions, you'll reduce those costs further.

I only keep IIS on EC2 and run everything else on specialized services like DynamoDB for the bitcoin blockchain.

1359  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Mining to BlockFi interest accounts with a deposit every day. on: December 21, 2020, 03:04:10 AM
Your interest is accrued daily, but you only get paid on the first business day of every month. The 6% already considers the monthly compounding and it does look correct.

Monthly compounding suggests the interest is accrued monthly, but added to your balance daily.  Does the interest amount change every day?
