2341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sentiment just hit rock bottom on: October 07, 2019, 04:59:50 PM

The night is darkest right before the dawn.  Price dont decrease much if at all, but 2017 is now so far away that is not that easy to remember it. So people are losing hope. People like more the bear markets with hope then the sideways without hope.  In next half year that should for sure end.
2342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins With an Actual Working Product on: October 06, 2019, 09:48:36 PM
If you came to see a list you're not going to.. yet.

I am looking for input on various altcoins that actually have a working product. No vaporware or promised products. Only altcoins that have something working RIGHT NOW.

Please leave some comments with what you know of but be sure to link to something with substance in your post. Proof of a working product or service that is actual being used. No prototypes, no pilots, etc. This will be turned in to a nice list once more information is gathered. Doing some searching myself at the moment.

You are searching for utility tokens? If is just a security token, then is not really used in a product for which they crowdfund founds in the ICO. Utility tokens are used for that product to operate.
2343  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase max withdrawal ? on: October 06, 2019, 07:38:12 PM
Dear Gents,

For example there’s a hard wallet with an x quantity of cryptocurrency.

Bought for €50k and now worth €15 million. All hypothetical okay!!!!

Now you transfer the cryptocurrency from your nano ledger X back to Coinbase.

Will they pay you out the full amount at once?
Are their curtain things you need to look out or watch out for?
What will happen if most cryptocurrency goes on a bull run like end of 2017, will they except (coinbase) withdrawals ? Or they go on a lock down or whatever ......... ?

Thanks and once again all hypothetical the figures !

They should never lock down withdrawals. When that happens it means they have some problems and should not be trusted anymore.
I dont know how is on Coinbase, but most exchanges have several levels of verification. Like first level is you just tell them name and address, and you can withdraw that much per day and per month.  Second level is you scan a document and you can withdraw more per day/month.  When you will be withdrawing $15 millions from any exchange they will for sure do a lot of checking. Do not expect it to happen instant.
2344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the Ton, one of the biggest project ! on: October 06, 2019, 06:57:23 PM
well, recently we hear about TON, the telegram ico project.
many many controversion come from this ico
since from when exactly this ico started i dont know for sure,and then japan exchange offered TON with highly prices , almost 3.50 bucks/each .
however, the private sale from liquid is complete. i quite sure the project will be top by this year.
but now,according from some source ,TON blockchain will be launched in late october.
and also the good news , the telegram blockchain Will Support Ethereum dApps.
so, how u think guys about this one ?
for me, somehow i just speculate TON more promising than LIBRA.
from Any Side.

With ICOs you mainly support a project. ICOs are like crowdfunding's. When I see an ICO I like to support and would love to see their product built, and I believe they can build it I send them some Bitcoins. Dreaming to make profit doing that is supper silly.
2345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fee-less cryptocurrencies...Are they the future? on: October 06, 2019, 06:18:10 PM
Personally, I have found out that fee-less cryptocurrencies are extremely convenient for sending micropayments worldwide. Most of them are blazing-fast in transaction confirmation times, making them an attractive choice on top of Bitcoin or Ethereum. Cryptocurrencies such as EOS, Steem, and Nano have no fees at all, becoming a favorite among several crypto enthusiasts (like me).

Bitcoin and other PoW cryptocurrencies have transaction fees with a reason.  Other "cryptocurrencies" or tokens have different structure and because of that other flaws. You pay no fees when using Secondlife Lindens. But would be so silly to compare Lindens with Bitcoin.
2346  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 06, 2019, 05:56:37 PM
Bitcoin was not made to spend. Not for now. There is a misinterpretation of what Satoshi wrote in the Whitepaper: "A peer-to-peer eletronic cash system". He created bitcoin to be an electronic money system. This is a fact.

Before becoming a monetary system, Bitcoin must be able to preserve value over time. After that, he becomes able to earn society's trust and become a genuine cash.

People accept dollars because they believe that money is still backed by gold (as it was until the end of Bretton Woods), or because (unfortunately) they believe the government will guarantee the value of the currency.

That is, people believe in Dollar because they are sure that money will be at the same value tomorrow. Although this is not true.

99% of the world's population still does not understand, do not know and do not trust Bitcoin. And everything is fine. Bitcoin adoption is a lengthy process that may take decades or centuries to happen.

Bitcoin has never been about just being a simple means of payment. It is not like VISA or Mastercard. He is a legitimate Digital Asset and as such needs to earn trust until it is adopted as money.

Do not spend your Bitcoins. Not now.

Bitcoin is totally fine to be spent. Problem is that KYC and block chain analysis is cracking its pseudo anonymity. For digital cash to be fungible, that must not happen.  I would change your title into, dont spend Bitcoin that is linked to your identity.
2347  Economy / Speculation / Re: lending and hold on: October 06, 2019, 05:22:25 PM
binance the popular site exchange and some questions on lending
why binance does not add lending for long term?
i think that current strategy of  two weeks (3% annualized) and total subscription cap( 3000 btc) not enought
because 14 days or even 28 days can't control the fear of  investors who want hold bitcoin till end 2019 at latest such crash of current days
if binance creat special box loan fund (100000 million btc or more  )for longterm 3 month or more for (6%or 3% or 1% annualized) .. too little , but the dump will stop?

They know that they can make profit only short term. Long term, they would not be able to liquidate traders as much as they can do now.

2349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEW CURRENCY] Maria 2.0 was banned, here is her proof. The birth of Bytecoin! on: October 05, 2019, 09:16:16 PM
Where can I trade dollars for coins?

In your dreams.  Even this thread is almost dead for last 4 years. Why would you not expect this Bitcoin clone is? There are few 1000 or even few 10000 of Bitcoin clones being made all want to be new Litecoin, but failed to trigger interest.
2350  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The real privilege on: October 05, 2019, 08:42:49 PM
In todays society privileges and discrimination are a big thing. Mentions are for example skin color, race, rich/poor etc..
But no one ever talks about the real privilege.
That is beauty. Think about it, if you're beautiful you have so many privileges. Studies have shown that for example in US presidential elections the presidents with more desirable physical traits have 20% more votes than people less attractive.
People that are good looking easily are more respected, have less trouble making friends and in some cases even find it easier to get a job or promotion.
There have even been studies that prove women find unattractive men suspicous while being approached or looked at. With attractive men this is perceived differently.

Beauty is the #1 privilege.

Life is full of privileges. First privilege should be that you were born.  Second that you were born healthy. Then there is pile of other privileges everyone had. Some had more then others.
2351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price fluctuations - Opportunity or despair? on: October 05, 2019, 07:37:12 PM
How do we term this phase of crypto currency wherein all the altcoins are bleeding including the mighty Ethereum but Bitcoin is trending strange wherein when we expect no recovery it's pumping up (short-lived) and then we witness falls and these falls are not quick they fall gradually and then raise gradually as well which has led to frequent price fluctuations. are these price fluctuations a boon for us to make use of it and trade in order to achieve profits or else it's a despair situation wherein we are clueless and don't know what to do ?

Depends how you want to feel you can feel great and think is a great chance to buy, or you can feel bad and think is a bad time to sell. You can simply pick what your day will look like. Same when prices will be close to ATH. You can choose to be miserable to not buy more at times like this.
2352  Economy / Economics / Re: IS 5G AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CRYPTO TO GO MAIN STREAM? on: October 05, 2019, 07:07:53 PM
One of the hottest and most anticipated upcoming technology trends for 2019 is the Fifth Generation (5G) wireless network technology. Rumored to start the new internet of things epoch! Knowing that there is a lot of crypto startups that are using blockchain for various interconnectivity applications and purposes, do you think this might be a good chance for crypto to go more mainstream implementing itself with the new opportunity for decentralized data storing and thus decentralized internet of things?

For sure it will mean a lot. But it will take some time that will be build enough to matter. I read about it few weeks ago and i barely started in few cities beside South Korea that have most users. In 2-5 years time we should already see its impact.
2353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: October 05, 2019, 06:21:38 PM
You are right. If another bear market comes and Bitcoin crash down to 5K USD, Many altcoins will be dead this time. Bitcoin is dominating the crypto market by over 68 %, altcoins are suffering a lot, and at the same time if the crypto market crash, lots of potential coins won't recover again ever! I hope Bitcoin will hold the price up this time, no one wants to see another bull run!

Coins or mainly tokens die when they have no use case. When Bitcoin price decrease, then coins prices decrease in same ratio. That is all. None of them die because of Bitcoin losing value.   There is plenty bitcoin clones that were made for fun and also died fast because had no use case. There are plenty tokens that were actually a security and were used for crowdfunding a project that or did not delivered or their delivery was poor and so those tokens are worth nothing today.
2354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra left alone by a big payment processor on: October 05, 2019, 05:45:13 PM
PayPal has pulled their guns out of the Libra project according to CoinTelegraph. Do you guys think Libra is going to be a big fail of Facebook? Would you actually use a Facebook based coin to make payments at businesses and friends taking into account the previous press scandals like Cambridge Analytica?

No one knows what is behind it. But in general, why would you give Facebook so much money to run a node. Paypal can copy them and sell nodes half cheaper and not just pay but earn.
2355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 -Quarter 4 speculation thread, where will 2019 end, join the LIST on: October 04, 2019, 06:33:00 PM
Good chart never lie. Price on December 31th 00.00 CET  will be exactly $14666

2356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 04, 2019, 05:58:15 PM
I don't know what the heck have happened in the last 2 weeks so bad...

24th September Bitcoin went from $10k to $8k. That is what happened. Monero is almost glued on Bitcoins price from that drop in June.  What happened back then in June is bigger mystery to me.
2357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has seen furthest correction of all bull markets on: October 04, 2019, 05:10:58 PM
Quote from: Rhythm Trader
Pullbacks during previous bull runs:
$490 -> $289 (-41%)
$780 -> $468 (-40%)
$1,115 -> $750 (-32%)
$1,350 -> $900 (-33%)
$3,000 -> $1,800 (-40%)
$4,950 -> $3,000 (-39%)
$7,800 -> $5,500 (-29%)

Current pullback:
$13,880 -> $7,800 (-43%)

Correction depend on strength of bull run. If bull run was weak so will be correction. Since last bull run that happened in Q2 of this year was strong so is strong correction.  What would be good indicator is if you make a table of ratio the pullback had of the strength of bull run. So if bull run was 100% and pullback was 50%, so ratio is 2. If bull run was 200% and pullback 50%, the ratio is 4.
2358  Economy / Economics / Re: Rate cuts money printing inflation on: October 04, 2019, 04:37:49 PM
Fiat money are losing purchase power.Irony is that we had deflation in world after massive printing and rates near zero or below zero.Bitcoin is unique alternative because of his low inflation and because bitcoin independent from Central Banks.If now or near future will be inflation then i think we will have hyperinflation
That case bitcoin is great
I also think that dollar will lose his dominance and bitcoin is great dollar hedge.Will be time when bitcoin and gold will rise together
But the questions is what will replace the dollar when it losses its dominance? Most countries of the world are facing the same problems as the US dollar and many economies are not big enough to use their currency as the reserve currency of the world, some have proposed to use a basket of currencies in order to solve that problem but that has never been tried before, the truth is that if we do not go back to a gold standard a global economic crisis is a given.

So far USD was by far best against inflation. You can see it when looking at gold price. A month ago it reach new ATH in Euro, while it was still 20% below its USD ATH. And this happened in only last 8 years.  Same when you check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=138109.1200 . You see USD in 2019 come on the top 50 list way after other currencies. So only in 1-2 years we see the difference.
2359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC still have any rally before 2020? on: October 04, 2019, 04:03:59 PM
...l, some still at the conservative position that BTC will hover between $7000 -$10000 maximum before the end of this year.

That is not conservative position, but most realistic. Conservative would be to drop to $6000 or even lower.  If you mean to get close to $20000 with a rally, there is almost no chances for that. Similar chances as to drop below $6000. Price will stay where it is until the end of year. Happy sideways everyone!
2360  Economy / Speculation / Re: New printed money into crypto? How? on: October 04, 2019, 02:06:41 AM
As Property and stock markets are booming gold is going up too we have like new economic fresh start everything is going up but Bitcoin is Still down!

Bitcoin is not down. Bitcoin gained this year probably few times more that everything else you mentioned. Price increase for 110%.  How much price of Gold increased from January?  Which stocks you like most? How much those grow?
