I don't buy it. Even if we all saw him move the coins and send them to mixer after mixer and do whatever with them, what can anyone do about it? He is in a country with no extradition treaty and no fear of anything. He has already been proved to have stolen money to buy things for the ex wife, and he is still free to roam about as he likes.

Tell me, if he started spending the coins in China, what do you suppose could be done about it?

At the moment it seems as though he has not moved the bulk of the coins. No one seems to know the reason why. Maybe he no longer has access to the wallets.

Something is very strange about this whole situation. Why would someone steal millions of dollars worth of bitcoin and then not move them around nor spend them? He went through the process of running away effectively becoming a fugitive. Moving away from his family, friends and environment to a new country but is not spending the wealth he stole to fiund what ideally for anyone in his situation would be a lavish lifestyle.

There are so many unknowns here....

I think he stole lots of money... no doubt. I dont know if he took the 11k BTC is what I am saying. He knows he is safe now... and cant get arrested for stealing it if he never comes back. He already stole lots of cash, why would he not spend these coins? It makes no sense at all.

perhaps someone took them from him to draw out his other thefts... and then got scared at the amount and possible jail time and trashed the keys. All im saying is I dont see this as a vern move. Why steal them and not spend them when you have no chance of being punished for it?

What part of the other millions of dollars worth of cryptos that Paul Vernon liquidated and is still spending don't you understand, hence having no need to date for the ~11K BTC?

This ICO dead?

Starts on 1 July and no information here since months?
Tezos not realy active here Sad

There are enough information about the ICO if you are really interested in the project, check REDDIT, you will find information on the project, also their twitter handle

Wow, THE Tezos is so popular and there is no need to post here to let more people to invest. The question is if the coins hit the exchanges, who will buy the coins?

I concur! Like, wow, look at all that activity on Tezos' own forum! Question: To eight decimal places, how many years would it take to read every post on their forum (e.g. 0.00000??? years)?

I lean towards Vern being able to move the BTC..
But doesn't out of fear the BTC will be tracked.

Those keys may be buried in the back yard of a Florida mansion.
A scenario that would be tricky but not impossible to get at.

Paul could simply have his Chinese piece of ass go to a crypto meetup and sell off as needed to fellow attendees. It's a no brainer.

Sure, Azmil, you look at it, then offer Qtum on your exchange -> xchanger.asia

Have you returned all your earnings and assets from stolen crypto to the receiver...

I hear your on the list of complicit and/or incompetent employees

Yes, we have already determined that I drank the koolaid and that the numbers I saw were fudged on dev end. I've been working with the receiver since the beginning, I was actually the first staff member to call and tell them everything I knew. I gave them everything I had to give. I've just been posting here to clear up some questions and share info when I had it.

FWIW, I believe the above account and have spoken in-depth with Horus over the phone, cementing the notion.

That said, onto some fun stuff.

ATTENTION CHINESE THUGS!

Free U$27.5M for the taking. All you have to do to get it is find this man - Paul Vernon - currently living in China.

Upon his capture, take him to a secluded location and politely ask him for the private keys for the bitcoin wallet addresses depicted here; https://blockchain.info/tx/c7b46a79fd8887038bd3a8e884b04820038415a60e0b9d2c2f5bcff68a2687bf

Inform Paul that there'll be 10 levels of asking for the keys, with subsequent levels not as nice as the previous level. Further instruct him that he won't like level 3 upon recovering from level 2.

Rest assured that Paul will provide what's kindly being asked of him by no later than level 2 because he is a pussy. Once the info is provided, kindly let him go, thanking him for the info. That, or let Paul try on a new pair of cement boots in making sure they're comfortable prior to mass producing them for the marketplace. On a side note, Paul loves swimming, so this would be a perfect opportunity to see if your cement boot line is water tight while being donned.

The first person to find Paul Vernon wins.

ONE TINY problem..... Perv Vern may have lost the keys.    Cheesy

No problem! Then Paul Vernon gets to be nicely asked 10 times, whereupon thereafter he'll be sent free to continue living a productive life there in China. As for the questioners, they merely took a calculated gamble worth ~U$28M that didn't materialize as hoped. But it was fun for all parties concerned including us watching on the sidelines.

I'm afraid that The Asking Nicely Ship sailed YEARS ago.

Maybe, but that's for our friends in China to decide, asking less nicely during the level 2 questioning round, whereupon once recovered, Paul would have the pleasure of sitting through the ask-nicely level 3 questioning round, whereupon the pussy would surely crack by then, at which point if Paul asks nicely, our friends may give him a left back to town.

I understand you want to get the news out about Qtum, but why spam inboxes? Very annoying to receive random messages about receiving a PM from a project which I had and still do not have any interest in. Just like back in the day when Ethereum shills spammed the inboxes of reddit users telling them to buy up ETH.
I also received a message, and shit Im not f**king interested in this bullsh*t coin!!!  Angry  Huh  Undecided

Maybe they are just annoying people who are not advocates of their project. But to be honest, I still believe some accusations of Gleb towards this one. My impression is that, the Qtum team were just pressured to come up with solid outcome because they are trying to prove that all the allegations are not true. With such progress, that's a positive development for all the investors.

Yes, not all of my accusations hold water, but the ones that do should be concerning. I like the part where fairly new Chinese exchanges whose principals are directly associated with Team Qtum are the only exchanges currently trading the Qtum token, and even have the pre-launch token represented on coinmarketcap.com. How the fuck did they pull that ruse outta their yellow asses?

My other favorite concern is when it was disclosed that Patrick Dai was Steven Dai, but all of Team Qtum stuck it up our asses, adamantly proclaiming that such was a lie, then Patrick came forward and stated that it was in fact true, further expressing that EVERYBODY in his camp, including angel investors, were well aware of such, and further proclaiming that it's common practice for not only a Chinese person to maintain an English name, but change it to another English name when the wind blows.

But none of the above matters because Qtum in a non-profit entity and IS NOT an investment vehicle as they've stated myriad times, hence being chartered in Singapore where Qtum is forbidden to garner more than 5M SGD (less than U$5M) in its coffer during the lifetime as a Singaporean non-profit.

What is up with your fantasy about cupping men's balls? all I ever see you post about is some insatiable desire to cup someones balls. Damn dude! Go cup your own balls if you have any.

KERMY, you're well-versed as to what the humor surrounding "cup balls" is, stemming from the infamous exchange between Marshall Long and Josh Garza of GAW. Ergo, when said clause is espoused, it's done so under the guise of humor and not fantasy unless, that is, it's a Tuesday, then all bets are off.

Proof that you're versed:

Proof? You're still in your ball cupping fantasy. Who's balls are you cupping today you perverted piece of shit?

Hah!  Lotsa luck, GAWSuit.  Nice fairy tale.

Wait until the SEC gets their hands on Garbanzo.

Yours is the fairy tale. The reality is Josh Garza v SEC. Coming to a courtroom near you soon.

That's between me and my fellow ball-cupper who both, by the way, are versed on how to quote a post.

That said, subsequent posts by you, KERMY, will be deleted.

This project is interesting.  Seems very ambitious of course and the scale of it combined with the history of this forum makes people hesitant to take it seriously.  It would be really cool to see this project become a reality but I think so many of us are separated from Ghana by a large gap of physical location and culture.  So what I am curious about is how interested people can verify that this type of thing actually is able to happen or how would we even be able to verify the projects authenticity with it being so distant?  It's almost like I want to believe in this because at its core is a really great idea but I am having trouble seeing it as real just because of the presentation and that it was posted here on bitcointalk.  Will be curious to watch how this develops.
so true. The inspiration of this project should be a new beginning for everyone. That when we have a brilliant idea. Do not make a big obstacle. Independence in this world must be realized in all fields, especially cryptocurrency. Hopefully the seriousness of this project, can prove to everyone that the strength of Bitland is true.

Thanks for seeing through the bullshit!  Bitcointalk is the worst part of crypto.

That is why Bitland generally avoids this forum.

It is the home of all the trolls of crypto that think they know more than they do.

That said, the project has been going strong for 3 years now, and is not slowing down any time soon Smiley

We actually just submitted a grant application to Cisco foundation to bring digital infrastructure to the Pine Ridge reservation in the US because Cisco Foundation read our white paper and noticed that we used Cisco products to price the infrastructure...

Reading through this thread, I can't come to the conclusion if this is a credible project or a troll nest. I'm only interested because it has a low marketcap and therefore bigger potential to grow compared to most established cryptos...key word established. So can anyone give me any insights on where this project is going or provide any credible links that validate this bitland? Thanks in advance.

Credible link to validate Bitland: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1434155.msg19736777#msg19736777

Insight: New volcanic islands are created every day, ripe for the snake oil that those behind Bitland are currently hawking.

Bonus comment: Deeds for troll nests are pro bono.

Just admit you know jack shit about how plate tectonics and how development of land works...

You're not an expert in anything but trolling Wink

Pretty sure you will only make Bitland look amazing by continuing down this line of rhetoric...so please...please continue about how "land is static and unchanging and will always be in the exact same place forever"

go ahead...that argument is...fantatsic...

lulz

Look, fucktard, after you presented evidence that new land is being created in validating your venture, I presented proof that the creation of land is not static - some is destroyed - with now you echoing my stance. Isn't it time for you to go fuck a gazelle or something?

No idea. I was only away from crypto for a few years and returned a few weeks ago... it beats me

I'm really confused now. How is that now you don't know what those 12 addresses are when just the other day you referred to them here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173703.msg19698396#msg19698396 - in referencing a prior post by me here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173703.msg19660741#msg19660741?

Further, you didn't know who Mark Karpeles was, but have recently cited Mt Gox myriad times, Mark being its CEO since 2010. Are you saying that you haven't been on this forum since prior to then?

Hey i got an IDEA !

What if we tried to look for addresses that were linked to Cryptsy ?

Next this guy is going to postulate that Vern tried to start a new exchange in i don't know maybe China ?
Can you just imagine ? LOL

Oh but I've been here for 8 years though.. don't be fooled by my noob account.
Most posted comment in Bitcointalk history.

Or.. claiming thy are a noob but are in fact on their 100th new account here.
8k users log in each night here but there is well over a million accounts created.
That spells bullshit / deceit game playing galore.

Hey, I just learnt that Cryptsy was also registered in Canada, partnered with Marshall Long.  Roll Eyes I wonder if those servers were erased as well.

Canada was sadly hosted out of the same data centre. As far as I know they didn't have any servers up here unless they had them and I didn't know about them. It wasn't even a separate database or anything, you accessed it all through normal admin panel as far as I remember. When I gave the receiver the Canadian bank accounts I would have for sure told them if there were any servers I knew of.

JollyGood and I thank you for the input, bud.

Please forgive me if this has been answered before but those BTC you mentioned earlier that have not been moved, are these wallets hosted at Coinbase or any other online company or are they regular desktop wallets? Has that been confirmed?

The bitcoins in question are not held by any third-party entity. Paul Vernon controls them.
