Once Tezos comes out, ETH will be a history. Tezos network is more robust than ETH. Let's see how will Tezos work when it launches.

EOS will be a competitor too

based on ICO dates it seems EOS will become an immediate Tezos investor.

EOS will be a competitor too

If you want to buy EOS, I suggest reserve 50% of your money for Tezos.

Tezo is a nice idea and can provide good competition for Ethereum but still has miles to go to reach that level, community is where Crypto derived their value if it can gather strong community it will definitely be great. I know with time one project will beat ethereum to its game but just don't know which one

Any one have better insight of the Proof of Stake of Tezos?

Is there a minimum amount of coins needed to be able to stake?

Is the wallet have to be open in order to stake or closed? (Like NEM).

Slack chan is closed so can't get answers.

Hi folks,

Sorry I've been busy and didn't get a chance to answer. Right now we're focused on improving our testnet and finalizing the details for the crowdsale. We don't have a date yet, unfortunately, we're waiting on the creation of the Tezos foundation which will be responsible for conducting the sale. We should know the date in a couple weeks, please be patient.

Regarding our goals, we want to be a dynamic smart-contract platform. Our two main goals are:

 - high assurance smart-contracts with formal verification
 - a ledger that stays up to date thanks to a governance procedure that allows upgrading on the fly, without hard-forks

It's become very popular to talk about interoperability between blockchains. We're definitely interested in building a Bitcoin SPV client inside Tezos so that smart contracts can react to events on the Bitcoin blockchain. However, ultimately, we don't see interoperability as a critical feature. The economics of blockchains strongly favor concentration onto one ledger, not a collection of domain specific ledgers. As I sometimes say, half serious, half tongue-in-cheek, we are Tezos maximalists.

The same goes with appcoins. We support appcoin issuance on the Tezos blockchain but, for important features, the preferred mechanism won't be to create a new coin (which can dilute the value of the native token) bur rather propose a protocol upgrade tied to a reward. We think this is a way to grow that is more conductive to strengthening the value of the token.
Ethereum congestion is really bad these days due to ICO, will Tezos have the same issue? What is your solution?

I disagree.   There are so many different things already being built on top of Ethereum.   That is not going to just going to halt with the release of Tezos.

I definitely am going in on the drop of Tezos, just still undecided on how much.

I also don't know if I am going to put new money in, or diversify coins that I already have.  Thoughts on that guys?

Is going to provide a strong competition for Ethereum, the backing on Billionaire is a big plus for TEZO because is going to help open the door for the project. Don't forget this is crypto  and no emotional attachment to any project, most projects on Ethereum can easily port to the next big thing, remember Storj team did it recently by moving from Counterparty to Ethereum

I was curious about the price per coin on the ICO as well.   At $.4, I think I would go in decently heavy...not like whale heavy...but maybe like 5-7k.  That would get a pretty sizeable chunk at 40 cents.   Were you talking 40 cents or 4 cents?  Big difference.
