The simplest thing Zack should do is relaunch ADT as new a coin with a newly built wallet and block chain. Make the coin number a lot less. So price will increase and allow current ADT holders to swap to the new coin. This crap has been going on long enough. Its a circus and sad to see DEV doesn't even have enough sense to see he's defeated with this issue. For CRYING OUT LOUD. START A NEW FREAKING COIN WITH THE SAME NAME!!! DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did that its why there is adtv2 it cost me 4btc to get it made ( 4k usd at the time and since them paid over 10btc to people that had proven themselves reliable to make paches to sort it and not a single patch has worked it seams that everyone will do a runner if the money is right Sad

You can get a Coin made for 0.3 BTC now...

If you sit on your hands waiting forever, eventually even Cryptsy will get tired of it and just delist it and then it's worth 0.

what do you think  Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Do not trust coins-e and COL unless they compensate everyone for their lost coins/time.

Search the forum and you'll find many threads similar to this.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=418416.0

What would you suggest is the best way to do this yet still have room to invest in the infrastructure?

Still have some time yet (1-2 weeks) before we would do any presale so right now you can just mine it, have some Coins and we can discuss all options. It's in our best interests to make it as fair as possible but unlikely to be able to compensate everyone since many exchanges have also gone under in which proof cannot be provided.
2365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon X13 POW/POS - 29/01 PayMace Launched [POS 30 Coins per Block] on: February 09, 2015, 07:57:04 AM
Hey, I have downloaded the wallet, got my coins into it through C-Cex, but what I ain't getting is, if it's still in PoW phase, will it start staking though without being in PoS mode? One more question whose answer may have been missed by me at Cex chat, can you please let me know that if the /block reward will be 30 coins per block during PoS, will they be calculated & distributed based on my wallet's stake weight and network weight, or I will get 30 coins block by block, obviously after everyone getting matured one by one?

You will have a chance to Stake depending on the size of your Blocks, larger Blocks (300-1000) will Stake sooner than smaller Blocks. All Blocks you Stake will reward 30 Coins per block, the minimum Stake age is 2 days and begins as soon as Coins enter your wallet and is calculated as the Stake weight per Block of Coins vs. the network weight.

In simplified terms

If you send yourself 10 transactions of 400 Coins, You have 10 Blocks of 400 Coins each and after a minimum of 2 days they have a chance to Stake when you have your wallet open. Each Block of 400 Coins would Stake for a reward of 30 Coins and split into two equal Blocks of 215 Coins. It's still in POW/POS Stage and the Blocks are roughly 50/50 between POW and POS.

Take a look at the PayCon Block Explorer and check out some of the transactions to help get a better idea.

1 satoshi is too cheap, it's half the price currently being traded if these coins are split 1/20.  So 2 satoshis would be better. (180 litoshi)

Yeah that would be fine too, could even do bidding, we can just mine it though POW and into POS and wait to make sure everything is done right. Just need to work through the last few things in building it, Sudo wants me to release it right at the scheduled time but I think it might be better to just get it going in the next day or and release it as soon as it's ready and not really adhere to a strict deadline.

why so many coins? Why not make them a lot less?

A lot of Coins create larger buy and sell walls so you have more stability in price and can be spread across many exchanges and tradeable against many different Coins without losing volume over all.

ColossusCoin represents a large float in itself so it's good to stick to that, we had a long discussion about Float sizes and price and agreed that a reduction in the total float from 313 Billion was needed but most wanted higher and some wanted lower so went with the mid end in order to eventually trade in the 60-160 Satoshi range similar to DogeCoin on the high end or 10-15 Satoshi similar to ReddCoin on the low end.
2370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Colossuscoin v 2.0 (CV2) | Launch date: February 08 [X13] Pow/PoS on: February 08, 2015, 12:31:13 PM
Is this able to be mined or is it 100% premine for swap with old coin?

Most will be Premined for Swap

19.1 Billion Premine

POW 1000 Coins per Block for 10,080 Blocks (10 days)

POW will also generate fees of 20 Coins per block

After approx. 5000 Blocks POS will start and estimated at 60% POS and 40% POW.

Total estimated amount through POW would be in the neighborhood of 20 Million.

15.8 Billion reserved for swap at 20:1 plus 1% Fee for escrow

Remaining 3.3 Billion (17% of total float) for sale and part of Development Fund

We don't have to do an ICO straight away but would need to sell some of the Coins for initial funding of services (block explorer, multipools, exchanges, wallets, nodes etc.)

I am thinking if we sold 10% of the Coins at 1 Satoshi that would be plenty still for all services and initial seed money (approximately 19 BTC). We can use escrow for all of it, even the money raised for services.

If buying at 1 Satoshi each it would value the entire Float at $38,000-$45,000 USD which would be a fair valuation for everything surrounding it and would likely make it quick to achieve ROI or to hold for the long-term.

how was the first project?

Learned a lot about Proof of Stake in general with it. ColossusCoin was the first Proof of Stake only Coin but not really built to scale but I want to continue with the project but it would be better to have something more refined, sometimes it's easier to just make something new rather than trying to fix the old one. The main issue with it is the messaging system, low fees, fast stake and long minimum Prooof of Stake so to just change all of that and keep with the near 1 GB Blockchain just wouldn't make sense. Having something that is built to be more efficient in growth per year and starting from the beginning means the Blockchain would grow at around 300 MB per year and fully sustainable for growth without needing bootstrapping for a minimum 1-2 years. These are just rough estimations mind you since it depends more on the volume of transactions but Col 2 would be atleast 60% more efficient than Col 1.

Keep it simple.

Why did you think anyone would pay $20 for a coin when you launched?

What are you doing to make paycoins worth $20 in the near future?

+1

All josh really has to do is keep working at it, stop making crazy promises and maybe even do an audit of his financial dealings. Who owe's people what? I think the best approach would be if he voluntarily owned up that some of his stuff didn't work out and compensate people with his reserves. Josh should forget about the $20 wall for now and figure out how to create a coin worth $200, look at how much time is being wasted on all of this.

Grin

Well so just read it like'we will be here for 4 more days and then disappear. But we promise to come up with another ICO'. Lol

Look at that kids above, everyday here for talking bullshit, and some people will ask why the devs will leave the project.... or why the price is so low   Roll Eyes

This forum is full of kids @Battareus you will get a cancer, how old are you? your history is full of hate, only hater messages, sad life obviously.

@omegadevteam make this thread moderated if you really want to save your reputation.

Hey StonerStanley, thank you for your continuous support.

We don't think that making the thread moderated would be better for the project, there's really nothing we can do against troll/fudders but to ignore them and let our actions speak louder than our words.

In the meanwhile we just confirmed some more exciting news, Omega will launch IN-WALLET browser surfing. With i2p and tor proxies included. This means you will be able to access the OmegaMarkets directly from your wallet!
We hope this step will contribute to the market adoption.

The ETA for the in-wallet browsers is 1 week.

Thank you.

I agree with the no moderation, you can't stop the trolls and you shouldn't. If you moderate the thread then people will complain that you are deleting posts.
