The last T20 match will be played today. Newzealand will be captained by Tim Southee as Kane Williamson because of a pre-arranged medical appointment. He is expected to rejoin the team ahead of the three-ODI series which will begin from Friday. Except SKY all other batters failed in the last T20 match. I hope most of them if able to bat do not repeat the same mistake in today's match. I am also certain that Deepak Hooda will get to bowl all his four over today due to his performance in the previous match. Newzealand would like to win today in order to draw the series and India would like to win today in order to win the series, expecting a entertaining T20 game between these two teams.
After winning toss New Zealand is on batting with good start for India Arshdeep take early wicket of Allen which is surely big one now Mohammad Siraj takes second one and after five overs New Zealand is having good start of 44/2 today they are playing without their captain Williamson right now Chapman and Convey on crease they need good target if they want to level the series after losing second T20i through SKY amazing batting. Look like today Convey is going to copy SKY but much behind as right now he is on 23 after playing 17 balls, hopefully things could be good for them if they are able to have nearly 180 runs on board because this could be good fighting target for the ruthless Indian batting lineup. @wiss19 it seems to me that New Zealand are taking a cautious approach in this game, because it’s almost the 10th over and they have scored just 68 runs. Furthermore I’m kinda disappointed that team India did not experiment and tried their bench player’s today, so does anyone else feels the same that this was a good opportunity and that the management should have taken a bold approach for this game by changing the playing 11?. The way Newzealand were going when Phillips and Conway were on the pitch I thought they will easily reach 180 or more. Then the Indian bowlers namely Arshdeep and Siraj brought India back and now the Indian batters have a target of 161 runs. In my opinion it will be not that easy for Indian team to chase this target if they rely solely on the performance of SKY. I feel the openers need to stay a bit longer and form a partnership rather going after the bowlers. |

Australia V England
The third and final ODI match between Australia and England will take place shortly after. Australia won the first two matches quite easily. And in the first two matches we saw England batting badly. If England's batsmen can't bat well in today's match then I don't see any chance of them winning. Because the Australian players are very confident today after performing well in the first two matches. If England wants to win, they will have to perform well.
It would be a shame for England to lose all the matches in this series against Australia. So today the players of England will try their best to win. But the players are not in good form, it is very difficult for them to win.
Australia has already won the series and hopefully would end up winning the last ODI too. Pathetic performance by the English squad. I cannot believe few days back they won the T20WC. At the end of 13th over Australia has already scored 81 runs and have not lost a single wicket. The CRR is more than 6 at the moment and if they are able to maintain it till the end of 50 overs then Australia will easily set a target of more than 300 runs which I presume would not be easy for the English batters to chase. |

India finally managed to make a good target of 191 ,what an outstanding batting by Suryakumar Yadav 111 runs just 51 balls . What a fine batsman he's, now it's Newzealand turn and they will definitely have tough time in chasing target . Right now they are on 53 for 1 wicket RRR is 12 so this seems like a win for India.
India wins whenever Suryakumar Yadav is performing since his debut he is one of the most consistent performer in the team. India won by 65 runs and India does perform in bilateral series but during ICC tournaments they always fail to win the tournament. Rishabh Pant was sent to open the innings and i had my expectations to be the next Adam Gilchrist from India to take advantage of the power overs and he failed miserably once again as an opener  . The selectors should accept the fact that Rishabh Pant is more of an ODI and Test player than a T20 player. It looked like Suryakumar Yadav was literally batting on a different pitch. His strike rate was 217 and the next 21 batters SR in this match were averaging just above 100. That was a shocker! Pant batting at the top order is a nice move due to his gameplay, just give him 5-6 matches if he fails then others are waiting in line. SKY is the only batter who has scored two centuries in a T20I match within a year. Lockie Ferguson looked so helpless when SKY started going after him. The poor guy tried every available option in his last over against him but everything failed. If it was not SKY then India would have given a target of Max 150 runs. Good thinking by Indian team management in promoting SKY on the batting order. |

India bowlers dominating the second session with great success. The game is slowly drifting away from Newzealand and in just couple of overs India will win the second T20 match. Very clever captaincy by Hardik Pandya, created pressure using the spinners and letting the Newzealand batters take unwanted risk resulting in the loss of their wickets. 192 runs target did gave india a psychological advantage which also is responsible for the failure of Newzealand team.

Why is it do hard for Indian batters to rotate strike? When you know SKY is capable in hitting the ball out of the boundary you just need to take the single give him the chance to bat. Three batters lost thier wicket just to prove they can also hit big in the last over. Only because of SKY the Indian team were able to give a target of 190+ to the Newzealand team. It has been always entertaining to watch SKY bat in last overs. A well deserved second T20 century fir him.

I really hate it when they bring in something and make it about religion. There is no need to do that at all. Now I know that there are a lot of controversies going on with the ICC and the way they handle things. A lot of people do say that India is always being favored by the ICC. But the thing is people are not going to respect your team. If you do not respect it yourself. And respect will always come when you start playing well. As you said, Virat Kohli was out of form for quite a while. But I don’t think that former cricketers or even the media of India said anything bad about Virat Kohli. They supported their flair when he needed them the most. Well to be fair to them, for some weird reason almost everyone from Pakistani side brings religion. Be it Waqar's comment or recently Rizwan's post-match interview after winning the semis against kiwis. I can't imagine such language from BCCI's officials, Indian commentator or Indian team. Well! Half of the Pakistani team believe in tabliq. There is nothing wrong in preaching your religion but mixing it up with professional sports is a concern. The biggest example of such kind of behaviour was when Md Rizwan plaided the lord for his achievements in the semifinal against SA multiple time. The clip has become viral now. Nepal's batting and bowling are excellent. Where UAE lost 9 wickets to score 176 runs, Nepal won the match by scoring 180 runs for 4 wickets. One more thing is important Aasif Sheikh who remains unbeaten with 88 runs. Gyanendra Malla also played a good innings of 64 off 73 balls. Above all, Nepal cricket is going to give something new to the cricket world. Nepal might do better if they play series with some other good teams. The most important thing is that Nepal managed to win the series against a team that is ranked higher (and with better facilities and other factors) and that too in the absence of their best player (Sandeep Lamichhane). I am not sure when Lamichhane will return to the squad, but in this series the Nepali spinners put up a strong performance. Nepal is a cricket crazy country and all of their players are natives. And these are important factors that will be considered when the ICC decide on the fund distribution for 2024-31. I have never seen a match where Nepal was playing. I do not have any idea about the players in playing in the Nepalese team. Considering what you have been stating that the whole team comprises of native Nepali people I think winning against professional players in UAE team is a great achievement. Although the British are the inventors of cricket but India and Pakistan are among the most popular countries in cricket. And if I compare these two countries, India will be the best. I cannot fathom the love of the Indians, But the passion I have seen in Indians for cricket is much more than any other countries in the world. I remembered a movie named "Lagaan" 2001 Indian hindi sports drama written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The love for cricket, that was born in the people of that time continues till today. The film is produced by Aamir Khan, British actors Rachel Shelley and Paul Blackthorne. The film is dubbed in English. You can see the movie if you want.
Lagaan was one of greatest movie based on cricket. I do not think a movie which such an interesting story and plot created by Bollywood on cricket to date. Those were the golden years of Bollywood when they were innovative and now they are just churning old hit or creating remake. I also agree the two big rivals have the biggest fan base of cricket who are spread across the world. When India and Pakistan play against each other it is not cricket but it is a war of honour. The amount of pressure the players face is enormous and the amount of nerve racking experience fans face is simply unexplainable. |

The first T20 match between India and New Zealand has been abandoned due to rain. This match was telecast live from New Zealand's Sky Stadium.
Earlier head to head India and New Zealand faced each other twenty times in total in which New Zealand won in total ten times, India won in 9 matches. Only one remaining match result is void. However, New Zealand is much stronger at home.
So only two matches left in this series and hopefully those two should not get abandoned by rain. I am sure many Indian fans wanted to see the considerably new team in action. I was eager to know which two batters were supposed to open the batting in today's match but everything got shattered due to the rain. |

I am not sure why Gill has been choosen to open he is basically good in the middle order. I assume Indian team management might be experimenting at the moment. Eagerly waiting for the match to start.
The match is scheduled for 12pm India time, but as of now it is raining at the Sky Stadium in Wellington. The toss has been delayed and the teams are yet to announce their playing XI for the match. Adam Milne maybe included in the New Zealand XI for today's match and may create trouble for the Indian batsmen with his raw pace. Trent Boult is not playing, so either it will be 4 seamers (Adam Milne, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson & Blair Tickner), or 3 seamers and two spinners (Mitchell Santner & Ish Sodhi). The rain has stopped before time and hopefully the match will start in just few minutes. Adam Milne might also get support from the weather condition. The team that wins the toss might bowl first due to cloudy condition. Pacers will have advantage due to the weather condition. Therefore toss will play a crucial role in this match. |

In this match the team who plays well will advance. But in this match we are waiting to see a good game between India and New Zealand. Many people are waiting to see which team will win this match. Some days. Earlier we saw that India could not reach the World Cup final after losing to England in the World Cup match. Let's see what India can do in this match. This match would be entertaining for sure as both these team lost in the semifinals. As an Indian I know we wanted to avoid Newzealand in the semifinals of the T20WC. The Indian team management did feel the same but after getting defeated by Pakistan many fans like me wanted India to play with NZ inthe semis. India team is full of new and deserving talents. It would be interesting to see Hardik Pandya as a captain in an international T20 series. |

You have to feel for the players. Every cricket board treats them like a cash cows and tries to milk them as much as possible.
World Cup just finished and only after 3 days, they are back on the grounds so that board can make some money.
To some extent, ODI is understandable but look at Ind vs NZ t-20 series. Looks like a joke to me.

For now BCCI is damm serious about the next cup and they have also hinted that they are looking for new talents. My take, overconfident BCCI now going back to basics for the next T20WC. Except the first match against Pakistan I do not see an exceptional batting by the legend. He was able to provide a stable middle order but the pressure of NRR did drill down to those batters who came after them. SKY was the reason why India was able to capatalize a run chase or put on board a decent target. If you are in the middle order and an experience batter you should be responsible to increase the NRR rather those coming after you. Thankfully BCCI has now taken the right decision in dropping some of the legends in T20 international.
Agreed. India managed to win the matches thanks to quick batting by SKY and due to the pace bowlers. Although Virat scored runs, he was too slow (except in the game against Pakistan). And let's not forget the fact that he has been out of form for the last 2-3 years. Selectors urged him to take a break and participate in domestic matches, but he refused their advice. And then got in to a brawl with Sourav Ganguly as well. IMO, Virat Kohli has no place in the Indian T20I team. He should concentrate on the test format. Test cricket is his speciality but I think he can contribute in ODIs considering his recent performance in T20WC. T20 cricket is not a cup of tea for those who bat by the book. It is a format where you need your presence of mind and the ability to hit the Baal out of the boundary whenever it is required. I do like his aggression in the field but sometimes he makes a fool of himself doing the same. |

Australia roaring like tigers at their venue. England managed to score 162 runs in 22 overs after losing 1 wicket. Their game looks like a T20 match. Even if England scored 350 runs in today's match, they might not have expected a certain win. However, if David Warner can play some more time then it might not take long to end the match. England need early wickets especially the wicket of David Warner. It is the first ODI and maybe England will try to learn from their mistakes in the next game. Complete domination and control by the Australian batters. Both opening pairs were incredible in today's match. David Warner & Travis Head have put the Australian side in a winning position. It is no more possible for England to turn this game. It is a win win situation for Australia now. They have only lost 2 wickets and have already chased more than 200 runs. |

Currently England is underpressure they take 118 run from 23 over and they have already lost 5wickets. Todays match gonna be little hard for England except Dawid Malan they don't have any good batsmen to come out of this pressure. If Dawid Malan can't survive I think they won't cross 200. For today I take already Australia for my bet।
Considering it is a 50 match over the current RR is good. What concerns is the amount of wickets England has lost. Unless and untill they form a partnership then they would not surpass 250+ runs. With the current RR the projected score is more than 280. I was not expecting the winner of T20WC would have a bad start in a 50 over match. |

Virat kohli was out of form from almost a year and he starting performing again in Asia Cup and world cup but there is still one thing his pace of making runs is slow ,he is not perfect for T20 format and he'll be best for ODI'S and test cricket. Although he is among highest scorers in recent world cup but still if he practices other formats of cricket more than there will be more success for him.
Have you seen Virat Kohli's batting in this World Cup? India where in trouble with their opening batsmen and started a bad slow innings. Then Virat Kohli would come in and lengthen the innings, making it important for him to stay at the crease, which would make him bat a bit slower at first. I think Virat Kohli is still perfect for T20 and Team India would like Virat to play more T20 matches. The first ODI between these two team is being played today. A total of 3 ODI will be played between these two teams. Australia won the toss and selected to bowl first. England has already lost 3 wickets for 38 runs at the end of 8th over. Not a good start for the T20WC winners. Any target less than 250+ runs would be easy to chase for the Australian side.
