The first T20 match between India and New Zealand has been abandoned due to rain.  This match was telecast live from New Zealand's Sky Stadium.
Earlier head to head India and New Zealand faced each other twenty times in total in which New Zealand won in total ten times, India won in 9 matches.  Only one remaining match result is void.  However, New Zealand is much stronger at home.

So only two matches left in this series and hopefully those two should not get abandoned by rain. I am sure many Indian fans wanted to see the considerably new team in action. I was eager to know which two batters were supposed to open the batting in today's match but everything got shattered due to the rain.

Generally Indian cricket fans have a distinct attraction towards cricket, they love cricket with their heart.  When the Indian team fails in any big target especially in semi-final or final, cricket lovers suffer more than the players.  Anyway, I hope that the next two matches are not abandoned due to rain.  However, New Zealand receives a lot of rain during this season.  So it would not be unusual for a match in New Zealand to be abandoned due to rain.

It's true, when India played in the last semi-final, the ticket price for the World Cup final was around $300. But when India loses in the semi-final, the value of each ticket drops drastically. The price of each ticket then drops to $75. Which is not only the defeat of India, but also the spectators and also the cricket organization. India is a cricket loving country. Cricket is in the blood of the people of this country. Today's match has been abandoned so many people are regretted. Since there is no human control here, it is only logical to prepare for the next match.

Yes I agree that Lagaan was the greatest movie related to cricket. Also, Amir Khan did a splendid performance in that movie. It was nominated for the Oscar award for best foreign film but unfortunately could not win the Oscar award. That was way back in 2001/2002.

The cricket world was waiting for something where India and Pakistan would fight in the world cup. But India failed to go that position. They lost in the semi final against England. If the cricket board of the two countries agree then a series can be organized but India does not want to make such type of series. I do not know where is the problem? However, what I can guess is nothing but political ease. They can play together in any other tournament but they will not play any series. India and Pakistan should forget all the misunderstanding and start a new series again, which will give the spectators pleasure as well as opportunity to earning big amount of money.

Now we have to face few realities it's not all about India vs Pakistan if we have India vs England then still there was chance attendance could be around 95000 to 100000 because India fan base is huge and with the development of country now middle class families are able to go abroad and watch their team in ground like we have Barmy Army from England I was reading just for final there were around 50000 Indians those already book their tickets as they were sure about this, but sadly England outclass them into final.

Even many are feeling India vs Pakistan is the biggest event but hopefully in near future we will have good changes and peoples will love to watch other matches also like this as India vs England and India vs Australia because it's all about quality and performance just rivalry is not going to work.

I would say ICC should check possible weather conditions and then select the venue. In the World Cup to we have seen several important matches change results only because of rain. England's defeat against Ireland and Bangladesh's defeat against India was mainly due to rain.

ICC should look at the weather and climate change before making the list of playing venue and then select the list.And in this T20 World Cup, we have seen many good teams defeated only because of bad weather. Bangladesh India's match due to bad weather, Bangladesh performed well in the match Couldn't do better.In the match between Ireland and England, England did not perform well due to rain due to which they lost. So I would say ICC should examine all aspects and then come up with a venue list.

I have heard that the ticket for the final match was already bought by a huge number of Indian supporters. But in the end, India did not reach the finals. So, a lot of tickets were eventually sold by Indian supporters later. I don’t know if this is true, but I have heard that this happened after that India VS England match.

And the movie you are talking about was about that time when India was being ruled by the British. And obviously, England was the birthplace of cricket. So obviously the British were better at cricket. And in various scenes of that movie, the British actors were seen mocking the Indian people because of not being able to play cricket. And a lot of Memes were made with those scenes in that movie...

No one has control over the rain and weather however i am hopeful that we see a full match at Mount Maunganui on Sunday between these two teams, India and New Zealand.

The odds by stake.com are pretty similar to what they were for the first match. New Zealand is the favorite team with odds of 1.66 and India with 2.14. Both teams are the losers in the semi final of the world cup and they would want to win this series in order to make up for their loss.
