I didn't know that Floyd Mayweather has an upcoming exhibition match against Mikuru Askakura a MMA fighter, this month of September. And also I didn't know Mayweather has love for the country of Japan or the fighters, lol. After this fight, he might fight against a Korean fighter. Hopefully this fight will entertain us more compared to when he fought Tenshin Nasukawa.
He loves fighting Japanese and he loves to make easy money.

Just imagine this ;

FLOYD MAYWEATHER earned a staggering £52,000 per second for his one round demolition of Tenshin Nasukawa in Japan.

Floyd's fights now are just to make money, and there's no way he will choose a fighter that has a chance of beating him, his undefeated record will remain even after retirement.
2362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: September 04, 2022, 10:41:59 AM

As for Haney and Kambosos, the result is not determined yet but as for speculation, yes we might see a trilogy soon but Kambosos's chances is somehow lower compared to Haney. Kambosos will the same trouble piercing through the latter's defenses and he is not a KO artist, that makes the fight more harder.

Both Lomachenko and Haney are expected to win on their respective fights, that happened, we will see a big fight between them. Though I must say that Kambasos vs Haney is a big fight, but we cannot deny that people believe this fight is non sense as obviously Haney will still dominate again.
2363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 04, 2022, 09:12:13 AM
He needs to win here, but if he losses, there's no other way but to move up in weight, though it will not hype him but IMO, that's the right thing to do for him to be comfortable in maintaining his weight. He will have to start his journey in a new division and hopefully we will continue to support him.

Let's say Jerwin Ancajas will lose here, does it really a good decision to just left that division and moved up?

How can he even get good fights at Super Bantamweight if he is struggling with some of the best fighters in Junior Bantamweight?

If he loses, moving up for me is not a good decision. Start from scratch and have a goal to become a champion again at Junior Bantamweight which is his comfort zone at most points of his career. He dominates that division for several years and I'm sure he can repeat it.

But of course, that was just speculation as I believed he will win here in this rematch against Martinez and then finally move up.

If the problem is weight then definitely he will have to move up because his body can't adapt to this lower weight anymore. And just like what Teo Lopez did, cherry pick a fighter, a boxer that has a good record, but he can easily beat in the fight because he has far more superior skills. It's up to his manager and promotions MP and Sean Gibbons to find him that target in the next weight and work his way up, put up a good string of wins and maybe he will have a crack at the belt again. Jerwin is young so the future is still bright for this kid.

That's the right thing to do, he cannot make the same excuse if he again loses in the rematch, time to move up in weight and try to be a contender for the champions. It's not over yet for Ancajas, he can win here and be a champion, however, it's not easy to beat Martinez, what we saw in the first fight was Martinez is a very dominating boxer, so let's expect that Martinez will start strong and only a good stamina can help Ancajas survive and win.
2364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 04, 2022, 08:54:26 AM
being the underdog in this match should give butler a very good motivation to prove the boxing community that he has something to offer also inside the ring. so either he will be very prepared on this fight or just let this fight be over and collect his paycheck. but his performance inside the ring will determine if he will get another good fight in the future, even if he will lose on inoue. now, let's wait the odds of other betting lines on this match because right now, it is not worth betting at 1.02x on inoue, right?
Even if no one is really expecting that Butler wins this fight it is very important for him to give his best performance possible, losing against Inoue is not shameful at all and in fact it is the expected outcome, but if he can lose against Inoue by giving his all and giving a good fight that is going to be enough to give him access to more and better fights, and this could also generate enough interest from the fans to want to see a second fight, but if he is completely dominated by Inoue then even if a second fight happens no one is going to be interested in watching it.
I think Butler should not go toe to toe with Inoue as he knows how powerful Inoue's punches are, if he makes one mistake, that could end the fight and he will lose via KO. The same strategy he used in his last fight, I think that's the right straight, run and score, and let the fight reach the judges' scorecards.
2365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 04, 2022, 07:35:54 AM
With confidence or none, it's quite hard to put that back on track for Westbrook. True, the numbers speak for themselves and teams would just look at his past performances for the teams that he has played.
I don't think all teams would like to have that player that has been once too good and desired by most but dropped a lot on his performance. A few probably will but most of them won't find it worth signing him.
You know what is weird about westbrook? The reality is that he would be a perfect player for many teams, he would still be the famous triple double master for so many teams in the league, hell you could put him on warriors and he would beast there, he would be so so so amazing and would get rings there. Why and how?

Well, simply because Klay and Steph would be shooting outside, and westbrook would just take the ball and go in, he would go pass his man with his explosive first step and pace, and if someone comes to defensive help, then he would pass out, even if he can't pass to Klay or Steph, he would find an open man and in that team that is a killer chance. So, it is only Lakers that is the problem, not Westbrook.

It's not Westbrook who is going to dictate what he wants to do with the Warriors if he will be able to play with the team. Look Andrew Wiggins, he was criticized on his previous teams because he does not live on the team's expectation, but when he was signed with the Warriors, we saw how effective he was in the NBA finals, and he was one of the biggest reason for their success.

Starters / solid 5 from both sides might be Erram, K. Williams, Poguy, Castro and M.Williams, while for SMB, they might start with Perez, Ross, Lassiter, Tau and Fajardo.

TNT can't afford to sit out Castro in this game so i think they will let him play as this will be the last game for this conference. Looks like history repeats itself on TNT on their championship series against Ginebra the last two years where Castro was injure or it was Parks (not sure) and they lost that series so maybe SMB will take the crown tonight.

To be sure, i'm taking the ML as they would be a defense-oriented game and a low scoring game so the winning margin for this game might not be wide.

Same here, I have a bet on ML on SMB, I don't like to complicate things as this is a game 7, do or die so not going to bet on the handicap or the over/under.

Just put good value bet on ML like what you did and you are good to go and sit and see how it goes. I think JunMar will play very good in this last game.

So best of luck for those who are going to support SMB tonight.

That looks easy, getting that ML odds is good if you really think that SMB will win here 100%.

No Castro, TNT will struggle here, I'm thinking, maybe they'll win the first half but SMB will dominate the 2nd half.
TNT would lose its consistency without Jayson Castro, so that's the scenario I'm seeing.

good luck @bisdak40

Butler now gonna win this fight because of this odds.

Naoya Inoue has opened as a massive -3300 favorite against Paul Butler.

According to the best boxing betting sites, the Japanese Monster has a 97.1% chance of capturing the last gem of the bantamweight division, opening as a massive -3300 betting favorite to beat Paul Butler in an undisputed title fight:

It does not look good on the side of Butler, everyone is thinking that Inoue will win this, that -3300 is a big statement, big disrespect.
And hey, 97.1% chances of winning, it gives Butler an almost impossible chance to win.

Might be disrespectful on Butler's side but that's really the situation here.

Paul Butler is nowhere within Inoue's league and as I said, it's just because he was elevated to WBO Title Holder from the interim, that's why he become a choice as an opponent for Naoya Inoue. Even if our Jonas Sultan won that match, Inoue will still have an easy win over them.
Of course, since everyone will be betting on Inoue, then that would make him a heavy favorite on the betting odds.

Nonito Donaire is the only Bantamweight boxer I see that can go toe to toe with Inoue. But since Inoue now finally destroys this old guy in just the second round, how can Butler even survive him when we all know that Donaire at his age can still defeat Butler today?

Casimero wasted the opportunity to fight Inoue. He should be the one fighting Inoue now. The pandemic delayed their first match until no progress, later on, have been made to make it happen.

It's now a dream now that Casimero will face Inoue. There's no even update yet when Casimero will return to the ring.

Nonito Donaire is already old and he got knocked out in the fight,  so no doubt Inoue really is a KO artist. If only Casimero has fought him, we might see a big fight that will excite us. You are right, he wasted the opportunity, it could be Inoue vs Casimero in this unification fight.

I can't believe the spread in game 7, this is very interesting because TNT is now +4.5, and 2.45 for moneyline.

Anyone, what do you think about the odds, for sure TNT backers would think that the handicap is very attractive.
Also, how about Castro, do we have a confirmation whether he will play or pass tomorrow?

Typically bookmaker base there odds on previous match of the same team on this case was game 6 which SMB was ahead by 18 points at the end of the game. This is a very huge gap and there’s a chance that SMB can repeat due to momentum. The odds is really good if you are a solid TnT fan because you can support your team with a high odds on your bet.

And also Castro questionable might be one of the huge factor on why the ML for TnT increase the odds. I think he will play on the last game since he already expressed his willingness to play on game 7 base on his yesterday interview. This is just a 1 game away to championship tho.

Castro being questionable should be the factor why the handicap for TNT is high. however, TNT cannot be underestimated, they are a great team and even without Castro, I think they will be able to give a good game because they also wants to win. TNT needs to play together, just like what they did in game 5.

Of course, because so far, he is the best player of TNT, not having your best player will certainly result to a decrease of winning chances. It's still to early to judge, they had not make an announcement, so probably the best thing to do is wait for game time and place your bets.

I also like the under, I know both teams are good offensively, but I believe game 7 is not going to be a fast pace game, their shooting percentage will probably go down.
2370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 23 on: September 02, 2022, 07:10:08 PM
The odds speaks it all. This isn't really an exciting match. Although an upset is always a possibility in the sport of boxing, I cannot see how Conceicao would manage to defeat Shakur. Robson doesn't have the power to easily knockout Shakur. He doesn't have that strong haymaker that could suddenly turn the tide in his favor. Stevenson on the other hand is very much at his career's peak, very young and quick. And although he isn't a knockout artist either, he could easily outpoint Robson.
That's his skills, he moves quick and he is not a knockout artist so he will be able to conserve his energy well. He is more like a technical fighter, knows how and when to attack, so this one should be another walk in the park fight.  Smiley

That's likely going to happen but we should refrain from using that term as we would be underestimating Robson that much if we say that this fight would be a piece of cake for Shakur, even if we know that Shakur truly has the odds in his side.

Surely Shakur himself knows that he ain't the KO artist type but it's quite certain that he will pursue other ways to bring the fight into his favor (fairly) and improve his scores as the fight likely ends in a decision.

very high possibility that shakur will win on this fight. however, if you will bet on him right now, the odds is just like 1.05x, which is not worth if you are betting small. no other betting lines yet are available. maybe, couple of weeks from now, bookies will open more betting lines for this match, like the winning method and if the fight will go the distance. i guess, those betting lines are better to put your money into and try your luck.

Right now is not the best time to place a bet for this fight, it's still too early. I reckon it would be more suitable to bet somewhere like 48 hours before the fight starts and I usually do that but if the odds aren't that tempting to see then I think I'll pass on this fight but I will watch this of course, it's great to see younger boxers making their way to be known in the industry.
Unless you are a fan of Robson, then it's better to place a bet on him ML as the odds are very attractive.

But if you are a Shakur fan, yes, I do agree, it's better to wait for the fight to get close. For sure there will be a lot of betting options for us, like by per round, or round range.

Although when we look a the schedule of this fight, it's 3 weeks from now and for sure the hype is also building specially that this fight is going to happen on Shakur's hometown.

Actually, it is not totally a bad idea if we consider on throwing some few spare bucks on Robson because we never know, he might be hailed as the winner at the end of the fight Grin I'm just saying because I'm also thinking about it as there could be upsets lurking somewhere and this fight is not safe of an upset either.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 02, 2022, 05:57:09 PM
It's September and there is still no contract signed we've been told that its a done deal but the contract signing, you can never guarantee by words or talks alone there must contract deal and date for this fight to really happen, that's the missing link to this fight, as long as there is no contract both boxers can back out of the deal and if they target the November date they should do the contract ASAP if no contract by the end of September the fight could not push through this November, fighters are training because of the incoming fight based on the contract.

I'm thinking the same way too, if there's no final announcement by the end of this month then I guess it's already safe to assume that there would be no undisputed match that would take place this year especially if their looking forward to make it happen in November. I know we've been expecting this to happen and we are even delighted when we knew that there's an ongoing discussion but I think we are near the point where we get tired of assuming.

Still, I will try to be optimistic that we will receive a good news this month and there is still time for them to make some final preparations (if there's any).
2372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 02, 2022, 05:27:47 PM
A mismatch? An easy win for Inoue? Not even a big challenge for Inoue? Can't blame some people's view about the match as the distance between Naoya Inoue and Paul Butler is really that wide and long gap. I can't even think of a way how Butler can survive the wrath of Inoue.

No mentioned venue at the moment but it's in Japan. The first time Paul Butler will fight outside the United Kingdom. Almost all advantages are on Inoue.

Wow! This fight took earlier than I expected because I believe at first that this fight will be possible next year and I didn't even know at all that both camps have an ongoing discussion to make this fight happen as I'm so focused on waiting for Spence-Crawford undisputed fight.

It's really safe to say that this fight is really a mismatch and will be a walk in the park for Inoue because Butler has no tools in his belt that could potentially defeat the Japanese boxer, therefore, the latter cannot really avoid getting a defeat in this fight. Well, the only good thing on Butler's side is that this fight might be his biggest paycheck in his career as he possesses the last remaining belt in the bantamweight division.

Inoue was not damage in his fight against Donaire, it just took him 2 rounds. While Butler was extending, still he won so it's good that this two will fight before the end of the year to settle the best bantamweight.

It could be walk in the park, but for sure Butler are not going to be intimidated by Inoue and he want this challenge. But we all know how brutal Inoue, I'm expecting that he will used his jab here, just to make Butler feel his power. As someone said, we can't find weaknesses on his game.

Well, it's indeed good that they've settled a fight already to know who's the best bantamweight even though we know who will likely be called an undisputed boxer in the said division.

If that's the case then I think that is much better because Butler is also looking forward to see why Inoue is called the monster of Japan, it will be nice to see a full rounds of exchanging punches until we can witness who will survive.
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 01, 2022, 03:51:48 PM
I agree, let's say we give Westbrook a chance this season, if he improve under coach Ham then good for the Lakers. If not, then for sure in the middle of the season we might see him get traded. And there are rumors that Ham wanted Pat and Russ play at the same time. So it will be an interesting combination to see them both in the floor. Two high octane players, gonna be fun.

I think Los Angeles Lakers are always open to giving Westbrook a chance.

However, if things really not worked out and they see Westbrook is really struggling in his role or anything, it will be hard for the Lakers to trade him in the middle of the season as here in the off-season, they can't even find a good trade package from other teams. Maybe much more difficult during the off-season.

If they will decide to keep Westbrook, they should risk on him the whole season and just work on trading him the next off-season.

I'm kind of curious though what Darvin Ham's strategy for Westbrook, so I guess we will see it soon. But if in any case that plan fails, the Laker's have Patrick to take take Westbrook's role.

According to some report that Darvin Ham plans to put both Westbrook and Pat Bev in the starting line up and play together side by side.
Also, there are rumors that Pat Bev and Westbrook had conversations already. I guess they are now building a chemistry and forget their beef before.
Pat Bev seems to have a good professionalism towards his teammates and Westbrook seems a nice guy as well. I hope this will work out for the Lakers this season.
If AD avoids any major injury this season, I believe the Lakers could successfully run this roster again next season.

That's indeed good if those reports and rumors will turn out exactly true, Pat Bev and WB playing side by side is surely an interesting sight to see together with Lebron and AD. But they still need a reliable 6th man so that the team can still be dangerous if one of the main line-ups is resting.

Anthony Davis's health plays an important role for the team because if he won't be around, Lebron will again take heavy load for that.
2374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October on: September 01, 2022, 11:19:34 AM
Seeing Loma and Haney in one ring would really be exciting though it will also be a big challenge for the both of them. Haney might really be the bettor favorite but I think Lomo would really show off his aggressiveness to beat down Haney. Loma vs Ortiz would be another opportunity for Loma to strengthen up his stamina in preparation for him to face Haney in the future.
This is my thoughts exactly. My money is on Lomachenko. For me, he possess the qualities of a good boxer. Unlike Ortiz, he has a better Boxing IQ and ring generalship. During the match, I expect that he’ll be able to pick up the pace to an intense level. This will in turn expose cracks in Ortiz ring IQ that should bring about mistakes in the ring. I see this match as a prep fight for Loma. The real deal is going to be with Haney.

I wouldn't bet my money against Lomachenko either because that's very unwise to do Grin
I also have no doubts that Lomachenko got this and he has the upper hand in this fight even if Oritz is younger and has the height and reach advantage. I'd say that those advantages that the latter have won't mean that much compared to Lomachenko's IQ in the ring. Also, there's a good probability that this fight could end in TKO/KO rather than a decision.

There are a lot of boxers that fought Lomachenko in their prime, with the height and reach advantage bust still lost to him. It just shows that Loma is really above those boxers, his trainer alone was un-orthodox, we haven't seen that kind of trainings before, it's not just his skills, but like the reaction time, it's just like watching Steph Curry doing his drills but not with a basketball, but some other training to improved his skill set, like decision making that why he has  big boxing IQ. Right, this fight could end in a TKO/KO and won't go to the judges scorecard.

That proves why Loma is not an average fighter who can be bullied right away if his foe has the height and reach advantages, fighting Loma without proper training regimen is like fighting blindly in the ring because he can really get you where you won't expect it the most as his IQ is so vast in this sport.

I also agree that this fight might end by a way of TKO/KO in Lomachenko's favor, he will do that as a sign of his comeback.

2376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 01, 2022, 09:06:06 AM
The rematch will happen if they are after the money and grant the wish of the fans, regardless of who will win the fight, it's still interesting to see a rematch. I guess let's focus first of the possibility or a chance that this fight will become into reality, and we can talk about a rematch later.

The fight is being the wish of the fans for a long and this fight is likely will generate a big money but still, there are lots of hindrances to making this fight official. It means the possibility of a rematch will have the same status. Definitely, the winner of this fight will now finally move to 154 lbs because that was their respective goal. Crawford will move up if this fight won't materialize while Spence is willing to move up too even not having a fight with Crawford.

See the picture here? They don't bother with each other if this won't really happen.

Going back to the fight, this fight will happen by high chance based on the last article I posted here from a good and reliable source.

I'm hoping it will because it will disappoint us that after we got hyped it will still not gonna happen. At least before they move up in weight, they should give us the fight that we want to see, what's the reason for not fighting each other, for sure not a money problem as you've mentioned they'll make a lot of money here, the only hindrance is they are not real warriors, they are afraid to lose.

It won't base on that last update they are almost on completion and the desire date might be possible this coming October, though

still no finalization but it's moving, and the chance is high now, just some concern that needed to address then it will go smoothly, most fans

are hoping that both fighters will accept the challenge and be the best fighter from this division. Let's see if who's really the tough one and

will continue to have a clean record after this fight.

If they could pursue this match, it will surely be one of the most awaited fights this year and would really make noise. We're all been waiting for exciting matches of huge names in the boxing industry. There have been lots of hindrances but I guess they're already doing all the processes to push this fight later this year.

I don't think there have been a lot of hindrances, if there is, it just boils down to money.

Who will be the A-side, what network is going to cover the fight? So for me this fight could easily be made, but I guess the people behind doesn't want it if the money is not right or at least everyone is not satisfied on how much they are getting. It's September and we haven't heard a thing about it. So it's better that we shouldn't talk it for now, for sure it is really wearing out to hear this fight in public and then nothing is happening from the background.

I guess Spence's camp is not yet satisfied with the estimated figure they could get on this match or it could be Spence trying to stall some time so that his advantage against Crawford will grow. Aside from that, I don't think they are having another trouble that causes this fight not to materialize. We've been speculating this fight since June and now it's already September, yet haven't received any good updates regarding this fight.
2377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Banks on: August 31, 2022, 05:37:31 PM
It’s really great to see that Bitcoins are way ahead of Banks.
Thanks to Satoshi for which we are enjoying these awesome features and are having full access to our money.
Earlier also I used to hate banks, due to taxes and ample of laws. Banks are always abided by the government and follows it’s order like a dog, on the other hand due to the decentralised nature of Bitcoins, no government can ever find out how much BTC I have.
BTC will always be ahead of banks and also after a later period of time, the comparison won’t exist.

It's because bitcoin is created to get way ahead of the banks and its sole purpose is to give the people other options to avoid inflation as fiats aren't reliable to avoid such events. Now the government is trying to control it but they can't because it's decentralized, they cannot possibly control all our phones to gain control of bitcoin on their own terms.

We all know how volatile and unpredictable the cryptocurrency market can be. One month, a coin may be at its peak of value, and the next, it may have almost no value at all. Unfortunately, this is simply the name of the game when it comes to cryptography. But what would happen if the oldest and most valuable asset on the market, Bitcoin, dropped to zero?

This question is already expected from a newbie as one is not knowledgeable and used to see the market having price fluctuations most of the time. But when we talk about bitcoin, knowing it’s the most prominent and the one that dominates the crypto market, it’s hard to see its value dropping into zero. Although bitcoin is also not stable, but knowing that it had survived more than 10 years of battling with a lot of attacks, that one proves that bitcoin will not be easily become useless in the end.

Well, the OP is obviously and indeed a newbie in this kind of discussion and seriously didn't bother to do some research before starting a thread here in this forum. Bitcoin has a chance to drop to flat zero, yes, but that possibility is really like a razor-sharp type of slim. Even if the whales will work altogether, they cannot possibly sink the bitcoin to have a zero price easily because there are other holders as well who holds numerous amounts of bitcoins as well as those wallets who have been buried or forgotten.

Butlers camp wont really be that dumb on not to make out some preparation for this fight and its true that this fight might be the biggest on his paycheck plus it would really boost up popularity if he would take down "The monster" which had been still undefeated up to this date.Yes, this was a little bit unexpected that it had been pushed within this year. There are no doubts on who would be the bookie's favorite on this one which is Inoue. We cant really assure though and Inoue shouldnt really be that too confident but i do agree that this might be looking like a walk in the park fight.  Cheesy

I didn't say that Butler's camp shouldn't do some preparations but what I am saying is that Butler is unfortunate because this might be just a walk in the park for Inoue, there's a difference mate Grin

It's really hard to think that Butler can defeat the monster because judging from his performance recently, he is nowhere near Inoue's capabilities. I know there's a possibility of an upset in any given fight but Butler's chances are really slim and he cannot do anything about it.

I'd say that he is still worth the chance to prove his capabilities this coming season and have the same faith that coach Darvin Ham gave to him. We never know, Westbrook might be more effective this time because he knew that this is his last chance to prove his worthiness in the league as this is his last season too before he lands in free agency.

Of course, Westbrook still has a chance to prove to all the haters and team management that he can still be effective throughout the season. However, it will be very hard for him both mentally and physically. To be honest, I'm leaning toward the fact that the upcoming season may be the last time in Westbrook's career that he gets such a huge paycheck.

It's hard for Westbrook part last season because we know how emotionally hard for him to be part of Lakers especially all of the blame comes to him that's why his game change and he's totally affected by all of bashing. Next season he need to prove to his haters that his still a all star caliber and he's worth all the dime he receive thru his contract. It will be his last season to get huge payment if he cannot produce a good performance next season so he need to work hard on this.

That's right, he became the main reason and took all the bashing why the Lakers haven't reached far enough last season because he is not playing effectively in his given role. I see that Westbrook really tried hard but it seems like it's really hard for him transitioning from the main baller to being a supportive role to AD and Lebron.

Well, Westbrook has been silent since the season ended and he may be undergoing intensive training to be more effective this coming season and give the Lakers the puzzle they've been missing all this time. We never know, right?
