Why do all altcoins increase in value or decrease together regardless of the quality of the coin. Is the market controlled by a few giant whales who plays the market according to there whims? Price movement of almost all coins are similar even up to hourly trading price movements. Is it people just behaving like sheeps or market manipulation.
Though markets manipulation is evidence in crypto currencies markets and we cannot really eliminate that now because of its market capitalizations. Because of the forgone reason we do see coins price always show price movement in one direction. |

Your loss -$103 become an advantage for others obviously, you can consider it was used for benefit of society.
But for me, it just a loss which could be avoided if you were not in hurry to sell bitcoin. Yes, it close to breaking even but in bitcoin environment, people could make more than just break even in the right time.
This is the simplest explanation into it and I agree. Let's face it, maybe the seller is panicking that Bitcoin can go lower so he decided to cut his potential loss. And it can go either way...either he is right or wrong if Bitcoin bounced back and in that case he should have just waited. It happened to me before and I regretted it badly...sometimes just waiting and not doing anything can be the solution to panicking. Panic is an enemy in trading. Op has loss and his losses is not a benefit to the society if we analyzed his losses very well and have business mind to it. If $103 was a benefit to the society? Then who benefits from his losses? To me the greedy exchangers who manipulate the price to they benefits. Never think that when ever you make a loss you are making a charity dedication but thing that it fell to the hand of manipulators'. |

Trading is completely uncertain. We need to be prepared enough analysing the market to make a perfect move, only then it's possible to make a better profit buying and selling the proper altcoin and other digital assets at the right time.

Just don't risk what you can't afford to lose. Better invest just half of your money to crypto. Buy both bitcoin and altcoins to cover your losses when altcoin dump and bitcoin rises vice versa. We don't know the market movement. Trading is hard. You need to be ready whatever happens. Its risky but its worth the risk when you win.

So I still think BTC is the real thing and the way to go - but I want to put a smaller amount into ETC or ETH, kind of as an insurance.
What are the differences, and which one of the two would you recommend?
I only know that ETH was created through a hard fork after somebody scammed somebody, so that scam could be reversed. Which means in ETH, transactions can theoretically be reversed.
Any input welcome.
If I desire to invest in Eth or Eth classic, I think I will go for eth classic as this is one of the coins that has been pencil down for next pump. Eth was over pump to over bought levels and one need big capital currently to make it big in eth. Eth classic on the other hand is currently cheap, you can buy and make huge profit from the next pump. |

What are your views on this? After the People's Bank of China banned the withdrawals of any cryptocoin from exchanges under their legal authority, are Chinese exchanges still significant? It was shown that all coins in the cryptospace can still go up intensely without them.
Because of the band localbitcoin transaction volume has increased tremendously. I my own views people bank of china and Chinese exchangers like okcoin and bitcc has lost their power of manipulating bitcoin price by those they attack on bitcoin. |

You can go get online jobs which you are capable of doing, Just make some effort and then you will earn  For now even if op is a programmer, make 1bitcoin in a month through online job is almost impossible. To me the best way to really make money in bitcoin or making one bitcoin a month is through trading. Though, you will need to learn how to trade and also capital for investment. |

Definitely trading, but i would recommend staying away from chargebackable payment methods unless you know what your doing.
Trading is far better than cloud mining but both depends on your deep knowledge on how it be done.
